Dr. Chasen and his wonderful staff made my decision to go ahead with breast augmentation surgery so easy! After my consult, I knew I would be going to the best surgeon and would be in the best care. while results were good. i clearly explained what i was looking for pre-op results wise. i feel like the doctor kind of did what they wanted to do rather than listen to what i was really saying. i ended up going to another MD to get another procedure to get my desired results. I could have gone to practically anyone in the world. Really, I’m pretty mobile ! I interviewed doctors from San Diego to London, and a few were contenders. I had such an amazing experience at Ranch and Coast. Dr. Chasan was recommended to me by a friend who went to him after her previous surgeon botched her tummy tuck. She could not sing his praises enough. When I went for my consultation for breast augmentation, all of the staff was wonderful and the offices are set up with a warm, spa like feel instead of like a clinic, which I loved. I met Dr. Chasan and he answered all of my questions very thoroughly and was very honest with me when I asked about any issues with (medical or legal) he has had with patients in the past and how he handled them. He really listened to what I wanted the end result of my surgery to be, and also gave his professional input on what he felt would work best for my body type. The surgery went very smoothly, and the Dr. and staff made sure I was extremely comfortable. I was given all the after-care instructions and medications I would need, and had four follow up appointments over the course of two months to ensure everything was healing well. The outcome of the surgery is even better than I imagined it could be. The incision sites are so small that you'd have to be really looking for them to see them, even after only two months. The size and shape of my breasts are exactly what I wanted, and they look and feel amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Chasan and his staff, not just for cosmetic surgery but they also offer other esthetic services as well which I have taken advantage of and have been very happy with the results.

Dr. Chasan and his staff are amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with them. I had a breast augmentation and could not be happier with the results. Dr. Chasan is professional and attentive and truly an expert plastic surgeon. After nursing two boys, I knew my breasts needed some help, but was nervous about an augmentation resulting in "fake" looking breasts. Dr. Chasan took the time to listen to my concerns and asked several questions in order to be clear about the aesthetic I was hoping to achieve. He assured me that my breasts would look "natural" and after seeing pictures of some of his clients, I felt confident that I was in excellent hands. We went back and forth about the size and ultimately I went with his suggestion, which was slightly bigger than I was originally thinking. I am so happy I did! He knew exactly what he was doing and I am so glad I trusted him. My breasts are literally perfect! Also, the scars are undetectable. After vacillating for over a year about whether or not to get an augmentation, I could not be happier that I did! I feel like a new woman :) If you are on the fence like I was, I say, go for it and definitely go to Dr. Chasan. The only thing you'll regret is that you didn't do it sooner!!!

I don't usually write reviews, and I apologize in advance for the length of this review, but I found reviews so important when finding my Doctor, and I did A LOT of research prior to getting my procedure done. Dr. Chasan is nothing short of a miracle worker when it comes to plastic surgery and I would give him way more than 5 stars if I could! I went on five different consultations with well respected Doctor's, Dr. Chasan was my fifth, and I knew from our first consultation that my search for a plastic surgeon was over. Having 3 kids had left my breasts incredibly deflated, but I still had a significant amount of breast tissue. Every Doctor I saw prior to meeting with Dr. Chasan recommended the same thing, huge implant (they were talking 500cc plus), under the muscle, and it would magically perk up my breasts. But I was already wearing a DD bra that gouged into my shoulders because they were already heavy and sitting so low, so the thought of adding more weight sounded less than appealing to me. Every Doctor said that it "wasn't worth the scars" to do a lift, or they would just do a crescent lift to minimize scaring. Dr. Chasan had a much different approach, and was very upfront with me about what the results would be of doing that. I was sitting 6-inches lower than I should have been, and he told me about the surgery that he had spent his entire career perfecting, the reductive augmentation, where he would remove some of my breast tissue, lift my breasts, and put an implant high under the muscle (I wanted a rounder look). That was exactly what I was looking for, and I trusted he would be able to give me the results I wanted. I saw his work, and my fear of scars went right out the window because I seriously had to look very closely at his work to see ANYTHING, and I was looking for it! If I wasn't looking VERY closely for it, I literally wouldn't have seen a scar. I'm now post reductive augmentation and WOW! I knew his work was going to be amazing, but it's more than that, it's perfect! I wouldn't change a single thing about my choice in procedure and Doctor other than wishing I had done it sooner! Dr. Chasan has more than restored my previous confidence, it's better than it has ever been! Dr. Chasan is the only plastic surgeon I would recommend to friends. Not only that, everyone on his staff was amazing, they made me feel very welcome, cared for, and on the day of surgery were awesome to put me at ease. The results of my procedure (big and risky) at the hands of Dr. Chasan, as my surgeon, are beyond my own expectations - and it's only been two months. Knowing a lot of plastic surgeons in my line of work, I had a lofty group of doctors to choose from. I'm eternally grateful I went with Dr. Chasan. His honest and direct communication made me feel he was in control and had the skills to sculpt my body as I desired. We had a challenge in my anatomy (old gallbladder scar) he needed to master around. He was honest with me about it being a small challenge but left me feeling trusting in his care. A hint of vulnerability with confidence is big to me in an industry that is ego-driven. This trait is a sign of a master surgeon. I've know Dr. Chasan professionally for several years, I knew he had a great reputation in the industry - but after seeing my results I'm so happy and relieved he was my surgeon, a master artist with the human body. And I'm sorry I waited so long to have this procedure done. His fees are not on the lower end of cost scale, you can find lower costs with other surgeons in town but it's your body your dealing with - you deserve the best result with the best care. My results are well worth every dollar I scraped together to get this done. I'm already thinking what other procedures can I have done by Dr. Chasan! His staff and facility are abundant, attentive, caring and professional. They make you feel like you are the most important patient. Look no further, you are right where you belong, at Ranch and Coast Plastic Surgery. Lastly, I love the location, private parking 15 steps from their front door, next to a starbucks, in Del Mar and two blocks from the ocean.

Top notch all around! My results far exceeded my expectations, and I am thrilled! Dr. Chasan is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work. The staff are wonderful, location and facilities beautiful. I was an out of state patient, and the coordination and answering of my questions was fabulous, even right down to the easy to understand pre-op paperwork specific for traveling patients. Dr. Chasan even has nurses that can stay overnight with you, which was extremely helpful in my case. 5 stars all around!

I have been wanting to do rhinoplasty for a long time. I had seen 2 doctors prior to seeing Dr. Chasan and was not convinced that the other doctors could provide the results that I wanted- so I waited. I thought about doing this for years and was terrified because of the bad results some of my friends have had (they've had to do revisions multiple times and it still looks not great). I am currently 19 days post op from my Surgery with Dr. Chasan and cant believe how good my nose looks!! It literally could not have been done better. I am happy to say that I'm one of the few rhinoplasty patients out there that will not need any revisionary surgery and its all because I found Dr. Chasan. THANK YOU :)

I will begin by saying that I could not be happier with the result—it well exceeded my expectations, which I mostly attribute to Dr. Chasan knowing, much better than me, what best fit my face. I’m a male in my forties and of mostly Mediterranean descent. My nose was a bit large for my face; bridge was slightly hooked, but the bigger issue was that my tip was undefined—bulbous and drooping...and gradually getting worse with age. Prior to selecting Dr. Chasan, I researched quite a bit about rhinoplasties and consulted with six plastic surgeons in the local area. Some may say that would be overkill, but I received differing opinions and had a mix of experiences during the consultations. Ultimately I chose Dr. Chasan because I felt that our visions were most aligned, his vast experience specifically with rhinoplasties, and his confidence that he would achieve the results we discussed. I initially hesitated because he does not provide computer imaging or any type of sketches like some of the others do. We used some of his previous patient photos as discussion points. Also, I brought in computer imaging that I did myself on my personal computer—again as discussion points. What I learned was that in the end, I had to let go and give Dr. Chasan the latitude to use his experience and judgment to craft a nose that’s perfectly suited for my face. I gave him guidance with some lateral limits, then I put the ball in his court and he delivered! Result: amazing! I really love it. I’m writing this at three months post surgery and feel like this is my natural nose. At only three weeks post-surgery, I went to a family event and neither my parents nor my siblings noticed that I had my nose done...and it wasn’t a small procedure by any stretch. The scar due to the open rhinoplasty is virtually invisible—even when trying to find it. Even when the swelling was at its worst toward the beginning, my nose looked better than before the surgery. Dr. Chasan’s staff was great from the consult, surgery, and so far throughout the follow up appointments. I give him my highest recommendation, and would happily go to him again.

Where to begin?! Dr Chasan and his team are amazing! Let me start by saying I worked for 8 years in an office providing service to affluent, well educated, and dare I say, high maintenance clients. Over the years, we developed a rapport with our regulars who openly discussed cosmetic procedures they had done. Time and time again the same stellar raves came our way for one surgeon: Dr. Paul Chasan. In fact, I had more than one woman say, "Dr. Chasan is THE man for any and all things boob related in San Diego!" In addition to hearing their stories, I SAW their results. Five stars are not fair enough to rate Dr. Chasan. Bottom line is: if you want to save your time and energy searching, I would highly recommend an artist, a perfectionist and the best plastic surgeon for you; that will be Dr. Chasan. He takes his time listening to you, reading your mind and in all honesty suggests the best option for you. Moreover, his work is beyond perfect; very minimum scarring, easy to heal and proportion to your body.

From day one and my initial phone call, to my most recent post-op follow up, I can't say enough GOOD words about Dr. Paul Chasan and his staff at Ranch & Coast Plastic Surgery. As a first time patient of plastic surgery I was a little scared and tense about having this type of procedure done (which is natural) but I am so glad I decided to move forward and have my procedure done as I am so happy with the amazing results. A quick background on myself, throughout my youth I incurred many injuries which impacted the left side of my body, mainly my lower right leg and calf. For many years I tried everything possible to build my right calf back up to it's original size, but the nerve damage that I sustained made it literally impossible. I decided that having calf implants could be an option for me and after researching the pros and cons I decided to visit Dr. Paul Chasan. I ended up having both of my calf's done and I cannot tell you how happy I am and how great my calf's look (size, sculpture) they look just amazing!!
