Place is great, the workers I'm sure r not being paid enough for what they do, other then that, it's the best Save Ons in the city in my books.
I find there more meat+fish+pork than other places
Great produce, meat and seafood. Well organized, clean and fabulous customer service. The pharmacists are fantastic.
Just your average Save-On-Foods. Nothing stands out really. The shelves were nicely stocked but the amount of cashiers they had on was surprisingly low.
Cheaper than the average grocery chain store's. Can find more than regular groceries such as an entire aisle for organics & special gifts. Price tags tend to get confusing for Membership Discount due to having to redeem points. Carts are not brought in so be sure to grab 1 on the way in
Good selection (for the size it is). Always AMAZING customer service! Tills always open and running, someone always around to help, very knowledgeable staff. Love coming here!
Disgusting food handling practice here, stay away for your health! I accidentally knocked one of the bulk scoops onto the ground, there was an employee who saw me do it about 10 feet away. I picked up the now filthy scoop, said sorry to the employee and handed it to him so it could be washed, he took it and put it right back INTO the bulk bin! I demanded to speak with a manager, the gm came out and said it's not the employees fault, he's slow. I received a half hearted and very sarcastic apology, no offer of anything to make it better. What a garbage store.
Stood in line for over half an hour only had 2 tills open on a Sunday lines wrapped throughout the store
It is smaller than most Save on Foods. I found their Gluten Free section VERY lacking.
Price is slightly higher than other stores, but it is also the closest in the area. Got some variety of food despite to be a small store
Is very expensive and just use it like I would a 7 11 for small things like eggs or milk. Most staff is friendly but are a couple of cashiers that are rude and rather stand in line than go to there till. Was there again Sunday Aug 27 Is a cashier named Cindy who has got to be 1 of the worst ever she has 0 customer service skills and is like she is doing a favor by serving you there is a new mini mart across the street and will go there instead
I enjoy shopping here for things I need at the moment. It also has a decent grocery section and premade meals section. The staff are super friendly, helpful and always are professional if asked a question.
I found things I never knew I needed. A little boujee and overpriced but really well stocked and has a great selection. Why have I not been here more?! Ps: try the Popeyes Mac and Cheese from the deli. Drool.
I would never shop here for a full load of groceries for how over marked their prices are... hey thanks for the discount when everything is way overpriced! But I just had some awesome service from a lady named Cindy who saw me, let me in on her closed till when she was obviously finishing her shift, and went way above after that to make me feel nice when going home. Will go again because of people like her.
Love the produce. Staff at the Stadium Save on food's are always helpful.
Love safe on foods, they have awesome ethically derived meat, free run and for a good price too. Shop here everyone!
I like the bakery super tasty little pies and goodies that they bake and thier cold pastas at the salad bar are really delicious and kinda cheap
They have a good selection and nice staff. It gets quite busy in the afternoon around 4pm and into the evening.
I was so glad they did away with the shopping carts that needed a quarter to unlock. It totally simplified everything from the start. The staff were friendly and welcoming and asked me if I needed any help. On checkout the cashier smiled and asked me how I was. She was very efficient with packing my groceries and once again smiled and made eye contact with me when returning the change and receipt. I will definitely be returning to shop there!
line up all the way along 2 full walls like huge line, length of the store, corner in the line, and one more length of the store line up.. literally.. and someone cut in line twice so didnt buy anything out it all back and walked out. wont ever go back.
Great store. Super clean. Great service.
Great selection, great value and great staff. First visit to this location and very happy I did. All staff were adhering to the Covid-19 protocols which was very comforting to see. Look forward to many return visits.
Prices are crazy unless on sale.
Absolutely no customer service, LONG cashier lines, no organization. Called into the store the day after for supplies and the Manager was not interested in helping with pickup service online (was not working), no desire to help my mom (who is not good at english) gather the items I needed (I am not able to go to the store myself) through either online or in store. He was very short with me. What an annoyance.
Long line ups little more expensive than the competition. And you got to be carefully go through the produce to get the quality stuff
25 asks and 25 glowing reviews! The people who work here are truly above and beyond! I will be returning maybe next week or sooner.
Great food store, fresh foods, fresh produce, cold frozen section, great people, even greater staff. Highly recommend this place to others. Would go back in a second!
Mid-afternoon on a weekend I went to get blueberries and bananas. However the lineup for the tills stretched all the way to the back of the store and around the corner. I had to put my items back and leave the store because I did not have the time to waste in such a long line. Staff your store properly and put people on all the tills!
Best place to shop at
UPDATE: Still no self checkout... I usually skip this location and drive the extra 6 blocks to Safeway who have kindly provided self checkout. I don't know how many times I've waited at the 1 open cashier for 10 minutes to purchase the 1 item I ran in for. Save-on-Foods should do us the courtesy of installing self-checkout. The manager implied to me some time ago that people in the neighborhood are too stupid (or thieves) to use them but Safeway up the road seems to be doing fine.
They have a wide selection of cheeses and the store in general is very well stocked. My son drinks lactose free milk and in this store I can find the gallon at a very good price. The preventive measures against covid-19 are excellent. Besides I can constantly get free products online. Thank you very much for your good service.
Our local Save-On here in the Stadium area. Love this grocery store. Always keep an eye on the deals you get with the membership card, because they're hard to beat elsewhere. They soometimes don't have the broadest selection, but I generally don't have any problems finding things unless it's obscure or off-brand.
So expensive for very poor quality items. But since there is nothing else close to stadium area I. Forced to spend what little money I can afford to shop here. But staff are always polite non judgmental and quick to shoot ya a smile and quick assistance all-though the bulk bins are disgusting and desperately need cleaning.
I have been buying my groceries at this store for over a decade, and the staff have always been friendly and polite. I have never had an issue with this store or it's staff the entire time I have shopped there. The people are great the food is fresh. Go check it out!
It's not a huge store, but they have the vast majority of everything you could reasonably want. Very impressed with the signage about social distancing throughout, the presence of hand wipes at the door and the manager aiding people with maintaining safe distances while in line. I know not all stores are putting in plexiglass barriers for their clerks, but this save-on HAS done so and I commend them. For the sake of the clerks, I wish it was a bit bigger, when a customer stands at the interac pay pad, there is less than two feet between the clerk and someones sneezes. They have no protection for that part of the interaction.
I've got to be honest here when I say Save on foods has the highest prices I've ever seen. $6.99 for a 12 pack of seasonal cranberry ginger ale is insane. They're half the price at Wal Mart but that's just one example. If this place had competitive pricing or be right on!
The staff are great . extremely helpful. Knowledgeable.
It's one of the smaller Save-ons foods but they are still very well stocked, have lots of good things to chose from and the friendliest staff on the planet. They can also boast about good Pharmacists and a bulk food section with lots of variety. Their own in house brand is called, Western Family and they are all quality products, reasonably priced that I often choose over more well know brands. Also, an ATM machine lodged behind the in-door and a great deli & bakery section.
Service at this location is incredible. I eat a lot of fish and this gentleman always knows what is fresh and consistently has recommendations. I often leave with new items to try because of his knowledge. If he is not around, their display is pristine and easy to shop. Everything looks fresh and clean. The staff at the tills are always laughing and having a good time. Makes you feel like a person and not just a number (especially since their prices are still sky high in the city in comparison with other grocery stores). Despite the prices, I don’t mind shopping here because I either learn something or have a good time checking out.
I usually stop here to pick up items on the way home after my 'other' shopping experience (buying bulk items) that either didn't have what I wanted, or I didn't need as much of. The store is well laid out, clean and very often, what I was looking for, was on sale. Staff are friendly. Not sure how busy the store is later in the day so I can't give them anymore than a 4 at this time.
Love the bakery ❤️
I order small vanilla cake and ask the bakery to write Happy Easter on it. She said I don’t have jell to write on it. Immediately I call to the manager because I saw one guy got his celebration cake from her before me. Then Customer service representative on phone ☎️ come and talks to her and solve the problem. Finally I got my cake after waiting her more than 35 minutes. ????
Clean store and full grocery selection, though is more expensive than other larger grocers in the area (Italian Centre, Lucky 97, etc.). I knocked off two stars solely because the lines are always ridiculously long. Management needs to really have more cashiers on hand and/or install self-checkouts.
Staff treat you like family, always eager to go that extra mile to provide an excellent shopping experience. The bulk food section is fantastic. Well setup store, good lighting and a terrific variety of products, both national and in-store brands. Lots of parking next to McDonalds, Subway, Panago, Supercuts and a nail salon.
Excellent ethics, manners and happy helpful employees. Clean and best fresh foods.
It's a fairly small location with limited produce options. I often have to search elsewhere for ingredients. Service is good and the checkout lines are usually short.
Meat and produce selections are lacking
The cashier's are very friendly but security can be a little rude.
Great customer experience. Very nice staff. Don't go to the bathrooms here or leave your bikes unlocked outside or even locked up LOL.
The deli seems limited and they dont have hallal or grass fes animals but they do have nice cashiers and it is ok.
The line ups to check out are always huge at this location. The website for online ordering is also unfriendly. Limited product availability.
Have been going to there for quite years now and the staff are very nice and a lots of sales on it just feels good shopping there
8am opening with a line up outside of local customers, finished my shopping about ten minutes later to find only one till open.
I always get good pricing at Save-On.Every time I get to the cashier I end up spending very little cash and that makes me happy????
I love the new cashier Braedon!! He is a breath of fresh air!! Hes kind, energetic, and passionate about his work. Give him a raise!!
Great staff and clean store.just gotta watch your prices or you can REALLY over spend.tha best produce and baked goods.hands down!!!
It's well laid out with the deli and ready made meals to your left join entering the store. They have a sanitizing station set up with hand sanitizer as well as speed for your cart or basket handles to give it's Katrina that added sense of safety since we've all had to adjust to the social challenges that covid had brought it way. It's always well stocked, the fruits and vegetables are always as one would expect them to be. They have some extras there for let's say last minute shoppers,I mean they have some toys and other novelties that you might not find in other day to day grocery stores and ultimately the prices are slightly higher for some things but when you factor in the pleasing staff, where you don't feel like a criminal with people constantly floor stalking.... Like you know they have security to prevent theft but they don't bombard the aisles with them so you can enjoy your shopping experience. The hours are great for most people and you can basically find everything you need even if you are looking for flavors from other cultures. Oh and they make a wonderful banana cream pie.
The only Save-on store that sells Rolling Meadows organic yogurt - and at a good price! Produce is good but some items advertised are not in stock. No self checkout at this store so sometimes slow if you only have a few items.
It's my local store and it is affordable. I'll recommend
The store layout, product selection and cleanliness are average at best- like most grocery stores... But go for Dwane! He is speedy, friendly with everyone and patient; such a lovely cashier!
If you can handle waiting in line from the backend of the store as they do not have self check out or an express lane you will be waiting in line for 30 minutes on an average day.
Save on always has great produce and fresh baked goods. Really love this place for groceries
Too crowded. Everything costs a fortune!!! You have to be rich to shop here. Definitely NOT for low income families. They had the same things No Frills has for double the price. It's ridiculous!!!
Consistent and well stocked. Prices are higher than other grocers in the area however
About the worst grocery store around. No self checkout, so one has to go through the slowest and most debi****ted service one could imagine. Two stars for selection.
Great place to shop and it now has online ordering
I have been to several Save-On-Foods locations and they are always great to visit. The store is well lit and clean. The quality of the produce and meat and other food is excellent. Most grocery stores are arranged in a particular way and this store is no different. One piece of advice make sure you have a Save-On-Food membership are there are always great savings with a membership.
Great staff, needs more organic options and either completely get rid of cosmetic section or in desperate need of restock. This is my most used grocery store.
Been shopping here for a couple of years now. There’s always stock, things are always fresh, and the cashiers are exceptionally friendly - which is important to mention. Despite the pandemic the last couple of years, ever changing restrictions, and occasional low staff matched with busy and crowded lines - the ones who are there working are amazing and I think that’s what counts. Expecting a pre-pandemic level of convenience and zero change to service is just not reasonable. Thanks to this Save On Foods and their team for sticking through it. Will be sad to move away from this location in the near future.
It is overpriced and bad attitudes
Really clean, great deli, produce, and bulk section. Super friendly staff.
Awesome store where I get my foot ball tickets ????????CFL
in the last few months I have witnessed countless mice scurrying around the floor ; to seeing mice droppings under the chip stands and baking aisle . absolutely discusting. I have told the manager. they now have bug and mouse traps visible under the the aisle.. grose. most of the cashiers are very nice and cheerful. all excet this fella named dwayne. He's not so nice.. Also wanted to add . there freezers break down on a reguar weekly basis . Milk coolers are exposed (no glass) I have returned 8 coffee creams .. (and I've reached far in back of this said exposed cooler?)..wish I had vehicle so I wouldn't have to go to this disgusting filthy place..
The closest and best grocery store in my small area. Recent renovations have made it one of the best grocery stores, period. The only improvement could come from it being able to sell liquor, and, well, that's really more of a governmental problem.
I prefer Safeway but it was a nice change to go and see what the competition has.
Often a Poor service experience. Frequent line ups that wrap around the store for the checkouts! Lots of people working in the aisles but not one of them seem to be able to jump on and help the couple of cashiers in times of higher traffic like drive time when people are stopping in after work to pick up dinner. You'd think they would cash train more team members for when they are needed! Not even veteran employees seem to be cash trained! Also seems to be a poor culture in this location! People plugging away at their work but not one smile or greeting from any of the staff! Where's management and how can they be so oblivious to what is happening in their store!!
Great place for quick grocery shopping. Fantastic staff! They are very friendly & helpful.
always a good experience at save on. good steaks. a little more expensive than other stores for most items.
Good place to stop to get quick essentials, and the produce is consistently good, I find. It's a smaller store, but stocked well. Parking at busy times can be a bit hit or miss, as it shares a smallish lot with 4 other businesses, which keeps it at a 4 star for me.
May 2019 I like this store, they always have in-store specials April 2019 Buy one get one free, bacon and smokies Friendly cashier March 2019 Got my free membership for discounts Friendly help desk lady Good selection of produce Previous visit Friendly cashier at the customer service Very helpful and cheerful
Great store has everything we were looking for. Staff are very friendly and their smiles are real, not fake. Thanks and Merry Christmas. Rick Stasiuk, Wetaskiwin, Alberta Canada T9A 3R2
I give 5 star because of so many reasons. Awesome place! Good experience. This Save on food is very spacious and well organized. All the staff are friendly an polite. There ail styling is awesome. this place made the shopping experience great! Well maintained. Nice staff. Very clean and super fast. Thank you keep it up
Don't bother. Poor customer service and poor store processes at this location. I will drive extra 15 mins go to different one. I would recommend Sobeys in Belmont. But this last time I visit this location after being ignored at seafood counter for over 15 mins. I had to call the store I was standing in 2 times and I spoke to manager on one those calls. You'd think would have been served at that point but nope. After waiting almost 30 mins with no help i ended up with frozen food instead the fresh food had behind counter. I even explained to cashier and all she said was oh that terrible sorry. No help at all except to take my money. I would recommend Sobeys in Belmont. That is by far the best grocery store in town. No way I'd wait 2 mins at there deli counter at Sobeys and if I did I'd get more empathy than just a fake empty sorry.
Very large mice follow you around there store. Yet, the entire store is very cold as compared with other grocery stores. Also unlike other grocery stores, the employees at this location don't seem to care about helping customers, ever. They will walk right by you as you try to flag them down and ask them a question. The selection at this particular store is often very poor, perhaps because they don't carry as many items as other Save-On-Foods, perhaps because they don't know how to maintain proper stock levels. We've taken home rancid uncooked chicken with a distant expiry date, in a cryopack (packed at a factory), three times now and are unlikely to go back.
We in check out tonight with Cecilia and she was great. Joked around with us and was fun.
This review is specifically for Braedon C, who is the absolute best cashier ever! He’s so positive and friendly, and just brightens your day with fun questions and high fives. What a nice change in atmosphere, because unfortunately he’s the only cashier I’ve had such lovely interactions with. If the rest of the employees could be more like him I would chose this grocery store more often!! Way to go Braedon!!!
Love this Save On Foods. It has the best cakes. They have a different special on at the Meat and Seafood. There is sales on throughout the store.
While I love this location, every time I come the line to check out wraps all the way into the frozen food and dairy section. I understand the need for social distancing, but the issue is that there are usually only 2 of 6 tills open... on a Sunday! I appreciate that the pandemic has meant some changes, but I would hope the goal would be to get people in and out of the store as quickly as possible. Instead there are people standing in fresh food sections waiting to check out.
Store is clean, and I only used it to pick up milk on my way home from the doctor. Location was handy when coming up from the south.
It has a good sample of fresh and deli meat. Typical store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lines up are what they are. Not sure any place really has it dialed in. It just is a fact of life when shopping.????????????????
Shopping carts are chained up... They connected the quarter chain up to their carts, but failed to realize no one from this century carries change around anymore... Consequently, no one uses shopping carts in their store - and they all remain safely locked up. I'll never go back.
I asked employee if the perogies in to-go meal containers were frozen. She said yes but I could use the microwave. I buy perogies and attempt to use microwave for 5 minutes before realizing it generates literally no heat. All the while a deli employee just watched me stand there trying to use microwave. Finally I take my still frozen food out and say "I don't think this microwave works" she agreed and said it hadn't worked for a while. Why would both employees do this?
Fresh food n kind ppl work there
Good shopping experience with typically very fresh produce. Don't leave your bike locked up outside as their poor lit store front is inviting to thieves.
Great customer service at this location. There is always someone in produce who asks if I need help at the front of their store. They keep their shelves stocked up and enough staff on cash to ensure the lines don't get too long!
Year's ago I used to shop at save- on- foods ! The others groceries stores are far from my home now! Iam finding out through my shopping experience that they have everything and more and the staff very helpful and polite! Taking on and going that extra mile for you! Thanks Save-On-Foods! Your Great
Well stocked for such a small location, needs more cashiers at peak hours
Sometimes Produce is stale and still on the shelves. Returned about 5 items immediately after buying. Opened packaged salads to find rotten lettuce. Popsicle thawed out and frozen again. Cheese on the shelf moldy. More attention by staff required. Staff helpful but guidance by management needs a lift.
High prices, poor stock levels at times, pleasant staff
The store is very clean, they stock items very well. There's not a shortage of anything really. I found the produce(fruits and veggies) very fresh and in excellent condition. There was ample parking, no waiting in line to get in, but had to wait in line for over 30 minutes to pay for my groceries as the line up was very long. The cashiers and store staff were very polite and very helpful. Overall I liked this Save-On and I would go here again.
Ive been shopping at this location for a couple years now as i live across the street, and i must say, the staff are always amazing and helpful and the store itself is always clean and organized with a great selection. I also use this pharmacy to fill all my medications, and the entire team has been wonderful, especially Chris, who is always very helpful and informative. You guys are the best! I think ill keep coming here even if i dont always live super close by :)
It was the dinner rush, people wanting to grab a few items quickly, on their way home to their families. There was a lineup of about 25 people or more, wrapping around the aisle and down to the back of the store. There was at first only ONE checkstand open, but I noticed they put one more cashier on at some point. So a whole TWO cashiers on at like 5 pm? Come on guys! I gave up. I left my basket and walked out.
Kelsie was extremely helpful Provided me with lots of baking information ???? Grate representative for save on foods
Meat selection and prices not good at all.
These guys and gals are great. In there almost daily.
Great Store managers! Very accommodating for community events. Very clean and personable
I like the store set up, and there employees are cheerful, polite, and helpful.
We go here for most of our fresh produce. My husband juices daily and they carry all the organic ingredients we need. The other department are good too. Service is good. Lots of parking.
Consistently well stocked shelves with friendly helpful staff (even through the pandemic!).
Had dwane as my cashier tonight. I’m not one to usualy leave reviews but both my boyfriend and I really enjoyed his energy and how polite he was. Will definitely make this my main grocery store
Well stocked, easy to locate items, helpful staff, very clean
I have all good things to say about this shop leep up the good work
Wish the selection of meats was bigger. And that pork schnitzel was available all year round!
I like this store for a few reasons Cleanliness and neatness Staff is all helpful and friendly Some really good deals on meat and other things at time. Also very convenient with lots of parking and lots of nearby restaurants that is close by.
Very clean, friendly staff. Mask sure customers are safe and that everyone is wearing mask. I had grandson with me and really watches for offenders. He did not find any. Love points just wish we could get better points like we used to. When there was more points I spent more money there.
Walked in today, everything is overpriced than a regular grocery store, mangoes were rotting and they were over a buck each, fishes didn’t look fresh and were over priced... I hate coming here, the price are not good for most of the products. This Place is a total joke I can take pic and post here and prove my point very clearly.
Terrible experience with the rude manager Jordan. The line was so long and I merely suggested to him that he open more cash tills and he totally ripped into me, was so rude. I have never seen a store manager so incredibly disrespectful towards a customer. No matter what kind of day you have, remember that customers keep your business alive. Treat us with dignity. I understand that line ups can sometimes be long but I have been there about 5 times in the last few weeks at varying times in the day and it has been the same with long line-ups. I won't give you my business anymore and I highly recommend to others to not shop there either.
Proletariat+ food quality, Bourgeoisie+ prices. If they charged less and had a bakery as good as Superstore's, I'd go here more often. Wonderfully faced products for a nominal fee!
Cashier's are friendly but security not so much. They follow people around, myself included, making me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes it can be hard to get the attention of an employee if you're looking for something. When they have sales the prices aren't bad, the produce is almost always fresh. I'll keep shopping there because of the location, fresh fruit and friendly cashier.
Clean place but the lineup procedure was a little difficult to follow.
They have most things in stock and the staff is friendly and helpful
I am a visibly Chinese person, and I came to this Save-On-Foods at with around 2:30 PM with my visibly Indigenous friend and his elementary school aged brother. My friend walked in with a water bottle that we bought from Panago Pizza. As soon as we walked into the store, the Asian security guard greeted my friend by following him around the store. My friend did not notice. After my friend purchased chips, we walked out of the store. As soon as we walked out, a man (not sure if he was staff because he was not wearing Save-On-Foods attire) shouted "the security guard said you stole the water bottle". I very assertively told the man off that we bought it at Panago. This security guard and maybe staff member racially profiled my friend and accused him of stealing. I believe this security guard should receive disciplinary action due to his racism.
My friends had ordered delivery of some items to my home for my birthday and added to include a card if possible. Some sweet heart employee picked and wrote a card from my friends! This made me giggle and brighten all of our days. Who ever delivered was also concerned about our items since we didn’t answer the door and it was a hot day, but they had also included in the messages that babies might be home and sleeping! I love that the ordered details were read and respected. So very sweet ???? Thank you for making me feel a little closer to friends during this time. Hope those employees get some recognition for their caring behaviour! :)
$$$ If you like throwing your money away, then this is the place to shop. Very expensive for being in the ghetto.
My favourite place to shop. Great staff who do go the extra mile and good products, including their brand
Definitely not my go to for groceries unless its an emergency and I'm out of a couple of things. Doesn't feel like a great value for money option when you have Costco and Superstore
SaveOn can be more expensive but it's worth it for their produce. I've never had an issue with their produce. When they have sales, their sale prices are pretty good. Store is always clean and well organized. Friendly staff.
Good prices when you look. Great pork steaks
Wonderful experience at the bakery. Placed a cake order to be ready on the same day. We were very specific and needed a dinosaur cake. We called one place and they pretty much hung up on us. I had never ordered from Save On before but figured we'd give them a try. They had no dinosaur figurines at the time but waited for me to bring some in from home and still got the job done in time. They got creative and produced an absolutely incredible piece of art. The quality of cake and icing was also excellent. We will most likely never go anywhere else for birthday cakes. Not to mention they were insanely friendly!
I notice that a lot of reviews comment on the long till line ups and nothing gets done at this store to improve it. Businesses these days are crying for customers and this store places little value on them. If you want my business then treat me with respect and don’t make me stand in long lineups. Especially if you want to charge the high prices these guy do. I notice that the management of this store doesn’t try to comment on this or improve the situation . They should call this business “Save Less” Today I wanted to buy a pie and it was deformed. I asked for a discount and was offered a measly 10%. Does the woman in the bakery own this store? Is the discount coming out of her pocket? If this is the best they can do I will not buy as much from them anymore. Just milk and bread. Funny how management never comments on reviews or try’s to fix the problems commented on in these reviews. They really don’t care.
Lots of varety, good deli, fresh vegetables and fruit. Really great people working at the pharmacy.B C food store chain, prices are getting better.
Went to Edmonton Kingsway September 5 to check out the case lot sale Total waste of time The selection was very minimal and really nothing of interest Would bother in the future
don't care to ever shop here again, can't find a lot of items I want ????
Some prices are high like bologna being like $8 or $9 when u can get it at superstore for like $5 or $6.
They alway have freshly baked good .and of course alway good selection of fruit and veggies alway
I was just in to pick up a few things and got out relatively quick. I couldn't find the bulk oatmeal. I found a good substitute, but.. Check out was painless.
Friendly staff, clean. However, I now never purchase their in store prepared salads due to an unpleasant experience.
This place is expensive. Not even going to try and lie. It's amazing how they get away with it. The products are not any different from any other store. Why so expensive. The staff are very friendly. That helps when shopping with no mask. The customers, well you all need to get a grip on reality. You have lost your minds. The old guy who harrasses me everytime, you should be ashamed of yourself. Keep exposing your characteristics.. it suits you, not me.
Went here yesterday on friday jan 10th with 7 dollars to spend, needed to release my safety valve pressure was building. So I asked a very nice lady working and organizing vegetables if there was a bathroom I could use, she said over there the extremely bald guy is the manager he will give you a secret code to the bathroom. I said hey mr.manager what's the secret code to the bathroom? He said it was double oh seven. I went to the bathroom door it was locked with a pad key I press the digits zero.zero seven and felt like a spy while going number 1. Too bad they have people who value jobs who work there cuz I was hoping they were hiring part time min wagers. But the manager who was balder then I said they hadn't hired anybody in 5 months. Those are amazing stats for a grocery store. Now you know where to shop and where to invest your energy. I mean money. Only place that made me feel like a spy before taking a piss. Inwouldve spent more money had I had it. But owell I'll be back.
My go-to grocery store downtown...not that it has a lot of competition. Has pretty well everything I need and keeps stock of enough novelty and local items to keep me happy.
This is my usual grocery store. The staff are great and the selection is good. Normally I would give this place 5 stars but, they stopped enforcing rules around masks. I was there for 20 minutes tonight and saw 6 customers with no masks at all. I overheard this conversation at the door: Security guard: Can you please put on a mask, sir? Man: I was here last week and they said I don't have to wear one. Security guard: It's okay then. Don't worry about it. And the man entered the store. The people who don't wear masks also aren't social distancing at all. I think I'm going to have to switch to superstore because I can do click and collect or Safeway because the one on 118th is actually being very cautious with masks and hand hygiene.
Medium sized grocery store with ample free parking. Check flyers for any specials before shopping.
Love this store. Always clean, well stocked and organized.
This location has very friendly, professional staff. The market is on the smaller side, but has most everything. The bulk section is above average.
The staff is incredibly friendly, the store is very clean. The aisles arranged intuitively, and always fully stocked.
Always stalked on their items.
Two cashiers on, line up was about 20ppl long.
Kind of expensive and the staff weren't pleasant
I really like the quality of produce here always seem good, they are a little pricey compared to other places but quality is better Nd they do have great sales in their flyer plus they price match but they really up their game on covid santitazion very disappointed in that area
Why do i have to sign up to their points system to get the discount? i lose money because i dont want to give them my information. Their beef is always extremely brown and not normal. Charging full price for very OLD beef id throw away.. I miss safeway, they always had fresh meats. Agenda 2030 eh. Get a costco card, can use instacart or go there, buy big slabs and cut your own steaks 100 times better. Charging full price AND they want to data farm your information so you can save a few bucks. its disgusting, dont know how you people can sleep at night and look your kids in the eyes.
Have everything the typical save-on does. Pretty clean and all the staff are frendly; greeting and asking if I need help finding items. Line ups for checkouts are usually 1-2 people in length and don't have to wait long.
Well organized store and had lots in stock. The chicken pot pie and taters are almost always ready too.
2nd day in a row I’ve come in for something and it’s not there… this store is a joke.
Most expensive grocery store I've ever been in my life. Lots of variety but prices were out of this world
More expensive there than Safeway and Walmart. Crazy ridiculous prices. Won't go back
