I would never recommend this surgeon to anyone ever. In fact I would suggest anyone but Dr Chitte. After many cancellations the surgeon I previously had recommended Dr Chitte which was the worst recommendation I have ever received in my life. I have a cleft palate and so he performed a rhinoplasty with a graft taken from my rib. Dr Chitte performed a surgery that he was in no way qualified to do after telling me he would be able to better the look of my nose. He worsened it so much I literally had to get ANOTHER surgery to fix it. Let me tell you all, as an adult with a cleft palate I have seen many doctors and many surgeons and I have never seen someone so unqualified. He waited until about 3 weeks after my surgery to remove my nose plaster and the tampon-like stuffing in my nose. Stuffing that had obviously grown with my new healing skin and dried up blood. He waited 3 weeks to remove my stuffing and removed it by pulling them out with blunt force. I cannot tell you all the unimaginable pain I felt. I could literally feel my skin rip and the amount of blood that came pouring out of my nose after he ripped them out did was inexplicable. My septum wasn't straight and so I had trouble breathing, after the surgery (in which he used the graft to attempt to strengthen and straighten my septum), after the surgery my breathing was even worse than it was before. I cannot explain to you all the emotional turmoil I had to endure trying to recover not only from a physically draining surgery but one that benefitted me in NO WAY. Dr. Chitte performed a surgery he was absolutely unqualified to do and the fact that he took my case and told me he could better the look of my nose instead of just being honest about his lack of skills just boggles my mind. I suggest to everyone to never let this man operate on you and I would never let him operate on me again. Two years after that surgery, I went all the way to Toronto to have Dr Jeffrey Fialkov fix and actually successfully better the look of my nose. I now have an extra useless scar because I was forced to do a second rib graft for the second surgery. Let me conclude this by saying, a doctor who can't admit his own lack of expertise is not a doctor I would want operating on anyone... ever !

Dr.chitte did a very good job on my hand/thumb for my nerve. Had pain ,tingling and burning in hands and fingers and no strength i am post op 3 weeks and have no pain at all thank you dr.chitte haven't taken any pain meds in 2 weeks

Dr. Chitte removedly breast implants and gave me a lift. I am overall happy with the results, although I did express I thought one nipple was a bit higher than the other. 3 years later and its still higher than the other one...but not that bad. I just wanted them perfect.

Doesnt send any reports been four month haven't heard back no report has been sent to my family doctor had this wound for three years now I do not recommend this surgeon ... Better off to see someone else

Dr Chitte and his staff are amazing. Professional, friendly and always available to answer my questions. The care I received before, during and after surgery was exemplary!!! The results of my surgery are more than I expected.

A couple years ago, I nearly cut my left thumb off with my band saw. Dr.Chitte repaired my handiwork quite effectively. My thumb now is as strong and nimble as ever. I have some more work to be done to my right hand now - fixing some trigger finger: I have no trouble putting my hand in his.

I had a very bad experience with this so called plastic surgeon. I had double mastectomy and he assured me that he knew what he was doing. After several attempts to fill my expanders, they were not filing up with saline. Asked him why and his answer was "I don't know". He had to take them out and start again. He knew as well that my left side was smaller as more breast tissue was taken out and he blamed the oncologist that he took muscle out. Not the case, I was made so much smaller than what I was before my cancer. I looked like a science project! I expressed how I felt and it affect my mental health and his answer was "well there isn't much more I can do". I suggested to do fat graphing and he said that they did not have the equipment so I had to wait. He assured me that I was a priority and then he moved to a private clinic called the Ottawa clinic where they perform Botox, breast augmentation (which they can charge more to the patient than what a breast cancer reconstruction from ohip). So I kept on getting bumped and bumped for at least 1 year. I was tired of fighting to fix my problem so I decided to take a break (as it was affecting my mental health as he made me feel so bad for asking). A year went by so and my mental state was getting better so I decided to start again only to find out when I called the Ottawa clinic that I required another referral. I couldn't believe that they would ask for another referral from my doctor when I was a patient of theirs. So, I did get a referral and they never called me for an appointment. I then was able to find a great plastic surgeon at the Civic Campus and was so relieved that she knew what she was doing.

A little over a year ago I had broken my hand quite severely and after a visit to the ER learned that surgery was the only way to fix it. Dr. Chitte explained the two options for how this surgery would go down - full open hand surgery with plates used to reconnect my metacarpals; or his preference of non invasive surgery using small incisions and surgical pins to carefully realign my bones. He was successful in the non invasive surgery and a year a half later, with some post operative therapy, my hand is functional and with very little scaring. He exceeded my expectations, I would have no hesitation to recommend Dr. Chitte to anyone.
