Did much research as well as talked with friends who had breast reductions before I decided to proceed with Dr. Doft who was recommended to me by a good friend. I also went on three consultations before deciding to go with Dr. Doft. When I met her, I immediately felt very comfortable and at ease. I love that she took the time to explain the procedure, allayed any fears or concerns I had and was very kind, personable and professional. Also after the surgery she called and checked in which I really appreciated. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. The results are spectacular and far beyond my expectations. Due to my end result my Aunt is now considering a breast reduction with Dr. Doft next and the recommendations continue on! Dr. Doft treats each and every patient with the very best in ongoing care and attention. After my second post op checkup, she examined me for 5 minutes and said I was healing perfectly (I truly believe a lot of that is credited to her wonderful suggested homeopathic regimen pre and post op – I hardly had any bruising!) After the examination, we ended up talking for 20-30 minutes – she truly cares about her patients. I first visited her office for fillers and was so pleased with the experience that I decided to go back and discuss a larger issue: making some changes to my nose (something I've always been insecure about). I had a breast reduction done by Dr. Doft in March 2019 and as other reviews have stated, I do not think I would have felt so comfortable going through with the procedure if it wasn't for Dr. Doft’s expertise and kindness. During my initial consultation she took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions that I had (Was it the right choice to make? Am i old enough? Was it actually going to relieve my pain?). As a female in my early 20’s I was hesitant about going through with this procedure, but Dr. Doft assured me that she would help me to feel so much better-- and she was right. On the day of my surgery I had at least three other hospital staff members comment on how incredible Dr. Doft was and that I “definitely chose the right surgeon”. I think that it speaks volumes that not only is she clearly appreciated by her patients, but is also highly respected by her coworkers. My mom lives six hours away and therefore was unable to be there for the surgery. Without me even needing to ask, Dr. Doft took the time after surgery to call my mom and speak with her directly to tell her the details of how surgery went. My mom was so grateful to have an immediate update from the doctor herself-- not just my post-surgery-sleepy opinion on how things went. It is also important to note how incredible Dr. Doft’s office manager, Michelle, is! I called the office 10+ times before and immediately after my surgery to ask so many questions and figure out scheduling issues. Throughout the process Michelle was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I never felt like a nuisance for asking even the smallest and silliest of questions, which is not always the case at many doctor’s offices. I truly credit my smooth recovery to Dr. Doft’s skillfulness. The scars that the surgery left are incredibly clean, thin, and better than I could have ever imagined them looking. Dr. Doft sent me care instructions and even offered a list of homeopathic options which I sincerely appreciated. When I looked in the mirror and saw myself for the first time after surgery I remember not being able to hold back tears of joy. I have wanted a breast reduction since 8th grade and I was finally able to look in the mirror and not hate what my chest looked like. Dr. Doft honestly changed my life for the better and I could not be more grateful for her.

I had chronic major back pain due to having breasts that were too large for my body. I had spent years, YEARS trying to decide if I actually wanted to go through with a breast reduction surgery. Finally, (due to being kicked off my parents health insurance soon) I decided that I should just get it done. I've never had major surgery before so I was terrified. But I looked up plastic surgeons on my health insurance website to see who accepted it. I found Dr. Doft. She already had great reviews but I was nervous (especially as a woman of color and having a general fear of doctors). I even brought my mom with me to my first appointment. But my mom wasn't needed! Dr. Doft was right off the bat incredibly friendly and thorough in her explanation of the surgery, what to expect, how to prepare, etc. The day of the surgery, she told me that it should only last about 2 hours, but she was done even quicker! I went home the same day! A few days later, I went in for my post op appointment and all things considered they looked amazing! She removed just under 4lbs from my chest (leaving me with a D cup). Her and her office staff were also very attentive after my surgery when I had late night questions and sent emails or texts. Now it's 3 months post surgery and I feel so much relief! A lot of my back pain has disappeared, I feel more confident, I've lost a ton of weight, I can wear size mediums again! And I can exercise again and my general quality of live has greatly improved. I highly recommend Dr. Doft because she's a great doctor and a fantastic surgeon. It never hurts to schedule a consultation!

Dr. Doft is incredibly skilled, and has a fantastic bedside manner. When I needed stitches on my face she was the first and only doctor I thought to call. She stitched me up, taking extra care as it was on my face. Other doctors suggested staples or fewer stitches, but Dr. Doft opted for multiple smaller stitches, even though it was more work intensive for her, as she knew it would give me a better result. She was right, when I show friends where I was stitched up no one can tell that I had an injury at all. She is the best, meticulous, and has a great tableside manner. I highly reccomend her.

Very misleading. Just to start I don't have many doctor visits or experience dealing with doctors and their billing. So the first question I asked was if the procedure was fully covered and if there was any out of pocket expenses. Without hesitating she said no, it would be covered by my insurance. Didn't think anything of it, she answered quickly so I thought just experience. The 2min procedure was done, sometime passes and the bill arrives. To my surprise the bill was not fully covered and 1k is due. She should have been more considerate taken the time to answer my questions accurately and made sure we were ok with what was due. I finally realized why she rushed through our hospital visit, she was literally in and out. I tried speaking with her and she would not take my calls and her office staff keeps telling me I must pay.

Dr. Doft is a shining light. With patience and warmth, Dr. Doft supported me at all stages of the journey, and especially while I took (ample!) time to make the decision to have my procedure.
