I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Laverson! I had been contemplating breast augmentation for nearly a decade. After years of weight gain and loss due to a thyroid condition, my breast were deflated and saggy. Every surgeon I consulted with except Dr. Laverson said I needed a lift; that a breast augmentation would not be enough. Dr. Laverson was the only surgeon who felt that I could get away with a breast augmentation alone since I was willing to go with a large implant (650cc). He thoroughly explained his rational for recommending a breast augmentation without a lift. He could not guarantee that the breast augmentation would be enough to lift my saggy breast; however, he was willing to give me a periareolar lift should I had needed one without additional fees! His willingness to do whatever it took to guarantee a good result is what sold me. He spent plenty of time with me at my consultation and post op visits answering all my questions. I saw several high profile Beverly Hills plastic surgeons, but none of them made me feel like patient satisfaction was their top priority. Dr. Laverson is prompt to return phone calls, answer emails, and truly cares about his patients. He won't sell you on something you don't need. I'm about 14 weeks post op and I could not be happier!!!! My breast look better than I expected. Breast augmentation has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel so much more confident about my body and it has even improved my relationship with my darling boyfriend. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner! It was well worth the money and I would definitely recommend Dr. Laverson to anyone considering this procedure!

Dr. Laverson is professional and a perfectionist. He listened to me and made me "feel beautiful" just the way I am. He recommended many options however told me to think about the options prior to rushing into anything. He injected some Botox per my request and was very gentle. Feel beautiful plastic surgery is such a beautiful facility and the surgery center is just as clean and pristine. I was very nervous about the anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist called me the night before and talk to me about all of my medical history and made me feel such at ease before I even went into surgery the next day. He was amazing I was so nervous about the needle and it hurting and him not being able to find my vein because I have very small veins. He numbed the area and found my vein very easily and it didn’t hurt a bit. All the nurses were fantastic and made me feel such at ease with the entire surgery. I don’t remember much after that getting home. The first few days of surgery I also don’t remember much the pain meds worked great except I broke out in a rash. My husband called Dr. Laverson right away and he immediately switched out my pain meds to something else it was a very easy and smooth process. I honestly wasn’t in as much pain as I thought I was going to be in the entire time. I am now six weeks out from surgery and feeling great. I feel and look amazing. I went in for my postop three days after surgery already walking and feeling great. Dr. Laverson took such great care of me checked all my bandages checked out my incision made sure everything was healing great and sent me on my way until my next postop. The whole staff has been awesome and so helpful with all of my questions.

He listened to my concerns & needs and knew exactly what I wanted I am ELATED with the amazing results. That said, I see where someone tried to bring a "service/therapy dog" into the sterile environment of this clinc. If my appointment had been on the day a dog was in the clinc I would have walked right out the door." Did you know it’s a well-documented fact that therapy dogs have been at the root of several cases of MRSA outbreak and spread within hospitals and there have been isolated cases of other infectious disease outbreaks that have traced back to dogs on the premises.( facts on anything pawsable"!!!!!!!!! I am greatful for the fact that Dr. Laverson thought about ME and his other patients in making his decision not to allow dogs on the premisis, this absolutely unacceptable behavior, I can't believe my eyes as I read the diatribe. I'm a 49 year old, mother of two teenaged boys. Over the last 5-7 years I have struggled with a redistribution of weight to my midsection, as I moved through perimenopause and the inevitable "change". After healthy living and exercise wasn't making even a small dent in this new found mid-section, I decided that if I found the right surgeon I would consider a tummy tuck. I must start by saying that I very rarely write reviews. But I recently recalled my experience with Dr. Laverson, and felt compelled to leave a long-overdue review that he truly earned. My situation was also quite different from most of his typical work, so I hope this also attests to his wide-ranging surgical skill. A couple of years ago I was involved in a bad motorcycle accident and wound up at Palomar Hospital. According to my family, doctors, and nurses, my face was pretty much smashed to bits and looked extremely gruesome. Some parts of my face were even missing. Anyway, Dr. Laverson was the on-call plastic surgeon that night. Once the E.R. doctors had gotten me stable, he had the impossible task of trying to fix my Freddy Krueger face by looking at an old picture of me on my fiance’s cell phone. Or at least it should’ve been impossible based on how bad my condition was... Fast forward a day or two, after my swelling from the surgery had gone down in order to see the results, my family and some coworkers came in to see. NONE of them could tell a difference from before the accident, including the coworkers who hadn’t seen my smashed face. Somehow, some way, Dr. Laverson was able to use plates, grafts, and whatever other tools and tricks in his brilliant surgical mind to make me look IDENTICAL to how I looked before splattering multiple pieces of my face on the side of a road. Shortly after my family, friends, and coworkers visited, Dr. Laverson himself visited as well to observe the post-swelling results, see how I was feeling, and to follow up on all the medical stuff he knew to look out for. He even asked my family and I if there was anything out of place, or changes we’d like to make, since he was happy to do another surgery to get everything exactly right. Because everything was already perfect I didn’t do another surgery, but his offer, his following up with me, and his sincere concern for my well being was absolutely amazing. There is only one last detail I want to mention, but it speaks volumes for Dr. Laverson’s outstanding character and genuine desire to help people feel beautiful and be happy with their looks. Since this was in the emergency room at the hospital, not only was it different than his usual surgeries by its type and difficulty, but the emergency was also paid for by my medical insurance. In the medical profession, this often means a significant pay-cut for the doctor from what they would normally charge. I don’t know if my surgery wound up being one of those times for Dr. Laverson, but I do know that he did a spectacular job given my horrendous condition, all while cancelling his Friday evening plans, and likely earning less than usual as well. I hope this review helps prove to potential customers that Dr. Laverson is a caring and outstandingly skilled surgeon, and to put anyone’s mind at ease that may be nervous or unsure about plastic surgery. And lastly, Dr. Laverson, I want to personally thank you for everything outlined above. I know there is no way I can ever really reciprocate what you did for me, but I hope this review can at least help show people and spread the word that you are an absolutely amazing person and professional.

Perfection at it's best. Dr. Laverson and his staff at The North Coast Health Center are among the very best. I had an upper and lower eye surgery done in 2011 and I look so refreshed still to this day. The care I received in the office procedure Dr. Laverson performed was very personal and professional. He was careful and concerned about the way my surgery might affect the natural shape of my face and he nailed it! For years I had droopy lids and sagging bags under both eyes. I had a breast augmentation done in 2012, as well as many fillers for my lips, Dr. Laverson is an amazing doctor. Everyone always compliments me on how natural everything looks. No one could tell I had implants or that my lips had fillers. He's such an amazing doctor. I can't believe I forgot to get around reviewing him on Google. He never pushed me towards procedures, like other surgeons did, in fact he always seemed to push me away from them. It was funny; he always said "you don't really need that, are you sure"? He kept trying to push me away from do anything. It made me feel a lot better, not only about how I looked, but just because I knew he wasn't just in it to get as much money as he could; he genuinely was concerned about how I felt. Dr Laverson is a perfectionist with his work. He always wanted to make sure everything was even and natural looking. I recommend him to everyone.

I couldn’t have found a better doctor! Dr. Laverson, his staff, and the facility are all top notch. His office is clean and beautifully decorated. Cherise and Kourtney are so friendly and personable, they made me feel comfortable immediately. Cherise, the office manager, worked with me and was so helpful through the preliminary process. I brought my young daughter in with me, and Kourtney, the medical assistant, was so kind and helpful with her, making it easier to get through the appointment. Dr. Laverson continues to amaze me. He doesn’t push unnecessary work. In fact, he told me that he didn’t think I actually needed one of the procedures, but if it’s what I wanted he would help me achieve the best result possible. That convinced me that he wasn’t just after the money like a lot of surgeons. After my surgery, he called me personally to see how I was feeling. And when I had a concern, I was able to get a hold of him immediately—even though he was at the airport and on vacation. Throughout my healing process, I have not stressed knowing he is attentive, available, and that he stands behind his work. Dr. Laverson has consistently demonstrated he is focused on quality results and patient satisfaction, and I would certainly turn to him first in the future.

Dr. Laverson performed a breast lift and breast augmentation on me 12/2012. During the surgery, the cauterizing instrument punctured the underneath of my breast, which required sutures, and left a scar on the bottom of my breast, that looks like melted skin and is about the size of a quarter. After the surgery, I was unhappy with the lift results and the shape of my breasts, and there was very bad scarring around the areola. Dr. Laverson was very very understanding and responsive and agreed to perform a revision surgery in his office. Fast forward to 2018. I have now had FIVE revision surgeries since the original surgery, each time with worse results, and worse scarring. The last visit, which I was charged for ($500) was 1/17 - and the results were the worst yet. I have two VERY different sized areolas, very bad scarring around both areolas (in addition to the quarter-sized scar from the original surgery), and still very saggy breast (minor improvement from pre-surgery) :-(. After the last revision, I had one follow up visit with Dr. Laverson, before leaving (I now outside of the US) after that, the office never once called to see how I was doing. I have since requested my medical records and have not received a response. I'll be finding a reconstructive speciality and have the implants removed, and hopefully at least get back to something that doesn't look like Frankenstein...PLEASE ASK TO SEE MY PHOTOS if you go in for a consult, I have given my permission. This will help you make an informed decision and choose the right doctor for you. My advice: See at least 3 different plastic surgeons before you make a choice...look what can happen if you make the wrong choice...

I felt so comfortable from the moment I stepped into his beautiful office, his staff was very friendly and I never felt rushed throughout my entire consult. Dr. Laverson listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions making me feel comfortable with my decision to move forward with him as my surgeon. Blepharoplasty botched! Dr Laverson performed Blepharoplasty on me last year and now my eyes are droopy, uneven and I have not been able to see the same since my surgery. He does not know what he is doing when it comes to the eyes. And charges considerably more than other surgeons who specialize in eye surgery. Save yourself the heartbreak, time, money and trouble. Avoid this office at all costs! In Response - Oh Dr Laverson - The lies you tell. We both know I do not have money problems. In fact, you WISH you had my kind of money problems. Your business will fail as long as you continue to offer procedures that should be referred to those who know how to perform them. Why would you not measure my eyelids? Isn't that Blepharoplasty 101? I understand that you needed the money but trust me, it is not worth losing what is left of your reputation. Best to stick to what you know.

I am an elderly lady who , last fall , (September) had an accident which resulted in a broken knee, wrist , and worst of all a completely crushed nose in the shape of a Z. After healing the big bones, I went for a consultation with Doctor Laverson who assured me he could repair all the damages to the face. So, in November I decided to have the surgery, a complete and complicated reconstruction as I was totally disfigured. I could not be more happy with the results, not only esthetically, but also the fact that I can now breath normally on the right side again. I can not say enough about the caring and concern that Doctor Laverson and his staff showed me before, during and after the surgery, and during the follow up visits in the office. In between , the Doctor or his staff called to make sure I was doing well. To know and have the reassurance that I could call on a 24/7 base was invaluable to me.
