This is a business that is truly people oriented! All the staff are friendly and helpful! What I appreciate is they take the time to explain what they are doing and why. The whole visit was a pleasure and I must say completely painless! I remember dentists advertising that they practiced painless dentistry years ago, but today that was my whole experience. I did not even feel the needle that was used to put in the freezing!

Dr Alice and her assistant, Merissa, are wonderful. They are very approachable and easy to talk to, and will do their best to put you at ease while you are at their dental office. I actually enjoy going to the dentist and followed Dr. Alice from her previous clinic! The new clinic is very clean and comfortable!

My husband, my two children and I are Dr Alice’s patients since 2016, and have only excellent comments about her. She is very competent, professional, transparent, and kind. I used to be very scared of dental visits and she definitely restored my faith in dentist. Dental Wellness Centre is extremely clean and modern, and her staff gives off a family type atmosphere that makes you feel always welcomed. They truly make dental visits a pleasurable experience. I am impressed with how much my children (5 and 11 years old) enjoy going to the clinic. They leave the clinic looking forward to the next visit with Dr Alice and their hygienist Merissa, who is very competent and the kindest person I have ever met. Since Dr Alice opened her clinic, Melanie has been taking care of my husband’s and my teeth hygiene and we completely agree that she is absolutely the best hygienist we have ever had. Gemma is also very kind, professional, and efficient and patient dealing with our paper work and accommodating our appointments. I strongly recommend Dental Wellness Centre in St Albert and I would rate it a 10 stars plus.

Great with Kids! I brought my daughter to the Dental Wellness Centre of St. Albert because she had white patches all over her teeth. Her regular dentist had assured me that this was normal, but I had read that white patches could indicate the beginnings of cavities. I didn't understand why he was so unconcerned, and he didn't seem interested in explaining. Dr. Mijatovic was the exact opposite. She took the time to explain various reasons why teeth could develop white patches (in my daughter's case, likely the result of antibiotics when she was a baby). She explained that the placement of the patches would have been different for the beginnings of rot - in the wells of the teeth, or in between, rather than just on the fronts and peaks. She really put my mind at ease. Her hygienist was lovely as well, and obviously loved kids, and my daughter felt really safe there. I would definitely recommend her practice to anyone with kids, or to anyone who wants to understand the reasons for things, rather than just being patted on the head.

Yesterday I went for a check-up and cleaning, as a new patient. I had called to inquire how much it would cost to have a check-up and cleaning done with no insurance coverage since I am retired. My previous dentist and hygienist recently retired. After a long conversation with the receptionist, I was told after X-rays, check-up and cleaning, it would be $380. I made my appointment and had the work done. When I went to pay I was told my bill was $600. I was totally shocked, and said when I called to make the appointment I was told $380. The receptionist, seeing my dismay said she would give me the seniors rate of 10% off. Even with the 10% off it was far more than I was quoted so I am very disappointed with my experience.

Dental Wellness Centre has Super Friendly Staff. They are Very Professional, & Knowledgeable. I only can say amazing things about this Dental office. I have had so many bad experiences at dental offices that I get extreme anxiety when I go. Everyone at this dental office is super friendly and tell me exactly what they are doing so my anxiety level is reduced and always asking me if I need a break. I have a great visit every time I go. I like that they don’t just jump to doing things. They give you all the options and only do things that are needed. They care so much about there patients. I highly recommend that you try them.
