The most incredible view from a hotel room! Wow! The location alone makes this such a memorable hotel, but the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is very beautiful inside as well. The rooms are a decent size, and comfortable enough. The service is good, though you could tell they were currently understaffed due to a staffing shortage in the tourism industry. The only reason they lost a star is the dining - we found there were not many option for dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegan); Fairview in particular seemed to have a hard time accommodating these needs, and both Poppy Brasserie and Alpine Social were closed during our visit (we eventually were able to find a suitable option at Lakeview Lounge). Overall though, we can't wait to go back again someday. This was a very special stay for us.

This Hotel is amazing!!!! Spectacular lake view. The hotel has restaurant and shops and coffee shop. Everything you need. I really enjoyed our two night stay

The crystal clear water, the little chill in the air, the freshness in every breath. All 100% worth the trip to this majestic place. We visited it in October of 2021, some people prefer to visit it in summer, which is nice as the weather is a little warm, but I would highly recommend going in the fall. The air is a little chilly but there are fewer people and you are able to take in view without the crowd and take lovely pictures like I did. I would recommend visiting lake Louise and lake Morraine the same day. For lake Morraine go down the rocky path, then take the right at the fork, it's up a few high steps to a beautiful view. I got out of breath but that's because I am not in good shape. Tip: Wear warm colored clothes, they come very bright against the bright blues in the water.

Always beautiful. Been 20 years since last here. Crowds on Monday surprised us. The hotel is now off limits except for guest. Understandable considering the pandemic. But still worth the stop if only to drink in the lake and mountain view.

One of the most exquisite places to stay! The presidential suite spoiled us - the view, the service, the overall ambience of the Chateau is off the charts! If you haven’t been here it needs to be on your short list. The chateau is old but that’s part of the allure. It is very well kept! Appreciate the great service we received here.

Finally a hotel with a real working air-conditioning. Hotel's location is just perfect and hence the price but worth it!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the The Farimont Gold in Lake Louise, Alberta. We had a wonderful time thanks to the professional and kind staff throughout the hotel. Everything from the delicious food, beautiful rooms, attentive valet service, rental shop and photo studio employees, all made our vacation even more memorable. I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone.

You can see the milky way when you go outside after 10 pm.

Amazing views and you just can’t get enough of lake Louise no matter how much time you spend in front of it.

They offer unique experiences like Sunrise Canoe on Lake Louise and Moraine Lake which are a must try! I loved the Afternoon Tea and food at Lake Lounge was great. The staff is super helpful and will help you arrange things if you are celebrating occasion! Gold class rooms with lake view are my choice and it was the best decision. Gazing Mountain and Lake Louise just filled the stay with eternal peace.

The furnishing and the decor are top notch just like what you would expect from a Fairmont. This continues our excellent experience after having stayed at the Banff Spring for two nights prior. Faye, despite being a new staff member at the Hotel, assisted with the check in with great hospitality and efficiency. The host, Leo, at Lakeview also displayed full professionalism. He even gave us blankets and moved our outdoor patio table to be closer to the gas heater. Fantastic show of dedication.

Picturesque. Always very busy. Use the Parks Canada shuttle to get there. Not expensive and saves the hassle of no parking available at the lake.
