I just had a root canal by Dr. Singh and I must say that the only thing that was bothersome at all was the Novocaine injection in the beginning. Even that is tolerable compared to the pressure from the absess that will form if you don't get one when you need one. I must admit the pain was less than I thought.

Alana was amazing with me for an overdue cleaning today. I was most certainly overdue for my appointment and she was extremely polite and explained things to me in a way that didn’t cause me to feel any embarrassment (which in all honest I was prepared for). The office is spotless and the front desk is welcoming. The office manager Candice also went out of her way to help when trying to handle some insurance run around and was soo understanding.

Don’t use this form if you have kids. Dr. Smith has been my dentist since 6. I am currently 41. A new owner came and basically pushed my old dentist out and took over with out a cutesy explanation of where my dentist went. I continued attending my kids appointments there and today my son has his first filling and the dentist won’t allow me in the room with him as they do the procedure. They tried to explain the child does better with out the parent but I believe it’s my right to be with him. Very disappointed in the compassion here.

Dr. Curtis is such an excellent dentist. He saw how years of my teeth grinding due to an accident had caused enamel damage and quickly devised a treatment plan to re-build my teeth. With physiotherapy, I do feel like my facial structure was corrected and I don't feel like I need the night guard some nights. There was one time I misplaced my night guard and Dr. Curtis did not hesitate to order a new one for me for free. Even though my night guard was custom ordered from BC, he called around and made me a matching one! I am so grateful for the staff and the care I received during my treatment. I do have one major adjustment to be made in the lower left corner and he took the time to settle my jaw so that he does the absolute best in treating me. Thank you Dr. Curtis! ~Ruth Falk

This is the best dental clinic in Grande Prairie. They may not call you often or often book you for an appointment just like any other clinic but sure they will take care of your teeth. They are knowledgeable really professional and will give services that'll suit your needs and not rip you off. Thing is just that you might not have more appointment like other clinics cause they just give you what you need and will contact you when they think its time for you to have whatever that's need to be done but they are very good on what they are doing and they are all professionals from the receptionist to the Dentist like everyone. I will recommend them to anyone who is not happy with their present clinic or if you think you're bein ripoff.

I Had two wisdom teeth removed while I was awake, didn't feel a thing, and was given a detailed explanation throughout the entire procedure. Was very grateful I came to these professionals. Although Im covered in tattoos, I had been avoiding the dentist for over 15 years because of the pain I use to experience. This was my most pleasant experience yet and I will be going back soon for a few other small fillings and a whitening. I highly recommend going to Northern Dental Centre.

By far the most comfortable dental experiences I've had. Dr. Smith took great care and performed some exceptional bonding on my teeth where they were crooked and now are looking beautifully straight and natural. Dr. Singh also had me booked for a 4 hr appointment and I had very little difficulty setting up a time in his busy schedule to have the work I needed done. He performed two root canals on the upper and lower right teeth in my mouth. He also did an extraction of a root that was left behind by the last dentist I used to go to before I came to Northern Dental. The extraction was so quick and painless. The freezing before the procedure was almost painless due to her careful professional technique and verbal walkthrough as the process was being performed thanks to Coreen the hygienist. I also had the experience of having Tasha as the dental assistant for both experiences and she was excellent with the way she kept the fluids from building up during the procedures and the marvelous polishing job she did as well. Tasha is very meticulous and precise as she took great care making sure everything was smooth and that my teeth were flossing well. Her communication is so friendly but professional. It was easy to relax in the chair, it was not hard to be at peace during the whole procedure.....and that's not easy for me when I'm in the chair. Thanks guys, you rock! I never thought I'd say this but I actually look forward to my next visit. See you soon!

The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. They make a point of getting to know the patients and calling them by name. The staff is always pleasant and helpful with insurance and other questions. I have been coming here for many years and always feel like part of the family. Dr. Rami prides himself with being on time and is extremely professional. He made me feel right at home and as if I was a friend, I think he does that so he can stick me with a needle. The other staff, Erin and Erna were so nice and did a great job talking care of my teeth even when I gag during x-rays. They always try to remember "No Mint". Thanks for fixing my front tooth so I do not look like a toothless hockey player.

Visited Northern Dental for long overdue hygiene today. Their covid-19 protocols are excellent. I felt very safe with the whole procedure. My hygienist was her usual excellent self. Even though she had to use only picks for scraping as water is not allowed at present, she was gentle, and I was very comfortable. ????????????????????

If there were more stars I would rate this clinic as many as there are stars in the sky. I cannot be more happy. If I could hug Dr. Khalil I would. I was visiting from out of town and had severe tooth pain. This happened this passed week. I was in pain for two days on day three my pain was so much I needed Tylenol 3. Went to the nearest dentist got an x-ray and 3D scan but nothing could be done until a week or two for an appointment. He didn't think there was an infection, but as a Registered Nurse my gut and experience with tooth pain was telling me different. Got the Tylenol 3 but next day it was worse and not helping so I knew something was really wrong. I called around to so many places no one would take my email scans to help me urgently until I contacted Northern Dental Centre - Grande Prairie Dentist. Rachel the receptionist was very helpful. I sent her the Xrays and the scan and she said the dentist was not able to diagnose over email but said I should come in and see him right away and if anything needed to be done the office would do their best for next day or two. She replied to my emails within minutes. I was so thankful! I called at 2pm and I reached at 4:45pm. I was in so much pain he offered to give me medication on the spot but decided it was better to freeze the area and get started soon so that I would not be in pain. The staff was so welcoming. This was so much better or I would be in pain waiting any other way for another week or two. I was contemplating going back to Ontario but I needed to be here for personal and family reasons. I was in pain with an ice pack to my cheek and with no judgment they accepted me as in in pain and were so comforting that they would help me as soon as possible. He froze the area that was hurting so I could be pain free and told me to come back at 6:30pm to get started to help with the procedure of removing the pulp/nerve and hopefully finishing a root canal or come the next day and it would all be done. He could see I was in pain and was trying to squeeze me in his schedule it was so comforting to see that he cared. I was so thankful for any help because I was in so much pain. I went to get the antibiotics in the mean time and come back at 630pm. I was so thankful because I was able to go and feed my son in the mean time as he was finishing with another client. I came back and he finished the root canal the same day!!!!!. Dr. Khalil if you read this post. From the bottom of my heart....truly from the bottom of my heart what you did for me I am forever grateful. As a fellow healthcare professional the care that I received at your clinic was beyond amazing. I cannot thank you enough!. The pain went down substantially and with the antibiotic medication and anti inflammatory medication I didn't even continue the Tylenol 3. To the Staff at the clinic Rachel, Erna (who was there the whole time) and everyone that came to check on me and walk me in and ask me if I am okay. Thank you so much. May God bless you all. You all will be in my thoughts an prayers for all the help you have given me and many others I can only imagine. Thank you so much!!!!

I’m so grateful to be one of the client of Northern Dental Centre. From the reception, they were nice and helpful. To be honest this is my first time so I don’t trust them so much to do some works for my teeth. But when the lady(corine) started to do cleaning.tho it was really hard for me, and yet the way she entertained and encouraged me everything goes smooth and safely. Same with Mei as she worked with me for my 2nd day gentle and caring. And of course for my tooth filling I do really want to thank Dr. Singh for doing awesome job with my teeth He never hesitates to help me ,to offer nice options, and to keep me comfortably. The staff are awesome. Dr. Khalil and Morgan were very personable with an awesome sense of humor. Humor always helps in a situation like this. Extractions are one of my least favorite situations however this extraction (4 teeth) went very well. I experienced virtually no pain, Dr Khalil was very gentle and the extraction was completed very quickly. Today is day 2 and there is very little swelling and I have used very little pain medication. My family and I have been going to Northern Dental Centre for well over 10 years, we go in for regular cleanings and also more intense procedures (wisdom tooth extractions, root canals, etc.). We are happy to always be greeted enthusiastically by the beautiful ladies at the front desk. Dr. Smith is also incredibly considerate and has put in extra effort to become familiar with myself and my family, showing he cares about our well-being outside of the dental office. Was told my teeth were built up with a strong bond only to be told today it’s essential plastic and will brake. Now it’s seems they just want your money, no care as a client/customer. No payment plans. Really considering a new dental office. They’re kind enough but I’d like as much customer service as before, not to go backwards.

I have been coming to Dr Curtis Smith and his wonderful caring staff at the Northern Dental Centre fo over 10 years and I have nothing but GOOD THINGS TO SAY about them!!! I have had many cleanings ,at least 5 fillings,a root canal, and a bridge done, using my own tooth 30 years after it was totally broken off at the roots which had healed back into place.After all that time, the roots had died. Dr Smith said, we could use the top part of the tooth for a temporary bridge ! And 90 days later,he did! I am very comfortable coming to this clinic and they always do their very best to accommodate any of my concerns. Awesome! In a car accident in 1979 my wife had all of her front teeth broken off and pushed up into the roof of her mouth which took surgery to get out and her upper and lower jaw was broken in 5 different places. Her mouth never did line up properly again, and she suffered from major headaches for over 30 years. Because Dr Curtis Smith was doing such a great job with me, I asked him if he could do anything for my wife. After he examined her, he informed us that due to the extensive damage to her teeth and upper and lower jaw area he would be able to help but it would take more than a Just few visits. Well after he totally reorganized her dentures, her headaches came down 90% My wife was so thankful, she was in tears. Thank You Dr Smith!!! This man is such a talented Dentist. I went in to Northern Dental after many many years of not having benefits and dental care. The secretary was very friendly in giving me directions as to where the office was. I expressed all my concerns to Dr. Singh and his team, and they totally fixed my small gap i had on my front teeth, they look brand new, I couldn't stop laughing of joy. They also did a few quick filings and it went really smoothe, they put it all through my inaurance and only had to pay a small fee out of pocket, after spending 2000$ from benefits. If you are looking for a great Dental practice in Grande Prairie, this is the place. From the front staff/reception, dental hygienists, dental assistants to the dentist you will not be disappointed. I have received excellent dental work here. Including having a wisdom tooth pulled. Also, they follow the Alberta Dental Fee Guild. Not all dental practices do. From my experiences here I would highly recommend them.

Been visiting Northern Dental for years! Dr. Smith is top notch ????All the hygienist and office staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help. We recently seen the new Dentist on Wednesday. He was incredible with my son who ALWAYS needs nitrous for his appointment. He walked away in good spirits, no nitrous and convinced that the tooth just wiggled out and wasn't pulled. He was also very proud in the car to tell me that the dentist told him he was his favorite patient so far. Our family is greatful for such a wonderful Dental Office.

I had dental work done today. A root canal. ????. I have a lot of anxiety and I am petrified of the dentist seeing as I’ve had a very traumatic experience as a child. Dr. Rami and his staff are amazing. Super gentle and caring. They talked me through every step and reassured me during the procedure. I never felt anything during the entire procedure. He sent me home with a prescription and told me I would probably be sore for a few days. The freezing is long gone now and I am not sore at all.
