I underwent a rhinoplasty at Nayak plastic surgery in June of 2021. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. From the jump, Dr. Nayak made me feel safe and comfortable. I was especially pleased with the extra steps he took to ensure that the surgery went as smooth as possible - he and his team outline in detail the medications and substances that you cannot take several months before surgery. I have had other friends undergo plastic surgery as well and their surgeons did not give the same safety guidelines, and they experienced significantly more bruising and swelling. Before the surgery, I was very nervous. It was my first ever surgery so I (embarrassingly) cried a bit in the operating room. His staff held my hands and brushed through my hair to calm me down, and I knew that I was in good hands as I drifted off. They checked in on me several times after surgery as well, and by 7 days post-op I had almost no bruising left. I would like to get a few more surgeries in the future, and from now on Dr. Nayak is the only surgeon I would trust to operate on my face. Couldn’t recommend more !

When I was looking for someone that had plenty of photos, resources and answers - I arrived here over and over again, and I live in KANSAS CITY! I was so nervous to begin this self-care - I probably watched them for months on Instagram before making my first appointment. I honestly have no idea where I would go if they didn't exist, because no other place was willing to inform me on treatments to the extent that they did. If you are someone like me that needs plenty of photos, videos, informational posts, answered questions etc. - find the Instagram pages of Nayak and his team! As for the actual appointment experience - I have now seen Julie Boron, Jennifer Morrison and Jenn Jones for filler and felt in good hands with each one. :) I have also seen Emily Altman for IPL and loved the results so much that I have more scheduled for Fall. (I started in Summer and thought it'd be easier to finish the treatments in cloudier months) Again - find them on Instagram if you are nervous. It helped me take the step from onlooker to patient, and am happy I did.

I went to Emily for IPL and I am OBSESSED!! I have been to Nayak's for botox and filler for years, but this was my first time receiving laser here. I had IPL a few months prior at another medspa and it was pretty painful with no results so I wasn't sure if I were ever going to do it again. But then I saw Emily's work and realized it wasn't the IPL that was bad- its all about the person doing it! Emily is the best and it shows!!!! She is so sweet and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time! I barely felt a thing! I can already tell I am going to love the results!! Thank you so much and I will be back for more :)

I’ve been coming here for about three years, I might only wish is that I had started earlier! Julie is my provider and she is not only super professional and great at her job, she also really takes the time to listen to exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to filler and Botox. She is excellent at suggesting something that you might not have thought of that will really add to your experience. I was unhappy with how my lower face is starting to look (hello 40) and this visit she added a little filler to my chin which has made a huge amount of difference! If you’re thinking of getting filler and Botox or any kind of plastic surgery, this is most definitely the place to be. Everyone who works here is super friendly, very patient and top notch. They also have a great sale where you can pre-buy fillers that usually happens in November, which I really appreciate.

I am 56 years of age and had never had any kind of a surgical procedure in my life. I began looking for a surgeon in the St. Louis area about a year before and saw several. I was not happy with anyone until I went for a consult at Dr. Nayak's. I had never waited more than 5 minutes in his waiting room, the building and staff are awesome, and Dr. Nayak was above and beyond anyone else that I interviewed. He took plenty of time and even showed me the desired effects he wanted to see in a mirror on the first consult. He was very realistic and told all the things that could go wrong which was a bit scary but nothing did go wrong and 4 weeks post surgery, I am VERY happy with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Nayak and his staff. He does charge $100 for a consult but if you don't decide to do surgery, you can use it on product or services at their spa.

Background: I'm a 36 year old nurse whose once cute freckles have morphed into sun-damaged age spots that basically looked worse when I tried to cover up with foundation, so I basically embraced them with light makeup. UNTIL NOW! After my first IPL treatment with Emily (who is also AMAZING, by the way!), nearly ALL of my icky age spots have disappeared, fine lines/wrinkles dramatically diminished, and my skin literally has this insane glow that I've never seen on myself before. I waited three months for my appointment. I couldn't attend the appointment since I am in the military and was working flood duty. I needed an email reminder, which I didn't get, even though I have them an email address. The office staff, with the exception of Erin Mueller, was impossible to work with. They couldn't get me back in in a timely manner. No one would talk to me when Erin wasn't at work on Fridays, my only day off of school. I would recommend going anywhere else. No body should have to deal with the wasted time and heart ache that I did. Just know that this practice is fully aware that they don't need your business and you aren't important to them as an individual.

Had my first IPL session with Emily and I could not be more thrilled with the results. After years of tanning beds and laying out with little spf, I had tons of freckles on my face (really sun damage). During both of my pregnancies, the discoloration got worse and included some broken capillaries as well. One IPL session with Emily and my skin is even and glowy! The discomfort during the IPL is tolerable and Emily walks you through what she’s doing the whole time. You can wear makeup immediately after but I didn’t feel the need to, the freckles start to look like coffee grounds but it wasn’t noticeable enough that I felt I needed to cover it up. So happy with the results and Emily is the best. She’s extremely knowledgeable and you know you’re in good hands. Plus she’s just fun to chat with! IPL is worth every penny and I’m looking forward to the next time.

Even as I write this, I start to get teary eyed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nayak and his staff. I have suffered from fullness in my chin and neck for as long as I can remember. Even at my thinnest, pre-children, I was always self conscious about that area. Over the years, I have learned my angles and how to take a picture so my double chin doesn’t show, but anytime a candid photo was taken, I would immediately cringe not knowing if I was going to look like I actually had a jawline. Seriously. And the absolute worst part is that I have actually deleted some pictures of myself with my kids bc I just couldn’t stand how I looked. That’s broken my heart the most in recent years and finally lead me to the decision that I needed to do something about it. I was referred to Dr Nayak from another plastic surgeon and from the very first communication I had with his office (Carrie- she’s absolutely fabulous), I knew I was in the best possible hands. I had the Lipotite and Buccal Fat Removal procedures done, as well as some fillers injected into my upper cheeks and some of my own fat injected into my chin. I was extremely excited, but also very very nervous. But with Dr Nayak, Carrie, and Gina, they all went above and beyond to answer all my questions and make me feel as comfortable as possible. In fact, every single person in the operating room who assisted with my procedures was amazing. You can tell that they all love and are passionate about what they are doing. My recovery has been fairly easy and pain free so far and my results have already exceeded my expectations (it’s only been 4 days!) and they will keep getting better and better! I feel truly thankful and blessed to have found Dr Nayak and his team. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I would go back to their office in a heartbeat for any plastic surgery needs. They have truly changed my life!

Not only is Dr. Nayak and his staff friendly, caring and professional, it is clear that they continuously strive to remain on the cutting edge of technology and treatment options. Though there are plastic surgeons much closer to my home, I drive over 8 hours roundtrip especially to get the 'liquid facelift' - fillers and Botox - because of Dr. Nayak's expertise. I have had fillers and Botox before, with disastrous results, but after much research found Dr. Nayak and gave it one last chance. That was years ago and I would only every trust him with my face. Recently, I had fillers done with a cannula that he is now using and was ecstatic with the results - zero bruising and thus no downtime. I saw Dr Nayak for a $200 rhinoplasty consultation and he spent exactly 7 minutes with me. Yes, I timed it. The first thing he said to me is I can’t get your nose straight. I said even with a rib cartilage graft? He said, I don’t do those, no explanation why he doesn’t, nothing. Every great cosmetic surgeon from New York to LA will use rib cartilage when necessary. Second thing I said was ideally I’d like the tip smaller and he immediately dismissed that and said I don’t think we are too far off on the tip. I’m the customer right? Does MY opinion on MY nose mean nothing?? Then came the quote for $14,000, twice as much as most surgeons around St Louis. I had seen several. Mr Nayak might have all the fancy billboards and hype but I found him smug and short and in too big of hurry to listen to my needs. Go see Dr Jeffery Steitz with St Louis Facial Plastic Surgery. He spent 45 minutes with me during the first consult and another 30 at a second when I had more questions. He is young but extremely nice, never rushed, well trained by some of the best and a true artist. He performed my surgery and my nose could not be straighter or look better. And it was a challenging case from trama to my nose as a kid. And for half the cost of Mr. Nayak.

Sorry I meant to put a 1 star, got a nose job here and they completely messed my nose up. I asked for the tip to be smaller and bump taken out, the tip ended up being way bigger than before (thanks nayak). Dr. Nayak was honestly one of the most stuck up surgeons I have ever met, always gave his own opinion when it wasn't necessary, and constantly in a rush. I kept asking if the tip of my nose was going to go down due to it being swollen and he told me it would but I see no difference. Highly recommend going to a different surgeon in St. Louis for rhinoplasties.
