I was originally introduced to Dr. Schultz for reconstructive surgery in 2007. Over 12 years later, I find the same professionalism, courtesy and caring from him and his staff at Artesia Plastic Surgery. Whether I'm there for a medical condition or something strictly cosmetic, I am seen in a timely manner, don't feel rushed and am given options, rather than being steered in any one direction. I am extremely happy with the service I've recieved at Artesia.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schultz. I had reconstruction after breast cancer and he made a scary situation so much easier to get through. He takes his time with you and just makes you feel so comfortable at each visit. The office staff is awesome.....very friendly. Dr. Schultz checked on my progress half way through radiation and when I was finished. He and his staff became like second family. If I could, I would give Dr. Schultz more than 5 stars. I really can't say enough about him.

November 18, 2020 Dr. Raymond O. Schultz, MD Artesia Plastic Surgery 6044 Main Street Suite 106 Williamsville, NY 14221 Doctor Schultz: I am writing to you regarding the experience my sixteen-year-old daughter had at your practice on November 18, 2020. You saw her for a simple skin excision on a mole above her right eye. I was present with my daughter that day and closely observed the abhorrent and unprofessional care provided by you and your staff. While I had no expectation of a plastic surgery tutorial, you provided not even a simple explanation of the procedure to a young, first-time surgical patient. After the procedure was completed, you dashed from the room while your surgical technician hurriedly cleaned the room. It was readily apparent that both you and your staff were eager to depart for the day, as we observed you departing prior to us leaving the office. One major thing was overlooked; the welfare of my daughter. When my daughter rose from the chair, she nearly fainted. I immediately placed her back in the chair and directed your surgical technician to raise her feet as her complexion indicated to me that it was possibly a near synoptic event. I explained to your surgical technician that my daughter was unwell and she retrieved a container of orange juice and then hastily resumed her cleaning duties. You may recall that I went into the hallway and asked you to return to the procedure room. You walked in, observed my daughter’s complexion, and remarked that it was an apparent vasovagal event. You then proceeded to place a tepid compress that was laying on a counter upon my daughter’s head and then promptly left the room, again, not to return. It is beyond comprehension to me that I had to request that my daughter’s blood pressure be taken prior to our departure. In summary, what I observed today was a profound lack of patient care and a sheer demonstration of professional apathy. It is alarming that you came so highly regarded from other medical professionals. It is my intention to make sure that this event is made more widely known so that others may avoid a similar experience.
