I met Dr. Metcalfe in the emergency room following an attack by a dog that resulted in the loss of most of my bottom lip and deep lacerations on both sides of my mouth. The attack was a bad thing, but Dr. Metcalfe was a blessing-- his handiwork is amazing. He did an exceptional job restoring my terribly disfigured mouth, initially in the emergency room and then with a lip graft. Having gained complete confidence in Dr. Metcalfe's remarkable skills, I recently opted for a face, brow, and neck lift, and I'm so glad I did. I was referred to Dr Grace Ma with Peachtree Plastic Surgery and it was the the best “gift” I’ve ever received. My breast reduction surgery was successful, even with a minor set back ( of my own doing-reaching above my head). I was feeling so good after my surgery, I reached over my head and caused some complications. The nurse saw me right away and called me throughout the day. The PA-Lindsay also saw me the next day and was knowledgeable and skilled to address my complication. And of course Dr. Ma knew exactly what happened and made me comfortable and confident my results would be the same after a little additional healing. The entire office staff is wonderful, effortlessly operates with a patient oriented atmosphere and always courteous. When you call the office, a personable and warm voice always greets you (not an automated system). I’m finally able to wear a sports bra to exercise and after many, many years I’m able to wear a bathing suit without feeling self conscious or uncomfortable. I have researched botched surgeries and I find that I am a candidate, so thousands of dollars later my breast look absolutely horrendous Years later, I am suffering from a breast reduction gone wrong. If you are considering using this office, please look somewhere else first. DO YOUR RESEARCH! I can show pictures of how awful my breast look and scarred I’ll be the rest of my life.

Each option was presented with details for pre, during and post procedure. During surgery and post op, I felt very well cared for. The care and the compassion of staff is there as well as the professionalism from doctor ma however the skill that was needed for my surgery to have the most favorable out com is not there. I was allowed to keep in a chest expander for very long time period although my nipple was preserved in the original surgery doctor ma and her staff refused to address keeping my chest expander inflated properly therefore my nipple contracted and there was no mention of saving it preserving it or fixing it. So I am still left with an altered body image That could have been so much better should she have referred me to someone who is more skilled . The minimally invasive surgery that she ended up doing could have been done very early on and kept my nipple from contracting. However she was so concerned about reimbursement For the type of surgery That would have been The most invasive and the most cosmetically effective that and money for her. The implant is hard, cold and has no natural hang to it or fall to it. These are the things that you look for as you want to find a skilled plastic surgeon to do breast surgery. I hope this is helpful to someone out there. Also my scar or incisions for the normal breast are terrible and much longer and extensive than necessary.

I found Dr. Ma and her staff to be extremely caring and compassionate. I had stage 1A breast cancer. Because of the location of the cancer and the small size of my breast, a total mastectomy was really my only option to have a breast that was not disfigured. I initially tried implants but they were not comfortable to me. I asked Dr. Ma about DIEP flap and she actually declined because she did not think i had enough fat to have a safe surgery. I found this to be VERY ethical and based on her desire to provide me with the best care possible. Her only concern was what was in my best interest. I then went on a peanut butter diet and returned 8 months later as a good candidate. She performed perfect work, walked me through the entire healing process, and took great care of me. The entire team is amazing. I've recommended her to a close friend I love dearly, something I would never do if i didn't trust her completely.

This post is 3 yrs after my sugery, Dr. Ma's work still looks amazing. She was always ready to answer questions, allowed calls for post care, etc. Use her, you will not regret it! Tip: Ladies, it is of the utmost importance that you do not undergo any type of breast reconstruction unless you have someone in your life that truly supports you and can help you in a loving, caring and positive way. If you do not have the right support system it can affect your healing. And, from experience please wait until you have the love and support you require for something so life changing. I am pleased with the results of my Surgical Tattoo Removal and my Ear Lobe Reconstruction surgery by Dr. Boehm at Peachtree Plastic Surgery. I would recommend these procedures for fixing bad ears from gauges or if you have a tattoo that needs removed quickly and are ok with slight scarring. Dr. Boehm was lovely and kind; Very knowledgeable as well. Was able to answer any and all questions I had Pre-OP and helped with after care. Would recommend.

If you are looking for a compassionate, understanding Dr. with great bedside manner, Dr. Ma is NOT the one for you. If you don't care about that and are fine with flippant, dismissive and petty, go for it. She is skilled but will be quick to put the blame on the patient should anything not be to her liking (although she makes her office assistant do her dirty work). There are others out there just as skilled. Please do your research!

I cannot say enough good things about Peachtree Plastic Surgery! Dr. Webb has been my plastic surgeon since September 2016, when I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction after a breast cancer diagnosis. I went back in December 2017 for a DIEP procedure to complete my reconstruction. I could not be happier with the results! My new breasts look very natural (with some scarring, of course), and because they are made from my own tissue from my lower abdomen, they feel very natural as well (plus I kind of got a tummy tuck as an additional reward). I would recommend this procedure and these doctors to anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr. Webb and Dr. Ma are extraordinarily professional and talented doctors. They worked with me to ensure I achieved the best results possible and I am so grateful!

I decided to undergo a prophylactic double mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction after testing BRCA1 positive last year. Dr. Ma's medical knowledge and surgical skill level gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with my decision, and I can't tell you how I happy I am with the results! She did an incredible job with the reconstruction and she and her staff were attentive, responsive, warm, and compassionate throughout the entire process, from my first appointment to my last followup. I had interviewed several doctors,but Dr Ma was the only one who really listened and understood my complaints. She was very upfront and honest in what her plan was to allievate the pain and I knew I found the right doctor. She and her staff are warm and comassionate which was important.
