He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and took the time to explain everything from start to finish. Siobahn is amazing as well! She is on top of everything, and is super friendly. I was quite nervous the day of, but my fears were alleviated by Dr. Sharma and the excellent staff at the hospital. Dr. Sharma has been a complete life-saver for me and a huge part of my life-changing procedure. Dr. Sharma is awesome - in the first initial consult, I knew it was a great fit and I wanted to move ahead with my breast reduction surgery with him. I saw many other plastic surgeons in the past who would downplay my experience and didn't really listen. Dr. Sharma isn't a pretentious city-type plastic surgeon which is amazing since there are way too many of those. Genuinely a great human with whom you feel safe, respected and listed to. My breast reduction surgery was in November 2020 at Lakeridge Hospital. Best experience. Beautiful result. I can't say enough about this doctor. I had a breast reduction/liposuction procedure done on June 18th. During my recovery, I had a few concerns and questions that were put to ease in such a timely manner. Both Dr. Sharma and his assistant Siobhan responded back to any emails or calls I had, even on weekends! I was truly shocked to receive an email reponse from Dr. Sharma himself on a Sunday afternoon when I had sent my email just a few hours before. His bedside manner was excellent and he made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Although I am still in the early phases of healing, I am very happy with my results so far. The nurses at Bowmanville Lakeridge advised me that I was in the hands of a perfectionist before heading into surgery. I felt at ease and can tell that this doctor did not rush anything and took his time to give me the best possible results.

My overall experience (for a breast reduction) with Dr Sharma (and his team) totally exceeded my expectations. My only regret was that I didn’t do it years ago!!! My neck pain is gone along with my shoulder divots from the breast weight – he removed approx. 2 pounds from each breast & what a difference it has made. I can actually go without a bra for the first time in 25 years and feel more youthful and confident. Any kind of surgery can be daunting, it can be overwhelming and scary. Anyone undergoing plastic surgery wants their outcomes to the perfect; quite frankly we come out of surgery expecting to be "perfect" in the recovery room. Once out however, we unveil the incisions and the daunting, overwhelming and scary feelings begin to take over. For me personally, I felt every one of the above feelings, however, it was my incredibly understanding and patient surgeon, Dr. Sharma who was able to walk me through every step of the process so I felt as comfortable and confident as I could going into and post surgery. I explanted On Friday Feb. 5Th with Dr. Vishal Sharma in Ajax, The surgery was done in the Bowmanville's Hospital, and it was the best experience ever! Every one there were nice and warm, the nurses: Eve in pre-op and Danielle in post-op were incredible. I woke up without pain and full of energy. I am so happy that I chose him. He removed the capsules en-block and sent them to pathology without cutting them. He did not use drains and I also had a lift. Friday Feb 12 is my post-op appointment with him. His knowledge, professional capacity, the way he explained the surgery to me and answered all my questions was amazing. He took pictures and a video of my surgery and he showed me that he was able to do everything the way we had discussed.Thank you Dr Sharma, you are the best!
