Dr. Kirby presents herself as a very knowledgeable surgeon. She takes her job as a surgeon very seriously as she knows that her work is going to change your life. What I found incredibly disappointing is she does not see you as a patient but as a case. She does not give you the opportunity to voice your own opinion when the one she has is the only one that matters. You may be a great surgeon but you are not in my opinion a great doctor. Keep your decisive edge in the Operating Room. Learn to see each patient as individuals and listen to them. You will end up helping more than just a few that fall into your cookie cutter template of patients you are comfortable seeing.

So if you're waiting to see Dr. Kirby and others are going before you they are most likely having a different service that Dr. Kirby does not need to be present for. I came in a different times for checks that Dr Kirby was not involved in.

I had to pay $100 before they would even make an appointment. I kept the appointment and then was told medicare would not pay to have my leaking silicone implants removed and I would have to pay $5000 up front. They would then file on medicare for me but for me not to expect to get more than $500 back. Well, I had them removed by a different great doctor and medicare paid and my supplemental insurance paid the deductible. I paid nothing. Not even for an office visit. I liked Dr. Kirby but not happy that she was not willing to work to get medicare to pay.

I made an appointment for a consultation with this doctor. When I made it is was told I would get my $50 back if I chose not to do the surgery. 2 different people told me this. I decided now is not the time for the surgery so I called to let them know. Now all of a sudden they won't give my money back. They lied to me on purpose just to get me in the door. That's very sad. When I went to the appointment is showed up on time and they kept me waiting in the waiting room for an hour. People that came in after me went back sooner than I did. I should of left right then. Horrible experience. I would suggest going somewhere else unless you like being lied to and waiting for long periods of time.

I first saw Dr. Kirby about 2 1/2 years ago. I have lost a considerable amount of weight and wanted to explore options for tummy tuck for a lot of loose skin and breast reduction. This was my first time consulting a cosmetic/plastic surgeon, so I was nervous and had tons of questions. Dr. Kirby put me at such ease with her "bedside manner" and her personality that shows how much she genuinely cares for her patients. I was so pleased with the procedures Dr. Kirby performed back then, that I went to her again last month for additional consultation and advice. I again put my hands (and body) in Dr. Kirby and had a medial thighplasty, brachioplasty and liposuction to get rid of all the loose skin from my weight. I cannot say enough about her staff as well. Raeann, Angela, and the entire staff work tirelessly to make sure their patients are well-cared for, comfortable, and confident in their choice for cosmetic surgery. I had some problems getting my stamina back after my recent procedures, and Angela was right there by my side the entire time. She and Raeann called me daily for that first week to check on me and make sure I was getting my strength back and focusing on my nutrition. My sister-in-law came with me to my surgery and for several post-op appointments, and she couldn't say enough about how impressed she was with the professional and personal approach of Dr. Kirby and her staff. From her relaxing and comfortable office and waiting area, to the amazingly caring and compassion, I would most definitely recommend Dr. Kirby. Dr Kirby reviewed my personal goals..to look as rested and "young" as I felt at 64. My life is full steam ahead and I have no restrictions...I looked "tired". I desired a tummy tuck and a face lift with a brow lift and blephoroplasty; the surgery was performed at Harris and I had an overnight stay...very highly recommended! and I went home with full instructions and a corset with strict instructions about wearing it. Medications were fine and I progressed right on time to go back to work in 6 weeks...light duty for lifting. My care was exactly as predicted and I had no problems at all. My tummy tuck caused a little restriction on eating as much as I had been used to eating...a great side effect which allowed bit of weight loss. I am now able to eat normally but still have no desire to overdo it! I am extremely thrilled with my results, my tummy is just as tight as before my hysterectomy, and my neck and face are relaxed and youthful...happy me! Thank you so much Dr. Kirby...what a great gift to active women like me, and my husband is as happy as I am.

First let me start by saying that I live nowhere near Dr. Kirby's office. In fact there is a plastic surgeon around almost every corner in my city. However, after my first visit I knew I would continue making the trip - Dr. Kirby and her incredible staff are well worth it! After my son asked me why I kept making a "mad face" I knew it was time to do something about those pesky scowl lines. So my friends and I took a trip out for Botox and each of us were so excited and pleased with the results.
