Dr. Amurawaiye is professional, direct, and assessments are with great thought.. He then gives you a great smile and has much compassion. He did my colonoscopies and removed a cluster from me where I had great success,.. I would return to Dr. Amurawaiye for any necessary surgeries as I know I am in the best hands. He is only human, but I believe he strives to do his very best. Jean is also absolutely wonderful, helpful, kind, compassionate and efficient.. they make a formidable team! Thank you both!

So I was at home one night woke up with belly pains went to washroom and started feeling weak and light headed and down I went ????...was rushed to hospital had an emergency scope Done woke up after scope and was puking hunks of blood up I remember being rushed into the OR Very very scared I heard Dr A being called to The or stat asked the nurse if he was being called because of my situation she said yes...woke up from surgery and my family was their around my bed I kinda chuckled and said what happened my mom then said that the hospital called them and said they needed to get to hospital as I was in deep trouble and and likely would not make it out of The OR..long story anyway way I had a ulcer feeding of a vain in my belly when it burst DR A really and truly saved my life we always be so grateful for Dr A????

Been having gallbladder issues since Sept 2018 and was recommended here. Took 6 months just to have a five minute consultation with Dr. Amurawaiye where I felt like I was being interrogated (Seriously? "What makes you think you're passing gallstones"? Maybe because 4 different doctors have told me!!). He seemed genuinely disinterested in the constant pain I was in and seemed to think I was over reacting. It is now October 2019 and I still have no appointment for surgery and am suffering all the time. I keep calling the office but no one ever answers. My friend in Barrie had his gallbladder removed in under a month from the time he passed his first stone. I know our healthcare waiting times are a joke but this just seems insane. Find someone else if you're in a hurry to get something cut out.
