This dental office is great. Had our first visits when we moved to Canmore and got amazing service from front staff, the hygienists, the Dental assistants and Dr Loga.

Terrible service, they messed up my benefits somehow, and then maxed out my credit card even though I am definitely covered (have never had issues at any other dentist). Couldn’t freeze my face did a terrible job on my fillings, still having sensitivity issues almost six months later, during the same visit, I was under the impression they were fixing another chipped molar, after the freezing wore off I realized not only did they not fill the chip, but it now feels bigger! My wife had to leave an appointment with out service as they were running so late. Will never be going back to this dentist, my only hope is I will be able to recoup the hundreds of dollars they charged to my credit card. I should mention that the hygienist who cleaned my teeth on my first visit was great.

I have been going to Downtown Dental for about 4 years. I have bad dental anxiety from an awful surgery experience 5 years ago at a different office. Dr Bagley has taken such care in my treatment and always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I feel like I am genuinely cared for when I go in and the reception staff are always lovely and endearing. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but downtown dental really makes the difference and I love the staff there.

Most companies that say they put the client first don't. They say it but it shows up in the little things that they don't mean it. Dr. Loga (sp?) gave me solid advice that resulted in less services being booked than could have been. That won me over. She really put my health and well being ahead of business interests. Jessica, the hygienist, was not only good but she didn't pad the time by taking a million breaks, like many others have in the past. She was fantastic and her experience shows in how gentle she handled inflamed areas.

Going to the dentist is never a fun endeavour but Canmore Downtown Dental flipped that mentality upside down. I have had some negative dental experiences in Canmore and Banff and I was hesitant to give this one a try. I had a friend recommend it and I am so glad they did. The staff was knowledgeable and Dr. Loga was incredible. Best of all, the atmosphere was most welcoming and comforting. As soon as you walk in, the stress of going to the dentist fades away. I highly recommend this dentist office to anyone who DOESN’T like going to the dentist. You’ll have your mind changed!

Goal achieved. Procedures are painless and executed to high standards. The hygiene and assisting staff are very knowledgable and continue to teach me things about dental care that I had been oblivious to. They’ve upped my game. My husband and I were referred to Dr. Bagley when we first moved to Banff from southern Ontario. We feel incredibly fortunate to have made this connection and have been extremely loyal patients (and fans) of Dr. Bagley since 2008. When Dr. Bagley's clinic moved to Canmore, we, without hesitation, followed him there. We would highly recommend Dr. Bagley and Canmore Downtown Dental for anyone wanting a positive dental experience, from start to finish. When I first met Dr. Bagley, I was experiencing the effects of a failed dental implant which had been done in Ontario a few years earlier. My concerns had been passed off as normal side effects by the Ontario specialist. But, I knew something was wrong. It was only when our good friend, who was a Dental Hygienist in Dr. Bagley's Banff clinic, suggested I see him, that I finally felt relief. Dr. Bagley immediately recognized there was a serious problem with my implant and put me at ease right away. Dr. Bagley handled my complex case with compassion and professionalism, personally ensuring that I was well taken care of not only by his highly competent staff, but by those specialists he had chosen to help me. Though the road to correcting my failed dental implant would be long, I was completely confident in Dr. Bagley and the exceptional team of professionals he had recommended to me. Dr. Bagley listened to me and intervened in what could have resulted in a far more complicated and traumatic situation. I can honestly say that I looked forward to every step of the procedure because I knew things would get better. And they did, thanks to Dr. Bagley's thorough attention and care. Fool me once - ok, my fault, fool me twice - shame on you. It is extremely pricey dentist office and you can't find out how much are you going to pay prior the procedure. "About $1200" was actually over $1600 and once they were going to charge us before (that time we actually paid less than we were told at the beginning ...) If you are not happy with the price you will talk with very cold lady who will explain you that $400 or $600 difference "isn't that high" and doctors don't have anything to do with the price. pfff, who cares about few dollars, right? Finally the root canal that costed us over $1600 wasn't done properly so my hubby ended up going to the other dentist and paying again to get it done properly. Hours of pain and over $2000 we've spent. Honestly...the best things there were the view from their office and coffee.

It's not easy to tell someone they have 5 cavities and still have them really like you. But Dr. Gessa managed to do it. She is kind, listened and explained thoroughly, and I have all the confidence in the world that I am in good hands. The front desk staff and hygienists are friendly, and everything seems well run and shows that they care about their patients. I have gone to other dentists who seem to be in it to make as much money from you as possible, and this practice is nothing of the sort.

Horrible service, they tried 'upselling' our family on services we do not need. And continued to charge our credit cards months after service when we have never had an issue with our benefits covering 100% of dental. We did not receive any notification that they would be charging our credit card, only discovered the charges when we looked our credit card statement. I also went in for a follow up service and sat in a chair for 45 minutes without anyone seeing me. Only to have to leave. I will never step foot in this place again.

DR. Gesa Loga is amazing, she is a "Dentartist"! I came in for a new bridge for my front teeth. I had no idea that my existing bridge was affecting my back teeth from closing (just something you get used to over the years). So not only did she make a nice looking set of new front teeth, she made it so I can once again chew properly. My jaw feels way better and I have less headaches. Thank you to Dr. Loga! Thanks also to the entire staff who are friendly, easy to talk to. I love the energy in the office.
