This guy left me with a terrible scar on my face. Totally out dated equipment, way over priced. Will be filing a complaint to the better business bureau. Lots of other alternatives out there with up to date equipment and more in line pricing. Horrible experience. Never again Don't go there !!!!!

I am incredibly disappointed that you can't get a consultation with this Doctor without providing your Credit card numbers! I never seen something like this before. I asked if I will be charged if I don't show and the receptionist said no, so whats the point of asking for this information and not address. I declined, I don't feel comfortable, this is absurd!

I visited Dr. Minuk for a Youthful Glow treatment at the St. Vital location. The clinic was spa-like, very clean and elegant. The staff were friendly and respectful and answered all of my questions. I'm absolutely 100% ecstatic about this place! Dr. Minuk is great at what he does! I've seen others on these reviews giving a lower rating because of his "attitude" however I found him to be great. Straight to the point, realistic and best of all produces wonderful results. He's not there to make friends or be your social worker gals, he's there to do his job and he does it damn good. I'm so happy!!! Rate his office on the great results not because you got a bruised ego, he's GREAT! His staff is wonderful as well, very kind and efficient. This is now my go to place and I'll be recommending ALL my friends.

Do not get a tattoo removed here. This guy has such an outdated machine that doesn’t do anything and he charges an arm and a leg. Do a quick search for Picosure laser removal and you will find an establishment that uses up to date technology at a fraction of the cost.

Dr. Minuk and his staff are Professional and very caring on the results after any procedure. I am 65 and had never considered any cosmetic procedure. However, I feel younger than my age but my body wasn’t cooperating. If you are struggling with the decision, I would suggest to do something small e.g. lip enhancement. As we age our lips disappear and this procedure brings them back to life. Dr. Minuk is not only very Professional with excellent skill, his experience provides areas in which he can accentuate your beauty. I never thought I would be so thrilled with my results! Please note that change isn’t immediate, there may be some swelling. Enjoy your enhancements!

This was my experience when I went into his office I explained what was going on with me, and each millisecond I explained to him he cut me off and when I told him that I don't believe his diagnosis because he just wasn't listening to me he went on and explained to me that he's been a doctors for 30+ years and about the great things he's done which I really don't care for. He was so annoyed with me and that much was obvious, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it up until he said, "when black people, or people of color or whatever YOU people find fit to call yourselves nowadays" thats when I finally put a name to it. He even went on and told me that I should invest in some lotion, and moisturize my skin, but someone who is educated on different ethnical groups can tell when a darker person is plain ole' ashy and a person who moisturize their skin. He is so ignorant and you can tell that he has lost his love and passion of being a doctor but that's what being in a profession for over 30+ years does to you, especially when you see it as just a job. For future reference Dr. Minuk please educate yourself about "whatever US people call ourselves" you uncultured swin. DON'T GO TO HIM, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Dr minuks office and business is a joke. The walls are littered with posters and advertisements that would make any young person feel insecure about themselves. Dr minuk himself is truly not a good person. To elaborate every talk is no more than 3 minutes in and out, wich truly makes you feel like you are nothing more than a paycheck from the government. DO NOT GO HERE. There are so many better options, please reconsider. -Someone who wants better for you

I must said that this place is highly discriminatory. It is a lie what it is said in their website say about the financing options they offer since they will just send you a link if you say you are interested in this option and make you fill up your name, date of birth and where you live to automatically say that you are not "approved" and that you must pay the full package. Is just by how my name sounds like or maybe because I live in downtown that I cannot access to their financing option?

Botox. I have been to see him only twice. The first time I felt that my forehead was not done enough so he had me come in for a touch up completely free. The next time I came in to see him I was more expressive of which areas were my main concern and he did the injections a slightly different way than the previous time. The results were amazing! My forehead won't budge. He is very friendly and his staff at both locations are incredibly helpful. I won't see any other doctor.

I look forward to popping in every time I have an appointment since Dr. Minuk and his staff are so kind and truly excited every time I'm there. They all know their stuff, and although getting these treatments can be a little scary, they really help to ease my concerns and encourage asking a lot of questions. All of the staff are very thorough and professional and really care about giving you a five-star treatment, I cannot recommend this clinic enough (plus the treatments I have had have truly been life changing).

After reading the reviews about Dr. Minuk I was very worried to go see him. My plan was, well I'll go to this visit and if he is not good I'll call my Dr and wait for another referral somewhere else. Walked in the clinic, first receptionist was good, nothing over the top to make me feel at ease. Then I was called to the Dr. room and sat there waiting. Dr. Minuk came in with an assistant and I couldn't have asked the visit to go any better. Super nice, calm voice, explained what I needed to know. No pressure to buy special products, he let me know the cost of a few other services if I was interested. Asked me if I was happy with how the appointment went, I said yes, and he gave me a go JETS high five! I will definitely be going back to see him. Thanks Dr. Minuk.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Minuk for fillers and Botox for five years now, and I wish I had started ten years earlier!!! I don’t live in Canada any longer and I still prefer to schedule my work with Dr. Minuk when I can, and will travel to do so. I like that I am always asked about my budget and goals - I prefer a more subtle relaxed look over bold changes and I always feel fantastic when I leave the office! My advice if you’re considering cosmetic fillers and Botox? Be honest with your provider about what you want - they’re not there to judge you, they are there to get the look YOU want!!!

The staff at Dr. Minuk's office is excellent. The office itself is welcoming and comfortable. Rarely have I had to wait more than a few minutes beyond my appointment time. Dr. Minuk is an interesting character. He is knowledgeable in his area. My only issue is I find he's very quick at times and sometimes talks over your questions, so be prepared to repeat yourself if you need something answered. Overall, I have found my experiences positive, both with Dr. Minuk and with the staff.

I have had two treatments at Dr. Minuk's Clinic and am very happy. My initial consultation and subsequent appointment was highly informative and at no time did I feel pressured to acquire products or procedures I had not planned on. I was greeted warmly by the office staff as well as the nurse prior to meeting Dr. Minuk. My questions were answered with attentiveness and knowledge. I will continue to obtain my treatments with Dr. Minuk and his nurses. In terms of the facility, it is updated, well-maintained and clean. My initial appointment was on-time but my second was not. This, however is a note of minor concern. Delays can occur for a number of reasons that are sometimes beyond the control of a business. As previously mentioned, I will continue to obtain my treatments here as well as recommend it to others.

I received a referral from my Family GP to see Dr. Minuk regarding my melasma and acne. He recommended that I buy products from this medical grade brand called ZO (rather than prescribe a pharmaceutical grade product) along with the Silk Peel treatment. I tried to make a follow-up appt with him 3 months later, but when I called I was informed by his staff that I required a second referral from my Family GP to see him again. I ended up going to another derm in the city. They laughed when they found out that he recommended the Silk Peel. He’s not a good dermatologist and I would not recommend.

I went to see Dr. Minuk for 2 mole removals. He asked me a few times before the procedure to point out where they were. After the scars healed I noticed one of the moles was still there in its entirety, the area directly adjacent to the mole was removed instead. I went back to express my concern and he seemed annoyed when I told him the mole was still there. I was told to come back for a touch up. This time the right spot was treated, but the mole is still there. It is only slightly smaller. Very disappointed that after 2 attempts at a simple procedure, results were still unacceptable. Will not return for other services nor recommend to others.

The Doctor (male) would speak over me and didn't care to hear what I said or wanted. I don't know if it's a problem because I'm a woman. He was very cold and only became human when I started to get faint from a fear of needles. The needle was fast and he had chopped off and lasered me very quickly. He does good work and the office people are nice. I would not return as feeling like your Doctor is listening to you is very important to me.

I needed an emergency appointment to see Dr. Minuk and after a referral from my family doctor, the staff at his office were able to book me in the following morning on a cancellation. I was in a lot of pain and the staff were very kind and caring on the phone. I feel they went out of their way to make sure I was able to see the doctor as soon as possible and I appreciated that so much. Dr. Minuk was on time, efficient and listened to my concerns. He asked questions that made me feel heard and understood. He was able to diagnose me quickly and provided me with a prescription for the appropriate medication. I am a senior with very thin lips and I was so amazed with the wonderful job Dr. Minuk and his assistant performed on my lips. They were able to plump them up to a normal size. They looked very natural and the procedure was pain free due to the freezing. Even that needle was virtually pain free. The bottom line for me is to look natural and I’m very happy the clinic is helping me age gracefully. Dr. Minuk tells it like it is and what to expect, realistically. My brother, who has autism (level 3), comes here often for derm appointments. For someone who struggles with communication and sensory overload, the staff and Dr. Minuk are so accommodating to his needs and attention. My brother can be a handful sometimes (likes to constantly give hi-fives, touch people on their head, shoulder, arms etc - and we get how this could make some people feel uncomfortable) but the staff are incredibly patient and understanding. We have been to many doctor offices/clinics who are not as understanding or compassionate as Dr. Minuk's office. So it's always a breath of fresh air when we come here. Thank you for everything!

He is the worst dermatologist i have ever been to. I had some skin scars on my face and i went to see him and the way treated me did a big damage in my skin and after 4 visit he started my scars can be removed even though he did a damage in my skin. Dont want to listen to the patient and he doesnt want to spend time with the patient. He is more like come and go. The stuff he has is so rude and unfriendly. He is gonna kick you out as soon as he will realise that he is not making money out of you. He is a horrible person and i would not suggest anyone to go to see him. High hopes dashed! I lost a total of 5 lbs, 2 inches under the breasts(around the rib cage), 1 inch around the waist and 2 inches around the hips. I spent a lot of money for very little loss. I was not promised any amount of weight loss or inches lost. I had to sign that there was no guarantee. I met with Dr. Minuk once. There are no studies at the present time that prove any health benefits to the cool sculpting procedure. This was my question to the doctor. Understandable, I was willing to take the chance. The ladies who performed the procedures for the cool sculpting were all professional and kind. I was very aware of what areas I was having done and on one of the sessions two of the spots would have been missed had I not been aware. The only method of fat measurement is by a scale to get your total weight and then pictures. I am very faithful at working out and getting my exercise. I lost more weight when I cut out sugar and gluten, then I did with the cool sculpting. I wanted to give the cool sculpting a try because I was looking for permanent weight loss. I had asked for Dr. Minuk to respond via email when I went in at the 3 month period for pictures. I was disappointed by the results. I was never contacted. I wish you all well with your choices. In hindsight, I would not do this procedure.

Giving this place 4 stars solely just for Julia. Dr Minuk is skilled at what he does he's not the most pleasant person to deal with. He is very impatient, will rush you through, and cares more about getting his $$ than anything else. That being said I'll continue to go back because he is very skilled and I had a WAY better experience here than at First Glance. Plus Julia is awesome!

After a package treatment, and 3 additional treatments, I have had no reduction in underarm hair. I am not the only one with this experience. I was supposed to be "the perfect patient". Worst of all, I have started getting rashes from wearing deodorant since my treatment. Dont go here.

Dr. Earl Minuk is excellent in his field and the positive results for both of us were very apparent within a couple of days. Life altering for both of us who have struggled with hyperhydrosis for many years. My daughter went and bought beautiful coloured shirts for the first time and is able to wear bright fun colours to work and feels so much more confident! THANK YOU to Dr. Earl Minuk and his team !

Trip Four

Dr. Minuk is lucky I could not attend this appointment for my son. Calling a 10yr old boy with a very visible growth "WARTMAN" is quite possibly the worst thing I've heard since the growth appeared. Has Minuk ever heard of BULLYing? UNACCEPTABLE Not to mention the wait time for my son to have been seen for all of 5 minutes. This is also the third visit for the same treatment. Needless to say we need a new clinic. The reason I chose not to bring my son myself was because I didn't want to be face to face with the negativity I received on the phone. This clinic needs a makeover. I will oversee it, if need be. HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY SON!!

I am giving 1 star because the staff are nice to me and welcoming except for Dr. Minuk. I was also referred to this clinic by my family doctor. I had bad experience... I feel rushed, disregarded and brushed off any concerns I have. As soon as he knows he’s not making money off you he will kick you out. At least that’s how I felt.
