You will see all the opinions of people like you who are consuming the services of Head to Toe Clinic (Plastic Surgery) in the territory close to North Bay (Canada).
Right now the business receives a rating of 2.6 out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 54 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is average, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Plastic Surgery is classified in the category of Medical Center.
Started out as a walk-in years ago but turned into my "family doctor", great staff and i've been very happy with every visit.
If I could leave a zero i would horrible doctor and people don't recommend at all
Fast & effective, nice staff band wonderful doctor!
Is this Walk in clinic real ? Twice now I called because that’s what the web site tells you to do to do to get an appointment, I didn’t need a Rush in didn’t need it today just need it within the next couple of weeks twice I’ve been told to busy go someplace else .
If I could give a negative star, I would. Literally the worst doctor ever and his wife is one of the rudest person that I've ever met. You're honestly better off getting medical advice from Google. Very money hungry doctor and extremely unprofessional staff. He was also fined for dispensing and authorizing staff to dispense a weight-loss drug called Phentermine, without being licensed to do so, back when he was practicing in the States. .
Great service !! Dr. Hasspieler take the time to listen to the patient also he is very friendly
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Dr Hasspieler is our family doctor and always takes impeccable care of us. The whole team here is kind & professional. Health concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly. He refers you to specialists when needed and is so careful to check for many possible causes of your illness. His genuine concern for our well-being is evident- he even called us at home to follow up when my daughter required a CT scan. It is rare to find a doctor so receptive to questions/suggestions. We are lucky to have a doctor of this caliber in our town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm literally afraid to go there...as doctors make me sicker than I already am. I'll die thank you very much LOL
Great service, the doctor takes his time with his patients and listens. Great office support staff.
Dr. Hasspieler helped to save my life. Thanks to him I received an early diagnosis and treatment for a rare brain tumour. The neurosurgeon that he referred me to was excellent and while I was recovering in the hospital Dr. Hasspieler visited daily to make sure I was receiving proper care.
Horrible service. Complete money grab. Don't waste your time.
He is our family doctor and very good. Always listens to your concerns, which is something most doctors don’t do. And he err’s on the side of caution. He’s straightforward and doesn’t waste your time. You don’t want three hours past your appointment time! Also friendliest service I have received in an office. The staff are wonderful and the environment is very cheerful. Despite other bad reviews, I highly recommend his office.
awful
Worst experience ever Seems when things get a bit to complicated with a patient, he drops them. The excuse I got was he was slowing down and getting rid of some patient. Lie all lies. I went to the emergency and over heard the nurses talk and say, he is known to dump his patients Never had a good feeling but was just happy to have a doctor. Pretty sad what we need to settle for Glad I don't need to deal with this office ever again.
Amazing doctor. He saved my life and continues to provide excellent service with every visit. He’s very caring, efficient and extremely thorough. Appointments are always booked right away and wait times are minimal. Support staff are very professional. I highly recommend.
Terrible service, nothing but liars, so unprofessional.
If you're looking for a real review, read googles. They can pay off Rate MD to delete the bad ones .. but you can't buy google reviews.. Once you have any mental health concerns they will drop you as a patient. . . tell you "we are retiring" then go ahead and take more patients (trust me it happened) They've been retiring for... years? Dr. doesn't believe depression is a medical issue, or should I say his wife. Would be curious to see how many college of physician complaints they'll get... bet they can look back at everyone dropped due to retiring and then see all the new patients added over the years... lies, fraud .. etc .. times up
All they care about the billing - maximize profits at all costs
The reality is any doctor has limitations. It is a luck if one can encounter a doctor who is closer to the perfect. My opinion with my experiences, Dr. Hasspieler is a fine doctor. I had a small appointment today when Dr. Hasspieler commented on association between age and hormone. I disagree with his view or understanding. But it is unnecessary to argue about it. It won't lead nowhere. I know my body and my hormone changes regardless what the 'generalized knowledge' taught in medical school. An open minded doctor is desirable. The more one learns, the more one realizes he/she doesn't know.
No confidentiality -- the staff discuss your private health concerns regularly in the reception room or yell across the room to ask or inform of personal medical details. This doctor's office also sells cosmetic "snake oil miracle cure" type products, which seems medically unprofessional, it's not a Shoppers Drug Mart. Appointments are structured to be short and quick and force multiple return visits so that the doctor can bill the gov't for your time each and every time. They will NOT discuss more than one medical concern per appointment, even if something new is discovered at the appointment, a new appointment must be made to address the issue, regardless of severity. There are signs posted everywhere to this effect, so you can't even beg to ask another question about your health. This office runs like a therapist's office: you get your 30 minute session and once the doc says you're done, you have to come back next week.
Fantastic staff and doctor! Very thorough
Beyond excellent medical care, This efficient & effect office is a service to our community. Dr., Nurses & staff are highly recommended. If you are needing coddling and lengthy diatribe about your ailments...this may not be the office for you.
I used to work here and this is not a clinic that you should trust your health with. None of the information I'm sharing is private to the clinic as this all happens in the open, in front of patients. The doctor and office manager (who are husband and wife) seem to be borderline sociopathic and promote a toxic environment where everything seems okay on the surface, but everyone always feels rushed and confused in a constantly micromanaged and changing environment. I've heard the manager be rude to countless patients in the clinic and on the phone. Look at all the other reviews that mention this exact issue, they're all true. I personally know great people who were patients of his and got dropped if their health concerns became too complicated, or not making them enough money. I've seen patients literally complain about life-threatening issues, only to hear back, "oh, you must come again next week to talk about that" and then casually blame the way the OHIP works. You know the really nice, expensive, green BMW convertible in the back? That's the doctor's promise that he will try to bill the government for every dime he can get from your medical issues.
I ditched this doctor as quickly as I could, dark ages medical practitioner morals, stated doesn’t believe in depression as a valid health issue. Discreetly needed help and went elsewhere. Now I’m thriving and graduated college with honours!! No meds anymore too! Do yourself a favour and advocate for your own health! Definitely don’t recommend!!!
They take good care of my wife and kids. I’m happy about that.
Dr. Hasspieler has a history that I think most patients or potential patients should know. He started in Pulaski County, Virginia as a medical “spa” Director in the United States. At the time, he was referred to more as “Ralph” NOT “Andre”. An investigation was launched by the Virginia Board of Medicine in April 2013. Dr. Hasspieler was reprimanded and ordered to pay a fine for running a pill-mill for the diet drug PHENTERMINE; which is a controlled substance. After his reputation and money-making abilities were tarnished, he moved back to Canada and opened “Head to Toe” clinic. Working in Canada as a physician is not as financially lucrative compared to the United States, so you can clearly see how his office has a calculated system that brings the most money possible: Appointments are a maximum of 10 minutes and you can only present one concern per visit. If you have any other concerns (like most patients do) you must wait 24 hours for the next appointment. Doctors in Ontario can only bill OHIP patient appointments once per every 24 hours depending on the OHIP billing code. Therefore, patients have no choice but to keep coming back, as he bills OHIP in this financially-motivated way. This is an insult to patients that have jobs, familial duties and life priorities in general who are required to keep coming back issue by issue. TIME IS MONEY FOR YOUR PATIENTS TOO! I’m speculating Dr. Hasspieler is not using the proper OHIP CODES which vary monetarily depending on the length and reason for visit. Reputation precedes, does it not? Google OHIP billing codes and you will understand. Ralph or “Andre” is very aware of his online presence and he (I assume glorified secretary-wife Linda) have been very involved in the removal of reviews through a paid system on RateMd. If a doctor pays RateMd, they can remove a limited amount of submitted content of their choosing. This is why Google reviews are more transparent and REAL. It’s also speculated that he has paid an “internet reputation consultant” to boost reviews to the positive but this cannot be verified by me. After his misdoings in the United States, as mentioned above, he moved back to Canada. According to the THE ROANOKE TIMES: “Now in Canada, Dr. Hasspieler, who also ran a traditional medical practice in Pulaski County, told The Roanoke Times in 2010 that he was returning to Canada because of family events.” I think this is pertinent information for patients, or potential patients to understand how “Head to Toe” clinic is managed. I have sourced all this information unless otherwise stated.
Great experience, very professional and friendly stuff, I'm impressed with the layout of the clinic as it's modern, it's nice to see art on the walls in a doctors office. Dr. Hasspieler, was great to deal with, very thorough and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend going to his clinic.
AWFUL TIME, absolutely awful. I'm switching doctors.
Better off just going to the emergency. Really trust me!
Girlfriend had a scheduled appointment today. She lives in Stutgeon Falls (30 min away). Called and told them she didnt feel comfortable making the drive in the snow storm they're currently having because its a treacherous drive in that weather, i might add that OPP are warning of a possible hwy closure which would strand her in North Bay until the storm cleared. The response she got was completely unacceptable, she was chastised by the receptionist who was incredibly unprofessional and sarcastic, look elsewhere for ur medical needs people. Oh and not to mention shes almost 7 months pregnant, so the expectation to risk one life let alone two is just messed up.
The lady on the phone was rude, not helpful, and genuinely doesn't care what the problem is. She would cut me off when trying to talk, bluntly told me I needed a pap test and moved with another conversation. I was calling about possible asthma for my 3 year old son and she suggested I go to emerge because they don't do anything regarding the ear, nose and mouth (covid restrictions, they don't use n95 masks?) I want to note. I can't help but feel like her tardiness came into place once realizing I'm first nation. Definitely an uncomfortable feeling when trying to get help from a Healthcare provider.
Waited on hold for 15 minutes just to have them finally answer the phone and be rude as if I was the one causing an annoyance. Then when you finally do get an appointment you wait 30+ minutes to actually see the doctor who honestly could not have graduated at the top of his class!! I have had to bring my daughter in 3 times for the same thing because he can't seem to diagnose or treat anything properly. If I could find any other doctor in town I'd switch in a second!
it appears that this doctor or office staff pays ratemds to take down bad reviews or flags them so i am posting one here because people need to know how this office is operated so they can avoid it, if need be. first of all, there is no confidentiality in this office. it is SMALL and vitals are taken in a small hallway between waiting room and office. So EVERYONE can hear allllll about your blood pressure, weight, and whatever issues you're there for. SUPER unprofessional. secondly, this office is like a nightclub. LOUD music, staff dressed like they're going to the club (short skirts, cleavage showing, faces full of crazy makeup, high heels). i mean i guess he is trying to go for a certain look considering they are selling beauty and weight loss treatments here too (lol). but, it's really uncomfortable and when one is sick, last thing they want is to listen to blaring music and inhale perfume. the old(er) woman with blonde hair is rude and talks down to people. the other girls appear to be afraid of her. thirdly, signs everywhere saying you can only talk about ONE issue. why? well duh- so you have to come back in again and he gets more money. don't see this anywhere else where i've been to. doctors are generally happy to discuss a couple things with you, because that is what a doctor is there for - to help. not to treat you like cattle going through the motions so they can get their next $$ patient $$. lastly, the doctor himself is polite enough but not very knowledgeable. i was there for a walkin appointment. i told him about my issue. he looked at me for a minute and then brushed it off. waste of my time. never again. honestly, this is the most uncomfortable doctor's office i have ever been to. i moved to north bay from toronto 3 years ago and i've never experienced a vibe like this one. maybe if you're going there to get the fat zapped off your body, it's fine. but as a doctor's office? just plain weird.
Amazing doctor and staff! Dr Hasspieler takes the time to listen and ask questions to figure out the issue.
I came here for my immigration medical. I was able to make my appointment for the followig week. Dr. Hasspieler and team were efficient and friendly. Offered me every opportunity to ask questions if I had any.
