I am very unhappy and will be moving my services to another dental office. I was scheduled for work and given an approximate dollar value of what this work was going to cost before my visit. During my visit, a problem was encountered, and instead of discussing with me the options I may have, they went ahead with doing work which was far more extensive and EXPENSIVE than what I was quoted. Again, nothing was discussed with me while I was in the dental chair, and the dentist and assistance were speaking in a language other than English while completing the work on my teeth. After the visit, I was told that the work done had now totaled an additional $200 dollars more than what I was quoted. As it was never discussed with me and no options were giving to me, you would think that they would waive these charges as it was their neglect to inform me which caused me to owe this amount. Instead, I was given the option only for payment arrangements, and I am now forced to pay for work that should have never been done in the first place, they should have just pulled the tooth. Had they given me the option to pull it or discussed the problem with me, I could have saved my money and made the choice to have the tooth removed. I am now stuck with this bill and making payments to them for work which should not have been done. I have been unhappy with this office since Dr. Wong retired and the practice was taken over. I will be moving my dental services elsewhere and encourage anyone visiting this dental office to make it clear that no work should be done without first being discussed with you. You would think this is common sense, but apparently it is not.
