After driving to and from Ottawa to a popular vein clinic there and feeling like someone who they didn’t really care much about (rushed in, rushed through, no understandable presentation of my treatment options, recommended only their own treatment specialty without information about my options), I asked for a referral to see Dr. Macleod. I had my vein treatment consult today and I had a much more positive experience, as I’d expected. Dr. Macleod herself is delightful and easy to talk to. I felt seen and heard and that my experience and treatment outcome was important to her. I attended this clinic in the distant past to have a small lump removed, which was also done with this doctor, with a similarly positive set of outcomes. I really enjoy her bedside manner and I will be happy to have my veins treated here. Thank you Dr. Macleod. Looking forward to having this work done.

I’ve been meaning to write a review on Dr. Macleod for a while. I started seeing her for Botox over a year ago and recently had some filler (4 days ago). I love everything she’s done. The Botox was always impeccable, she never over did it, always listened and took note of my concerns and desires. She was also the fastest administer that I’ve ever had. And if you’re anything like me, finish up with the needle is the best part. I’ve lived in many places (Montreal, San Francisco and NYC) to name a few, and have been getting Botox in all these place (and more) for 15 years and Dr. Macleod is by far the best Dr. I’ve ever had. As for the filler, this is my first time getting it and I have nothing to compare it to but have to say...I look f-ing phenomenal! My face looks beautiful and again she took note of my concerns and didn’t over do it, nor did she try to convince me to do more. I was very sad to read the negative review both for that poor girl and for Dr. Macleod because my experiences with her over the past year have been wonderful. She’s energetic and enthusiastic, lovely to chat with, has always done a brilliant job on my face and has been respectful of my concerns and desired effect! I will be returning!

Dr. Caroline Sangers is absolutely wonderful. It is clear she loves what she does and is not only very professional, kind, funny and personable, she is extremely talented in her work. She has years of experience in the medical field which makes her a very trusted resource. I enjoyed my experience from start to finish today and look forward to my next visit with Caroline.

Had treatment to remove spider veins from my cheeks and I wasn’t totally thrilled with the results after paying over $300. I was going to cancel my 2nd treatment but the receptionist said to come in for a follow up so they could have a look. I come from 2 hours away so I booked the day off work and so did my husband for a 930am appointment on Friday and I got a call at 540pm the night before to say the machine that is used for this treatment is in for its annual service. When I asked if it went in just now I was told it had been gone since Wednesday but no one bothered to call and reschedule me until so late that I couldn’t even cancel my time off. Very disappointed with this unprofessional service. Even more surprised as they came highly recommended by at least 4 family members.

They treated me well but very irresponsible because they said they will remind me by email for my second tattoo removal session but nobody did. Also, i am having hard time to book my second session as no one picking my phone to book session.

Amazing! Just amazing. I am thoroughly thrilled with the results U cosmetics provided to me. I just love the way my skin looks after my treatments and feel so much more confident. My cheeks had large purple veins and always were red. I also had a lot of brown age spots that I was not happy with. My fault with a lot of time in the sun! I think the emotional effect was worse than the physical effect. I have lived with this for over 25 years! I tried every over the counter product there is with no results. With the encouragement of my daughters, I went to U Cosmetics. Dr. Sangers took one look and said, “Yes, you have rosacea and we can clear that up for you” I didn’t even know I had rosacea! You will totally love Dr. Sangers. She is so knowledgeable about all of the services she provides and has such an infectious laugh, you always know when she is in the office. I started with Photo Rejuvenation. Amazing results right from the start. My brown spots disappeared. My redness started to fade. I then completed my treatment with KTP laser to clear up the veins and my treatment went beyond my expectations. My skin looks so much nicer with no redness or veins. I had a couple of people ask me if I was using new skin cream or did I change my makeup. One even said my skin looks “dewy” A true compliment. It was a gradual and a comfortable transformation. Tanya, my technician was exceptionally helpful and encouraging. She did a great job in achieving my goals. I am so relieved that my skin problem went from embarrassing to non-existent in a relatively short time. The staff of U Cosmetics are knowledgeable, friendly and produce amazing results. I truly recommend you try this professional and caring skin care clinic. I’m glad I did!

WOW!!! What an amazing experience!! I just had Botox & Fillers for the first time on Sept 18/17 with Dr. Sangers...it has not even been 24hrs since the injections and I LOOK INCREDIBLE!!!! Dr. Sangers is truly a highly skilled artist in this field. She is a PRO and it shows. The administration of the injections were virtually 'pain free'..she was just so proficient and gentle. I immediately loved the results when she was done and it just keeps getting better ???? Dr Sangers engages with you and listens attentively to your needs. She is a wonderful woman and a doctor who makes you feel comfortable immediately. I cannot say enough about my experience...from the initial consultation to meeting Dr. Sangers and the procedure it rates 100% satisfaction! The results..by far..have exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be recommending U Cosmetic and Dr. Sangers to all my friends & family. I would not go to another doctor for this procedure cause I have found the Best! DR. MACLEOD RUINED MY FACE AND LIFE. DO NOT GO HERE. Dr. Macleod is not a dermatoligist and is a grossly irresponsible doctor. She left a permanent scar on my face during a patch-test for a CO2 laser treatment, which her staff claimed I needed to clear my acne scars. I was told within 1 week my skin would be completely healed and perfect. It was very clear that she burned my skin right away yet she consistently Gaslighted me and told me that it was healing beautifully. I told her staff that I did not want to get the full procedure done ($2,000) on my face because the patch was not healing, and they tried to bully me into getting it done and push other procedures onto me. Mind you, the nurse did not ask for an updated list of medications before the procedure, and Dr. Macleod was in a rush while performing it, as she ran out of the room saying, "I gotta go," as I was still laying on the OT. Her nurse told me I "handled it so well" considering Dr. Macleod "didn't have time to properly freeze me." I am still sick by the memory of the smell of my burning flesh and the excruciating pain that accompanied it. I had bruising and severe swelling around my eye and my skin was still bleeding after a week. Her assistant looked horrified by it during my first follow-up and said it was not normal. But Dr. Macleod brushed it off and said I would love the results eventually, she just had to go harder on the VERY THIN SKIN around my eyes because I had "medium scarring". Over a month later, my skin is very sore, red, and is starting to keloid. I went to a dermatologist in Toronto yesterday who was horrified by my skin and said I needed an emergency procedure, which she performed on the spot. I will now have to spend upwards of $3,000 just to fix the damage Dr. Macleod has done to my face. The dermatologist said it will take a year to see improvement and I will be left with a permanent scar. I have developed severe depression and PTSD from this event, which is seriously affecting my performance in grad school and overall health. This is by far the worse thing that I have ever done in my life. Dr. Macleod and her staff have yet to apologize or even acknowledge that they burned my skin. Her secretary said there was no way my complaints were true as my file said I was, "healing perfectly."The dermatologist wondered if Dr. Macleod even knew that she burned my skin, as she is clearly not a competent doctor. I have reported her to the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. I hope Dr. Macleod gets her medical license revoked, but I write this review with a great sense of responsibility to prevent this from happening to anyone else. And I thank God I did not do my whole face. I would have been left severely disfigured for life.

The staff and everyone was great but don't go if you're getting a tattoo removal. I paid $350 for 2 sessions (which was $100 off the regular price because of a promotion) and the tattoo is very small. I've paid $60 per session at another place and had better results. I switched because I heard this place had a better machine but it literally did nothing to my tattoo. Huge waste of money.

I was unfortunate to have xanthelasma (white patches) on my eyelids. Every time I looked in the mirror all I could see is this glowing white. When I went out in the public people always did a double look at me, which lowered my self esteem, because of this I was very self conscious of my appearance. Dr Sangers gave me my self-esteem back by removing these awful white patches with very little discomfort and 100% removal. I am extremely happy with U cosmetics and I would highly recommend Dr. Sanger and U Cosmetics to finally love being you. I can finally, again, look in the mirror and smile.
