We have the reviews of real people who consumed the services of Ridgeview Medical Centre (Plastic Surgery) around Lake Louise territory (Canada).
At present the business has a rating of 3.3 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 38 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is discreet, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Plastic Surgery is included in the category of Medical clinic.
Not a walk-in clinic
Got there with bleeding and fever and I've been told by reception staff doctor is too busy... I ended up on emergency. Great job guys!
I went in with a rash and told I had AIDS. Then she pushed me out with NO help. Went to 3 more doctors to confirm and ALL 3 told me I had Scabies. Also receptionist was rude and snobby.
Was number 1 to get a tag and still wasn't in an hour later. Reception staff is nothing but rude and unattentive. 4th visit here and never had a good experience. Better off going to the hospital.
I love this clinic! Great doctors, amazing facility and reception staff always try the best to get you in fast at a convenient time.
I was treated at this walk-in clinic last week while staying on holiday in Canmore and normally I don't write reviews but I just had to let any future customers know how bad this place is. First of all they make you take your shoes/boots off before you even enter so you have to walk on the dirty grimy floors and carpets just in your socks. Secondly, they made me wait an hour just to be seen even though there was nobody else in there, which can be understandable considering doctors do tend to get busy from time to time. But what really irritated me is that I went in there for a really bad cough, migraine, and nasal congestion. The Doctor told me to stop taking over the counter medicine, & start using seawater nasal care...eventually it would go away. One week later and I am still sick with the same horrible symptoms and actually went to another walk-in clinic today and was prescribed antibiotics. So over all, it was a bad experience and just a waste of time coming to this facility.
Inflexible when people need a little help. Unable to do a simple physical that involves looking at the same 3 previous physicals I have done at this clinic and taking one BP. Because my family doctor isnt there today. Large sigh and general disappointment.
Went to see Dr Hone, great experience. I was taken in room with very little delay and the doctor came in shortly afterwards. Friendly and helpful and very information. Dr. Hone is very professional and friendly. Good clinic, recommended.
I've NEVER Had A Bad Visit Or Was Treated Negatively By ANY Member of The Office Staff Or ANY of The Doctors At Ridgeview Medical Clinic. YES It's A Very BUSY Medical Office, But I've Always Been Treated With Respect & I've NEVER Had a "Rushed Appt" or Been Misdiagnosed. The Drs Are Very Thorough With Everything. If My Dr Was Running Behind, I've Still Been Able To Have My FULL Appointment, No Matter How Long...
Very disappointed with this clinic. Been there twice and was misdiagnosed twice. One misdiagnoses culminated in a trip to the emergency room 6 weeks later when I became worse from the antibiotics prescribed (never should have been). I had even addressed that specific concern with the doctor and she dismissed it. Silly!
The walk in clinic is well run and quick. Staff are friendly and the Doctor was very helpful - plus they're open on weekends!
We had an extremely positive experience at Ridgeview medical center. We are from out of town and were visiting family. Our 7 month old had been fighting a fairly bad cold for the last couple of days and we wanted to make sure she had no ear infection etc.I took her into Ridgeview as a walk in patient and at first they had said I would need to come back around 4:30 as they were full seeing regular patients. I went to get my shoes back on and then one of the staff came out quickly to say that the Dr had finished early and could see us! I filled out the paperwork and she took us right to the room. We wait maybe a minute before the Dr came in and checked out the baby. She said all was fine and we were on our way. I can't tell you how much I appreciate having such a pleasant experience with such nice people. It can be such a nightmare when you have to take a little one to a walk in clinic and the staff and Dr were wonderful.
Took my daughter to see Dr. Barrick and she made her feel so comfortable and was able to diagnose her quickly and get her the help she needed. My daughter even cried she was so scared, but Dr. Barrick took the time to calm her fears and now she is happy and healthy again. I did not appreciate the front desk staff as much. They have headsets and even though they make contact with you, they ignore you and give you the "finger" (not that finger) to let you know they are on the phone and can't talk. Just wish they would turn around or something so we can tell they are busy. Instead they make us feel like we're rudely interrupting on purpose. Also, their conversations are heard all over the front. There's no privacy for whats being discussed on the phone or when you check in. I still give it 5 stars though because Dr. Barrick made it worth it.
HORRIBLE!! Never let them give you to Dr. Joanne Mitchell! There is a reason they call it "small town medicine" because any legitimate medical establishment wouldn't let her give medical treatment to a chicken about to go into the deep fryer at A&W! This clinic only cares about one thing and that is soaking Alberta Health Services for as much money as they can! I came in for two concerns and only left with one being addressed (halfheartedly) and was told, I'm sorry, you'll need to make another appointment for the second. It's FRAUD to the Alberta Health system and all of us residents who pay it!! THIEVES! Other family members have also seen this sham of a doctor. She has terrible bedside manner, she doesn't give three hoots about your health or care! She's abrupt. Rude. Arrogant. And her palms are sweaty!
I went to this place often as a kid and they used to be extremely helpful and was one of the best clinics in town. Came back today with the referral of a hearing specialist due to a blockage that needs to be cleared immediately, I have no hearing in one of my ears and I'm fearful that if it doesn't get cleared soon I could suffer permanent ear damage. The receptionist actually told me to call them to book an appointment (which I would have done if I could have? At least I still have hearing in one ear but imagine if I didn't. There's also no way to book an appointment through email or anything other then calling apparently which is pretty limiting to those who may not be able to hear which is kinda awful for a health care facility. There should always be accommodations for people who may be hard of hearing, blind, ect.) while the other rep booked the last time slot for the day right in front of me. I asked to make an appointment for tomorrow and they couldn't do that either despite having tons of openings so I had to go to the hospital instead. I understand being fully booked isn't really their fault but she was kinda pretty rude about the whole thing while I'm scared and in tears over possibly losing my hearing. It is double as bad that I had to go to the hospital instead for this who has been incredibly accomadating and are actually taking my situation seriously along with giving me plenty of help and resources to find a family doctor in Canmore so I don't have to go through this again.
Had to bring my son in to the walk in clinic the other day. Front desk and doctors were really good with kids!
Very friendly staff and good doctors who care and take the time to address all your concerns. Also a pretty speedy walk in clinic in my opinion.
Very friendly. We have never had to wait long and the Doctors are efficient and accommodating
Wonderful team at this clinic, the receptionists are always polite and get me seen as quickly as possible. The physicians I have seen have all listened to my questions and concerns and acted professionally.
My doctors have been great and the reception is accommodating my appointment needs.
Website says they're taking new patients... they're not. Website says they're doing Covid Testing... they're not. Website says you can pre-book walk in times... you can't. Even the message at the beginning says that if you're unhappy with the covid response, talk to your MPP... we don't have those in Alberta (they're called MLA's). Generally, a pretty disappointing experience. Although, the receptionist was friendly, after waiting about 20 minutes to talk to her.
What a joke to only take a walk-in starting at 5 and then to make you wait outside till then!
Best Medical Clinic I've ever walked into. Front desk girls are amazing..So so friendly. I know people don't go see there doctor because everything is perfect but all my experiences here are very nice
Visited a couple of weeks ago as a walk-in and was super impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff! (Dr. Emma Morin + lovely receptionist! (Australian?))
Super friendly and helpful reception and doctor. I'm a foreign patient and had no issues to be seen, I would come back at anytime!
I’m not typically one to write poor reviews. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially receptionists who I’m sure receive a lot of abuse in their days. However, this was absolutely uncalled for and I am quite hurt and frustrated. I saw a doctor through the Telus Health app due to concerns regarding my lungs and heart. The doctor sent me a requisition for an echocardiogram and a 24 hr holter monitor after some concerns with an ECG. As I’m waiting for my upcoming appointments, the doctor encouraged me to visit a walk-in clinic so that an ‘in-person’ doctor can do a physical examination (lung sounds, heart sounds, blood pressure because how else would I know if I’m hypertensive?) Today, August 7, my partner called on my behalf as I was sleeping after coming off night shift. I had emailed my health care card, ID and new patient form prior. My partner explained that an online physician had requested that I see a doctor in person and that I just required a brief physical exam. The receptionist began yelling (yes, yelling) at her demanding more information or they would not be able to help me. She recommended going to the ER which makes absolutely no sense as this is not an acute medical emergency. In the end she said “If I book him in he’ll have some explaining to do. I don’t know that we’ll even see him for this.” In the end, my partner did not allow them to book me in. We decided that we did not feel comfortable with the level of professionalism at this clinic. It’s quite disheartening as I’m feeling quite anxious about the state of my health and yet I’m essentially being turned away. Perhaps I’m missing something; but even so, it is absolutely uncalled for, as a receptionist, to yell at the people who call your clinic.
The doctor and staff were great: competent, gentle, efficient and fast. As a non resident, I had to pay for the consult and price was pretty fair. I would strongly recommend to others.
without a doubt the most efficient, effective, personable and professional physicians and staff. They should clone Dr Duggalby and franchise :)
Dr Geard Duggleby. Top class doctor. Need a lot more like him. Very professional. Made me feel better by his calming spirit. Thank you
Quick and available. One of the fastest walk in clinics I've ever used.
Fast, professional after-hours clinic walk-in clinic for easy access to health care when visiting Canmore.
As a desperate mother with a child who is unwell and as a physician myself, if my front end staff treated my patients the way I was treated I would fire them on the spot. It is so important to remember that people are calling because they need help and not to inconvenience you.
Didn't give atencao to my son and refused to seeing him because he is from Australia(with travel insurance) .they just seeing local patients.
We have been patients here for many, many years and have always had the best of care. We don't usually have to wait long for appointments with our family doctor, but the walk-in clinic is great backup. Best recommendation: the nurses and other staff at our hospital prefer this clinic over all others in town.
Walk in clinic, fantastic service, got there early, short wait, receptionist very efficient and noticed I was in pain so offered a room for me to lay down until Dr could see me. Dr had great bed side manner and calm demeanor.
