Oh my gosh, where to begin? I messaged AFYA last year to inquire about lip fillers when they had a great deal and it just wasn't the right time for me. I had started thinking about it again recently, so I messaged them on Instagram. Michelle was so kind and gracious and went out of her way to message the owner to see what they could do for me (without me even asking). The owner was kind enough to give me a great deal based on the offer last year (this blew me away) and I was booked in for my appointment that night!! When I got to the spa, it was absolutely gorgeous. The decor is breathtaking and you can tell it's been thought out really well. Emily met with me to do my consultation and she was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable from the get go and answered my questions. She mentioned a couple of other services I may like in the future but in no way pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable. She treated me like a 5-star guest. Then, Shelby did my actual filler. She walked me through the procedure, the risks, and asked me what I was looking for. I wasn't picky and it was my first time so I just let her run with it. Shelby was really funny and kind. By the end of the treatment I felt like I had known her for years. She has that ability to make you comfortable. She is a huge part of the reason I would come back. The treatment itself hurts like a son of a b, but it was so worth it. My lips, though swollen, look absolutely stunning and it's a dream come true. I called my mom up afterwards and we're already planning to go back for some other services / treatments. I am super extra about the spas I go to and I would 10/10 recommend AFYA. I was impressed beyond words. Sorry, the review is long, but it warranted a shout out to all of these wonderful ladies. Amazing work and thank you for giving me the lips I've always wanted!

I went there for micro needling and fractora treatments and paid a big amount of money, it is the most expensive place. They recommend those treatment for their highest benefits compared with other treatments. I discovered all is a waste of money and Time. I don't recommend these treatments.

Joelle and her staff are kind, caring, and most importantly, patient. I found my experience to be very informative, but I wasn't pressured into making a decision on the spot. Joelle explains things quite thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed about my treatment, especially since it was my first time. I came away with great results after just one treatment of IPL, and look forward to seeing more improvements as I work with the staff at AFYA to clear up redness and acne on my face.

This is my SECOND experience dealing with this business and am disappointed yet again. I called about thirty minutes prior to picking up and paying for my curb-side order to confirm that it was ready to go... As soon as I got there, myself and two others were waiting outside for someone to open the door. We called multiple times and knocked on the door and no one picked up the phone or came to greet us. Extremely irritated with these people's incompetence to professionally run a business. Huge waste of time and I feel sorry for the two others who as well went out of their way to be wholly ignored.

You don’t think you need a 90 min facial... ...until you experience the Anti-Aging Luxe 1.5 hour Facial at AFYA Skin & Body with Michelle Moncrieffe. Truly I have never felt so relaxed in a facial (you’re invited to disrobe and hop on a comfy heated treatment table for max relaxation ) and the glow my skin had for the next MONTH was almost unreal! If you want to look fresh-faced without wearing makeup in your 40s and beyond, this needs to be a non-negotiable part of your monthly self-care routine. I loved the low pressure way my Michelle explained and recommended after-care products and I’m so glad I took her advice. The lines they carry are the real deal and I’ve been so pleased with the AHA Exfoliation Cream & Skin Brightening Cream she shared. I highly recommend treating yourself to a truly luxe day spa at a AFYA. You won’t regret it.

This is an honest review- not intended as a hate comment. My skin was not sensitive- its a combination/oily skin. It sucks but I would not advised anybody to get influenced right away with all these medical grade products. They just want you to buy all these products but no supervision. This clinic does not have a dermatologist with them who can understand the physiology of whats happening on ur skin. I was hesitant at first but felt like I should give them a chance. Now my skin is MORE than sensitive and REACTIVe with anythinh put on. I remembered asking for a refund for retinol and insisted to keep it because its normal. Yeah it is, but their other vivier profucts is not hydrating enough for anyone who is purging and going through cosmetic procedures. Also, their new serum products did a lot of allergic reaction on my face- to a point of yellow fluid oozing and made it worse to a point of getting a bad dermatitis. They will just play around as if no harm will eventually result.Again, no dermatologist to fully analyse whats happening. For anybody reading this, if its ur first time- dont get influenced right away with these medical grade products. Does not mean their better, they also have higher chances of irritation to your skin. They misdiagnosed me also gave me wrong treatment for my skin which made it worse. My advised is if you are good with your skincare routine, keep it that way especially if you are doing facial treatments. Best of luck for those brave souls and hopefully you will not experience what I went through.

I was really interested in going it Afya because I saw all their inclusive body positive commercials and posts and it really resonated with me. I’m just a normal girl and was always intimidated by these places and treatments. I’m so glad I went in. They are exactly as they advertise and made me feel so comfortable. I also learned that I am really not alone in my skin concerns and that things I experience are normal! I’m so glad I went and spoke with them bc now after years of anxiety and worry and feeling like I don’t measure up I’m finally taking the steps to with them to get the treatments I’ve always wanted. I’m also obsessed with their P serum. What is in that? Magic???

It is really nice to go somewhere in Guelph for hair removal that is trans friendly. She was friendly and professional the whole time. I have been using a product for many years that worked so well for me and as soon as I went to AFYA the lady working pushed so hard to get me to switch and spend a RIDICULOUS amount of money - the product I was using before was even a product they sell. The new product was horrible and still is horrible on my skin, causing me to breakout more than I ever have before. It is clear they don't care about actually helping you, rather they pressure you into buying ridiculously expensive products for their profit. Extremely disappointed in this person's professional judgment considering I expressed how much I loved the effectiveness of the product I was using before. I HIGHLY recommend not going there.
