You can't get a appment even close to what you would like Thay only have early appments 830am and if your late as that expect you have to pay 50 bucks and no forgiveness for been 10min late and when I showed up 10min late there was no one in the office for appments The staff there have no hart and treat you like it and he doesn't even tell you that's wrong with ya DOT GO NO HARTED PEAPLE

On behalf of my 91 year old mother... My Mom is wheelchair bound. I called to let the office know this, and that she is unable to transfer. I said I could help with her wheelchair in the office. (All this during COVID) They said it would not be a problem. My Mom arrived at the office early, and we were let in, with me assisting. I would note that the rooms are limited in size, and getting two people plus a 91 year old in a wheelchair into these office spaces is possible, but it is a challenge. All of my Mom's tests were completed satisfactorily. The attendant technician did a great job and was very accommodating. This is her first visit and we have a follow up visit soon. Hopefully, that visit will be just as positive. Thanks to the office staff for being so understanding.

The most cold, uncaring doctor and office staff I have encountered. My 74 year old mother went in and was told very matter of fact, she will never see out of her one eye again. Then referred her to a doctor in Toronto. Then we returned a few weeks later as her other eye was starting to go and he said the other doctor he was referring her to, will hopefully be able to help her out. So until then, hope for the best! I guess because she isn’t twenty something, they could care less. Not an eye drop precscribed, nothing for pain, just a cold generic, take care. Here is a woman, slowly going blind, scared out of her mind and absolutely no care or compassion whatsoever. I wouldn’t take my cat to him. He is so afraid of being nice, as it might cut into the time he has for all the patients waiting to see him. You can still be kind and helpful without putting you behind. Most of the cases he looks after, I’m sure aren’t as serious and don’t require emergency care, but are people waiting to have cataracts removed. I guess there’s more money in that and that’s what important, the all mighty dollar.

Great experience. Awesome staff, very helpful. I arrived for my appointment at the wrong time. Instead of telling me goodbye and see you later, she asked if I would like to take another persons time that just cancelled. That is SERVICE. Refreshing change from other experience elsewhere. The office is nicely laid out and clean with no clutter. The equipment they used for my eye examination was high tech and very clean. I am glad to have found such a professional team of people to take care of my eye/vision concerns.

I have cataract surgery booked for March 10, 2021. I need an IOLMaster Test completed before March 5th. I emailed Dr. Tim Hillson, gave him my surgery date and asked him if he could do the test. On Feb 19th he agreed. The following week, as he directed, I phoned his Orillia office to book my appt. His staff, after speaking with Dr. Hillson, told me they could NOT schedule me for the test. I sent Dr. Hillson an email asking for an explanation. He answered that the technicians do the testing and he has no control over the scheduling of appointments. It appears Dr. Hillson changed his mind about helping me. Apparently, the technicians run his practice and communication is a problem. I am now denied an eye treatment he promised to provide. Dr. Tim Hillson is unreliable. He cannot be trusted to do what he says. March 2, 2021

While some of the reviews were less than stellar, I worried needlessly. I've been twice now and all staff performs efficiently while still being friendly and accommodating. They readily listen to any questions and answer all of them in a way that is understanding, compassionate and professionalism. Their sharing of knowledge had a tremendous calming effect on the anxiety I was feeling over getting monthly needles in my eyeballs. So far, they all have made my visits much more pleasant than I ever thought they could be...especially considering the circumstances. Many thanks to Dr. Hillson and all of his staff!!!
