You must have seen that it has an average rating is really positive, and it is founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the assessment is very reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Plastic Surgery is included in the category of Home improvement store.
Went in to get an element for my oven, was met at the door by a nice host that pointed me in the right direction, then when I was looking for the right spot I was shown the place for the element, found it quickly and helped in my next find then quickly checked out. Best Home Depot I've been in, in a long time.
I would rate it a 0 if the rating existed. I had ordered flooring and had an installation quote from National Installations. The quote needed some tweaking so I went to the Langford store to speak to a flooring associate. They were off that day but someone named Ali was there. He was deeply involved with his iPhone to notice me so I approached him for service. He immediately told me that he doesn't get paid to help people. He told me he was the manager of that department. I explained to him that I needed to make changes to the installation quote. He proceeded to explain to me that was not their job to make changes to quotes and that I was to call the number on the quote. He then elaborated his point to which I countered that " It is their job to co-ordinate flooring jobs". By this time I had had enough of him and his iPhone and I told him I would be speaking to the manager. You see, calling the number on the quote equals several hours on hold waiting for someone to pick up the line.Previous flooring installations, that we have had in out homes, that did not involve Ali, if I had any questions or changes to the installation quote, the other flooring associates were happy to help.
Do not believe them when buying appliances I went to the Home Dept in Windsor East, I purchased a fridge from them and they assured me that they have 11 of them in stock. Paid the money ,received a confirmation call with the delivery date. but they said i will receive an other call for the time, and here is the problem i didn’t get the call. I went to the store they said we have no clue, but you received a call and an email that it is going to be delayed ,and i didn’t. They gave me a number to call and the big shock it is delayed for five month. I asked to speak to the store manger that was very rude, his name was Tim. He said oh there is nothing that we can do and i have to call to do the refund . Imagine i have to call ,not just put my card in the machine and i have to wait. Thanks to Sandra who is a very nice employee she maid the call for me and i had to wait in the store for more than one hour to get my money back on my card Will never buy any appliances from Home Depot they are fraud they just want your money Tim the store manger you need a course in customer service i am wondering how you ended up as a store manger with such a bad manners
The staff are always friendly and very professional. I always find what I'm looking for. Great store. Very well-kept.
Like all Home Depot stores, this store is HUGE! So it stands to reason that they will have something at least close to what you need. But good luck finding it. I took this picture of the park bench in the store because it seemed kind of funny. Pack a lunch an plan to get lost when you're here because you sure won't get help from the staff. I tried talking through an idea for closet organizing system with a staff person in that area and the guy just grumbled and, I kid you not, told me my idea was "just weird." And then he walked away!!! My jaw dropped. I've built cabinets & reproduction Canadiana furniture so I doubt my idea absolutely wouldn't fly. Home Depot carries the wire shelving system but they said their cutter has been away for repairs for over a month with no eta for when it will be back in the store so I'm thinking I'll shop somewhere else for my renovation project. The few other cleaning tools I needed for my new place took me to their cleaning section that seemed to be mostly bare with a lot of items showing they were out of stock. On the plus side, the cashier was sweet & friendly. I don't use automated cashier because I prefer to support jobs.
Excellent staff!
Opened for public after a long lockdown. Covid restrictions applied. Good place for your all your home needs
Has lots of items and staff is always helpful
Been to this store several times and am totally surprised they rarely have what I’m looking for. Not used to this from a big store like Home Depot in a big place like Langford.
It's Home Depot. Big, clean and usually has everything you would expect in stock. Has a couple of really helpful staff. The guy with the walrus moustache in tools is a standout but on the whole, don't expect a lot in the way of help. Staff at the checkout are all excellent.
Very helpful staff at this location
The staff were amazing! Very friendly, very helpful! One staff member, Robert I think his name is, helped tremendously with a door knob with lock. Another staff also was very helpful when we looked at storm doors. Other staff approached us on their own and asked if they could help us!! The store itself is nice and well stocked. We live about 2 hours away from St Albert, and we will go back there again.
Purchased a hot water tank and asked very specifically that the unit be delivered and installed. Took about 4 employees to actually get the purchase completed and they said someone would contact me in the next 48 hours to install it. No called after about 30 hours so called back and they said to wait a bit longer. Waited another week and I called them again only to be told that they don't have anyone working there right now who can even do the installation and that I just need to figure it out myself. The least helpful staff I've ever dealt with.
Shady
I had a great experience buying a fridge today. Harold Rosenberg helped me to find what I was looking for, very friendly en efficient. Great service. Thank you Harold.
I been here a few times to get household needs and gardening stuff. The things I shopped for were easy to find. Lots of help from the staff. The parking lot is big and easy to get around. The check out was easy and the employees were really nice and caring. I recommend this place to anyone looking for home needs.
Good selection of supplies, especially when the other Victoria store is sold out, which was nice to see. It was the first time I've ever ordered online for pick up in-store on the same day, and they had it ready promptly-- a huge time saver, and would definitely recommend! Unfortunately, when I went to pick it up, my experience was not as positive. I was met by a condescending customer service attendant, Liz. Her scowls and lack of desire to be interacting with me from the start -for whatever reason- were evident in her words and expressions towards me, even through a mask. There were little to no prompts for what information she needed from me, just condescending stares and looks of judgement when I'd get it "wrong", or by her words, saying "that's not what I need".... what DO you need? I can't see your screen?? I don't know what info you're looking for at that moment...?? I'm sorry I'm saying it 'out of order'-- I don't know what order you need it in because you won't tell me what you're looking for or even ask me any questions??? It was uneasy enough that when she went back to grab my items, I turned to my spouse and asked if it was just me, or if I was interpreting this wrong, and he said he also felt this was a very uncomfortable and confusing exchange from customer service. Upon receiving our order, I instantly recognized there was an item I would need to exchange for a different size, but knew I would be doing so a different time/location because I was not going to continue this interaction any longer than necessary. We wished her well, and she us, and we left-- but it's unlikely we'll be coming back often if this continues or isn't addressed. Thank you!
In 2017 the Courtenay Home Depot had the best staff ever. They were so helpful in all departments. The lumber department helped me build and finish many projects
Always friendly and helpful staff. The layout and organization's of the store can be confusing though. For example, I would assume a dehumidifier would be with heating and cooling but it was with microwaves which makes little sense. Also, because I can't take my dog in the store I usually go to Canadian Tire instead.
Honestly, go to Canadian Tire or any other hardware store. Homedepot may carry what you need but the service is terrible. No one knows where things are, everyone seems frustrated and inconvenienced by questions. I called in today to confirm if they had something. A rep answered, asked me to hold, transferred the call, and it dropped. Typical. If this is home owners helping home owners with expert advice, I’ll stick to YouTube
The store was clean but cluttered. There were 2 aisles closed and the bathrooms were out-of-order. The aisles are short so items normally found together in other stores may be difficult to locate. A few of the items I was looking for were out-of-stock, of course. However, the staff is very friendly and courteous, and they seem to know what they're talking about.
good place to shop
Super helpful
At this Home Depot, the staff are incredibly friendly, and always go out of their way to help me. It never takes long to find someone available if you need help finding something or making a decision about the right product. I have had a staff go out of their way to help me put together a large order from numerous departments, and ensure all of my purchases were shipped and delivered to me, together. I find the store is always clean and well organized, and my dogs are always made to feel welcome when I bring them in with me. It is always a pleasure to shop at the Parry Sound Home Depot.
Poor customer service ????. Why there's no zero ⭐. I did email to the management team. And it's been half an year with no reply. So disappointed.
Found what we were looking for after checking several other stores.
Large selection of products in a convenient location with a large parking lot. It is pretty similar to any of the others stores. Some items can be a bit expensive like plants but overall it is a good store for what it is.
It was a good experience but they didn’t have the product I needed so have to drive to different Home Depot
Prices need to be cheaper
Very helpful staff!
Didn't have exactly what I wanted, but I made it work with what they had. Was just a DIY custom rod holder for fishing.
Was planning on purchasing new light fixtures, toilets, vanities and a bath tub. After an hour no one asked if we needed help. When we did ask for help no one came and they gave us no information when we were asking questions and the older gentlemen was rude to us. Also no clean carts.
Always a good experience here; friendly staff are always willing to help!
The new norm, big line ups to get in, there was dog poo in one of the isles which I was so blessed to step in, but the service was amazing. Everyone was helpful, cheerful, and knowledgable.
Staff standing around everywhere you look, tried to ask a question, but it was like they were day dreaming, never answered so asked another, they misdirected, at check out was a great employee, but was just a little too late..
Massive Scam - Lowest price Guarantee - Posted in the wood section of Home Depot. I go to the front desk ask for a price match .. TOLD " We dont price match WOOD since March 2020 when Covid started" I politely ask --Why are there signs in the wood section GUARANTEED LOWEST PRICE. Rudely states again "We dont price match" I ask to see the Manager ........ Manager tells me it has to be the same VENDOR supplying the wood. I explain its the same wood. OH.... but it has to be the same VENDOR ... Look at the pictures FOLKS in the store I have posted. It does not state that. I explain that it is the same vendor So basically LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE ...BUT - Has to be from the same TREE - Same Lumberjack cutting the wood - Cut on the same day Massive act of deception ... in your advertising shame on you
I'm terms of options, and hours of operations its a 5. In terms of availability of staff, staff to customer ratio for even adequate service levels its a 3. In my opinion if you're business is built to serve contractors, as well as DIY'ers, than you need to be equipped to handle the hand holding DIY'ers require regarding information and application. Contractors know what they want and need and are educated enough in the field to help themselves, but the rest of us could use the assistance in the aisles. That's the only real area besides a bit more competitive pricing that your location could improve on.
Nice and clean store with well lit isles too. Finding help is one thing but finding someone who is willing to help and not say "this isn't my section but I will send someone right over to you". We ended up coming back 4x to get the parts we needed to piece the kitchen sink faucet together for our kangen water system to hook up to it. We were told it could not be done with the type of Moen faucet we have installed, impossible they said, well guess what...we did it and it works like a dream. The staff that did find us and assist us were very pleasant and polite and we thank those people. I'll give it another shot before I pass judgment on this location...
While looking a tad confused and maybe a bit overwhelmed I was greeted by a gentleman asking if I needed assistance. I gave a vague description of what I needed and he asked for more details in order to help me better. After heading what my project was about, he not only found me exactly what I needed, he cut the wood and made my day that much easier. This is the type of service that keeps me coming g back to H.D. and not the other building stores. Thank you!
They don't always have what you need because of their size but staff is always friendly!
Very friendly and good service
A wonderful worker named Robbie helped us. He was very kind and gave us great money saving tips! I also had the pleasure of being helped by a very pleasant woman in the paint department, both workers were helpful, kind, informative. I left home depot feeling very well cared for ????
This place is great. Returns are a breeze and very accommodating. This Home Depot retains quality employees that are very helpful in knowledge, products and customer solutions. I prefer this home building supplier to any others in the area.
Good prices
Had a great selection of fans during the hot season, all Home Depot's are relatively the same but it's good to know a little extra drive from the city can net you goods that are usually out of stock within it. I had great customer service here and their garden center was nicer than most locations. I would definitely recommend!
Took care of me well, Very helpful staff.
????
Got yelled at by an employee to go home, here. I understand tensions are high, but Im still working too, and my work needed me to go to home depot. Not blaming her, just maybe think about taking some time off.
Nice to be able to shop at Home Depot again. This was my first trip back since they were closed with the covid epidemic. I called the store first to confirm that we are allowed in the store. Unfortunately they aren't very good at answering the phone. I finally checked with someone in the construction industry and they said yes they were open. Once I arrived I was able to quickly find everything I needed and was on my way. Staff are very friendly.
Don't order appliances from them and if anything is back ordered expect a nightmare. Bought our appliances in July 2021 with a September delivery date. The day before the delivery they called us and said it wasn't happening, had to contact their order system to find out what happened and when we'd get them. New date is October. Same thing happens. We have to contact them again to find out what's wrong and when the next delivery is. November is the next date, exact same thing. Person we talked to about it says they can split the order so that we at least have some of our appliances Delivery for 2 of the items is set for Nov 30. They call us Day of Delivery to say it's back ordered to March next year. Contact their order people they can't split orders, you'd have to cancel your order for the things we can't send. No we will not give you any compensation for the time we've wasted nor for you having to take time off work for all the deliveries that didn't show up. No we cannot give you any more warning than day before that you won't receive items. TL:DR We don't mind waiting for our appliances but the lies, run around, and lack of forewarning 4 times in 5 months was the final straw. Cancelled our order and found someone who would be honest with us.
The staff like to play hide and seek. Especially when they know you looking for help
Hopeless. Dont deliver what they promise, dont pickup phone and not super helpful in store
Super slow paint department
I go out of my way to shop at Home depot because of the staff.
Home depot, is just that, Home Depot. Don't expect to be wowed by the decor or layout. Where you will be surprised is the customer service of the employees. I'm consistently impressed with how helpful everyone is.
We were looking for an Faucet Adapter, since 2 weeks, Nothing online and Nothing in the other stores was helping us out.. But thankfully Mr.John at Home depot, while restocking stuff helped us out with a perfect fit. Thank you for the help and support..
Went to St. Albert Home Depot and got excellent service. I needed to buy smoke detectors and a gas detector meter. A young guy asked if I needed help and I said yes. When I told him what I needed, he said he wasn't an expert in the smoke alarm department but he got someone from the electrical dept.to help me. This guy was a great help and answered all my questions. I wish I would of got their names. Great job St. Albert Home Depot
Half assed service, most folks working there have not got a clue what they are there for. Warm bodies is about it. Better off to have your smart phone with you to dig into specific details of a product one may be unsure of. Home Depot needs experience- folks that have done hands on things. What I see is a mixture of youth more interested in hiding in the back yapping it up with another younger employee. If your disabled in any way good luck on getting assistance in getting what you need on a cart and loaded. What ever happened to HOME HARDWARE!! Might be a smaller Corp but service was always exceptional with knowledge and with a will and desire to assist in answers or some muscle to get things out the door!! Some say BIGGER is better! I would not recommend Home Depot for that or anything else as a matter of fact. CRIPES GET WITH THE PROGRAM HOME DEPOT!! Maybe hire someone that knows how to screen new or existing employee's!! Even Canadian tire has you beat hands down on knowledge of products and assistance!!
Curbside not available on weekends. Nice lady told me at the customer service. She was the only one handling curbside and returns. Took almost an hour to finally get my purchase. Weekdays super fast and good?
I was beyond disappointed. Very understaffed. Staff not very helpful. Looking for curtains. Only one staff member in that area. I figured out what I wanted. I need 7 curtain panels but only 4 there. I've already been waiting for 10 - 15 minutes for help. A simple question to a staff member elsewhere I hunted down. Only that one person, he tells me, can look it up on the computer to see if there are more in stock. I decide to leave Shelbourne store and drive to Langford. Same situation there. Very understaffed. I see the curtains I want. Again only 4 there. At least this person was able to look up on the computer to see that there were no more in stock. There aren't. I ask if they can call the other store and put a hold on the ones I know are there. He says he will call, and attempts to hand me the phone and says that I can wait on hold. During a pandemic, to hand me the staff phone to put up to my face is not only putting my health at risk, but every staff member that works there. Finally I decide to buy the curtains. No protection. Not able to scan my card. I have to not only use the keypad to put my numbers in, but on a separate monitor I have to write my signature with my finger, where who knows how many customers did the same that day. I saw nobody clean it before or after. Hire more people. Pay them a decent wage so they enjoy working there. And in a pandemic, train your staff to protect your customers.
The store is usually pretty well stocked and the staff are very helpful at the Langford store. The staff at the customer service are particularly awesome, especially Bonnie! She always is able to fix any problem I bring to her. Very smart and friendly, always!
They had the hose I needed when my bidet install went sideways. Who knew that a cheap amazon bidet wouldn't come with absolutely everything you'd need. Never the less, I am now cleansed in ways of which I've only dreamt. Touch me not, serfs, as to not spoil my cleanliness.
Good Service staff, good stock and selection. Hate the self checkouts, didn't know i was working here until i checked out ????
Check out garden stuff and chairs
The customer service at this location was definitely below quality. The associate helping was not friendly or helpful in anyway. you would think that after purchasing a $1,000 item, better customer service would come into play
I like Home Depot, they always have what I'm looking for and the staff are very helpful. if they don't know, they send me to someone who does.
Home Depot has a wide (but not particularly deep) variety of home improvement items, tools and appliances. The return policy is very reasonable. The customer service is okay if you can find someone but the staffing levels and service seem to be down from what they used to be. Same with inventory; it seems like more and more often lately I have had to turn to specialty stores for items I used to find here. Or maybe I am just getting fussier.
Just shopping in the garden section today. Extremely well organized and very clean. Staff was incredibly helpful and came to ask if I needed help finding anything (rare these days) Plants looked really well cared for, but the ones that didn't look as good was on discount. Great sale items and good regular prices. I noted a bird nest that staff had put up "do not disturb" signs. I really appreciated that they work with our bird friends, and sacrificed the items as "not for sale. Good on you all that did that! Thanks to the garden staff for making my visit today, over and above, a nice afternoon. Much appreciated. I will be back.
Very good place for anything you expect to buy at a Home Depot. Only problem is the frequently closed aisles.
Staff are excellent and know what they sell. Very energetic and always a pleasure to work with.
Would give 0 stars to the Manager Ryan Sagal if I could. Absolutely no concept of customer service and retention. I'm surprised he's managing a home depot. Home depot just lost a loyal commercial customer spending north of 100k a year at their locations throughout Canada.
Great place for all your home improvement needs. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. No problem doing price match with lowes.
Sometimes hard to find needed help.
Helpful staff and huge selection of everything needed for Reno's, upgrades & new construction projects.
Mixed, it was great shopping and found everything we wanted that was in stock. No poolkits they are on backorder forever.
Like all the others
Alright with the exception of loading my truck with alot of cement employees were walking by not offering to help i wasn't impressed
Pick up service great. Very polite staff!
Second time waiting an extremely long time, 50 min for 2 deck boards, watched numerous other people pull up and go some with significantly large orders.
This HD is in parry sound. Great staff. Jimmy at the lumber desk was very helpful and very cherful. Lumber yard lady was great to deal with, especially since there were many trucks there with trailers. I plan on returning to this location for the remainder of my project wood.
I can honestly say that I had a wonderful experience with the Home Depot staff, they were pleasant and very professional. I truly recommend this location.
Lots of helpful staff!
Lots to choose from...products and aisle locations are labelled making it easy to find things
Home Depot used to allow dogs in its stores, apparently that policy has now changed. I brought my dog in because it was a hot day and halfway through my shopping I was told I need to put my dog in my car. This is fine but the lady was so very rude the way she said it to me. She wasn't nice about it at all. How am I suppose to know your policy on dogs has changed? Anyway, Lowes and Canadian Tire are both dog friendly. Since the summers out here are hot, that is where I will be shopping from now on.
The store associate who helped me was brilliant, I described the sort of thing I was looking for (something to secure my front door and keep my son in without being ugly) and he showed me this great floor model in a brushed brass finish that matches my existing hardware perfectly. Only problem was the only ones in stock were stainless steel and there wasn't even a spot for it
Amiable and helpful staff!
They have got anything you need however a bit pricey
We stopped by to inquire for some store assistance. The staff member was polite, smiling and said he would call for some help in the specific department and assistance came in less than 5 minutes. Overall a good shopping experience and interaction was had today.
Great display and selection of flooring. Had to load up a flatbed cart myself before going through the cashier's but got help loading my truck after I checked out.
In fort Saskatchewan, everything seems less busy. Home Depot included. Significantly less impressed. The store was empty. A group of employees were hanging out in front of the self checkout. I despise self checkout and will go out of my way to not use it. One of the guys catches my eye - the young one. He says, "I'll take you over here. I'm wary as he's heading for self checkout. He goes to the back counter, grabs my lightbulbs, scans them and then directs me to one of the self checkout lanes. Seriously. There were no open regular tills. They're just standing there doing nothing and the guy makes me use the self checkout? I guess he's not too concerned with job security. Weak, dude. Real weak.
Good selection of products and pleasant staff. Good job guys!
Was as good day in the store good help and was in and out. A person always likes that.????
Hard to find someone to help in the paint shop, only one person waiting. Other than that a nice location.
Looking to spend a quick $20 on home repair .........pretty sure this trip will cost my $2000.00 with all the other things I'm sure I need after walking the aisles.
Tried renting a carpet cleaner for next week on the "award winning website" which was buggy and unresponsive. Then when I called the store I was on hold for 20 minutes just to be told I had to come in the book the cleaner. Come on.
There staff was friendly and helpful, however they did not have the plumbing part I needed. I was told to try another location that has one in stock
Not really a great place as many people are not social distancing.
Good
Service is hit and miss. Usually good.
You can find what your looking for in most cases with help from staff .
The home depot always has what I want, only because I'm usually there for something that I saw in the flyer I received. Customers service is usually good. Finding an employee who can help you with your qualifications can be difficult at the best of times.
It's best to have an idea of what you're looking for and where using the internet first... staff is scarce even when the store isn't all that busy - anyone you get to help you is knowledgeable though
It was great! Not only were the two staff members I interacted with very friendly and helpful, but they had the $1/pair of work gloves bin full again. :)
Its a nice big place to shop
Good
As a father and a new home owner, home Depot is quickly becoming my new favorite shopping destination. This one I particular is clean, friendly and always has an excess of what I am looking for. Half the time I come out of here with things I never intended to purchase. Great store
I like this store they have everything you need and strangely better prices then the other homedepot
Cheaper and easier to get what you want on amazon. The staff here are shockingly rude, and demeaning. Better to go to Rona, Canadian Tire, other home depots, or shop online.
Had a fairly hard time getting the ball rolling to purchase my shingles today, but once the found the fork lift operator everything went smoothly,
Convenient location but not support and customer service
The company is doing well with it's stuff. Quality and fair price
If I could rate Home Depot Canada 0 stars, I would. I made a purchase on May 3rd and was given an order confirmation and order tracking number. Their website said to expect delays due to covid 19, but that they would do their best to ship out the order within 72 hours. I waited for one MONTH, each day checking the progress on my item to see that it still had not even shipped. I did not recieve any emails about my item or any sort of update to my order. I decided to call customer support to see what was going on. I waited on hold for 2 and a half hours before I was finally given a prompt to enter my phone number for a call back. I did not get a call back for 2 days. Unfortunately Home Depot does not have e-mail or chat support, and does not allow you to cancel orders online, so the only way I was able to contact them was by phone. I tried 3 times to contact them on Twitter, but no response there either. When I finally got a call back I was told that my order payment did not originally go through, and that at some point the payment was processed and the item was shipped. I was told I should expect the item in "about a week". Again I recieved no emails regarding the original pending transaction, OR an email with a receipt updating that the transaction had completed. The customer support agent at Home Depot assured me I would recieve my package soon. Over a month and a half after ordering my item (June 18th), I get an email from Home Depot stating that my order had been cancelled due to stock not being available. What an absolute circus and waste of my time. I don't want to bother trying to call them back so that I can wait on hold for another 2 and a half hours, only to be told to wait for a call back. I've decided to take my business elsewhere to businesses who have actual customer service and organization skills. I will never shop at Home Depot again, and I'm leaving this review so that other people can save themselves the hassle that I went through.
We went to Lowe's before coming here, and we asked the same question. Hands down this is the better location. Here, they didn't tell me my project was impossible. They actually helped me with the steps to make it possible.
Lots of cottagy stuff, plus all the usual LBM. You'll definitely find anything you're looking for. Also, very competitive pricing.
This home depot is laid out well and there was an attendant nearby who was knowledgeable about the parts i needed to fix my garage door.
Great place to buy outdoor and some home furnishings. Building supplies and paint etc. I have noticed recently that the employees have become more helpful.
I love working around my house and fix things like pro. I need a place where I can find everything and Homedepot is the right place. ✅ Excellent .
Huge amount of really great service from the staff at the 2 stores we visited. So many folks finding us, asking if we need help and making us feel welcome and well served. What a tremendous difference from Lowe's, where the polar opposite is true. We spent tons of money there instead of at Lowe's, and they totally deserve the business. It looks like Home Depot is again back to raising their service levels - kudos to the management at Home Depot for understanding that service is key to retail success and investing in it. Cant wait for Lowe's to close up and gtfo of Canada.. its bound to happen.
Rented a van here to haul all the wood I bought. Great service on the rental, Jimmy was great. So much better than those car/truck rental companies. This was simple, available by the hour. Only downside was that you are unable to reserve online or ahead of time. So you take a bit of a chance that one of the vehicles will be available.
Excellent service. Very pleased with the consideration.
Awesome customer service!! As always they always have what I need in stock & for a fair price!!
It's a big store, sometimes you have questions about where stuff is. I've had good experiences with staff, but most of the time it seems like I'm bothering them by daring to ask a question. Most of the older staff could learn a thing or two about customer service from the younger staff. Friends experienced similar experiences. Shame.
Not the best but not the worst. Usually drive to the park????
Home depot. Consistent across the region. This store seams to the fastest place to run into and get lumber quickly.
Lots of choices and helpful friendly staff
Friendly helpfull staff lots of products
Helpful staff, very clean
Very helpful
Home depot in Ft Saskatchewan is an amazing place to shop. Associates take care of what you need instantly. They all seem to work as a great team.
Great selection from lumber to appliances to plants. Fair prices and friendly staff.
Tried doing an order on the home depot website and it didn't work, so loaded up my family and went in to the store. Impossible to find a sales associate. When I found one, she said they didn't have my product in store and stood there like I would just leave. I asked that they order it for me because I couldn't order it myself on the website. She went to the computer and said it wasn't available in Canada after barely looking, said I'd been on the U.S. website and tried to sell me a similar product 3x the price. I went on my phone and showed the product on the Canadian website. She did the order for me but I had to push every step of the way. Went back a month later for another large purchase, same thing - couldn't find staff, once I described exactly what I was looking for pretty much had to prompt with "So I need you to find it and show it to me so I can buy it" because the guy was just standing there - and then he immediately left after showing me the product instead of helping me actually order it! Understaffed location (not the staffs fault), can never find someone to assist you, very unmotivated staff in my experience. I've actually worked at a HD before and was appalled by this location. Basic stuff!!
I had a great experience at the rental dept. I think the person who got us set up was Alyssa. Excellent service but.... I rented a concrete saw and jackhammer and never knew that I had to clean it upon return. Got tagged a $50 fee to clean. The guy I returned it to told me I could take it and hose it off and come back. I b lived 25 min away so took the charge. Seems exorbitant but didn't know about the cleaning and didn't have a rental agreement to read when we picked them up. Ultimately, I probably should have asked. All in all, a good experience.
Same delightful atmosphere as any other Home Depot
Good location. Easy to find stuff needed, and never to busy at the fort sask location.
Good experience in the appliance department. Helpful and candid advice on different model features and delivery issues due to the pandemic
Our go to store for anything they carry. Quality is usually good or better, and if you can't find what you need, there's always someone to help. Garden center was a bit flooded; I expect watering of plants, but giant puddles suck to walk through. Selection of plants was great this season.
Stopped in again to put in my steps. Love walking the aisles of the store as aisles are reasonably clear of obstruction and the products are nice to look at as I walk by. Employees are scarce today and the couple I did see were assisting customers.
Best Home Depot I’ve ever shopped at in Canada or USA. This place has a culture of service and care in its team DNA. Older staff, friendly, knowledgeable, fun and service oriented from the greetings to the managers this place gets it. I’m doing a home renovation myself now given these economic times and my teachers are Home Depot videos and Home Depot staff and I know accomplish things I never did before or knew I could. A DIY dream team. Thanks to all my homies at Home Depot Parry Sound
I was lied to by the manager/employee telling me my pickup location was Division Rd, however, I had a screenshot of the receipts (payment) showing my location as: Wyandotte. The employee (Robyn) who first spoke to me had a quite arrogant tone at the end of figuring out their mistake, I only hope it wasn't because I ordered just 2 items online.
Had two HD employees helping load my truck. Kudos to team work. Thanks
A great help
I need to say how disappointing the customer service is at this location. I work for a large plumbing company, as an essential service we have been extremely busy trying to keep up with all the work since everyone has been staying at home. Every time I go to this store I see large crowds of people not social distancing and absolutely no help for those of us who are still working. Having to wait in a long line of people buying "home project supplies" while those of us who are out working are given no other option but to wait in that same line. Our wholesalers are almost all closed. When I asked for help with this at the Millstream location I was told there was nothing they could do by an assistant manager who had very little professionalism. If you are a contractor or a professional please avoid this store at all costs. Every time I shop here I have a dreadful experience!!
I am a muralist in Fort Saskatchewan and I am here multiple times a week for paint. I cannot say enough about The staff in the paint department. They are always so friendly and professional! My #1 paint department in my books!
Most helpful team in St.Albert, they are usually informative and keen to help. I believe not every Home Depot is same like St. Albert’s!
Helpful staff.
Very knowledgeable friendly staff
Been here a few times. Each time I get here the people are always friendly and helpful. Especially the flooring guy, didn't catch his name but even though we weren't buying flooring at that time had information that is helpful in our future purchases.
Store messy with cement bags broken open on the floor etc, ect.
The item I was looking for was not where they had told me it would be, so I asked two other workers who then went on a hunt for me. It took them about 10 minutes to locate it but they went above and beyond to help me out! Great customer service, kind of unorganized store in that even their employees can't find their inventory
Good location
Great service, very helpful and pleasant staff
Had what I needed. Self checkout is open. Much better than the Lowe’s nearby which usually has its self checkout closed.
Always helpful, just didn't have what I needed.
Home Depot like to sell you items they don't physically have. Never order online from them. Selling on speculation should be illegal. Selling on speculation should be illegal.
It's a smaller home depot, but it's good in a pinch
Decent store with lots of stock but it's different to find an employee to help. The plumbing department seems to be the exception here. The older gentlemen working plumbing knows how stuff and is willing to help
Always been a huge fan of Home Depot and of course that's the only place that you can buy Ridgid Tools which makes it worth it but when it comes to Wood stock I find that what Lowes has to offer a lot of times is better quality than Home Depot
Horrible customer service! Woman spoke over me the entire conversation and would not let me speak to her manager. Ordered online and couldn't even give me an idea of where or with who I could follow up on my $1000 order with.
Helpful staff
Nice store, good and clean and organized. Helpful staff
They usually have a decent selection of tools, BBQs etc. And they have a great return policy if something isn't right with what you bought. Thanks HD. I will keep shopping with you.
Helpful staff. Good variety to select from. Very affordable tool rental prices. A+ Home Depot!
Customer service is was aweful
Typical Canadian Tire with very helpful staff. The store is always clean and well stocked.
This review is for the Barrie ON store!! I used to think highly of this place until I bought a fridge. I bough it on December 14th, they promised me it would be delivered before christmas on the 21st. I had no fridge for my Christmas dinner. I did not receive a phone call on the 20th as they had promised. I called on the 21st, They claimed there was no delivery detail and a glitch on their computers. We had to use coolers for our Christmas dinner. They then said it would be delivered on December 28th. Again same story, no record of delivery. I am angry and disappointed on the service. Went into the store and we were told, there's no need for you to come. Fridge will be delivered on December 31st though my fridge is already in Barrie, when the delivery company called, they said your fridge will arrive sometime during the 31st we were third in line! After all the waiting, lies and wasted time we were to wait again. I am angry and this experience has been so bad that I will never purchase anything from Home Depot I dont recommend anyone buy a major appliance there. They were dishonest to make a sale! I bought a fridge from a different major store, they matched the price and delivery was made already. Home depot doesnt care about their customers satisfaction so long as they make a sale!!! Horrible, unprofessional experience, the escalating department manager promised he would call me back and on the 30th and turned out the guy wasnt even working thst day another lie to brush me off!! People be careful of this store promises!!
Excellent service from Roger. We are renovating our home and the faucets I really liked weren't instock. Home Depot doesn't hold items that are being shipped in but Roger took my name and number to call when they came in, so I wouldn't miss out.
Never call this store, you will be put on hold 6 different times then hung up on..
Very helpful staff when I was looking for flooring.
Good place for buying your home items
Clean, friendly staff aren't too hard to find, no complaints.
Very helpful staff here in Parry Sound. I was looking for 1lb propane canisters as the other blue big box store in the plaza was sold out. HD had 63 packs of 4 in stock according to their web site but unfortunately in storage up high. No lift driver was available. The lady clerk was not fazed. She contacted her leader and got approval to package 4 individual canisters for me. Love it. Thanks HD.
Best prices on lumber in Parry Sound (by at least 15%) and they had all my products in store. Very satisfied.
Just needed to get some blinds cut, as I don't have a saw currently, or blinds. Waited close to an hour for the one staff member that knows how to cut blinds. And the army of other employees who "couldn't do it" were only able to look at me with blank expression as the continuously paged this one individual. My patience exhausted, I went to Lowes, got service immediately, and paid less for my desired product.
Worst customer service ever, a girl said she will go look for an item and she hung up on me, I called again and I wait 20 mins for one thing and now it’s taking forever for them to answer. Don’t try to call it’s a waste of time.
Good crew
Found what I needed on my own, usually the staff are not well versed in their departments.
Man, they have so much staff. Takes a lot of effort to dodge them all before being hounded if they can help you
They were helpful and I got what I needed
Recently did some home rennos. Before I got started, I checked their policy on returns. On the website, it said if you purchased with a credit card, they could process refunds without a receipt. Based on that info, I wasn’t diligent about keeping my receipts. I’m now finished my rennos, and had stuff left over that I didn’t use. When I came in to return the stuff, they said they couldn’t look it up. All they could do was offer store credit, which I didn’t mind, but it was going to be about $50 less than what I paid for it all, because it was going to be “the last sale price”. And, after going through all that, I went to the website chat, phoned their customer support, and that was all completely useless. Anyway, frustrating that they have that policy but aren’t able to follow through on it.
Great curbside pickup experience. Bought online then received email saying the order was being picked and to wait for email saying pickup is ready. This email came in 26 minutes. The pickup at the store happened in under 5 minutes. Very slick.
Very kind, patient and well informed staff. I brought pictures and a list, with their help I did a new installation for a dishwasher. They had all the tools an parts and pieces I needed to do the plumbing and electrical work, we also got a new faucet. Trim boards are still off in the photo.
Good service. Fair social distancing and wished more of the staff and fellow customers had been wearing masks. First foray out into a non-grocery store since February
Bought an LG dishwasher from Home Depot it was broken on arrival with an error code. Terrible customer service from Home Depot terrible customer service from LG Home Depot basically washes their hands of the problem even though they sell LG products neither Home Depot or LG stand behind their products they don't have a repairman in my area so I'm still waiting for them to figure out how they're going to send someone to fix the dishwasher if it can be fixed they will not take the dishwasher back LG will not take it back and neither will Home Depot. Zero stars for LG zero stars for Home Depot extremely frustrated and disappointed will never purchase appliances from either company again!
They had half the parts I required in stock but not the rest
Nice place to get building material
The staff here are amazing! Super helpful and always available????
They only install special orders not store items as I bought a steel front door they said only special orders.
Shoutout to Jamie at HomeDepot.. very nice guy. We bought 10pcs of 3/8 plywood. He cut it for us like how we wanted it. Jamie is the guy to ask if you guys need your wood cut at the cutting centre.
If I could give them a lower rating I would. We bought a floor model washer and dryer from Home Depot in July 2018. They subcontracted the delivery and install to one of the worst companies I have dealt with (B&N Deliveries) They smashed the closet door in the process, and denied it. They rushed the installation, left the instruction manual taped to the back of the unit, so we had no idea it even came with one. My partner was home and tending to our 2 year old. She used the machine once they had left, and I got a phone call while at work. The washing machine flood our unit, our neighbors unit, and leaked into the hallway, and basement. The installer forgot to check a clean out valve on the bottom of the unit, which was loose. But I guess that isn't his job to inspect the machine he just hooked up? Well, insurance came back and said he was not responsible, as he checked over the unit. So it's his word vs the home owner, and we are out a $2000 deductible for our unit + $5000 for the buildings deductible. I would never recommend this company for anything, and had I known who Home Depot sub contracts out, I would have done some research. So what's going to happen now Home Depot? My family is out a bunch of money for some negligent sub contractor that you hired to do a simple job. Way to screw the home owner. I'll take my business to Lowe's from now on.
Good staff, medium product selection.
The store is constantly short of stock, especially electrical stock. Being a former contractor, it was horrible to see that there was no 1/2" conduit in stock. I would recommend having your staff check stock on a regular basis to ensure the most common stock does not run low or not be available when people are shopping for it.
Excellent help in the plumbing department by Shawn, thank goodness! I wouldn't have had a clue where to find what I needed.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The store seems to always be clean and tidy.
A vast array of home improvement tools and materials. The people in the tool center are extremely knowledgeable and most of the other sections have employees with decent knowledge in their sections.
They never have anything in stock. And it takes the people who work there 30 mind just to find something
All of these really cool LED light fixtures that they are coming out with are so funky and I quite enjoyed well unfortunately I like my smart home devices so I have to stick to fixtures that can take bulbs like the Philip hues. I will never truly understand retail employees that persistently check to see if you need help with anything after telling them every single time nope I’m just looking at the lights to get some ideas I’ll let you know if I need help. Not too sure what stop there about that but not a fan of being pestered four times in like 20 minutes
I have always loved going there but there service has gone downhill so much that I now refuse to shop there. It's near impossible to get any customer service, and after the last visit of waiting for service for over half and hour I just left my items in the isle and left. I'm not sure why after going to customer service that they are unable to help.
Pretty good Covid shopping experience. They provide a mask if you don't have one. Single direction aisle markings. Not that everyone pass attention. Tidy, clean, decently stocked.
Black Friday event started November 12 and it is a disaster. I witnessed many consumers looking for help to find the items listed on the flyer. HD associates were very few and difficult to find. Merchandising a mess. Branded product displayed were messy and unorganized. Multiple attempts to get help to find several items I wanted was a complete waste of time. Why spend in advertising to drive customer to purchase products not on display, not easily found or not available. I left with no merchandise and went to KMSTOOLS to purchase the power tools I was looking for.
Found what I was looking for: Pre-hung interior door, valuepak of trim and some metric ???? screws. The associate that helped was friendly and helpful.
I go to this ace all the time ! They have great staff and seem to be on point with their information. It can get a little busy .
Excellent service and advice from Scott in appliance department, a pleasure to deal with. Update for Nov 2019: Kudos to Harold in appliances as well for being so helpful and accommodating! Today he helped my wife purchase a refrigerator for the non-profit society she manages. Thank you for the great service you've provided :)
Didnt have much selection as other home depots
Went to home depot stood in line ( the entrance to store) then after walking through the store to enter garden center as isial. Was told no entrance go back out side to a differwnt line and start all over again. Im now on my 2nd wait to get into store to purchase items.
Very friendly staff, alway ready to help you. Good place to get products you might need
I go to lowes now
Staff are very helpfull! Because the have the drive in closed, I had to load all the wood on a card and weel it out to the parking lot. Because the helpt me to load my trailer. So that was Ok!
It’s a small store but missing lots that the bigger stores have. Staff are good and knowledgeable.
Like many place I review homedepot in langford falls into the same category. Extremely understaffed. I hate nothing more then having to wait for 30 mins for someone to come a help me cut a piece of chain. Or when I can't find anyone to help me. The staff I do encounter is somewhat friendly and that's why I'm leaving a 3 star review. So if you go there, make sure you have lot of time on your hands and your not in rush.
I have very mixed experiences at this Home Depot. Best bet here is to utilize the online order & pick up system. Once I had to wait for someone to help me (item showed in stock at a location, but there weren’t any. Someone had to go get it from stored location) I found store associates that were clearly free & just chatting within themselves, but all they did was to notify the person in charge of the section. I don’t know if they don’t cross train, but had to wait at least 10-15min to get someone to come and hear what issue I was having and another 10min to get it resolved. A quick stop became 30+min endeavor. After this incident, I utilized the order online and pick up. It was seamless and got what I needed and out in less than 5 min using their pick up lockers.
Lots of choices...if you don't want to buy the product there is a huge line up of products you can rent as well....yes its mostly American imported stuff...but you can find pretty much everything you need for Home Improvements....
They have most stuff needed ,too many non contractors are taking up the contractor parking , most staff does the bear minimum, Just look at how many carts are in the parking lot ,
Long waiting time before my order was delivered to my car. It even needed a follow up just to remind them that I was waiting for a long time. (Curbside pickup)
Staff are knowledgeable, give good advice, even trade referrals.
This is my first stop when needing home maintenance items. Ive been shopping here since the day the opened and the service has always been very good. The selection is fabulous and they have good products by and large. Their return policy makes it easy to plan small jobs without worrying too much if you over equip. its my favourite home depot location.
I was very impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable both Ruthie and Bonnie were when I had to make two separate trips to Home depot on sunday.
Staff is really good and knowledgeable. By far the best store of this chain I've been in. It's very well managed. If you ever need appliances, Harold is a great and friendly guy to see about all your related needs.
Horrible

I looked for syber special. Nobody came to help even i was the only customer, almost anyway. I needed also filter for my furnace but i couldnt reatch and extension cord was twice as much as Canadian Tire. I went home and ordered everyting on line.
Best lumber prices in Parry Sound
The Home Depot is a amazing place to get what you need and the staff are great !!!
Home depot had what I needed but I wanted to rent a chain saw but that can only be done with a credit card but if your holding a prepaid credit card it won't let you so from now on I won't look at renting from home depot
Need wood. They got it.
The store was way too hot and had to leave before my shopping was done. Very uncomfortably hot but the staff was very friendly. I had asked about air conditioning and was told they couldn't do anything about since Toronto controlled their heat and air. what????
Went in clueless for LED bulbs. THANK YOU JESSE. People go on and on about the young generation. This young man was brought up right. So polite and helpfull. More so than someone just doing a job. You could tell he was a person who took pride in customer service. I got the bulbs I needed even though they were buried behind others.
I’m not the kind of person to leave bad reviews. As a matter of fact this is my first ever. My Wife and I were moving to St Albert from downtown. Finishing a Reno, and decided to buy carpet from Home Depot. Nothing complicated. Looked at a couple options on the 20th of Oct, and wife loved Foggy Day. Had Dave from advanced flooring come (who was great by the way),on the 22nd, who quoted us $7600, for 1200 ish sq ft. We decided to go with it on the spot, and pay him then and there to expedite the process. His laptop wouldn’t process the payment in our house, so had to wait 3-4 days until he pushed a quote through their internal system and to the actual store. We were to physically go to the store, pay them there, and they would set up an install date..... no big deal right? Our move in date was Nov 15, so almost a month away. We were assured the date was more than fine. We get a call from the store the next week, that the quote was ready and we could go pay. Keep in mind we’re driving from downtown, to North side of St Albert..we get there, and find out the payment processed when we received the quote almost a week ago actually went through, but St Albert hadn’t received it, and couldn’t push the order. We then get St Albert and their internal payment service on the phone with each other while we were in store, and they both acknowledged the payment was complete, but until St Albert had it, nothing could be done. We were assured by one of the managers there, he’d get on it, and would call us back promptly to get us an install date. 3 days later, we get a call to come to the store to discuss options, so we drive up again (3rd visit). We meet with 3 other people who weren’t involved in the first place, who tell us if we cancel the order, and buy a 72 hr install carpet, we can likely make the deadline. We’re almost 2 weeks into this, and not sure we will be able to move into our house now, as I’ve already taken the old carpet out and is sitting on subfloor, so we agree that we’d choose another option. At that point another lady speaks up and says “you can’t just cancel an order, we’ll have to charge you a 10% restocking fee”...... what the heck guys, you called us to come up here and discuss this. We didn’t ask to cancel and now you’re telling me for 760$ bucks, you’ll allow me to change order. 2 days later my wife gets a call from St Albert that she has to come back to the store (4th visit from downtown), complete a refund on the 1st carpet payment, and then replace the order physically in store. So she drives up while I’m at work, pays again, and after payment, they tell her they can’t make the 15th date, as it’s a special order, and would likely be the 19th. I tell them we’re moving out of our condo on the 15th, and the house is sitting on subfloor, we can’t move furniture in. You’ve got to be kidding me. I called and ask to speak with the store manager, who was unavailable. I speak to the manager (yasha), in store yet again in store (5th visit), who is apologetic and seems to understand our situation. She offers some sort of reimbursement if we keep the order, and tells us Home Depot would contact us after the install to discuss what form of compensation they’d give us. At this point we’re not paying 10% restocking fee to cancel, and really have no options, so we agree. Carpet install day comes and a great husband-wife team from Advanced flooring show up and work their butts off. I’ve got to say, advanced flooring was on the ball the entire time. No call from Home Depot. I call them December 1st to ask why no call. Other manager calls me back and offers $250 dollar in store credit. $250 bucks. I’ve came back to the store and subsequently purchased over $2500 bucks in paint, garage floor epoxy, floor sealer, cables, cleaning products, Christmas decorations and a pile of other things. Into Home Depot for over $10,000, and I’m offered $250 Ask to speak to GM. sorry he’s unavailable. He’ll call you back. Dec 6th I write this. No call. Should have paid the 760$ to cancel.
Great place and helpful staff, but they couldn't find me a spade shovel. It was in a bin, but they couldn't find it. Hmmm
Much improved,
Great place to go but i still no more than some of the staff
I have this little game I play when I go to the Home Depot in St. Albert. I look for an item for a long time and count how many associates walk past and don't attempt to speak to me or look away when I make eye contact. I get more points if I have to go to customer service to ask them to send someone over to help me. I win when no one shows up. Store is clean though. Good job.
Excellent and professional customer service from Prakash and Nadia ( she is the best employee in all home depot stores in Edmonton to say the least) in specific and all the staff in general are great, easly implementing Home depot policies compare to other stores and help me finds what i need for my business, recommended and they earn my repeated business with them.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have had incidient after incident where we were treated poorly and the customer service was atrocious. The most recent time we went there to buy storage bins. I asked my husband to go as I am 36 weeks pregnant. He went to the millstream location on a Friday and was told they were completely out of stock. So Sunday morning I decided to look on their website to see how many they had in now or at other stores. It said they had over 400 of the bins in store. So I asked my husband to go back again for me. He got there and was again told they were out of stock. Then after a few minutes they realized they were all stored up high and had none on the floor level. My first question is why didnt they restock the floor after it was brought to their attention on Friday that they were out of stock? The 102L tough totes are a popular item and it was only a matter of time before another person came in looking to buy them. He was then told it would be minimum 20 minutes to get them down because of "shift change" among various other things. My husband did not have time to wait so once again he came home without them. A few hours later I decided I would try to pop out and grab them. I just assumed after his last visit that obviously they would have restocked them but my husband cautioned me to phone. To my astonishment they still hadn't pulled them down to the floor. however I was transferred to a manager who assured me there would be three bins at customer service when I arrived. I went to the store 30+ minutes later and went to customer service. The bins were not there!! The lady paged and paged and couldn't get ahold of anyone in regards to the bins. 10 minutes later she finally told me they were at the back of the store on a forklift. She said the manager would meet me there. When I got to the bins there was no one around. Therefore at 36 weeks pregnant I struggled to pick up 3 massive storage bins and fit them into my cart. The manager finally arrived as I was about to head to the checkout. I asked him if there would be any compensation for this inconvencience. He scoffed at my question and practically rolled his eyes. Told me that they dont usually do that. And made many sarcastic remarks about wouldnt or be wonderful if things were always stocked all the time. He was terribly rude and unprofessional. I explained to him that we had now driven to the store 3 times for the bins and now my husband was not home to help me unload them or carry them up two flights of stairs at our house. He eventually said he would see what they could do and walked up to the front of the store with me. When I got in a line to pay he sarcastically remarked "we wouldn't want you to have to wait" and took me to another till. I was satisfied with the actual compensation - they gave me one of the three bins for free - and he said "there you go you got one for free" made no eye contact when I said thank you and walked away. The level of unprofessionalism and the terrible way I feel I was treated overshadows the minor financial compensation I received. I would go anywhere else to buy your home improvement goods besides this store. It is definitely the worst for customer service.
Good place to get what you need as it relates to home improvements.
Awesome
They have what you need, most of the time
Staff on the floor was lacking, but otherwise pretty easy to get into and out. Lumber area needs a little attention as there were alot of twisted or warped sections.
Ivan and Eva (not 100% sure of spelling). They were very helpful in helping us locate what we were looking for and is willing to call to make sure we get the item we want.
Cull lumber 70% off
Helpful staff and well laid out. A lot less busy then Edmonton stores which is great!
Amazing assistance from a man who knew exactly what I needed and knew what size of dryer ring I probably needed.
Everyone always proves prompt service and all are very friendly... The products I have purchased even 4 years ago (freezer) is still running great... At the time it really saved the day as everyone's assistance meant I did not lose all the food in my old freezer that died ... it was early evening but they helped with securing a delivery truck that same evening, as long as I returned before closing... All the help and service was great!!!! And still so very much appreciated. Have a great day!!!
We were pleased with the ease to return some un-used parts but their selection of screen/storm doors was a little low. That's ok, we can order one online and have it delivered to this store to pick up, so that's a great solution to carrying a lot of inventory I suppose.
"True service" Waste time and money.
Went last week for flower shopping. Good place to shop flowers and gardening tools and stuffs.
Dont expect customer service, good or bad. For the employees to wear bright orange you sure can't find help. Or they scatter when they sense your need for help lol. However, their return policy is great.
HD
Very helful person at the paintshop
Has everything you would expect at a home depot, friendly staff
Very knowledgeable staff. I have never had any issue trying to find stuff here .
I get stuff here for my house it's great
You could check their inventory online before shopping. Well organized. Most of the times help is available when needed. Return service is good. However, they are not the same level of inventory as 15 years ago, but still good.
This is one of the larger ones that has a better selection of most items, also seems to have more experienced staff which is nice when you have questions.
We usually have very good experiences here. The store is well stocked and the staff helpful. They've recently expanded their appliance section, too. The only issue we've had are special orders taking much longer than quoted - but this is the manufacturer's issue, not home depot's fault.
Very nope. I was approached four times asked me if I needed help I like that in a Home Depot
We spent approximately $70,000 at this store for a complete home renovation. We are one year later and we are still waiting for it to be completed with ZERO help from the flooring and kitchen departments. You should be ashamed of yourselves for boasting high sales numbers. This store brings true meaning to quantity over quality obviously.
Knowledgeable staff, very helpful. Had all the parts I needed for the job at hand
A very friendly bunch of people and just looking around led me to believe this a well run store people ready to help at isle it was great and of we bought more than we needed Jacques Charlebois
Great knowledgeable staff and good stock
Good staff, store is well organized.
Good customer service and knowledgeable staff.
Home depot appears to have everything I would be interested in. Everything is well organized and clean. My only gripe is - The few times I need to go to a store like it I can't find what I am specifically looking for. I think it's mostly unlucky. Small Example, I went in for M8x45mm and they had 1 (Needed 4 for my TV mount). I thought this was hilarious and the worker I talked to thought it was funny and strange as well. He was also hard to understand.
Understaffed and when you need help you cant find anyone when you dont need help they harp to help you
I ordered an item online that had four different parts/ pieces to it, initially I had checked the box to have it shipped to us. but two days later I recieved an email telling me that my order had been cancelled because of an invalid postal code!? Why they couldn't just contact me to say that they don't ship to my area was very frustrating... so I started all over again only to find that two of the four items were now out of stock and would have to be shipped to the millstream store for pickup... because I live a ferry ride away I didn't want to pick the order up until all the pieces were there, but after waiting on hold for an hour and chatting for an hour by text it wasn't resolved.. So the next morning I got up early and phoned and spoke with Lee, a manager, who was amazing and helpful and made sure everything would wait until the other 2 pieces were there, then phoned me at home to let me know when they arrived! 5 stars for Lee and 3 stars for the online order system!
I will try to explain our situation with Fort Saskatchewan Home Depot and what to watch for. We bought a door and when we went to pick it up my husband saw immediately that it was damaged. So he had not accepted it and required a refund. He went to customer service and asked for a refund which he assumed that the money would be put back on MasterCard. My husband never thought that the money would go on any account but the card with which he paid with. Well we learned the hard way that assuming that to be true is giving someone else your money. We get are credit card statement and the money was never refunded to our MasterCard. I call Home Depot and ask where is our refund, the manager says she will look into it . She returns my call and said it was put into an account with these last four digits. Will our account numbers do not match. She asks if we have another card with those four digits on it. No, we do not . Then she calls and says it was their mistake and our money will go back on our card. A month and a half later no money. We go to fort Saskatchewan Home Depot and get the run around. I ask them if they could look at cameras and he says they can’t see from that angle. Before saw the manager we asked the girl at customer service what happens when you return products and she said the money goes back to the card with which it was paid with. I said can it go on another and she said it goes back to the card you paid with. Now when l tell the manager that ,he said no it’s up to the customer where they want to get their credit back to. Well we went home and surprise Home Depot is calling, supposedly someone found a camera that saw my husband give them a black card. Well there’s the proof . I told him again that we don’t have a card with those last four digits. From today to when l first called Home Depot l have spoken to four different managers/ supervisors and nothing has been done to help find that mysterious card. Well my husband and I are over 65 and never been accused of anything. Except now when l speak to Home Depot employees l feel that they are judge and jury. And we are the guilty of a crime. That crime is not checking the refund slip to see if the manager was credited to our account. Anyone going to Home Depot in Fort Saskatchewan please check your receipts because l’m telling it well be hell to get your money back. Thank you for your time l hope this never happens to you. This story may continue and l will keep you updated. Again Fort Saskatchewan Home Depot Please please repost and thank you
Contractors and renovation people, support hardware stores like Home Depot. It is increasingly frustrating that items most frequently needed by contractors and Renovators are placed the farthest away from the contractor entrance in the store. I was a big fan of Totem Building Supplies, for this very reason. I did not have to walk diagonally through a store full of Martha Stewart nick-nacks in order to get to the plumbing or electrical supplies. I did not have to deal with minimum wage, English as a fourth or fifth language, employees in order to retrieve the necessary items to complete my job. Why am I having to approach three or four different employees before I can finally understand one? I don't care where you are from, and I don't care what nationality you are. What I care about is spending an excessive amount of time in order to have a rudimentary question answered because your grasp of the English language is nonexistent. As a contractor, my time is money. Home Depot does not care about my time.
Stopped in today and talked to Lynn who was extremely helpful booking my awesome deal on blinds. She's very knowledgeable and helped me make some wise decisions today
The Fort Home Depot has a wonderful staff that management should be very proud of.
Home Depot as usual
I had a leak in my house. I needed to isolate some pipes with valves. I found the ball valves but only the solder type ones. I wanted to find the shark bite ones but I just could not find them. I finally found someone to ask and they ended up finding them in a different spot. It was great to find the help but you would figure that all the ball valves should be placed in the same area, would you not think that? I also wish that the guy who helped me out would have pointed out that I should probably get the shark bite removal tool. I don't have one of those and I will have to make another trip to the store to get one.
I just live doing projects.. they always hsve what i need.. and everyone is always very helpful. I just always love it everytime i go.
Staff is always helpful here. Busy in the summer.
Jul 9 Joyce - an older woman at the customer service. I asked her to track my order from May 11th. She said it's a pick-up. I asked her to tell me when it arrives. She asked if I was asking about a discount. I asked her to look in her computer and tell me when my item is arriving. She said that it's a customer service and I'm blocking the line. I asked her to call the vendor. A local legend Shelly jumps in from behind the counter. Another older woman with the black bandage around the her wrist. She said that management cut the lines and no one can call the vendors any more; therefore, I had to talk to the kitchen and bath department. Kitchen and bath woman named Sandra 50+ sitting by her desk not in a good mood called some numbers and said somebody's computer was down. Sent an email to somebody, said it was completely useless and said that she would call me tomorrow Jul 10 after noon. That was one of my many trips to Home Depot related to the same order. Frustrating and extremely time consuming is an understatement. Jul 10 And Sandra didn't call me :(
Always have a good time in this place. Like Toys R Us for adults
Help staff, clean store
Terrible customer service. What is going on in there? I Went in to buy some paint and needed some help with where to find the color, but there was no one around. Some other guy was waiting before me for a while, so i went looking. I had to go locate a staff member who had to call someone from another department. When he came they helped someone else before me who came after me. No real communication on a line up when at least 5 others came and i was left standing there behind all these new people. I gave up and tried to figure out where the color was. Needless to say i couldn't so I left and will go elsewhere. Does anyone even read these comments? Looks to be a common thing. You lose money when you don't have enough staff to serve your customers.
standard fair
The store is meh, too cramped for the amount of stock they carry.
Decent prices, but always good to compare with some of the other building suppliers to makes sure you're getting the best price. Staff are generally friendly, but often aren't able to provide information that you'd expect them to have such as pricing, location, and accurate stock of items.
No reception for my phone (bell)., the most helpful person are they older fellows, go straight to them.. Lol
This place doesn't open until 9am on Sundays. The hours on Google need to updated.
Found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable, a pleasure shopping at Home Depot Parry Sound
John helped me with my fencing project today. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Made sure I left with all the info and parts I needed. The other staff were also helpful by stepping in when we had an aweful old couple give my wife a hard time about breastfeeding.
Staff is not very knowledgeable or helpful.
They had hardware stuff
Always always a pleasant experience here, staff are so helpful and friendly!!
(Translated) Grrrrrrreat (Original) Grrrrrrreat
Professional
Lots of people to help you out.
Wow it took forever just to get some concrete mix to fix a threshold
Good clean store but lacks in space which means some products they have to order
Huge store with a great variety of products, friendly staff & ample parking with easy access.
Hard to find an employee for help but had all the stuff I needed
Very helpful with their suggestions
Purchase a fridge from them full price, waited 3 weeks then they called that they weren’t able to deliver. Had to borrow a truck to go and pick it up myself. Managed to get $400 refund for the bad service. Now after 4 weeks they don’t come to pick the old one up! Amit the manager does not want to call me and hide in the back when I go to see him. I will post a picture of my old fridge on the on the Google and on the Facebook and make sure everybody knows how lousy HD service is. The fridge is sitting in my front porch not sure what to do with it. In couple of days I will drop it off in their parking lot.
Friendly staff, Very helpful.
Always find what I want except Bosh tools, better selection on such at Lowe's. Otherwise it's as usual, a standard for home improvement and garden.
I'm always able to find what I need for the jobsite and the service is supurb.
Always very helpful and friendly staff.
Goid customer service.but they dont assemble items you buy .like canadian tire
Very nice and helpful service
Great place for all your building supplies when they are not busy. If you know exactly what you want you can go in anytime and be out in 5 minutes. If you need assistance best time to go is at opening between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. . Or close to closing. Good luck but if you do find someone that can help you outside of those hours they are always very helpful.
They price matched on a DeWalt cordless drill that was the same style and make at Canadian Tire that was $20 dollars cheaper.
Quality products.
Their project team has tried to take advantage of my grandmother by invoicing her thousands of dollars for replacing a granite counter tops that they designed incorrectly. All approved pictures were completely different than what was actually installed and their customer service has been dreadful. Zero call backs - not customer centric at all! I highly recommend getting your renovation done elsewhere as they will take you for a ride with long deliveries and poor coordination with contractors of their choosing and an ever increasing invoice.
Always have a good selection of BBQ supplies.
Imagine trying to call this place...All I want to do is call and ask about paint matching. The paint department didn't answer so my call went to customer service, the phone rang for five minutes, then played commercials, then went to another department and rang 7 more minutes, and then just gets transferred and rings and rings.
I am an Electrical Contractor and needed a particular part i thought HD sold but couldn't find it. I asked a fellow, who grabbed another associate who picked it out right away. I admit I didn't think the staff would know what I was looking for but she nailed it right away. Very impressed and pleasantly surprised.
Got what I needed. Thanks
Best deals provided by Home Depot which you can not find even on Amazon. Outstanding Service available in each department. Clean and neat with lots of products available at low price! Kudos Home Depot!
Its a home depot... not much to be said. Didn't have what I needed but thats ok.
Quick and courteous, curbside pick-up didn't take long at all. Even offered to load it up herself but she already did her job when she brought it out to my truck. Excellent service, thank you very much St. Albert Home Depot.
Helpful staff but their stock is usually no good. Lots of common items missing and quality of some of the flooring and lumber my family has bought here has been pretty bad as well.
Fabulous staff who help their customers and are pleasant (even funny) about it. This store has a cutting station so you can adjust the items you are purchasing without buying 3-4 extra pieces of equipment? Helped by two different men and then the cashier. Some items slightly pricier but so worth it! Found all five things I was looking for and got help getting them into the car ! For sure my go to store from now on!
I bought a “LG” refrigerator. After 6 weeks the compressor died. HOme Depot didn’t honour their 90 day return policy. Now I have to wait 6 weeks without a fridge to have it repaired by the manufacturer who won’t say whether I have to also pay for the service charge. Never again! LG trash.
Walked in got what I needed the staff was great and Walked out in about 20 minutes
Wood.
I went shopping for new kitchen cabinets and appliances. Staff was very helpful. Good display of appliances in the Langford, BC store. I had a little dog with me and I was told it was ok. Nice clean washrooms. The store is very big.
I love this store. I always find what I'm looking for and MOST of the staff in helpful and quite knowledgeable.
i like the store, employees can be a little OVERALLY knowledgeable, for instance,. Employee - hello sir can i help you today? Me - no thanks i am ok. Employee - what are you using it for? Me No worries i am ok. Employee - gives me an earful because they sometimes need to prove they are smart but clearly are not very smart. If you shop here often, i am sure you have run into these type of home depot employees. Just annoying.
Pathetic staff, have to ask 3 different staff for a single component. Everyone keeps sending to different location. Finally I found part I was looking for went to customer service they told me they haven't heard of that product. Funniest thing is the item I was showing was from "Home depot" site. Really love clueless employees, I have the exact same experience with employees working at home depot for 20 years and 2 months. Home depot is an equal customer offender.
Cookie cutter big box store. However, some of the staff, when you can find them, go above and beyond.
Great service
Excellent service as always ( two gentlemen helped me load my truck) - nice to see from a box store. With one exception: the young man on the (lumber) cash register. Never friendly, always treats customers as though they are a burden to his time. Too bad.
Very nice got some nice flowers at Floramere flower booth. They are very friendly there.
I always come here but this time it was HORRIBLE! The only thing that made it great, was Cale at the cash register! We were entering the garden centre, not knowing there was a like since there was NO labels whatsoever! We walked in and a young brown haired boy said: “haha these people REALLY don’t care” Nancy then said “EXCUSE ME! GIRL AND MAN! get back in line please.” She was horrible, and rude.
Love going here for plants, great selection and healthy.
Automated phone service sucks! Press 1 for store hours....I press 1...I'm sorry you pressed an invalid number, try again! Uggh.
Doing a renovation near this store. Really nice and helpful staff here. Bought tons of stuff from them and got some good tips as well. Will be buy lots more from them
Everything you need for building or Reno is there. A little tough at times getting knowlegable staff to actually help you
Have always liked. Home Depot but were met today at the garden centre by a very curt employee. We had our small dog with us who had been with us on every other visit to the garden centre. This employee told us we were not allowed to bring him into the area and asked us to take him out. We would not leave him the car so we left to purchase elsewhere.
On the floor helpers, not very helpful. It seemed like you needed to be female for them to show much interest. Bring your wife or girlfriend, might help. Other staff was good!
Great places always friendly
My experience here is that I buy what I want and move on. Some area for room for improvement is paint department to have above average knowledge on interior design… it’s nice to buy products from someone more knowledgeable than normal customer ….this applies to other competitors as well… overall I’m satisfied .
Normally this store is very good, staff is generally knowledgeable and friendly but today I went it ask to talk to the manager in appliances, and he was terrible. No clue if he was the actual manager, but he acted as if he ran the CIA. Asked about purchasing a floor model appliance and he acted like I hadn’t done my home work and wasn’t cooperative at all. Might be a good place to buy you simple your supplies but don’t buy anything major from them.
The fort Saskatchewan home Depot was a pleasant experience with plenty of helpful workers that were nice and informative. Happy to be part of the fort sask community now. So far all my experiences in the community have been positive ones.
I shop here fairly often, so I know my way around. If you need help it's sometimes a little hard to find, but the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Went into store on a Thursday to order 2 windows. "Sorry the window dude is on lunch" (at 4 PM) . Returned next day to order the windows, (again 4 PM) place is deserted, had to search the store to find someone who could page the window dude. After waiting 20 Minutes gave up, Lowes is not very far away. Because of the lack of service Home Depot won't see me anymore.
We went to build for the kids. It was a lot of fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Has lots of outdoor plants Prices are reasonable
Garden center was laid out well, plenty of plants, although garden accessories, hanging planters type seemed understocked. Staff was pleasant
Great experience renting a trencher from this location. Great staff. Al and Brad were especially helpful and we're very efficient at their jobs.
I called to ask about renting an aerator. The person who answered the phone was rude, dismissive, unhelpful, and said "I don't know" several times. He seemed irritated, as if I was interrupting something more important. A customer on the phone is still a customer. I called also called Lowe's, and although they don't offer tool rentals, they recommended another place that does. THAT is good customer service. Thumbs down, Home Depot.
Staff are really helpful and friendly. Understanding of medical exemptions. Always a decent selection of products at this location. Curbside speed of service is relatively slow which is the only reason I didn’t give it a 5. Sat in my car for over 20 mins both times I used that option vs going inside.
Great selection. Fair prices. Staff were friendly and professional.
I love to shop at this store and the most of people are very helpful. Previously, I had a bad experience here. However, recently, I went to buy the washers and dryer here for our mom and ourself. The appliance specialist, Harold, was exceptional and very kind. I didn't expect this kind of excellent service at any store in town. Very helpful and kind and we really appreciate his help. This changed the previous review completely. If you need large appliances, I definitely recommend to talk to Harold.
Great store to buy tools at, if you can wait for a sale a good chunk of everything in the store is usually included in the sale
Friendly staff
Love this place. This is where we go whenever we need to get anything related to the house. Most of our tools are Ryobi, which is a Home Depot brand. Really good and affordable.
After the delivery company failed to show up at the designated time, twice, I asked Home Depot for a refund on the delivery fee I paid. They declined. As a result, I am returning the order if it ever shows up and I cancelled other orders I placed with Home Depot and purchased elsewhere.
Good pricing here. I usually shop around before I buy and many times I get some good deals here.
Tool rental staff were great. Had what I needed and helpful.
Fast order-picking for curbside. Just a few hours, and i can continue with my projects. Lowe's still has yet to get back to me, four days after placing my order with them.
Stuff doesn't seem to align to the aisle signs or the website, but staff are super helpful and got everything sorted for me.
It's a great convenient location with decent help.
They don't sell mattress, but other it's are excellent ????
The only reason it isn't a one star is because there isnt a ton of other options. I bought a place recently outside of town and as such we have been steadily making upgrades. I have come to dread anytime I need to go to this home depot because it has been a head ache most of the time. It has taken me 5 trips into town to get blinds. Every time there was an issue of some kind , more than once the issue was that there wasnt anyone in the store that knows how to use the blind cutter , of course they only found this out after many pages and about an hours worth of waiting per trip. More recently it is that the blind cutter is broken , not only at this location but both locations within an hour drive. I wouldn't normally have an issue with this because you could just call ahead to make sure there is no issues prior to making the trip, however this isnt a option because I'm not convinced people actually answer the phone . After a few almost ten minutes of ringing attempts I have given up. Other departments I'm sure must be better otherwise the location wouldn't still be running. If you require anything to do with the blinds department this should be considered a last resort only.
Great customer service!
Everything for household, good service.
Great service and selection
Had what I needed. It's home Depot, no surprises.
What you'd expect from a Home Depot. Clean, large, organized and well-stocked. Reasonable prices with some good sales. Like all warehouse stores, service can sometimes be a bit hard to find, and quality depends on the person you find: varies from just-ok to excellent. No different from any other. Not a fan of the self checkouts, but there's usually a staff member available. Customer service is quick and painless for returns or exchanges in my experience.
You can be pretty certain that you will find what you are looking for. Staff is very personable and knowledgable...will assist one on their quest. Lumber is of superior quality and better priced than their competitor in St. Albert. Our preferred place to shop for building materials...and misc.
I purchase today a detacher electric .it was the floor model. (sunjo)the men at home depot when out of is way to make sure I had all the part and the original manual, very please with home depot, they always save me money,I certainly would recommend this place.
Here often. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Can be hard to find someone for a specific department sometimes but they're all in radio communication together which means you can go up to anyone and they'll help find you the help you needed.
One only bug for me ....the self check outs. A recipe for theft ... I want a human to check me out . I hate being forced to check myself out. One day stores will realize the value in interaction with customers as a way to keep their business...psychologically speaking, shopping is a practical, educational and social event. It's not that I want to be coddled, it's that it's nice when someone smiles with their eyes , scans your stuff, notices imperfections, tells you about sales related to what you're buying, asks if you need help to the car and wishes you well . The other option store owners seem to be going towards Is I come into the store, I find what I want , I scan the thing myself and bag it and I leave. Maybe someone says have a nice day, maybe not. Not keeping connections going on a human level makes everyone less caring. So what if Joe has a card with a cheaper code on it and that's the code that goes in the machine....
What's with the environmental fee? Just another money grabbing scam.
Just great.
Minamal stock And NO I don't want a credit card Paul!!
Google says open until 8pm on Saturday but the storefront says 6pm. It is closed at 6pm Saturday night.
Only garden center has in store shopping.it's really pricey but good selection, authough the hanging baskets are well price at only $12! Parking lot of a mess with all the direction arrows, it's like parking at DTE at ozzfest ! Ok????????
I stopped by there around 6:15 pm today to inquire about an air conditioner and the woman working at Customer Service was so rude! The customer ahead of me in line ended up leaving the store too. Home Depot on Millstream lost business because of her poor attitude today.
Best store in its kind..always there are staff to help you...great attitude.
Visited the garden centre. Home Depot helps make our yard look great.
Husband got tools for work and we got them for a decent price on sale
Went in to buy a new shower head 15 minutes before closing. Hubby had given me make and model I just needed to find it. When I couldn't I searched the aisles a bit and then looked for some help. I found an employee coming up an aisle and asked for this help. He stopped what he was doing. Said if course he could help me. Answered my question - that's yes there were other places that I might find what I was looking for, not just the giant display section of 100's of shower heads. Then he asked what type and said I think those are over on aisle X and took me right to them. Great customer service!
Had the best customer service at St. Albert Home Depot from Sheila, Lao, Beth and all the helpful Kitchen design staff at HD while renovating our kitchen and bath. If you are looking for quality products and services for your home renovation projects, look no further than your local Home Depot!
They put the pot in hone depot, largely due to the respectable selection of indoor, single-plant gardening solutions, oft referred to as "pots" by plebs and the like.
Who does not love this place
The store was small and didn't have what I was looking for I was in cottage country and wanted to get a Axe and torch fluid and could not find anything.
Get the deals while they’re on, and always check the clearance items!
Great help from the painting department staff this morning to help me track down all the odds and ends from my Ducan liquid deck project.
Was surprised I asked a young guy about risisto where it was , he wasn't sure but immediately found someone who could help
What can I say... I love DIY. A relaxing evening is browsing the lumber isles and playing with the display appliances :). The st albert location has always been good to deal with and friendly staff. The folks at the paint desk usually seem overwhelmed busy so if that's the kind of help you need, best to time your trip in off hours.
Store stock is poor, lack of products that are supposed to be in stock and lots of products they don't even carry.
Manager was so nice! They stocked the wrong product in one spot and I grabbed it and I was the wrong price so me and the manager helped me out to buy the perfect combo instead for a good price, I couldn't get his name but was a great guy (home depot in Fort Saskatchewan) thank you manager lol
Great staff. Good selection of products. Great for home improvement needs.
When I know what I’m shopping for and where it is, employees don’t approach me; however, when I come in and have no clue if what I need even exists, they’re on me like firefighters on a pole. How they do that!?
The staff in the Tool department is great. They really know the products and take time to help you make a sensible purchase.
Awsome customer service everyone there was so helpful
Excellent service and assistance. Return/exchanges are customer accommodating. Been to other Hone Depots, but this is one of the best for customer care!
Best store in the world. Greatest deal great products great service.
Ordered some siding for a repair and I was able to find a match for what I needed and when I ordered it I arranged for delivery of the 12' long pieces because I do not own a 12' long truck (makes perfect sense). Fast forward a couple of weeks my product arrived at the store and now they are wanting me to pay $60 to have it delivered because they say it wasn't arranged.
Poor service always have to hunt for someone
Good service
People working very friendly and ready to help.. shelfs very organized
Jim was very helpful helping me find what I needed
It's ok. Sure, they have everything. But Home Hardware is so much better. Very friendly staff, and it's a Canadian company.
The people I encountered were very polite knowledgeable and very quick to bring you up and get you on with your day I'd like to thank all the stuff at home Depot for the help that I received
This is a great store, someone is always willing to help you find whatever you are looking for. I like their return policy especially on plants because you just never know. I always keep my receipt and there is never an issue.
Jo Dee helped me and was very good. Very informative
Home Depot has drastically declined in its customer service skills. 5 years ago you could walk in and every employee was asking if they could help you find what your looking for. Now they just walk by you no greeting, no nothing and even if they see you walking around in their department and see you can’t find it. They ignore you and when you ask them they act like your putting them out. Not all employees are this way but this Home Depot, I have found has a large number of employees that just don’t seem to care or completely lack and customer service skills. Will go elsewhere.
Had what I needed and service was great
Hope a store manager sees this and can address customer service desk training. I bought a Cadet Bathtub with Right Hand drain a couple days a go. When I opened it up today, it turned out the bathtub has a Left Hand drain. I double checked to box and receipt - both say RH. I came back to home Depot to have it exchanged. The tub I bought originally was open box, so I figured that the mistake happened when it was repackaged. I went to the returns desk to have it exchanged. I asked to confirm that they actually have RH models in stock, the lady said that she does not know and I have to go to the tub section to find out. I guess checking in the computer for a customer is outside of scope of her duties? Whatever. After she refunds the tub, she makes a snarky remark that when I go to pick out the new tub I should make sure I look at the tag and get "the other one" from the one I have on the receipt. Clearly she assumed I made the mistake of not checking which side the drain is on. I quickly explained again what had happened and that the tub was packaged in incorrect box to which I got an "ok". I go to the tub section, pick out new, packaged RH Cadet tub, but peek inside one of the handle holes to make sure it is correct tub inside. Does not look like it. I ask one of your employees in kitchen/bathtub section to open it up, and sure enough, LH tub in RH box. That employee helped me open up another one to find correct tub in correct box. You can check with that section to confirm this is what happened. They will probably bring it up themselves (I hope). So in the end I wasted like 2 hours going back and forth loading, unloading and hauling a bathtub because your packaging is wrong, and almost wasted double that with another tub. Instead of some kind of apology or at least understanding from your customer service staff for the troubles, I got snarky remarks trying to make me feel like an idiot. I don't want to post the name of the rep here, but will gladly provide it privately.
Always found good help... Employees are nice and eager to help, like going there.
Do not understand why they insist on calling this a pro desk, it is a glorified name for clerk. They do not compete with their prices but state their prices are lower than the competition's. I would check that out, in addition to that I have been given I correct information on 4/5 deck boards. Pro? Really....
Great staff easy to find stuff
Helpful staff and knowledgeable
Good help if you're looking for something
Difficulty with getting help. But, once I did it was ...ok.
I have called both stores in Windsor and no one answers. Called paint department to as a question. Terrible customer service snd frustrating to not get someone after a very long time not answer a phone!!
Good customer service and they help customers with all the technical questions.
Bought a brand new LG washer from Home Depot. Gets delivered yesterday. Thing doesn't work. What does Home Depot do? Nothing. Won't even take back a product that doesn't work. Never ever buy an appliance from Home Depot Worst service ever.
Still can't remember her name in paint but she is an amazing help last night and today she gave me the best customer service I've had in a very long time. Extremely helpful and even helped me in paint color choices and the one today matched my other paint perfectly. It's so nice to have someone know how to treat there customers. Could not say enough good things about her.
I came here looking for some parts to fix my faucet in the kitchen. The team member in the plumbing section was super friendly and helpful.
Big store with tons of great stuff and the staff has always been helpful
I spend 10,000 of thousands at this location they wasted over an hour of my time standing at the till waiting for them to figure out there systems.
I was there with my sister and brother in law and family. They picked out a Christmas Tree. It is really nice and the staff was very helpful. I did some shopping around and I must say the staff where very helpful and . It's so nice to go to a place like that and get the kind of service you would expect. Your staff is well trained and helpful no question . Also the ladies at the front tills were very pleasant aswell. Keep up the good work.
Worst experience with getting a new kitchen ever! I dont usually write reviews but im hoping i can save some people from making the same mistake we did. We ordered a new kitchen in mid November 2020, we recieved part of the kitchen that they had in stock that day and the rest we waited to come in. After most of the kitchen was in we where missing 3 drawers for our pantry (which we still do not have when writing this review in May 2021!!!) then after this every single cabinet door and drawer was staining and you could not get the stains out and half of the doors that where shipped in where damaged and unusable. We complained about this and they ordered us new ones from another brand. We have now had no doors on our kitchen at all for about 4 months (because they had us return all the defective doors). We called in after we returned the defective doors to see when the new ones would arrive just to find out the new order we are expecting had not even been placed yet so they placed it that day. We finally received our new doors in May which i have been slowly putting in because the hinges are a different style so i have to measure everything exactly to ensure it all fits. I also have to drill out all the drawers to mount them and still do not have a template to do this. On top of all this we are missing 9 of our doors which just never got ordered. DO NOT ORDER A KITCHEN FROM HOME DEPOT, we know plenty of other people who have had good luck with Lowes and Ikea so i suggest to give those a shot.
I was not impressed with this store they didn't have any treated wood the employee was quite rude. He said they don't order any, because no one builds decks in the winter and we said that we needed to build a wheelchair ramp right now, and he said oh well we dont have any, so we took our business to another hardware store. The home depot has lots of items but I dont suggest this store.
Couldn't tell us where refrigerator filters were. Didnt even want to look up on computer. Went in to purchase air conditioner. 20 minutes later we got it and female in that department was not very nice. She had no people skills whatsoever. Never had a bad experience there before seemed like new staff everywhere.
I was looking for CIL Decorative Bark Chips to cover my backyard. I found the last 3 bags but needed 12. Staff were very helpful and checked stock to find more and then brought the 9 bags to me at the checkout. Thanks to the Home Depot staff, my backyard looks amazing!
Great service! Have only shopped here once but it was memorable in a good way. Employee went above and beyond to be of assistance and even insisted on having my item carried out to my car. Appreciated!
Nice staff
May have great products and somewhat fair prices but don't staff need a lesson on being courteous!! One new employee was willing to help but needed assistance. The person that was asked for assistance was rude and had a scowl on her face!! Will go to the other store to shop instead!!
We bought a Ego brand leaf blower and used it twi times, stored the battery and charger indoors for the winter. Used it two times this year and battery is no good! They won't replace the battery for us. Will shop at other hardware stores from now on because Home Depot will not back their products when they are defective! I would not give the one star but you are forced to in order to post!
Some real nice and helpful sales associates who go above and beyond. Other older associates, when you ask for assistance, couldn't be bothered (ignore like they don't hear you).
Great staff friendly and reliable for all your projects needs.
very bad experience, they are not trained, to serve the public, they do not know anything
Constantly understaffed when you're looking for something and can't find it staff aren't forthcoming to help. You need to instead stand for hours in lines at a desk until you can see a customer service rep to help you. Just overall pretty terrible customer service and labeling of isles.
Never had a bad experience at Home Depot. Staff is always helpful and returns if necessary are no hassle.
I had the good fortune to have Paul Nickelo assist me when searching for appliances for a new house build. He took time to snswer all my questions, made suggestions about reliability and local service for products, checked for availability within my timeline and and we stayed within my budget. Great job!
Got what I needed. Back out of the store quickly
The most recent visits have been disappointing. My previous experience at this store has been good but lately I have noted that sales staff are not around in the areas at all, not knowledgeable about products or they ignore you and continue to walk on. Terribly disappointing from previous shopping experiences.
Love wrapping paper
Took a while to find someone who could help me in the end left with out what I wanted.
Hired Home Depot for a countertop install. Worst install job I have ever experienced. Months to complete this simple install after countless emails and phone calls. During the install they managed to flood my entire kitchen. Now we need new flooring and cabinets AND will need the countertops installed again. Horrific customer service.
Seriously, why are there so many employees and no one to take down the shed I need in the garden center! I waited for 30min and still no one came. There was one very helpful employee but unfortunately she couldn't support our request. Management, figure this out! Poor reflection of management capabilities!
Best place ever. Friendly staff willing to help you out and get the job done
When ordering online for curbside pickup DO NOT use the text option detailed on the parking stall signs. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for my order, and then called to find out they hadn't even looked at it. I was the only person there and it took over 30 minutes for me to pick up 1 item. Call them to make sure someone is aware that you are there!
Came to home depot needed help with a solution for a seat of antique chair. At first no one had solutions just pointed to the lumber or couldn't give a solution. . But Sohail came along and helped with a solution as, well as cutting it for us. He also helped us take it to cashier and find a cart to haul it to our car. He was very helpful in choices with other items needed. He went above and beyond in customer service and knowledge. It is the second time helping us with our needs.
Please teach your garden centre staff when to water plants… your whole garden centre is full of fungus gnats and every plant I brought home had mold on the roots and is soaking wet. You don’t need to water everything everyday… take a chill pill!
Amazing selection of tropical plants and such a good price!! 8" monstera deliciosa for $20, 6" fiddle leaf fig about 2 ft tall $15. Mind blown!
I recently purchased a bunch of flowers from the garden center at this location and the sales representative taking care of the plants there was extremely helpful and friendly in locating everything I was looking for. I could see that they really cared about the flowers and plants they had there and they looked absolutely beautiful!! I almost bought every plant! Thank you!
hard to find staff who seem interested in helping.
Smaller version of store. Drive-through lumber yard is closed for winter and poorly maintained. Was not designed for northern Ontario. Very pushy appliance sales. Customer service desk is very helpful but many of the staff on the floor have limited product knowledge and I always double check any advice I receive
This location has wonderful and very helpful staff.
I spend $10000s of dollars every month in different stores but mostly Home depot, be cause of their competitive pricing and excellent customer service, But Deepak which is one of the managers been extremely kind and helpful every time I need help and in my last week visit, she went beyond my expectations which I need to say thanks to her . Awesome job
Update: Saturday Morning- Went to store to pick-up vanity. The pick-up went very smoothly, was less than 15 minutes and they had me loaded. Cheers to the store staff. Spent 7 hrs. having a vanity rerouted from home delivery to store pickup last week. Truck driver just phone saying he was in my driveway. Sent him to store with it. Call the store (50 minutes on hold) to tell them it was on the way and I'd pickup on the 29th as arranged and the girl says she doesn't know if they can receive it because they're not taking returns. I just want to pick it up at the store.
Website was easy to use. I placed an order for baseboard moulding at noon and it was ready for pickup by 2pm. I got 48' of 4"×7/8"×96" moulding for under $40.
Probably the worst home depot I've ever been to, but it's all we've got in Fort Sask so it will do.
I have been going to store for 20 years. I have yet to find a helpful sales person. I have gone to the store several times when they have appliance sales and have seen hour long lineups because only one person is assigned to the depot. I was genuinely interested in purchasing an appliance but wasn't able to stand for an hour or more waiting. If they are no going to provide sufficient numbers of staff they should provide a waiting area with chairs and water. Not everyone can stand for an hour or more.
What a great start to the morning: Needed some materials, stopped in, and left in an even better mood. Such friendly staff and always so willing to help you out. Much different than any other Home Depot (or other big box store). Too bad you can't share your level of service with the rest!
Employee told me to get a real job, and that I was a criminal along with other profanities, and proceeded to follow me around the store. I have a well paying job, i am 34 years old, clean cut, and wearing expensive clothing, so my looks wouldn't have been a factor. I then went to the manager, and she was acting as if, I was feeding her bull !!. so in my opinion, the employees there are horrible people !!! and I will never shop there again.
I just called to find out their hours on Easter Sunday... tried to reach different departments, including the Customer Service Desk, but no one is picking up the phone. Waited for 20 minutes, but I think that's enough, so I hung up. I have purchased in the past from Home Depot, but their service is getting worse, that's for sure. There's always someone who picks up the phone at Lowe's, in my experience.
Most of the staff doesn't have a clue! A few of them run the whole place!
Rude manager in outdoor section. No customer service at at all. Home Depot website shows two items available in the store. When you get there and ask for product. The rude outdoor manager says all our product is over there . She ignores you . This is false advertising. After arguing about unavailability of advertised product the rude manager says we can deliver it to you for $120.00 or you can rent our van for $74.00. Not great service. I bought a similar product at Lowe's who have superior customer service compared to home Depot.
Barry from the appliance department did an exceptional job. He helped us pick out the right dishwasher. Explained the timeline for installation and set up the paperwork. The delivery and the installation by Just Done!, went as planned within the expected timeline. The dishwasher works great. Great place to buy appliances.
My go to. They treat us well there.
Always great customer service here. Great selection.
Good selection. Helpful staff.
I have been to many Home Depots. I have noticed over the last year or two that your attention on customer service has gone way up. I have had the best so far at the Home Depot in St. Alberta on St. Albert Trail. I am renovating my new home here in Edmonton and have been coming into the St. Albert location for the past two weeks. I find it not as busy as other stores and I have never had a problem getting someone to guide me in my purchases. Jamiel in blinds, Marc Nick and Albert in appliances, Rimo in paint, Ryan and Christine in customer service to the man greeting me at the door have been knowledgeable and accommodating with my renovation needs. Thank you
Very handy but seems under staffed
Crazy fast. Parked in the curbside pickup spot, parking lot was full of customers. set a timer to check their speed. Order was in my hands within 4 mins 50 seconds. This was the fastest curbside i have ever used.
Terrible curbside service. Follow the curbside signs until they end and then it's anyone's guess where you're supposed to go. Cars driving every direction, entrances blocked with only one exit; however, no signs indicating where the exit may be. Heading anywhere else next time.
The staff are super friendly and helpful! Special THANK YOU to the staff that helped load 64 cases of flooring into 2 vehicles by hand! If they didn't help I would likely still be there!
Had multiple bad dealings with the Langford staff. I paid a lot of money for an incomplete kitchen. I had to finish caulking because the installer ran out. He put a dent in my new fridge. They didn't build and install the valances as I paid for them. The installer ripped off my under cabinet light, so they were ruined and I had to replace them. Home Depot said I should have taken them down first, this after I asked the installer who said he would do all of it because I paid for the Premier Install. Home Depot said they would charge me another 400 dollars to install the valances. I paid 40 dollars worth of material and did it myself. There is much more, but I don't have any space left.
Always friendly staff here. Never have a problem finding what I need.
Didnt go in
Our sales girl was super helpful
Good luck getting a hold of them. I’ve called multiple times now and keep getting placed on hold. After 30 mins of being on hold, they hung up :) phone customers are just as important.
Good shopping
The place is a mess, carts and ladders in aisle, one way traffic is fine, if you keep them clear. Clean this place up , seems like there is plenty of works talking.
Very under staffed. Tried calling all day and no answer. Went to store and no one to load truck.
Best home Depot ever. Everyone is very helpful always.
Not usually the one to complain but we just bought an air conditioner from home depot that was covered in blood. Looked like it was returned and never inspected. Been calling customer service for almost 2 hours with someone hanging up or auto hang up every 15 minutes. Everytime we speak to the same guy frkm appliances he does nothing to help but try and transfer us over. It literally takes 2 minutes to go talk to someone. Thought I'd share our awful experience with them
Good place for the diy er
Great staff at this location very helpful
Every Dad's favourite store?
Clean and very friendly
Well, here we are waiting 20 minutes on curbside pickup. No one else is waiting! I called them twice, the lady would not wait for me to give her any information, just said I will let them know and hung up. Twice. Piss poor customer service. Why have curbside pickup? They obviously are unorganized and don't care how long people wait. At least call or email us why we sit here and say there is a delay. Why email and say put order is ready and then it is not ready! Finally, 25 minutes later and someone finally brings it out. Next time, we go to Lowes.
Selection is good, the prices seem a little high but guess that's everywhere nowadays!
Got good service and quick
Large store. Great staff
They took out the subway. Good. I don't like subway. No military discount so that's disappointing. Staff is knowledge. It's a hardware store. Not sure why you would read a review for it.... Go buy a hammer.
My partner recently visited this location to purchase lumber and other supplies for landscaping. The customer service delivered by the associate Keilan was exemplary — he was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Good compartment brand name, contractor type, tool box. Great price on sale. If bought on Home Depot credit card you have one year possible return. Just pay it off right away.
Like a toy store for larger boys
Great service....very helpful employee
Terrible time trying to get interior and closet doors from there. Closet doors were delivered, interior doors were not. Shambolic customer service on the phone. Went in-store and Brad in customer service made sure the doors were on the truck the next day. Flooring was on sale, so we hesistantly went in and Shirley helped us out. Shout out to the both of them after a disaster start with Home Depot Windsor East.
Nice people, good selection, very helpful and if item not in store, easy to put in online order
Five stars for John in Flooring. He was a superstar! Very helpful. He went above and beyond to assist me. Heck, he even sent a follow-up email to me for clarification. He was awesome! On the other hand, trying to navigate through the phone system to return an item over the phone was a bit of a circus. Good people, but a wonky system that appears to be understaffed.
I use ALL the box stores in Parry Sound. The staff @ Home Depot are friendly and mostly quite knowledgeable. If in doubt, ask for the expert in the department before entertaining questions that require trades knowledge. The outside yard drive through is "golden" when picking up multiple items, or heavy bags of concrete/mortar. Quick and easy most days.
Walked in, look for help. Asked customer service for help to get chain measured and cut. The lady at costumer service paiged someone to the isle 14. We waited for someone for 12 to 13 min and just left the store. Went to West Edmonton location, and they were very accommodating.
Drove 20 minutes out of our way to buy a specific bit that said there were 48 in stock at this location only. Surprisingly, there were zero bits at the location and not even a place for the bits to go on the wall. Sub-par customer service when we reached out for assistance which solidified a poor review and avoiding this location in the future
Be aware picking up online orders at this location!!!! Today we picked up a trailer to attach to our lawn tractor after purchasing it online. We pulled into the curb side pick up and a trailer was brought out to us and loaded into our truck bed… right away we noticed it was missing parts and was rusted. We inquired about the missing pieces, however the associate that brought it out was unable to comment “I just bring things out”. We unloaded from our truck bed to realize it was more than just rust and missing pieces. It was dented, scratched muddy, included no parts or user manual/instructions… obviously used. We brought it back inside and asked for a new trailer. The new one they brought out matched the one we had paid for online, was larger and a completely different model than the one that was loaded into our truck. They 100% tried to pull a fast one on us. Had we driven away with that trailer we may have never noticed it was the wrong and cheaper model. Once again they accepted the banged up used one back into their stock and we believe it will 100% be sold to the next person who isn’t as diligent. Please be super careful with your online pickups here! Will not return to or recommend this location.
Purchased an expensive rug here for my first home. From the very beginning, quite a lot of fluff and fabric would come off constantly from it. Tried everything they recommended to fix this issue but nothing seemed to stop it. Contacted home depot multiple times, only for them to tell me it was normal for "shedding" to come off rug and to wait it out. I contacted them again recently to say that it's been 8 months and it's still an ongoing issue. They now are saying I have to contact the manufacturer as my home depot warranty is expired and that it sounded like a defect all along. For a big store, horrible customer service and return policy.
Our order was ready for pick up on April 28. The Store Manager on duty Sat May 1 repeatedly told me he could not reinstate our cancelled order because the system was automated. I explained that the 4 day time before cancelling an order had not lapsed so it should not have been cancelled. I was frustrated.. When I became stern, he threatened to ban me for life. More poor leadership. Disgusting customer service. They cannot sanswer the phone in a time when people need work. Absolutely failed today.
The staff is very helpful. My only complaint is like Walmart they are getting away from cashiers, I don't like that there are no cashiers at the regular checkouts!!! People need jobs, and since these companies don't pay me, nor do I get discounts for self check outs I refuse to use them!!! Otherwise always happy to shop at Home Depot !!!
Picked up eaves trough supplies for my gazebo quite easily. In and out nice and quick.
Horrible service. I attempted to call customer support just to get a receipt and after 15 mins on hold it went straight to ringing over and over for another 20 mins. Watching as it would light up hold and then off hold. Some lazy employee needs to be dealt with.
Helpful staff when you can find someone
Awesome experience returning a propane bbq in exchange for a gas bbq. Our condo don't allow propane and found it a dilemma after purchasing propane last month, Jody who helped with exchange today, gave us top notch service and made the exchange great
Lucas in appliances has restored my faith and made me update my review. He was with another customer when I came into his area. He acknowledged me and indicated that he would be with me asap. I was looking for an Insinkerator. He showed me the one his mom has and is happy with. We looked at other options together then he asked if I needed electrical and plumbing help too. A very nice experience! Bought some lumber. Asked the cashier if she could find a pair of pliers to pull out some staples that were sticking out & was told no. Not great customer service.
This Home Depot is one of the two stores in greater Victoria. Their prices are very competitive and they have a meet and beat policy. I bought most of my home renovation needs from there. Staff are friendly and very helpful. If you do your homework and check the lowest price for the item you want to buy just go there and they will beat the lowest price you find by 10%. Great policy. I saved big dollars utilizing this policy. Also their return policy is excellent. The only negative thing I need to mention is they are always short of staff to help customers. They need to hire more staff so customers do not have to wait long time to get help from experienced staff. I still give them five stars.
After Three associates sent me on a wild goose chase through the store,I couldn't find what I was looking for. They just pointed fingers with directions. I did see many men where helped and walked to their needs. Finally an associate lead me to the aisle after I told him my delema,he didn't even say "I m sorry for your inconvenience, just pointed to all my options and left, not even a good luck or thankyou.
Sometimes some good deals but if I'm looking for some nuts, bolts or fasteners, Home Hardware is usually better.
They respect mask exceptions very nice shopping there. Lovely employees
Wow our salesman whose name is Bill was fantastic when we were in there buying a new barbecue yesterday! Extremely helpful and had a lot of information about the products if he didn't have it he would get it for us! They have a great selection Natural Gas and propane barbecues! Would definitely recommend Home Depot! And ask for Bill!
Very, very bad service. Unpleasant people especially that ones with second English speaking language. And if you complain about someone they support each other. Lazy, slow, unpolited. Not wiling to talk at all. Not having basic knowledge of department they are appointed to work. They don't care about anything. I told the guy that I have broken back and he didn't want to help or to call someone else to help me loading my stuff (curbside pickup) Good luck styling with business with people like that
Just bought a dishwasher there and the guy was so nice he did a price check for us and got us 100 bucks off!!!
Thanks Gaby for cutting my blinds with such precision, they fit perfectly!
Very polite and attentive. Help me find what I need quickly. Cut any wood purchases to size. Good stock and variety. Lots of parking. An overall great store.
The deals are better than any other home depot
Best selection and prices. Just can't beat it even if it's a bit farther away. Good homeowner support in regards to appliances, flooring, etc.
"Half of a normal Home Depot" Everytime I desperately need an item for my cottage it's always out of stock at this store, or they don't carry it -and you have to order it in. This week for example; my roof was leaking bad on my RV camper I needed a 5 gallon pail of roof sealant( a common item) I figured the Parry Sound location would have it -Wrong!! They had zero in stock and said it would take over a week to get it in .I had to drive over 100 km's return to the Huntsville or Orillia store to get what i needed..The Huntsville store had 7 in stock and the Orillia store had 6 in stock.Do not depend on this store to have what you urgently need - pickup what you want at other Home Depots on your way to Parry Sound and save yourself a trip.
good
It wasn't the pro desk but the store. Placed an order for custom closet doors Aug 11. 4 to 5 weeks I was told. No call no email I finally had to go to the store again just to find out what was happening. Oh it was delayed it will be in by Oct 23. Finally got a call Oct 29 to come pick it up. No apology, no giftcard to discount to say we appreciate your patience. Just pick it and go. Would not suggest you order stuff there.
Arlene from the window/door department was the absolute best to work with! Arlene took the time to help us make our configuration for our window & door side lite and told us about the upcoming 15% off door sale!! We are so happy with the customer service Arlene & the Home Depot St Albert team provided so THANK YOU!!!
Worked with Rod in paint and the help and advice was excellent. The product is pretty good too.
Bought our new kitchen here. Sue the kitchen designer was great. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.Covid-19 made delivery and Installation tricky but Sue helped us every step of the way.Very pleased with the finished product
Plumbing department is just disaster, half of copper fittings missing, always have to go to Lowe's after Home Depot.
It was a great experience they were friendly and willing to help
Terrible service! A lot of the staff have no knowledge of there department. Staff are snappy and miserable.
Great service! I want to thank the store manager for helping me to get the right replacement cartridge for the shower valve. This allowed me to fix the problem and turn ON the main water valve again. Greatly appreciated.
Love this store . Friendly helpful staff.Took no time to get what I came for and the price was great.
Service and selection are usually great but with lockdown, it takes days too get anything. What do you do in an emergency?
I had an exchange on a kitchen tap and was assisted by Sheila. In the plumbing area. This lady goes above and beyond in assisting customers. She has helped my family on numerous occasions, is knowledgeable and so helpful. 5 stars to you Sheila
Need for traffic control in the yard. Summer drivers aren't smart enough or courteous enough on their own. Staff are helpful for the volume of people
Went to buy a piece of wood, which I needed to have cut into smaller pieces. Looked around the department for someone to help with the saw, but couldn't find anyone. I noticed there was a phone by the saw to call for assistance. Tried three times, but no one answered. After unsuccessfully searching once more for someone to help I gave up and went somewhere else. Maybe they were short staffed? If this is normal staffing levels, it is unacceptable, and I wouldn't risk wasting time to go back to this store!
I've shopped in lots of Home Depot here and in the States. This has got to be the worst one I've ever been in. I've been in the store several times hoping this time is going to be a better experience. NOBODY (staff) ever offer to help you. You walk up and down the aisles looking for stuff & staff to help you. You then find a "cluster" of two or three of them having a personal conversation. You almost feel like apologizing because your interrupting them! When you do get to ask they just say "aisle 7" or suchlike. They DONT take you to the items your looking for. Others might as work in the Goodwill Store as they have absolutely no clue on what is "stocked". Even their prices there are higher than Home Hardware. Be a cold day in hell before I go back there.
Very helpful stafg
While trying purchase lily's that where posted at 2 for $10, was bullied and basically called a liar by cashier at 1:24 pm on the 29th June, 2021who said to me after taking my money she could swear. I have never been treated so badly in my life.
Poor. I have never been more frustrated with the lack of common inventory. The staff suffers from a general lack of intelligence or motivation. Unbelievable! Whenever I go there there is only about 3/4 of the ingredients I require, thus the job cannot be completed. Don't waste your time.
Found everything I needed and also received some advice from one of the staff on sanding trim and doors. Very appreciative
Good to go
As others have said, this store is quite small and under-stocked. Do get a bit tired of the staff walking around asking if i am going to put this purchase on my home depot card.
Great staff
It's home depot it's always Great!!
I’ve been trying to call in to speak to someone in flooring for the last 4 or 5 days but the phone just rings for ever. Spoke to someone in customer service, they tried to find me a manager and couldn’t. They just transfer me to flooring again, again no one answers. Tried to call back to customer service, no one answers. Does anybody work here??
Very slow process in online order. No customer service. I don’t even think it is qualified as a homedepot store. I decided to buy the same stuff in other homedepot store after wasting lots of time in this store. So I cancelled my 2-days ago order. This store didn’t even provide a cancellation email. However it sent me a pick-up email at 4:29 am, which is 58 hours later from my order time and 8 hours later from my cancelling time. Anyway, this confusing email made me cancelling the order of same stuff from other store.(BTW, this store generated cancellation email immediately.) Then at 6:58 am, I finally received their cancellation email. After 3 days, I lost my order and my interest to this very low-efficiency and arrogant store.
The associate was very courteous & helpful.
This store has something for everyone but not always a specialized tool or the best quality. But is always good value for your dollar. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Alright
Came in looking a small piece of cold rolled steel. I had the SKU and everything. The staff claimed there was 9 of them in the store but there wasn't a bay specified so they could be anywhere. No one at the store thought it was strange that they have items for sale on the website that they physically can't find at all. They literally lost the entire section containing cold rolled steel. How is this a functioning business. Oh that's right, by gouging people on wood prices.
My wife and I had an above and well beyond experience with Penny at the Langford Store. She went well out of her way to insure that we were completely satisfied. She started helping me on the phone just before closing then called me back the next day to inform me that the Cayman Egg chairs had been received to the floor and would be available for pickup. I explained that the website was not allowing me to hold the chairs and my wife was on her way down. Unbeknownst to me she had set aside 2 chairs for us and coordinated the pick with my wife. That level of service is unusual these days, let alone at a box store. I was impressed and I thank you Penny for your help.
Very convenient ans the staff are always helpful.
Staff are unaware of scanners code of conduct
I went in looking for a battery powered lawnmower for my dad. The service was good considering they were understaffed for the amount of customers.
Went to buy an electric snow shovel for my husband for Christmas, the assistant manager Garth or Grant? Recommended I buy the snow jo small electric snowblower instead. Kudos to him it was only $68 more and it is a really slick product. Thanks for your help, it was. Greatly appreciated, awesome customer service all around at this store,
Curbside pickup, waiting over an hour and a half. Wasnt super busy outside maybe 40 vehicles in the lot. I may be lucky but this is the single worst experience i have had with a business
Big store, has everything
What can I say. they have almost everything I need and I get an awesome deal with price matching between here and Lowes. they also do the Kids workshop which my kids absolutely love. Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and organized.
Needed parts for a BBQ .. they had it.. lots of neat stuff to see.. good size tool rental area too
Good
Ok place
Always have what we are looking for!
No complaints, just like any other Home Depot. Staff is usually helpful.
Normally trying to get through to customer service at this location is horrible. However, I went in store today and had a great experience! A lady helped me with more than one item I was looking for. Walked me to all the different departments made sure I was taken care. A couple other store associates helped us with some heavy items up high. Had my vanity sent to the front for me, helped load it all. Just all around good experience.Definitely felt like a v.i.p!! Will be going back for me next reno!
Everything you need pretty much at One Stop Shop, Associates kind and knowledgeable and fairly courteous. But not Canadian
Easy drive through section to load and pay
Bad enough IF you can find someone who works there, they then act like you've disturbed them by asking for help. Lumber is the only department I have never had an issue with. And now, trying to call and inquire about a product, they won't even answer their phones!!! Been trying for a couple of days already. Good thing Lowes is across the street!
I like the place because they offer great discounts in good things.
Very disappointed, my mom bought a gas stove before Christmas, it finally arrived 2 weeks ago (not the issue) and no one would show up to hook it up, a service that my mom already paid Home Depot for, in spite of many calls and visits to the store, sleepless nights, 15 hours on the phone over the past 2 weeks, 3 no show appointments from the gas fitter at ResCom and now you won't take your stove back because she has had it more then 48 hours!! Shame on you. Edit: my mother refuses to have any more communication with Home Depot, her stomach does flips just thinking about having to deal with you again (she has been on the phone with every department and personally drove back to the store and spoke to someone in the department, she was left on hold numerous times, disconnected, no call backs, no apologies, and given misinformation) she has had to hire her own gas fitter to come hook up her stove, perhaps she will be able to get her new stove out the living room this week and into the kitchen where it belongs.
As seniors we shop very early....so this morning we practically had the store to ourselves. The -30 temperature, ice and snow likely kept a lot of folks at home. This store is much like other Home Depots in what they have/sell. Staff are pleasant. We knew exactly what we wanted and knew where it was so we didn't need any assistance....but 2 staff offered, which was nice.
I spent an hour wandering around looking for what I needed. Was not asked once if I needed a hand or if you found staff they avoided eye contact or pretended they were busy. Sure miss the small hardware stores if this is how the big guys act
They were closed after their telephone recording said they would be open.
Had almost everything I needed. Didn't expect it to have the one thing it didn't.
The staff is what sets this store apart from the rest. All are helpful and friendly, every time.
Service was fine
I was helped by a young gentleman name Patrick, who ran over to help me as soon as he saw me toured me to all the products I needed and gave me very helpful information. Cole on tills was also great. Keep up the good work
They don't answer the phone or keep you on hold for a long period of time. Their staff is very unorganized when asking a staff member or if you can ever find staff.
Ft Saskatchewan Home Depot was great we had to get a bigger load of lumber. There was CS in the store to load onto the cart and then outside to load on to trailer.
Polite staff and well stocked
Always a great experience here, helpful staff and great prices
Exspensive to shop
Customer service at this location is always great. Whenever I have a question I track down a guy named Damon, he seems to know where everything is or whatever I need for every job. At winter season they are always on point , easy to see the massive difference between them and Lowes as I have gone to Lowes/Rona maybe 8 times and yet to be offered any help as opposed to Home Depot where if you stand still for 30 seconds someone offers you assistance.
Nice clean store, like all the rest of them. A bit smaller, so not always stocked up. OK, so I don't know why this is, but EVERY Home Depot employee has something called employee empowerment- they can give anyone 50 bucks off a decently sized list price. It's online info. I've had NP with south, west, and 137 ave locations, but for some reason the St Albert store refuses to give an inch. It's like they take it personally-something which the higher up's at HD specifically tell them NOT to do. My tip if you live in St Albert: go buy all your big items at Skyview or West End. Why deal with uptight A-holes???
Great store, positive environment & massive selection
Service at this Home Depot has declined since reopening after the covid-19 business shutdowns. The workers don't care about the customers or their experiences anymore. It's a struggle to find anyone to help you when you need them, and even when they know, there is no pride taken in doing their job well. It has been my first choice for home and garden needs for over 10 years, but I won't be returning.
great service from Christine
Had everything I needed for a job. Some of the staff do not know their department. I asked for a hardware piece and the associate had no idea. I found it 10 minutes later.
Quite helpful staff
answering the phone would be a basic service you think the branch might want to consider. I've called about 4 times in the last 40 minutes, have been told to wait on hold and then hung up on multiple times. I'm trying to accept a quote a contractor sent me for a garage door opener. if there's a way I can do this online please direct me there because clearly first thing in the morning, after 9 am, your staff aren't interested in answering calls from customers
They have a sale on appliances but they didn't have any in stocks.
They had what I needed. So, Ya it's OK.
Had exactly what I needed. Friendly staff asking if I needed assistance. Friendly checkout staff waiting to help me. Thank you for all your help.
Horrible customer service. Tried calling a handful of times and no one answers the phone. As bad as shopping in store and trying to find someone to help you. Typical Home Depot.
I phoned ahead to ask if the store hade the items I needed to do the job I had to complete. The store staff were very polite and put aside the items for me , so they would be secured for me when I got there. I was very pleased to find my items on a cart when I arrived. Thank you to all the people at the Fort Saskatchewan home Depot. You saved me today .
This particular HD is one of the better ones I have been to. The staff are helpful, and knowledgeable. They often go the extra mile to help out. There are particular staff that stand out, but honestly I've yet to come across one at this location that has given me a negative experience.
Staff was friendly but not alot of employees so had to wait for help.
If you need something today buy it from here. If you can wait get it from Amazon or somewhere else. They really inflate their prices. I bought a kreg clamp for 45 buck and seen the same one on Amazon for 30 bucks with free shipping.
I was able to find what I needed and one of the sales associates helped me right away!
Thank you to Tim S. and Team - for their exceptional customer service, and for sorting out a specific issue affecting my order and pick up handling.
Terrible! Staff are too busy visiting to assist, found most department specific staff making me feel like I was holding them up. The cashiers are very nice but too bad impressions were already set. Management needs to be replaced. I had to go to a location away from my hometown to get quality service from staff that cared. Shame on you!
It's too bad that the staff aren't as knowledgeable as they were 5 years ago. Fort Sask needs a Lowe's
Did not go to the pro desk. Asked where to find pulleys, was given clear directions to where they were. I bought one & went home. Great service at this location.
Same old home depot but nice helpful staff
Good customer service and good prices
Love their kids workshops they have. It's free, easy instructions, great staff to assist and they are always easy but require tools which the kids love. Nice clean store. Friendly staff.
The gave my wife a Pine 2x2 and told her that that was hardwood as well as giving her a #2 robertson bit when her list that I gave her specifically said countersink for the 2 inch # 8 screws that she was to get for goodness sakes if you are going to have folks work hardware and lumber at least folks should be trained that pine is a softwood and that a countersink is not a #2 robertson bit
Great customer service. They went the extra mile on a recent medicine cabinet I purchased there that had the wrong hardware from a previous customer returning it.
Home Depot has really done a great job at the click and collect. Easy signage and relatively quick to bring products out.
I had successful visit and got everything I planned to buy and some extras because of a good sale offer. I was really impressed how many time staff wanted to help. Everyone was really friendly in this store.
This location has a lot of great employees that are super helpful. The store is always very clean and organized.
Awesome place to find what i need! i could spend hours in here! customer services was very nice! this is my go-to home depot!!
I have had really good help with my online order today , thank you Home Depot
The Gordon Head store has seemed to improved its organization. It's better to get to this store as early in the morning as possible as it gets extremely busy later on.
I had a good experience at Home Depot yesterday with a young lady named Jo Dee (I think) who bent over backwards to help me choose a barbecue. If she wasnt sure of something , she looked it up for me. She stayed with me right through the checkout process as I had the 10% off letter and was not taking it home until today. Great service which is rare these days.
Great Staff, but being a smaller store does not have everything!! But they will tell you where to get what you need!!
Great folks to work with. Good deal on snowblower.
Excellent service. Just wish they allowed dogs as I had to leave someone outside with our dog. We cannot or wouldn't leave our dog at the cottage alone for over 3 hours for our round trip. Cottage is not air conditioned and is very hot.
Always a pleasure going to this Home Depot. The floor staff are always super helpful and have no issue going above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for.
The best customer service! Thank you to all the people who helped us buy a mini fridge. Getting it down, carting it to the front and even help loading into the van. You guys are great!
Lots of classic and antique cars here. It it a shame that spectators only get to look at the cars from the front and behind a barrier but it is understandable due to the number of vehicles on display and the limited space available. Definitely a recommended stop for lovers of beautiful old cars.
Well 1 for 4. I have used the online ordering and Curbside pickup 4 times now. First time waited 35 mins in my truck and called the number repeatly and got a voice mail. One order, they just cancelled some of the parts I needed without ever speaking to me. 2nd time I waited 47 mins, the guy in the curbside pick up next to me was calling and calling... last time I had to go in again because no one answered the phone number on the sign. Today I went in because the WIFI wasn't working on my phone. Joyce (the Home Depo staff) ignored me while she took her good old time logging in. I showed her the order on my phone and told her I came in because no one answers the phone, and I am in bay four for curbside pickup. 20 mins later she showed up and asked to see my ID. She left a cart with a sheet of drywall, 4 2x4s and a bucket of sealer behind my truck and left. As she was walking away she yelled I should have picked my supplies up inside... so I loaded my truck... and left... I'm high risk for COVID because of an airway issue... and apparently Home Depo Langford answering the phone number on the sign for curbside pickup is too complicated. Oh and I'm still waiting after over 3 weeks to have my visa credited with a $55 order I cancelled because of all the parts I actually need got cancelled rather than waiting until they were in stock... the $55 part (slip resistant reflective tread)... apparently my refund has been issued on 08 Dec 20... but still on my visa... on 21 Dec 20? I left Home Depo today and thought... are they actually trying to discourage customers from using the curbside pickup... or is it just bad employees... I think it is a management issue.
Tim from Millstream Home Depot is the most helpful and knowledgeable person there! He has sorted me out of two problems so far and is very reliable in providing great customer service.
Went in an hour before they closed and the staff were so helpful! Was directed to the first tool I needed to pick up and then went to pick up some lumber, that's why the 4 stars instead of 5...lumber quality is garbage from their suppliers! Not the first time we picked through a skid to find a few good ones this needs Home depot's attention.
Most people are nice here. The hiring standard for the paint section however must be to hire the most abrasive dried up old sows anyone ever met.
Door greeter sent me to wrong place in store. I called earlier to see if they had whT I needed. Talked to someone and they said oh yeah we always have lots of those. I said just calling to make sure you have product. Person said ok put me on hold then never heard back. So it was a big waste of time.
It took 5 workers to bring down one box of roofing nails. This was after the girl tried to tell me that bostitch guns only work with bostitch nails. And then she couldnt even identify which ones were roofing nails. I had to show her 3 times. Then she couldnt reach them so she got an old man to try who couldnt reach them and then they started talking about using a forklift. And 2 others came over and all 4 of them stood there staring at this box of nails until finally one guy comes and climbs the ladder to grab it. As the girl and old man warn him that the box might to heavy. It weighs about 10 pounds.
For the most part they have what you need. It's nice the app will tell you the isle and bin a specific product is in. Going through the 2'x4' bin will take some time to find ones that are almost straight.
Great plant and seasonal selection. Helpful friendly staff. Need more than one staff on paint counter.
Good people, great selection
Thank You to Susan for your excellent customer service. She went above and beyond finding me the right ' ingredients ' so I could transplant my succulent plant. ????????
10 stars if that were possible for Amit, the store manager. Despite the fact that he was busier than heck and was doing triple duty during this unprecedented pandemic time, he spent the time to listen and resolve our dilemma regarding our purchase of an Amana fridge purchased one year ago which malfunctioned during the 13th month - to the point of non-repairable. We did not buy extended warranty insurance. Amit was calm, professional and very pleasant as he patiently listened to our convoluted but true situation and simply replaced it. Big box stores like this with the appropriate managers will bring customers in time and time again. Thank you Amit - you are truly an asset to your company.
I can't wait for this to all go away..... The staff has always been amazing and the store has always been great...... I miss the store.... Just wanted to send out a huge ' Thank You!! ' to my fairy god mother working today !!! Can't thank you and your team enough ..... Thank You ! Stay safe and be well !! :)
Usually has what you need
Trip#1 bought two window blinds. Then, 2 more trips to get the correct end caps for these blinds - one trip for the upper caps and that hardware package had the correct upper end caps but discovered the bottom end caps were too big after getting home. A one hour job took a day and a half, partly due to the traffic coming and going to HD.
Would advise against going to any home hardware location, washing the store down with buckets of used water, customers must touch a cart that every other customer has touched in order to enter the store at all, thats after the fact you wait in a line next to 25 other people for 10 minutes. Horrible response by home depot, disgusting and unsanitary.
checked online for an air conditioner, said it was in stock at this location, went inside, not a single air conditioner, the staff had no idea and kept bouncing me around. after 5 laps around the store, i left and ordered it online. called about delivery service, was given a 2 DAY window of possible curbside drop off. time, in which i now have to schedule off work. i live in an apartment building. was told after explaining the situation that they would bring it to the hall. called the delivery contractors, no such arrangement was made and was told that the service person blatantly lied to us and explained what would actually happen. That i would randomly get it dropped off in front of my building and that's it. I look forward to having my product stolen and I am glad someone else will soon have my product. will never buy here again.
Needed help/advice for doing a floor in tile. Store was not busy, there were lots of employees around. Approached one to ask for help. They call someone from the area to come help. Waited 20 min with no one showing. Approached another employee for help. They call to send someone over. Waited another 15 min, no one came to help. In a store that isn't busy, with plentiful employees that are not busy, 35min of waiting and still not getting help is pretty terrible. I will be going to Lowe's from now on for my project needs, and i will not be back to home depot again.
Purchased plumbing supplies. Managed to get what I needed but employees not very well informed. Took an hour to get. Little copper fittings and faucets. Like the place though usually have what we need.
The staff and delivery here go above and beyond! A special thank you to Rodger in flooring who assisted me in adding needed flooring supplies and to Nathan who delivered the flooring. Nathan you are amazing! Thank you for maneuvering the pallet where it needed to be ~ very impressive!
Knowledgeable staff.
Very good customer care.
Great staff. Low on some stock
My husband and I were looking for a new washing machine. We went to home depot in Fort Saskatchewan, which is the closest city to where we live. They don't carry any stock at the store and have to get it from the warehouse which is a $50 fee. We will never purchase appliances from Home Depot. We ordered on line from Lowes and even got a discount.
2 cashiers with a long line up. Young fellow in tool rental offered to ring my purchase in. Greatly appreciated
Lots of people to help you but not very knowledgable on alot of products.
The store is a bit of a mess....navigating is cumbersome with customers not following the COVID directions....otherwise has pretty much anything you want...
Poor selection of outdoor furniture and barbeques and no one around to help. The man is customer service was very nice and pleasant though.
Excellent hardware store. The staff are very polite and professional.
Nice and laid back
I bought three appliances and then my reno project fell apart and I had to return them 4 hours after buying them. It was an arduous process due to the retro refrigerator I bought. It wouldn't return simply so it took many phone calls and two trips out to the Langford store to get it returned. It was frustrating but So-Ann at the customer service desk tried to help me the first time and succeeded the second time. She was professional, courteous and made it obvious she really wanted to resolve the matter. So Home Depot gets four stars instead of one, despite my frustration because of the quality of service I received from So-Ann.

Only store I have been to in a while that not only had one person ask me if I needed help but four
I'm curious why all staff don't help in all areas? Looking for rugs but a staff member said he couldn't help because he's in plumbing lol so we left
Not a fully stocked store but has most of the things I need.
Good store.
Tools
Always well stocked and friendly staff
After wandering 3 loooooong aisles as per the advice of an associate "it's just down there on the right" I was at a loss- the aisles were desolate and how I wished for someone!...anyone to appear in my desperate hunt for cedar shingles *I needed 8...maybe 10- Then, from out of the sawdust laden aisle came Kyle ???? Man glitter Kyle clearly knew what was up and my somewhat dashed hopes turned into pure euphoria ???? when Kyle, the avid Avenged Fold Seven- never knew what that meant- tattooed band lover came to my sweet rescue, alas, he was, as all the others before him...bamboozled Zero star review No cedar shingles 5.5 star employees
Awesome people to deal with
Great service. Suggestion to rent equipment rather than buy if very occasional use. Plumbing snake for floor drain was required. Rental office was helpful in explaining equipment options. Everything worked out.
Fort Sask homedepot always seems to have staff to help rather then hard to find staff. Well done!
I'm trying to purchase a Rigid cordless hand grinder from your store for my son in law who lives there. Your website doesn't work, I reached a gentleman who works at your Langford Home Depot and he refused to sell me the grinder over the phone with my credit card to have my son in law pick up. The Rigid tools I use are only sold at Home Depot, so much for customer service, I can still purchase items over the phone anywhere just not here, if your website worked it would be different, poor customer service!!!!!
I was there right as they opened! So bright and clean and the staff was, as always, very helpful and knowledgeable!
Very helpful staff.
Amazing service, we purchased a floor model fridge and Keri and her team provided us with great service. Other Home depot should learn great customer service from Keri.
No longer had any of the items we bought in the last 2 weeks
Wide selection of tools. Staff is helpful
Awesome services, everyone that walked by asked if we needed help
Go to buy a washer/dryer combo. Guy in that department repeatedly ignores what colour we want, keeps engaging other customers in small questions while putting together the quote. Then at the end, turns out he forgot the pedestals we wanted under the machines. Instead of remaking the quote - I get a "your young, you don't need it". Cool cool cool - Lowes is down the street and was actually cheaper & more helpful.
They need to give mask. Other protocols are in place
It was not pleasant. I asked for a plumbing assistant and no one appeared. Homedepot is losing it's touch with professional service. Plus your purchasing department needs to improve for small items that should be on the shelf
Very prompt service! The attendant was at my car before I even sent a request. Received my correct internet order!
They have moved things around in the store. Shower heads are now in 2 totally different spots as are dome faucet sets. Otherwise store is the same. Specials are in aisles not really close to where they are found on a regular basis so you need to hunt for some things.
Clean and amazing customer service.
Good service
Great staff. Some aren't pros but will always point you in the right direction. Other staff members really are pros with tons of knowledge and always willing to share some advice.
Great place to shop
Had to purchase water filter and inside fridge filter. Wasn't sure but the gentleman working there was very helpful and pleasant and friendly as well. Shop at home depot for most of our needs. Good choice of products too.
They always have what I need and more! Great staff, clean store. I was in and out in a few minutes and bought more than I went in the store for.
They had what I needed
Was in and out never had a problem lots of people to help you out
Went to appliances, in need of stove. Ted was awesome, he was very helpful and gave great customer service. Will definitely be back!
It's a little hard to find help usually, but their website does have all the info you need. I like being able to know exactly where items are by searching them in the web store. I kinda wish I didn't have to smell Subway every time I go there either. We have 3 Subways within 3 blocks.
I finally found what I was looking for. The price was a bit high but at least they did have what I was looking for. I could not find an employee that was willing to answer any questions. I had no problem with service at the competition down the road
Hardware aisle was a real mess. Lots of different nuts and washers all mixed up. Size and type. That's mostly due to ignorant customers but still, you should send someone done there to sort it out daily.
Well stocked, for all your home improvement projects and outdoor spaces. Fairly knowledgeable staff. Great selection. The best lighting selection and great prices
I WISH I COULD GIVER LESS THAN ONE STAR. You pay before receiving any service, you have a contract with a delivery date, and you get a phone call after 5 weeks informing you that your order will arrive +13 weeks.
Great staff
My personal favorite for all your home do it yourself projects. Very competitive pricing, great service. This sore Hass all you need for equipment rentals as well. My #1 reason for choosing Home depo is the amazing return policy. Receipts are emailed electronically and kept in store on file with your card. This makes changes very easy and simple.
Great customer service ... staff so friendly .
Everything you need to work on any of your projects in one place ; with great people willing to help you out.
Went to buy some power tools and a few other things today, staff were very helpful and were able to give me advice on the products I was looking at. Ended up getting some M12 Milwaukee products on sale, great tools! Used them today. Very happy with the products the employees recommended!
This Home Depot is spacious and well laid out. Great customer service.
Lacking quite a bit in its products carried compared to other locations. Staff are friendly and helpful. The yard staff are great.
Absolute worst home depot I've ever been to, they never answer their phone, they throw you on hold for 30 minutes then they hang up on you, the employees there are all rude and don't want to help, they don't care, absolutely no drive, they're using the lockdown so that they can ignore customers and not have to do any work, they've never answered my calls, I have urgent matters regarding my order I need to discuss, but they don't care! Go to Windsor south store if you value your time
Your prices on smoke /CO alarms are double that of everyone else prices. $65 for a basic detector is robbery.
If their site says they have < 10 pcs of the item in stock, don't bother going. They might have none of it. Seems to be the same for all Home Depots, their inventory control needs improvement. And we're talking stuff like whole sheets of material, stuff it'd be rather hard to attribute to shoplifting.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Always willing to help.
Luv the store and when I need something I know who to look for, his name I'd Damon and his section is tool but he know where everything is, they need people like this in every store. Another person there is Brooke st the Pro Desk she always there to help you. This is the langford store.
In and out with a full order in 15 minutes. Just the way I like it.
Friendly service, while not being pushy. I have the terrible luck of coming to the Home Depot when they're doing inventory change, so the app's location of items is totally off from where things are.
Went into store to purchase a Milwaukee string trimmer and saw a sign for a promo that included a free leaf blower with purchase of the “kit”. I upgraded to the kit (instead of getting the tool only) and went to the till but it turned out the promo had ended a week ago? The till staff and manager honoured the posted promo and I left a happy customer! 2-3 floor staff also assisted in finding the proper tool as all that was on the shelf was the “tool only” version of the trimmer. Thanks!
I've had terrible experiences with their customer service and faulty products. I can't say it's much better at other big box stores either. This location seems to be particularly bad though. Don't bother calling this store, you'll get hung up on if you're lucky enough to have anyone pick up.
Called to verify stock on smart thermostat, then applied for rebate on line. Went to home Depot and after talking to 3 different employees was told they can't find or don't have stock. Also wouldn't price match Amazon, because Amazon stock had a different colour outside ring. Give me a break, now can't use rebate anywhere else and wasted half the day. Should have just bought on- line. So much for supporting local store.
Worst store I've ever been in. Inventory is terrible and/or they don't carry 100's of items listed on the web site . If I'm looking for something specific I have to drive more than an hour to Bracebridge. Thank god Rona and Home Hardware are here for backup
Friendly Staff most are very knowledgeable
I love this Home Depot in Parry Sound. I had to go in two days in a row and each time I had a clerk offer to assist me near the front and they didn't give up until I had ALL of what I wanted. I didn't get told 'aisle 56', they took me over and helped me find what I wanted on the shelves and offered suggestions. I am impressed! You rarely get that in the city!
Rental policy is a complete joke, was told they can't rent anything without a credit card, the one I gave them is not supported, offered to pay the full value of the rental item in cash as a deposit and have them refund me when I return the machine, they told me that's against their policy to be able to track the machine, track what? The full value would be secured... I wait 30 min in line to be told there is nothing anyone can do and no one for me to even speak with as the managers are on vacation, it's like pulling teeth to even get an email to voice concerns to up the chain of command. Even asked if they had a machine to purchase and they will sell the unit for 40% with no return or warranty, no thanks on that. Too bad you can't rate zero stars, the only saving grace was the guy behind the counter was excellent and should be given a raise for having to deal w poorly developed company policy and still be helpful and courteous.
Well.. everyone is a contractor in this town and gets a discount. They take people's words for it and not go through the correct process. Most of the staff are very nice, they all seem to have a great time at their job. Just wish policies were followed, especially when they price something wrong and then treat you like an idiot until you tell them they have to honour it. Watched a manager throw a fit after I tried pointing out the problem. "Do you even know what OSB board is?!?" In all honesty I should have filed a complaint after her rude interaction with me.
Unreliable and terrible service!! Bought a dishwasher July 26, was supposed to be delivered August 6th. It is now August 18th. Manufacturer called me to say there would be a delay and let me know the store would call me. NO ONE CALLED ME. I had to sit on hold for 45 minutes with the "delivery company" to find out no one had any information and I'd get a call back. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I called the store and asked what was going on. No eta on my delivery but the earliest the dishwasher I bought in JULY would be ready is MID SEPTEMBER. WHY YOU SELLING PRODUCT YOU DON'T HAVE?? I'll be going in tomorrow for a refund!!
Great knowledgeable service. Friendly staff.
Shout-out to Violet at Home Depot. She's new and did a great job helping me find the motion lights I needed for my front and back door. Taught me about lumins, distance, and radius. And reminded me to think about how bright, and what distance I need for the back door light so I don't blind my neighbors. Then she took the time to tell me in which aisle I could find everything else I was looking for.
Had everything I needed and alot of staff to help finding things. Workers at the doors made me feel safe.
Employees didn't know much of anything. They were to busy talking to each other, to help.
If you really want great help at this HomeDepot and your on the phone ask for Rena. She takes the time and listens then gets answers to your questions. After going through hard to hear static voice directions and ending up a couple times in dead end loops I connected with this individual and in less then three minutes she answered my question instead of shoving me into phone loop hell. Rena should give lessons for those answering phones at Home Depot on how to do it correctly as a store rep. Thank you Rena, your are first class.
This has to be one of the worst tool rental places I have used. Rented a power washer from them and the thing would not start. Bring it back the next day and they told me I wasn't following the directions and it was too bad I had to pay for it. Spent $85 on a power washer that never got used. Not even complaining about the price but the guy was so defensive. Just paid and left and will never go back there nor will I recommend to my friends. Get some people that know customer service and who have a little bit of a heart.
Employee stood and watched my wife manhandle her end of a heavy sheet of plywood. Didn't offer to step in and help. Typical of this place
The gentleman who took care of me was kind, courteous, polite and took care of my order by checking on hand stock and all of it was available at the store and it was a one transaction order. Nice to deal with someone who cares about customer service. Quick, easy and efficient a rare thing these days in our Covid world.
Always terrible service. So many examples I could use. They will not pick up the customer service phone. The long-haired guy at the front will not help you but is constantly trying to sell you a Home Depot credit card. I returned Two boxes of ceramic tile’s that were sold to me cracked and found them on the shelf for sale again a week later. I have also purchased new tools that were obviously a return and used in the box. I have found my two select go to people when in the store who are the only two who will offer any kind of help that is worthwhile.
Like this place a lot
Very helpful. Very friendly people. Great place for all your home decor or home product needs.
Got alot of good supplies to build things
I am a senior woman. I went in to get an indoor motion sensor light for my home. An employee took me to the employee in the light department to get what I was looking for. Both young men were extremely polite and helpful. Found what I needed. Also getting paint & carpeting from here in the next few weeks! I can't wait! Very good service! Madonna B.
