My 13 year old had her wisdom teeth removed this summer at Renew. Dr. Lalh was great and answered all her questions at the consultation, making her feel more at ease about getting the surgery. Surgery day was really straightforward and the staff was great. I would definitely reccomend Dr. Lalh and the clinic for wisdom teeth removal.

wonderful staff, wonderful life experience. Shout out to Dr. Young, thank you so much. Got my two wisdom teeth pulled out three days ago. The appointment time was 7Am, did some paperwork and pay the fee, called in by a nurse around 0730, gave me some pain killer and did my blood pressure, then Doctor came to see me and double checked my panoramic X-ray. After that we went to the surgery room, remove my jacket, laying down, left arm was given IV, right arm hooked with BP machine, some patches stick to my chest to monitor heart rate. I was given a warm blanket and had a good sleep. Woke up in another room around 0845...everything is done so smoothly. Finally went home around 0910...so far resting and recovering well...again Big thank you for everything.

A great experience from start to finish. Dr. Lahl performed a double jaw and sinus surgery on me in January 2014. His staff were very professional and once out of the Royal Alex I was on my way to a long but successful recovery. I no longer have headaches, jaw pain or any other side effects. I am very happy that I went through this 3 year process.

I had a very great experience here. I was referred to Dr. Lalh by my dentist because of a more difficult wisdom teeth extraction. I went in for a consultation and they were very professional and helpful. They followed up well and kept me updating on my upcoming appointment. The surgery day itself was very good. They seemed a bit rushed but I guess that's normal. Dr. Lalh was very kind and quick and his staff is very good as well. The nurses, front desk staff and Anesthesiologist were very great and very professional. The surgery went very well even though it was extremely complicated and I had an easy time healing. The aftercare forms they gave me were very informative. Overall great experience with a very skilled surgeon and no complications whatsoever.

Shoutout to Dr.Lahl and his team. I recently had my 4th surgery with Dr.Lahl and it went well. From the first consultation to the surgery itself, i was provided with important info, all the questions were answered, all the fears addressed. I have been the patient of Dr.Lahl for over 7 years and he is the only one I trust for my dental and oral surgeries!

Rude staff, nurses and dentists included. Did not follow post up, very rude and forcefully put my sister to sleep even though she has claustrophobia and did not give anti-biotics which caused swelling and infection for two week. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t go here !!!!

I went for a free consultation with Dr lahl. What a nice man! I went for a cosmetic concern. Dr. Lahl was very kind. He looked me in the eye. He explained everything very well and told me I had a beautiful smile comparing it to Julia Robert's. He did not recommend the procedure I was interested in. The ladies working there were all lovely, warm and efficient.

I forgot to write a review after my son's tooth removal surgery earlier this year. Dr.Yeung was very professional and nice throughout the process, even though I was being an overreacting mom that was filled with fear and overthinking. They addressed all my concerns before and after the procedure. Dr. Yeung called to check on my son a few days after the surgery as well. I am very appreciative for all the staff in this office.

4 wisdom teeth out January of this year, impacted teeth so very difficult to remove. I glad I went to Dr Lahl. Woke up after surgery and had pain killers for about a week and was back to normal after about 2 weeks. Very CLEAN inside and friendly and knowledgable staff as well. Thank you!

My daughter was referred by the dentist for wisdom teeth. The front end ladies who take calls and inquiries and send out appointments for procedures are not friendly, not very helpful and very short over the phone. They could use a course on customer service. My daughter told them how nervous she was and the staff was curt and not very reassuring. Waited for 2 hours for her appointment just to go in. It was not pleasant experience from the phone call to make the appiintment to the procedure, i wouldn't refer this place based on support staff alone.

Came here to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. I was super nervous and stressed out about going under. Ladies at the front desk were super nice and welcoming. All the nurses made me feel at ease and answered any questions/concerns that I had. Dr. Lahl was very nice and welcoming, again answered all my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is nervous about getting their wisdom teeth out, it was a very pleasant experience.

Had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday (July 2nd) and all the staff were amazing. Dr. Lahl did an excellent job with my surgery and was very personable, gentle and friendly. Dr. Snider did amazing with the anesthesia as well. All front desk staff and nurses were very knowledgeable and super nice. No issues at this office and would 10/10 recommend to my friends who need their wisdom teeth done.

I had a wonderful experience at renew with Dr. Lahl and his team. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in January 2021, including 2 that were impacted. The pre-op appointment was very informative and eased any concerns I had. The day of the surgery was very organized. I arrived at 730 am. In the back by 745. In surgery around 8, next thing I know I’m waking up and on my way home just after 9. The recovery was very manageable and the staff were accessible when I had any questions about my recovery. Thank you!

My daughter had her oral surgery today and had a lot of work done. From the moment we entered the building we were greatly by the receptionists that were so kind to my daughter and I. Right away my daughters nervousness relaxed and we both then checked in with the head Nurse and Dr. L. Both fantastic at answering our questions and she was then sent for her surgery. I can’t say enough how kind and caring all the staff were. Exceptional care my daughter received. We received a follow up call the same day to see how my daughter was doing. That alone was excellent service and shows they truly care about there patients. This place is excellent, well run, clean and on top of things. All staff are Hard working, caring individuals that truly care. Thank you all.

I had such a bad experience with Kingsway oral surgery that I thought I needed to write a review of how wonderful this place is in comparison. All staff I was in contact with were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They gave me all the information I needed to know without me having to ask a million questions. It made a stressful experience like a minor surgery feel much easier.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out 3 days ago and this clinic made me feel so comfortable. The reception was very nice and answered any and all questions that I had. I was first approached by one of there staff who took my weight, blood pressure, heart rate and then some x-rays. She then guided me into a room and ensured all the information on my wrist band was correct. After this I was approached by the oral surgeon who looked inside my mouth and explained the procedure to me and offered for me to either get numbed or to go under general anesthesia. When he left, another member of there staff came in and gave me some medicine to prepare for the surgery and then I went back into the waiting room. About the 5 minutes later they called me and I went into the surgery room and all the staff were very nice and explained to me what was happening before I went under general anesthesia. About an hour later I woke up and there was 3 nurses in the room and they kept checking in to see how I was doing. Afterwards they explained the post surgery care and some prescriptions and I was sent home. They called the next day to see how I was doing and to answer any questions. I highly recommend this place, they made this experience a lot more comfortable than I was anticipating.

This was the biggest waste of my time and the person who I had waiting for me also. They told me to be here for 10:45am and it’s now 1pm still haven’t had my procedure.

Jaci Stewart

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here and the whole team made the experience a lot less scary and a lot more comfortable. The front staff, the nurses and Dr Lahl were friendly and relaxed and completely professional. The recovery nurses take the time to explain all the after care and ensure you understand. Even after you leave the team is easily available to contact if you have any questions. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know who needs oral surgery. Thanks for everything!

This experience was absolutely out of this world. The surgery was smooth, on time and the recovery room experience was AMAZING! First Dr Lalh took on a surgery that two dentist had declined. He explained everything to me including all the complications. Took every precaution by getting know my health and having my doctor to a pre chexk up. I was called twice to do all the things for pre surgery and reminding me of all precautions. The front desk girls were welcoming and joked with me about a few things releasing my nervousness. The surgery was on time. Recovery room was a wonder. And the nurse took care of me even putting my coat even though my family was there and made sure everyone got instructions for the prescription Cherry on the cake. Getting a call from Dr Lakh asking me how I am doing and giving me some further tips after assessing my current recovery! Who does that! Now a days doctors take money even for looking at you for a sec! That experience rocked! Recommend highly

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthesia. The staff were friendly and helpful before, during, and after the process. They took the time to call me after the surgery and make sure everything was okay and to see if I had any questions. About a week later and I'm nearly back to 100%.

This place is the worst place ever! treatment was very awful and unprofessional. staff were very rude. The wait times, delays, mistakes after another. All they care about is your money. Wouldnt recommend this place for anyone!

A number of years ago I severely broke my jaw from unexpectedly fainting. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Lalh in emergency and have him perform my surgery. Due to the severity of my break, Dr. Lalh recommended I see a surgeon in Toronto to have joint prosthetics put in my jaw. Dr. Lalh was extremely compassionate, kind-hearted, and transparent while guiding me through my situation. He did everything possible to ensure the best outcome for me given my situation and I am very happy with how he advised me to proceed with my health. Dr. Lalh has continued to care for me while going through the process of having surgery in Toronto. He is very sympathetic and understanding and I feel privileged to have him as one of my medical professionals.

Can’t even get a call back within a week with calling into the office at least twice. my case was referred to them as 2 other dentists considered my jaw problems to complex to handle, but I was told I would have to wait till 2023 to see anyone. If you’re in any actual pain please don’t go here as you will be stuck waiting for over a year

The reason it's not one star is because Dr. Lalh and all the staff who assisted in my surgery were amazing and helped minimize my fears as much as possible. However I am not happy at all with the followup care and lack of concern I received when I did have a bad complication. I just got to Red Deer by greyhound, on the Friday night of this thanksgiving weekend (to see my family), when a very sharp pain occured, and when I looked in the bathroom mirror i could see my gum tissue torn away from my healthy molar right next to the incision site, exposing the roots. It hurt so much and looked really awful. It was close to midnight on a Friday of a long weekend, I had no vehicle and I was in an unfamiliar town and I was horrified, I though I was going to lose my tooth. I was crying when I called the 24 hour number Renew gave me. The receptionist who answered acted very compassionate and she said the on call doctor would get back to me immediately. I waited up until 3 am and no one called me back. No one called me back all weekend. I went to an emergency dentist in Red Deer on the Saturday and got fixed up. Now, I understand that Renew was probably not in a position to physically treat my tooth on a long weekend. But just a call back to give me some advice and reassure me that i wasn't going to lose my tooth would have sufficed. I was on the fence about writing this review, but a different receptionist called me today as a routine followup and i felt she was denying my story. Instead of apologizing for not getting my message she told me she saw nothing in my file that I had called at all. She said that Three Times before finally saying that they use a different company for after hours calls and she would talk to her manager. But I felt like she was just passing on the blame and didn't once show compassion for what I went through. She was defensive the whole time. Well, Renew, this is your number that I called so if you're you are going to claim to be available 24 hours for emergencies then you need to own up to that claim.

If you are looking to get a simple corrective procedure done like a tongue tie correction, I STRONGLY advise you look elsewhere. The doctor will dismiss your symptoms, will not believe you, and will send you somewhere else. Don’t waste your time here. If I could give zero stars, I would. The front ladies were nice enough though, so they get the lone star.

Sam

Dr. Lall's office and staff were very rude and even racist at certain points. Overall my experience at the clinic was horrible and traumatizing. With the addition of their lack of information being provided to the patients, they were also judging their ability to pay the total sum. I would not recommend their office to any of my family and/or friends.

A horrible and distressing experience here. Went for wisdom teeth surgery and waited for 3 hours before even getting in. I was very anxious about going under as this was my first time getting surgery and not once did I feel comforted. I was most nervous about going under anesthesia, however, many of my friends and others I talked to told me their experiences else where and stated they would do a good job and make me count down or tell me what to expect. In my case, as I was laying on the table, the Anaesthesiologist came in the room still chewing his food in his mouth very unprofessionally and did not introduce his role to me, so at one point I had thought my surgeon was switched to him. He then proceeded to tell me they were just going to give me some oxygen, which I thought was just that. Until it tasted weird and I realized they were putting me under. NO warning, NO count down, NO explanation to what was going on and he completely lied to me. This led to me having a panic attack and the next thing I am waking up in a different room. I woke up crying and very upset from all the confusion and and I felt like I hadn’t received the care I should of. The nurse kept on saying “you the know the doctor did this to you right” in response to some of my questions which was frustrating because NO I DID NOT KNOW, as no one took the time to explain these things they would be doing such as putting a tube up my nose. Through the entire experience, I felt like I was being rushed through the door as a quick as possible. Not once did I feel someone took the time to check in with me, see how I was feeling about the surgery or in my case how I felt about going under, or properly explain what they would be doing. The front end was equally disappointing in their organization from the start to finish. Dr. Young was the only positive thing to my experience as he did a great job at taking my wisdom teeth out and I recovered quickly. However, due to the rest of the providers I would never go back or refer anyone else here. This clinic truly should be educated on what person-centred care is as I received absolutely none.

Screwyou Knope

Dr. Lalh did my wisdom teeth surgery and I couldn't be happier. I have a low pain tolerance and general fear of pain, and my comfort was treated with the utmost of importance. The clinic offered me a choice in anesthesia (full or local), and I went with full. They put me to sleep, I woke up an hour later without my wisdom teeth, and my jaw was frozen for the remainder of the day giving me time to fill my prescriptions. They managed my pain well, and at no point was the pain unbearable. The surgery was clean, professional, and I'm healing properly. 1 week later I still have a dull ache in the area, but it's no worse than the aching the wisdom teeth caused before getting them removed. I would recommend Dr. Lalh to anyone.

Brandy Rollins

Couldn't agree more with the comment about front end staff. Dr. Lahl was wonderful. The front end was beyond terrible. If this wasn't a time sensitive issue for my child I would have NEVER proceeded. Not simply unhelpful (which she absolutely was) but directly rude and intrusive, multiple times. I told her after the 3rd time that I was shocked by the way she was addressing myself/our family, and that she was making comments that were WAY out of line. Absolutley terrible. She made a frightening situation (anesthetic/surgery for our 7 year old) so much more distressing. Once we were able to have the actual surgery, the experience was great. From the moment my son was in the surgical room to when we brought him out of recovery, excellent care. Unfortunatley I had to continue to deal with this staff member for issues of billing/insurance (which 3 months later are still not resolved due to incorrect information being entered by Renew).

Kaitlyn French

Surgeon was fantastic and really nice. Nurses were pushy and not patient at all after surgery was done. Anesthesiologist was rude and gave no warning of when the needle was put in.
