I recently had a Metatarsal Implant done by Dr. Patel to relieve the severe pain from osteoarthritis in the big toe of my left foot. I like to walk 5 to 10 km daily, and every step was becoming painful, so I went to Dr. Patel to see what could be done. The operation was over in less than an hour, and check-in to leaving for home was less than 3 hours. Once I returned home, 3 days of keeping the weight on the foot to a minimum, and 3 weeks of elevating whenever possible to control swelling were encouraged. I had my 5 week follow-up today - full mobility in the toe and I'm able to walk 5lm without pain. Dr. Patel is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Patel has done wonders for my feet/ankles. He and his staff are kind and helpful. Appointments are quick and efficient and all concerns are addressed. He is an excellent doctor to have care for your feet!

The doctor was great for getting me my orthotics, and I thought also with the cortisone shot. Turns out that cortisone shot was partly delivered too shallow and I have thinning of the skin around my bunion area. Basically looks like I have aggravated it and the skin is constantly red/purple. I've chosen to go through the public system for my surgery, and this is how I found that out. Months of pain for no reason.

Receptionist is super friendly & efficient. Wasn’t told anything I didn’t already know by the podiatrist. Prescription for anti inflammatory cream that’s not covered under my insurance. Feel like I could have saved myself $45 & just gone back to my GP.

I went to Dr. Patel and gave him a note from my doctor explaining I had chronic pain resulting from a leg length discrepancy. He quickly measured my legs and claimed that I did not have one. He sold me $450 insoles to correct my flat foot. That was last year and after seeing two skeletal and muscular specialists they agree that his insoles were irrelevant and I still need to correct my leg length discrepancy. Dr. Patel rushed me, misdiagnosed me even though I had a paper explaining my condition, and pressured me into buying expensive insoles I did not need.

This is the first time I came into a podiatrist and actually had the doctor scan my feet. Usually a office helper does it at other places I had gone. The care I received was second to none, from the first time I walked in to when I picked up the insoles. Would recommend you check out this clinic.

Dr Patel did surgery on my foot to repair my Mortens Niroma. I am so happy that I chose him for the surgery. The friendly receptionist, the incredible, helpful nurse that assisted at the exceptionally clean clinic that I had my surgery in left me with a great feeling about private surgery. There was no wait time and the follow up was great. Dr Patel is very accessible and concerned. There is not much more you could ask for in a Doctor. Thank you Dr Patel for making me pain free!!

Excellent surgeon and staff, I had been searching for many years to find the right person to correct my severe bunion, WITHOUT PAIN. We travelled from Vancouver Island by car, spending 10 days in Edmonton for the pre-op visit, the surgery and the post-op visit. Dr. Patel's surgery corrected my severe bunion plus the next 3 toes. Pain was minimal as I was told. Follow-up with any questions I had was responded to immediately. Given the severity of my foot prior to the surgery I was running out of options re footwear, now very much looking forward to buying a shoe I want to wear, instead of being limited to the only shoe that would fit my foot. Would highly recommend!!

I first went to Dr Patel when I was 15 and my basketball coach noticed my flat feet. I have been getting my orthotics and other foot care from him since, for 10 years. Him and his staff are friendly and accommodating, and my feet are much happier with him taking care of them!

It was the easiest procedure ever. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Right from the reception at the front door right up to the doctor. The aftercare is exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone. I’d go back for other issues in a heartbeat......????????

My experience with Dr. Patel and the surgery he performed was top notch. He was attentive, efficient and took all the time I needed to answer all the questions that I had (and I had A LOT). He also took the time at my pre-op to calm me when I became very anxious. After surgery he wheeled me out to the car and helped me in and made sure I was comfortable. His staff at all locations were always very friendly and helpful. I am very grateful for the service and the great post surgery results.
