I am so impressed with Green Grove Dental, Dr. Jeffreys and staff. The practice is state of the art, light and overall welcoming. Dr. Jeffreys explained everything in detail regarding the procedure and was very happy to answer all my questions. Staff was amazing, I was kept up to date with texts, and everything was done electronically which was a great change from my previous dentist experience with another dental practice. I would highly recommend Green Grove Dental.

Dr. Shewchuk has been my dentist for over 3 years, all my family goes to him(and we love him). Sadly since they are at the new clinic every single time I call to make an appointment with him his front staff book me with someone else. Even though I have made my self clear that I want to see him. Nothing personal but he is my dentist period.

Modern, very clean facility. Dentist was both professional and had a sense of humor. While eating popcorn I had a tooth that not only lost its filling but had pushed down in between itself and the tooth next to it and the swelling had started almost immediately. My wife had called around for me to try get me an appointment and antibiotics/pain killers. The dentist took my wife's call and had faxed off the prescription to the pharmacy of her choice and made an appointment for me 8 days later. Fastforward a week and the swelling had almost completely subsided. Dr Jefferys realized I was a bit on the nervous side and very clearly laid out my options and what he thought was the best option. In this case I went with the root canal. In my 45 years I don't think I've been this comfortable in the dentists office. Especially since this was my first root canal. You hear the horror stories and jokes made about root canals, but I had a very pain free experience. The whole way the dentist was explaining what he was doing and was making sure my comfort level was acceptable. I definately have a new dentist for the future and would highly recommend Green Grove Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist in the St. Albert area. We appreatiate that Dr. Jeffreys called us back quickly and I was able to almost immediately feel relief.

I recently moved and therefore chose to switch my dentist to Green Grove since it’s closer to my home. I visited this morning for the first time and had a wonderful experience. My hygienist was SO sweet and answered all of my questions and concerns. Dr Smith was also very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I had some aesthetic concerns and we talked about my options and he is carving some time out at my next visit so that we can dig deeper and choose the right path for me. Great experience with Green Grove Dental. Reception was very welcoming upon arrival rival. The office itself is very nice and modern. The dental hygienist was very friendly, thorough and helpful in offering advice and suggestions for better dental care(without being judgmental). The Dentist answered all my questions and walked me through areas of concern and offered short and long term recommendations and advice. Reception was great in explaining the billing and what was covered by my plan, confirming next appointment etc. Very happy with my experience and would recommend Green Grove to anyone looking for a dentist in the St.Albert area.

I find it odd that Green Grove has only 5-star ratings. My extended family and I were patients of Dr. Shewchuk for over 40 years. When Dr. Harmeet Dhaliwal took over his practice we all continued with her and Green Grove. She fast proved herself incompetent. In Dec 2019 she messed up two fillings for me. She did permanent damage around the same time to my nephew's tooth and messed up a crown with my niece. Did poor dental work with my sister-in-law and both my parents. We are all happy to have found new dentists, not at Green Grove.

I am horribly terrified of the dentist which prevented me from going for a very long time, they offer Iv sedation which was great for me.. they were very reassuring and really care about making you feel comfortable and at ease before and during the procedure. Long standing white coat syndrome patient transferred to Green Grove Dental following the retirement of a much revered dentist in our community. Over the past two months needed some crown work for myself and a surprise emergency baby tooth extraction appointment for my young daughter whose never even had a cavity! Both appointments went extremely well, excellent care! Dr Smith and Dr Jefferies were very gentle, thorough, explained the work carefully and the technology in the clinic is amazing. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and definitely put you at ease. Highly recommend - especially if you’re a slightly nervous patient or perhaps a Mom worried about more complicated procedures for the young ones! Thank you Green Grove, we’ll be back!

As a long time patient of Dr. Shewchuk from my childhood years to adult (40+ years), I was saddened when he retired. However, when he retired I thought I’d give the new dentists a try. I’m sure glad I did! Dr. Cody Smith is a truly a fantastic dentist. He’s very thorough and explains things in detail. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the friendly reception staff, you know you’ll be looked after. The hygienists are extremely professional and knowledgeable. The staff take pride in what they do and strive to make your dentist visit an experience versus an appointment nobody looks forward to. The dental office is extremely clean and modern and they use the latest dentistry techniques that are a lot less invasive than the “old school” methods. I highly recommend Green Grove Dental!

Update: I’ve gone a few more times since my initial visit to Green Grove last year. Still impressed with how prompt and kind the staff are here. Office is well-kept and clean :) I had my first appointment at Green Grove for a check up and cleaning. Dr. Smith, the hygienist, and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and were super gentle and thoughtful during the cleaning. The office is very clean and tastefully decorated. They coordinated payment with my insurance (direct billing) easily. I also appreciated that the forms, background info were all completed pre-appointment, so that my time at the clinic was more efficient.

My name is Mark: Recently my long time dentist had retired leaving me with new owners to his practice. I felt this might be the time to move on and find a new practice.I spoke to friends and family and they told me about Green Grove Dental. They had good experiences there. My experience was great.I phoned the morning of may 17 with some issues. Within two hours I was sitting in the dentist chair. The Ladies in the front end of the office where very professional and helped me with all the required paperwork that goes with attending a new practice. They where polite and incredibly fun to deal with. The dental assistant was knowledgeable and did everything in her power to make the patient feel comfortable (unfortunately I do not remember her name). The actual Dentist (Dr Jefferies)was very professional and really knowledgeable about every issue that I was having. He took care of all my issues that required immediate attention and rebooked me for issues that could be attended to at a later date. I walked out of the dentist office feeling 100%. Dr Jefferies and his dental assistant worked like a fine tuned machine. I will absolutely refer this practice to any one I know and would give them a 10 star rating if I could. Thanks all keep up the great work.

Nice front staff, hygenists and dentist. Every 6 months i get my teeth cleaned and they come out nice. I dont have any experience with any dental surgery or other procedures so i cant really vouch for them in that aspect, but overall its a decent place to get your teeth cleaned

I would definitely recommend Green Grove Dental. Dr Cody Smith is a great dentist and every staff member there really does their part to make you feel comfortable. I recall the receptionist Karen being extremely helpful in answering any and all of my questions. I am not the biggest fan of getting dental work done and I don’t do well with needles at all. However, everyone working there did their part to make the experience of getting my wisdom teeth out much better than I could have imagined.

Really disappointed with the business practice since it changed hands. They continue to push thousands of dollars of work on us after we already discussed that we didn’t need it yet with the dentist. They’ve also charged full appointments for two toddlers that the dentist didn’t even actually see, which I guess is business practice, but just compounded the feeling of them finding and charging for anything and everything they could. There’s a big difference between ‘could get this done’ and ‘should get this done.’ We’ve been called on at least six different occasions about our ‘old’ but still functioning fillings. Looking for a new dentist this week. Enough is enough.
