I booked an consult cause my friend told me about them and she was happy with the result, few mins before my virtual consult a very rude lady from his office called and she was telling me that I didn’t send my photos,( I some how didn’t hear her telling me that I have to send photos) I was shocked with her tone to the point that I wanted to cancel my appointment, then I asked her to give me few mins to send it, so I quickly sent them and had my meeting, the doctor was very nice and explained mostly everything. But I was still gonna go and do the sizing and meet with the doctor, I email her to book an appointment but she basically asked if I’m hoping to book the surgery. This is an expensive surgery and you’re gonna be under For it , so building trust with your clients is everything, and you should have a little bit of a costumer service. This doctor needs to hire better people to run his Clinic, cause just like this he lost one client.

Dr. Rice is a 5 star surgeon. I agree with other reviews about his staff. They are strangely blunt and distant, 2-3 stars at best, which is why this is only a 4 star rating. They do the doctor a disservice. I encourage Dr. Rice to find support staff that are big hearted and warm like him.

The entire team started off making me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I had an abdominoplasty 2 years ago from a different plastic surgeon. After additional procedures, revision etc... I was extremely frustrated to still be unhappy with the results. Dr. Rice instantly reassured me that he could create the results I had been looking for with an additional full abdominoplasty with liposuction. And he did just that. I am thrilled with the final results!! I am 4 weeks post op. The pre-op and post surgical care was well informed, detailed and thorough. I would recommend this team ...hands down!!!

Dr. Rice and his Staff are absolutely fantastic! Starting from the warm welcoming of his Staff and Office Manager Guylaine, to Dr. Rice's incredible surgical expertise and kind bedside manor; you simply couldn't ask for more positive experience!! I am so pleased with my surgical outcome (BA w/lift), and a second separate small procedure done under local in his office. I had 2 other consults with other surgeons for their medical opinion on my BA w/lift, just to see what the general consensus was across the board (which was the same as Dr. Rice's... strangely enough, also with a higher price; not that cost is the be all and end all, quality over cost is most important). But I already knew in the end that I would be going to Dr. Rice as my surgeon. There are many Plastic Surgeons in Toronto, but I can assure you that you wont find the same comfort level and positive outcome post surgery as you would from Dr. Rice.

Dr. Rice seemed like a very kind and wonderful doctor (for the 5 minutes that we spoke for my consultation), however, the woman he sent in to follow up was the most vicious and condescending person I have come across in a very long time. I was utterly shocked with her body language and the way she spoke to me. It took EVERYTHING in me to bite my tongue and wrap up the conversation so I could get the heck out of there. I was there for a breast implant removal consultation, which has been a severely difficult decision for me, and I walked out of there more confused then I went in. I can't really give anymore stars than one because I think Dr. Rice should have spent more than 5 minutes talking to me about my options before I was shifted to talking to someone about money. It felt like I was wasting there time. In hindsight I wish I had just snapped back, because people shouldn't get away with this blatant client abuse. If Dr. Rice is unaware of this then I would hope he takes action immediately to engage his staff in transitioning to respectful and ethical communication.

I spoke to Stacey first who asked me general questions about myself and was ever so nice and then I spoke with Dr Boudana who thoroughly went over everything explaining the procedure so I understood every aspect pre and post expectations. I spoke with Anna who was so friendly after the consultation. I left feeling I have made the right decision and am looking forward to my breast reduction.

2014 had implants put in and they are beautiful. Unfortunately health Canada has taken those ones off the market for health reasons. Dr Rice saw me literally the next day and is giving me any size and projection implant I want without cost. Just the surgery cost so at a huge discount within a week. I am grateful he dealt with the situation with so much grace and patience and put my mind at ease. Hopefully with this covid stuff the surgery won't need to be postponed. See you hopefully on the 26th. -Georgia

Went to this place for my tattoo removal. I was told that 3-5 sessions will do complete removal. After the first session literally had no results. When I came for the second session I was told that this is normal and I need 12 sessions in total. Haha seriously? I guess they forgot the original estimate. Anyways it doesn't matter I would go there 12 times if they were at least nice to me. The guy at the reception was rude and unprofessional. The nurse that did the treatment during the second session when I complained that I want better results this time as it costs a lot of money for me ($565 for a session when my tattoo is a size of a box of matches) on which she replied that people pay her even more than that! Seriously? Wow! Anyways I just stood up and left. What a waste of time and money! The most interesting part that after I left I called another place that has an identical laser machine and got a quote over the phone that is exactly twice less. Strongly recommend doing your research before heading to this place. Spoiled unprofessional bunch of liers. Sorry for my honesty but they deserve it.

Friendly office staff and perhaps I was just nervous going in and didn’t ask enough question and out sizing, I had a breast reduction done 2 years ago and I’m still dealing with the scars. Sadly they healed badly especially under the breast and size is larger than I expected. So just be mindful and ask all the questions you’ve got in mind.

This doctor has no care in the patients best interest. All he cares about it money. The staff there are so rude too; no way would I ever recommend anyone to go here. Know of multiple patients that have come here for work & have had to get multiple reconstructive surgeries afterwards. Good luck if you choose him

This review is regarding my experience with reception and therefore my first impression with the practice. Called to follow up on a referral and the receptionist was rude and seemed unwilling to help. She asked when my referral was sent, to which I answered I wasn't sure exactly when my doctor's office had sent the referral and the response was "we have hundreds of referrals so I won't be able to book you an appointment today." No attempt was made to help me with my request after that and I was confused, was it because she couldn't find the referral? So I said can I give you my name? At which point she said sure and found it. I then asked if I could book that appointment in the next few weeks and her answer was verbatim "no, as I said we have HUNDREDS of referrals before you" and went on to say she'd call me once she got through setting up appointments for everyone else. I understand she may feel overwhelmed with her workload, and that she may find my hope to schedule an appointment in the next few weeks unrealistic - fine. Kindly explain that it'll take some time. To be so dismissive to a patient seeking some help is unnecessary. Dr. Rice sounds great, but I agree with the previous poster - reception is the face of the clinic and is the first point of contact so establishing trust and providing good service is imperative.

Dr.Rice explained me everything before the procedure and on the day of the surgery, him and his team made me feel very comfortable and safe. I’m very satisfied with the results! Went to have a breast reduction after 14 year of contemplating the surgery. One of the staff members that spoke to me the most was very condescending and dismissive the entire process. My questions had contradicting answers from different staff members, when I asked to speak with a medical professional I was denied multiple times and was also denied a pre-op. I wish I ran. I was giving the practice the benefit of the doubt during Covid especially since I heard great things about Dr. Rice. I really regret getting my surgery here. The entire experience has been traumatizing and Im reminded of it looking in the mirror every day. My nipples were repositioned at the top 1/4 of my breasts and easily slips out of full coverage bras. I got this surgery to improve my quality of life and in ways than I couldnt have imagined it has gotten worse.

From my very first phone call, to my consult and surgery and after care, I am extremely pleased with Dr Rice and his staff, particularly Cybelle, recovery nurses and last but not least, their anesthesiologist. I came in for a consultation at this clinic a year ago, but I still remember the appalling service I received. There were no other clients at the clinic and the staff were so rude and confrontational, I was afraid to ask anything! The manager told me that the skin treatments I came in for aren't their main business and she actually said that they'd be doing me a "favour", even though the procedures would cost several thousand dollars. I don't understand... you're a cosmetic surgery clinic, but cosmetic surgery isn't your main business? It was weird too when I asked about their products at the front, the receptionists gave me the most disgusting attitude - no amount of surgery could ever fix that! Aren't you supposed to be trying to sell that stuff?

I had a very positive experience. Dr. Rice is quite knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Cybelle followed up and took the time to make sure the procedures will be done with no surprises. I think some of the negative comments are coming from people who want a "sales job". Cybelle was quite forward and realistic and perhaps that's what makes for the misconstrued comments. We all want to look like a model but realistic expectations should be discussed with all plastic surgeons. This isn't my first "rodeo" but I sure am excited about getting some "fine tuning" with Dr. Rice.

Everyone at the office is polite, friendly, very professional; always taking the time to explain the procedures and expected outcomes. I saw Dr. Rice because I've always wanted to try lip injections for fuller looking lips. I have to say my experience was great! Dr. Rice and his staff are all very friendly and professional. Dr. Rice gave me the lips I wanted without looking like some women that go over board with the "duck look". He was gentle, and took time to really listen to my expectations and did an awesome job. I now have fuller natural looking lips. I am very happy with the results, would recommend him 100%.
