Dr. Daviduck has been my physician for over 10 years now. He is thorough, caring & I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
Nearly two years of Excellent service. Looking forward to their new location. Update: Dr. Munsamy continues to provide excellent, caring service. He takes the time to be very familiar with my chart before coming in, and to listen to my concerns. Very professional, but also very humanitarian.
Dr. Rey-Parra is an excellent physician, however. They tell you to come 5 minutes early for the appointment, but multiple times I have left waiting for almost 2 hours for my appointment, which sucks when you have to take time off for work, just to spend the whole time sitting in a Doctors office not knowing anything.
Dr. Rajoo has a terrible bedside manner. He is abrasive and insensitive to his patients feelings. I have experienced this with him repeatedly, and it's unfortunately become the norm. Every time I see him, he fails to acknowledge my symptoms and or progress I have made in resolving said symptoms. Instead he continuously points out what is wrong with me and trys to guilt me about the decisions and choices I have made about my health. I don't appreciate the judgement and lack of support about my choices. After all, it is my health, my body and my life. As a healthcare practitioner it is his JOB to care for his patients with unbiased support and guidance and I can honestly say that Dr. Rajoo has failed in this. As for his staff, they have always been warm and inviting. They make the dreaded doctors visits a little bit better with their kind and caring attitudes. For that, I thank you.
Dr. Elwadly is just incredibly useless. Trying to get a prescription refilled has been such a nightmare that the advice from reception was to literally find another doctor. I'm dumbfounded by the level of incompetence on display by these supposed professionals. On advice by an actual employee of this establishment I will absolutley be finding an actually competent doctor. I suppose there has to be someone at the bottom of the group of people who graduate med school. We've found them, right here. 0/10
You would think that after 20+ years in the profession, someone like Dr. Roque(who came highly recommended), would have developed bedside manner that suits his patients. I find him to be arrogant, poorly mannered and lacking the primary social and cognitive skills required of a family physician. He refused to help me with sleeping related to my PTSD from the military. He made numerous comments about the extra cost of getting a form filled out. He acted almost as if I could not afford it. He disrespected me in front of my children and treated me as if i had a gr. 8 education. He questioned almost every topic that I brought up. Honestly in all my years I have never felt worse about myself then I do today. I have spoken with the Alberta college of physicians where I will be filing a formal complaint. I plan on speaking with a lawyer to seek legal action against him. With that being said the support staff at the clinic are incredible. They dealt with the situation professionally and were more than accommodating to find a new family doctor for my crew. I'm sick that this is the level of care we recieve in a great city like St. Albert.
Dr. Kurian and his people are nice people with a clean clinic. However, Dr Kurian spent all of 5 minutes with me to talk about my hair loss problem. Then he sent his assistant in to try and sell me on expensive hair growth products- which are actually available for cheaper elsewhere. Also, whoever designed that part of St Albert did a terrible job. The signage is really bad and I drove by several times before I found my building.
We see Dr. Roque, he is amazing as a Dr and is very professional. He listens to your concerns, treats the issues and is sure to check in. The only issue that we have with the clinic is the complete inconvenience of calling and having someone answer the phone since they don't accept voicemails. 5 times to contact the office and being told that 'reception is busy...' then to have complete attitude and disrespect from reception is beyond unacceptable.
I'm a patient of Dr Munsamy. He is cheery and professional but not patronizing or arrogant. He is quick to assess medical treatment yet doesn't make me feel like I'm being shoved out the door. I can't remember ever liking my past GP but I do like this doctor. The receptionists are polite and efficient. It is easy to get in to see my doctor when they are open later and on the weekends.
This review is for the office of Dr. Rajoo (I want to make this clear because this medical clinic have 2 separate offices. I'm only seeing Dr. Rajoo because my family doctor is on mat leave (Dr. Pandey). Recently I booked my son in for some health concerns and he was sent for bloodwork and then got referred to a pediatrician. Dr. Rajoo then requested for my son to get an abdominal xray which we did right away. Called the clinic few days after the xray to ask if I have to book a phone or physical appointment. Receptionist I spoke to initially said physical appointment is what they're booking him for which I booked. Got there on time and of course the almost hour wait is kind of expected. However what we didn't expect is when the doctor finally went inside the room, the main reason of why we were there was not addressed (discuss xray result). Called the clinic (I was at work when it happened and my better half took our son in) and asked why the main reason of the visit was not addressed. The receptionist advised me to book a phone consult on Sunday with Dr. Rajoo to which I questioned as to why (considering all interactions with the doctor is billed thru AHS) and the receptionist was very rude as to she doesn't know why it was not discussed as she's not the doctor. I requested to speak to Dr. Rajoo as I don't want today's visit to be put to waste (which it already was) but she insisted that I book a phone consult for Sunday. I said to the receptionist ok call me with the # we have on file and she wanted me to tell her my number again to which I answered my number is on the file and then she hung up. If medical offices put up a sign that they do not tolerate rude behavior towards their staff, maybe the staff should get off their high horses and deal with their patients PROFESSIONALLY and not sarcastically . I worked in the medical clinic previously and this is uncalled for and directly rude. I've already filed a complaint to the patient relations at AHS.
Dr.Rey Parra is amazing though shes very busy she make sure all patient's concerns was treated correctly. And also I would like to commend her receptionist Norimina who is very patient, professional andshe really knows her job well. This clinic should hire more people like her.
Dr. Meghna Juta has been my family doctor for years. I will follow her where ever she will go. She always listens to my concerns and doesn't make me feel like I'm just another patient. I know her time is very important and trust her valued opinions.
I had made an appointment on a Tuesday 8:00 am. The receptionist that booked me never mentioned that this was outside of their regular work hours. I showed up at 7:40 am, everything was closed so I waited a little. Online says they open at 9:00 am and their lobby says 8:30 am so I thought they made a mistake while booking me. I called office, left a voicemail and left. They called me back to re-schedule on Friday 8:00. They called AGAIN afterwards to say I was going to have to pay $80 because I didn't show up to my first appointment. When I said I refused to pay that (because they should inform their patients of odd timed appointments) they said "ok, we'll see what the doctor says on Friday". On Friday, I explained myself to Dr. Anil Kurianand (Dermatology) he refused to see me because I wouldn't pay the $80. I DO NOT recommend this place!
Dr Munsamy has been our Family Dr for coming up on 4 years, after moving out here we were terrified about being able to find a good Dr, we were so amazingly blessed when we were connected with Dr Munsamy and his Office Staff. Dr Munsamy is so patient, really listens and is extremely knowledgeable with a wonderful sense of humour to top it all off, we couldn’t have asked for anyone any better. His Office Staff are always friendly and go the extra mile to assist you with getting your appointments or any of your other needs.
Dr Rey Parra is a great professional but, she is always on holidays, when she is at the office she arrives always late, my appointment is at 11:15am it is 10:55am and I still have 6 people before me. That is so rude, where is the respect to the patients?? Beside this, Normina the secretary it’s the only one who is well educated, the office is clean, for those 2 point I rate this place with 2 stars
My pharmacy faxed 2 weeks ago a Rx refill for Dr Juliana for a medication that i have been taking for 8 years and has not hear back from them. When i called them around 20 times i cant get thru. I have left previously many messages for Dr Juliana and never heard back from her or her assistant. I dialed another extension number and this other assistant transferred me to her assistant which hanged up on me as soon as i talked. I kept calling i can't get thru and I'm out of my blood pressure medication. This is not the first time I have this situation with them. I guess is time to find a new caring dr.
Hated it! In and out in about 3 minutes. They do not do confirmation calls! So if you're a super busy person and rely on confirmation calls incase you've forgotten, don't go here because for a missed appointment Thry charge you 50.00 no warning either!
Dr Munsamy is amazing. He’s understanding and both empathetic and sympathetic to my needs. After 3 years I finally found a competent and caring family doctor!
Dr Mbounu Is An Amazing Dr.
I have been very disappointed with the medical care received through this clinic. I have had the physician write prescriptions based on bloodwork results obtained 2 visits prior showing that they are not addressed in a timely matter, or even at the next visit for that matter. I feel like issues are easily overlooked and the care is not thorough. In addition when visiting the clinic during covid the receptionist put on a clean pair of gloves and proceeded to touch his face prior to completing my blood pressure check.
Unprofessional and really hard to get an appointment.
Dr Mbounu is the most disrespectful doctor I have ever been to!! She did not respect any of my decisions and was very condescending of my age (19) kept referring to me as “a girl like you” when I refused to take birth control because it doesn’t work well with my hormones which I previously had explained. If you’re looking for a doctor who cares about helping you and has bedside manner this is not the place.
Great location and great staff.
It's 8:09a.m and they say they open at 8:00 Very unprofessional as I am very busy and can't wait around for someone to open whenever they feel like it. That being said dr. Morrison met me outside and brought me in
Great clinic once you get through the inexplicable 10 minute holds which have been a consistent problem since they opened a half decade ago. I can help you supergeniuses set up a functional phone system if you want.
Great doctors, but no family friendly washrooms with change tables. This makes it very uncomfortable to tend to my children when a diaper change is required. Please address this for your patrons as it should be a standard given the nature of a family doctors office
While the clinic and staff themselves are amazing (I see Dr. Kurian and he's awesome!) It takes a VERY long time to get through and they do not accept voicemails. Each and everytime I call I have to call 5 or 6 times to reach anyone! It is quite annoying.
I have been trying to get through to Dr Rey-Parra’s office for 3 weeks. I phone as soon as the office is open. Each time after i go through the automated messge, i am on hold. I have been on hold from 45 minutes to an hour each time and have ended up with each of my calls being disconnected. Ultimate Frustration ! I won’t be back !!
Always great service
Clinic is always very clean, very organized set up. Dr. Rey-Perra is very friendly, willing to work with my "health plan" as opposed to just telling me what to do. She does a good job in little time which is nice if you have a busy schedule. Only I do have to take time off work to see her as her hours aren't very accommodating. Other than that I do enjoy having her as my doctor!
Dr munsamy is a nice guy but as a doctor who is well trained and is well paid he puts no effort into medical paperwork nor will inform you if you ask for the incorrect information patients are not doctors so why do i have to tell you about your job you should already know documentation for sleep apnea for liscense is not a note
Dr. kurian was nice but he didn’t even spend 5 min with me although I had many problems not only one... I had to call him back to discuss the other problems but still the time he gave me was NOT enough. At the end I walked out with an expensive product from his clinic and prescription medicines for more than $300. Had a bad experience looking at the time I had to wait to get the appointment and the time I had to wait in the clinic before he saw me.
