I just thought I should let the public know how satisfied I have been with the skin care I have received for many, many years with the Derma Skin Care clinic. Dr. Sajic and his supporting staff are not only superb at their jobs but also very personal. Dr.Sajic explains clearly what needs to be done ( biopsies etc.) and there is always follow up appointments if necessary. I just had 4 skin biopsies a few weeks back and his assistant who performed these quickly put me at ease and explained exactly what she was doing and did these in a painless way. I got clear instructions as to what I needed to do the following week and when I would receive the results of the biopsies. Debbie does an excellent job at the desk and making subsequent appointments. I am willing to drive from Kitchener to be looked after by this group because of the quality of care I have received over the years. John Shaw

I'm not sure if I was there on an off day but after waiting over 40 minutes for Dr. Rubio to see me he rushed through my appointment, didn't ask about a previous history, and disregarded my skin concerns. It's just disappointing waiting months for an appointment, trying to keep my very irritated skin calm until I could get professional help just to be told there's nothing wrong with my skin.

Seriously needed help and yet again nothing. After living with a painful condition for over a decade I thought i would finally get help. I met with Dr. Sajic and insisted i knew my condition and have tried many options. He informed me of my condition which i already knew and basically ignored everything I mentioned. Here is an idea, listen to your patients and address their concerns. Instead of actually trying something new or a different route which he stated there were many different options,I was requested to get blood work done again and wait another 8 weeks to talk. Really? Like you are too busy to look at my medical records.Going to be honest it was like listening to a pre fabricated phone message. Maybe he should do his consults via email and not waist peoples time. Is there anyone out there that can actually help?

Staff were really helpful and friendly and the doctor was very professional (I suggest anyone interested to look up reviews on realself or published studies online) Rooms were clean and also they put on Netflix when I was doing the treatment, staff were trying to sell me some Skinceuticals products but not pushy when I said I didn't want to as I didn't really like the sample

I last came in for my consultation back in December and immediately felt welcomed. The clinic is very clean and modern. It can be busy but to me I took that as a positive sign, that just made me feel like I had made the right choice as a busy clinic means they’re doing something right. Since my skin is something I tend to be insecure about, I’m always a little tentative talking about it or having it looked at. However, my experience here made me feel so comfortable. I felt that Dr. Sajic actually listened to what I was telling him and helped me find a solution that was best for both my skin and my routine. I didn’t feel rushed and was never pressured to purchase products I didn’t need, something that I find has always happened with other doctors I’ve seen. The clinic staff are not to be forgotten either, from the second I walked in to the second I left they made the experience so much better. Big thanks to the team here, I will definitely be coming back!

If I could give this clinic less than one star I would. If you are going to see this dermatologist for anything other than aesthetics I would highly recommend being ready to advocate for yourself. It took two years for me to convince him the spot on my face was skin cancer. Once I finally arrived at the MOHS CLINIC (highly recommend) for the procedure to have it removed they told me the spot on my nose, that Dr Sajic insisted was “just a mole”, was indeed skin cancer as well, luckily they removed both the same day. It was a long, gruelling 6 hours that also included a skin graft on my nose from my forehead. I WILL NOT be returning for follow up at this clinic. Unfortunately for him I am in the health care industry and know many people who will not be sent his way. I am 35 and probably should have listened to the bad reviews two years ago ????

Patient ‘ Nurse, did you not apply an anesthetic to the area prior to my cyst removal?’ Nurse, ‘ Hmm, , maybe not. By the way, no need for you to return as the sutures dissolve’. Patient, ‘I thought the Dr. said come back in a few weeks?’ Nurse checks the empty package... ‘ You’re right. Come back in two weeks to have them removed.’ Patient’, ‘I won’t be returning’. I’m not one to write poor reviews or complain. I was expecting the hour plus wait so that didn’t bother me. I tried to call 3 times to convey my experience, but even the phone number on their own hand out, Wound Care Instructions, is wrong... Dog and Pony Show.

Dr Sajic and his team are amazing!! I booked in for a consultation so that I could be best assessed and treated for what I NEED. There are a lot of treatments out there and it was nice to have someone break them down for me and put them into layman's terms! After my initial consultation I was given some treatment options that best fit my budget and schedule. I just finished my Chemical Peel Sessions (a total of 3 - which is recommended by the clinic) and I have noticed HUGE change in my skin. My pigmentation is almost completely unnoticeable and the overall health of my skin has NEVER BEEN BETTER!! My breakouts are controlled and I haven't been able to say that since I was in high school. Dr S & Brianna have given me more than just great skin to reflect on. They have given me better daily self-confidence and HOPE that my skin isn't "impossible" : )! This is the case with Derma Skin Institute. I have had the exceptional fortune of meeting Dr. Dusan Sajic and his wonderful staff (Natasha, Sara, Michelle and Lexy) to assist me in making a decision about reducing excess flabbiness around my midsection. The knowledge, professionalism and candor of these great people armed me with all the facts that I needed to make an informed decision: V-Shape Ultra and Body Contouring. As soon as you enter the clinic, you are made to feel welcome and are handled diligently. The clinic is modern, bright, spotlessly clean and adorned with aesthetically pleasing furnishings, prints and the latest technological medical equipment where a person can achieve a personal transformation (both in mind and body). The entire staff (nurses, manager, technicians) are incredible and encourage you to call if you have further questions after you leave the office; most of the time they take the time to contact you in advance – an act that is woefully absent in today’s medical profession. Dr. Dusan Sajic, has a precision and attention to detail that never goes unnoticed. He exudes kindness, understanding, honesty and realism, all the while being extremely professional. Never are you rushed and never is he one to “upsell” you upon any treatment option; rather he indicates what may or may not be of benefit to you based on your expectations. In the last year or so I've started to get acne, primarily on my chin and nose. I've tried a few different treatments now at the clinic (laser, topicals, chemical peels) and am always excited to go in for my appointments with Dr. Sajic and his team. The girls are so knowledgeable about skin care and always have something new to share with me. There's so much I know now that I didn't before and I finally feel confident with my skin. Most recently, I decided to try Xeomin (botox) for the first time for the wrinkles that have formed on my forehead. After a few days I started to notice results, but it actually took 2 weeks to see the full effects. Now after almost a month later, the lines have faded drastically. Dr. Sajic and Tasha thought they may need to try a laser as well, but the Xeomin ended up being enough. I didn't realize the impact it would have on my face overall. I think my skin looks more youthful and well-rested than it did before.

Worst ever encounter, Seems to me, he's in business as a make work program..been there on three different visits, which my G.P recommended me to go see. Then after he seen me 3x he turns around and says he has CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $100.00 in the next visit To DO same thing, my G.P used to do FREE . This is why most people can't affort to give employees full benefits.

2 stars. Where to start. This place just packs people in like sardines. It's one thing to accommodate appointments but another to just keep taking people until theres literally no room in the waiting room. I last went in the winter and we all had to take off our boots, so there was an ocean of boots outside of the office and a waiting room crammed full of people and their wet feet. The nurse practitioner and dermatologist are stern and not approachable. They barely examined my skin and just threw all the remedies at me that they could think of. When I asked for advice because I'm the patient and they are the experts, they basically said it was up to me to choose amongst pretty much all the options there are. What do I know? Every time I was there I felt like they were just trying to get rid of me. The only reason I give any stars is because I wound up with a treatment that worked. However I could have just gotten it from my family doctor if I had asked her to look up the best acne treatments.

I would like to commend Dr. Sajic's team. I am an eczema sufferer and also struggle with acne scarring, so I am a bit scared to try facial treatments. However, my experience with their treatments and products has been fantastic and no bad issues so far. Brianna, is such an excellent esthetician and I am doing sylfirm and bela md with her and I am enjoying every experience with minimal downtime-- such an excellent skin care clinic to recommend and will continue to be their client.

He is not the best at checking for skin cancer. He makes you stand in underwear as opposed to lying on table under a paper blanket for some dignity as most other doctors do, He is too interested in making money for getting rid of wrinkles. He should stick to taking care of skin issues not wrinkle issues.. will not go back. Did some work on my face but forgot to apply numbing gel. There is. Thing positive I can say about him.

I had a wonderful first visit to Derma Skin Institute. I experienced a microdermabrasion performed by a lovely, well educated medical esthetician leaving my skin radiant and clean! Following this I met with Dr Sajic who then performed my first botox treatment. His was very professional and knowledgeable about dermatology alleviating any anxieties I had knowing it was my first time. Overall, from the doorway upon entering to exiting I was thoroughly impressed! My skin looks and feels the best it has in years! I look forward to my next visit!

Where to start... my first appointment was during the winter. I was referred by my doctor since I was having some skin issues. My first visit left me with a sour taste. There was a whole ordeal with my first appointment, they cancelled it, moved it to another clinic, then I called to reschedule and asked if I was supposed to rechedule with this other clinic, they said that I could still come here. After clarifying that I was still allowed to come here for my appointment, I had to clarify that the time was not going to be changed again. When I got to see the nurse practitioner, she was very unapproachable and a bit rude to be honest. The doctor was better, he answered all the questions I had and I didn’t feel rushed with him. I’m not sure if they treat all referrals like this because they know that they won’t be making much out of your appointment, but it’s pretty preposterous how they treat people. For my third appointment they had left me a message 3 days before my appointment letting me know that the doctor couldn’t see me at my appointment time so they had to reschedule for a later time. No reason given. I tried calling but I couldn’t since I work and during my lunch time they don’t answer the phones. I tried calling the day of the appt to see when I was supposed to come in but no one answers until 10:00 even though they open at 9:00... my appt was at 9:30... and their cancellation machine states that it doesn’t deal with any other issues other than cancellations and since I was not cancelling my appointment I wasn’t sure what to do. I had to come into the clinic to see when my appointment time was and on top of that they told me that they had to reschedule my appt or I would have to pay a fee to see the doc since my health card was”invalid” in their system. Which... wasn’t true since I had just renewed it and it expired in 2023. The receptionist said that I only had those two options and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager to which I said yes. After she went in to speak to someone they fixed the issue and I was able to see the doctor at my original appt time (which wasn’t clarified until I asked, good thing I still came in at 9:30 otherwise they would have charged me 100$ for not showing up even though they wanted to reschedule my appt- Silly right?). It is currently 10:25 and I still have not been seen so I guess that I will have to wait til 10:30 which was the later appointment that they had offered to reschedule to. I wish that they could have just told me to come back at 10:30 so that my time wasn’t wasted. It just seems like they are very unprofessional and they jerk around their patients. The only reason as to why I came back is because the treatment prescribed has been working and I don’t know how long it would take to refer me to another dermatologist plus they are close to home. I guess I’ll just have to deal with or ask if my doctor can refer me to someone else I’m the area. Very unhappy with the service.
