Dr Peters is fine but for some reason one of her female staff on reception, & Ofcourse she would not state her name, went out of her way to keep putting off my app date into the future... & finally never did book me in after 2 months of calling & waiting... she was rude each time I called, was to call me back & never did..... I asked to have Dr Peters call me & Ofcourse I never received that call either. This went on for so long that I finally had to ask my Dr. for a referral to another Dermatologist......be cautious

Went after living years in Australia to be checked. She didn't check my head so I mentioned it and she said, "oh we don't check scalps". Well Dr., scalps are where so much can be. Such as ticks that cause lime disease, melanoma's that are skin cancer, and so on. Also i suggest checking between toes, on necks, and under arms. It is well known that cancerous moles usually show up in areas that the sun doesn't actually shine on the majority of the time. I was very taken aback by the lack of knowledge and effort given. Hopefully she can do better moving forward to ensure all patients leave assured and safe.

Came to see Dr. Peters for a treatment and could not have been any happier with my experience. From the simplicity of booking, to walking into their doors and feeling at ease, to the treatment itself which I felt was thorough and effective! She took her time answering all of my questions that I had and I never felt rushed. Her attention to detail really made me feel taken care of. I was referred by my GP to get some suspicious looking spots on my face looked at further. Dr. Peters came in to the room accompanied by a woman carrying brochures. Dr. Peters looked at my face, for 10 secs and said it looks fine but speak to my assistant who will offer you some options. The rest of the appt. was a sales pitch, I could get one laser treatment for $1500 or if I wanted look even better, spend $4000. Weirdest Dr. appt ever. It felt more like a high pressure sales pitch instead of a doctor's appt. I felt conflicted and a bit guilty saying that I couldn't afford their treatments. Where did the Dr go? Wasn't this supposed to be a medical appt. What about the asking me a question about my body etc. Nice double dipping our medical system for your personal practice. Our tax dollars at work! I went to see her because I did have wonky spots on my face that my GP said, should probably be burned or lasered off. Instead I bought a hi quality cbd/thc tincture which I rub onto the spots on my face and it seems to help. This high pressure sales is bad messaging for women and it sure doesn't feel very good! Not impressed!

Following an unsatisfactory experience with another island dermatologist, I was referred to Dr. Peters. She was immediately concerned about a growth which the previous doctor had dismissed. Dr. Peters did a biopsy, which proved surgery was necessary and booked an appointment with the surgeon, who subsequently “got it all.” The entire process, from consult to RJH surgery and follow up progressed very quickly, was extremely professional and thorough. Dr. Peters does not dilly dally or socialized, but at no point did she seem rushed or inattentive. Her confidence and compassion were evident. Her office is clean and well run; her staff functions at the same high standard as Dr. Peters.

I have worked with physicians for over 30 years and after 4 appointments with Dr.Peters I felt compelled to file a formal complaint to the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Be cautious and ask lots of questions. If something doesn’t seem right listen to your gut, it is your health at stake. I would ask for referral to see someone else if possible. I was concerned enough that I took the time to submit a 35 page complaint to the College. If you have unresolved concerns regarding Dr Tess Peters (or any other physician for that matter) I would encourage you to file a complaint also. The complaint is a permanent record on her file, however I have been told now to not expect the results of the investigation till Nov 2019 (over a year since the complaint was submitted Sept 2018. The College is legislated to have results to me by June 2019. The Health Professions Review Board is looking into why the College has delayed the results of the investigation.

Disappointed in my experience. I attended for IPL treatments (which were initially pitched as OPL by Dr. Peters, but seem to have been just previous IPL technology? I'm unsure and didn't receive a clear answer when I inquired to the receptionist and practitioner who performed my treatment...) and while I have had this treatment at other providers in the past, my results this time were lackluster. Barely noticeable and seemingly nonexistent results considered, this was the most I have paid for IPL as well. The practitioner did not seem particularly experienced nor did she seem confident. I would advise attending a different clinic if you're hoping to have IPL performed.

This is such a great place for treatment. I see Dr. Copley and he is such a fantastic doctor and is really attentive. His communication is amazing as well. The whole team at the clinic are so awesome and provide friendly and comfortable overall experience. I would highly recommend this clinic if you get referred.
