With a few too many past unpleasant experiences with medical professionals, I could be a difficult patient. My husband and I had our first visit at the Clinic and met with Dr. Thwainy. As a young physician, Dr. Thwainy demonstrated a welcoming and supportive bedside manner. We appreciate her medical knowledge and the field in general. Dr. Thwainy was thorough with the interview while respecting our privacy. The rating for a 4 star instead of 5 is on the clinic. It took over 2 months to get an appointment for an introduction visit. I could have died, yet not.

I love how the first thing yelp said was "things might not be as good because of covid" funny how this is a medical place and yet, there was a lady with black hair and black glasses who decided that because she wasn't having a good day at work she decided to take that out on me. i don't recommend ever going here, coming from a medical assistant i would never. they need to hire better medical assistants and their doctor is alright. tell that girl to fix her attitude

Doctor told me I "didn't seem depressed," so yeah. If you come in for a mental health complaint make sure you cry or something because they're not that bright here. I guess 11 years of medication, mood swings, and suicidal thoughts are all just made up because I'm able to hold it together in the doctors office. I'm going back because obviously there are no doctors accepting patients in Powell River but I was sorely disappointed. Maybe a little empathy next time? Because we live in a society that forces people to bottle things up? Just a thought.

Love waiting OVER TWENTY FIVE MINUTES ON HOLD. Still havn't been serviced. This is absolutely infuriating especially when trying to get in contact with my doctor for an appointment (I missed his call by a minute and cannot directly call back). I am leaving this clinic. Doctors are great but I cannot stand this lack of service. Makes 0 sense especially for a clinic of this size. This isn't the first time I've given up on trying to contact them for a day. Perfect doctors, terrible reception.

Ive called and had them hang up on me several times. I know its a small town, but do your job!

I love my family doctor, he is an excellent doctor. My issue is I call and call and call 20x in one day and wait on hold for 15 minutes at a time and nobody picks up. If you want an appointment you have to drive down there most of the time. Lots of times I end up just going to the walk in or the ER because they can't fit me in anyways. So frustrating.

Office hours start at 8:30 a.m.,..... but good luck getting someone to answer the phone before 9 or 9:30.....Doctor is good tho...
