I Absolutely love Dr. Nyame! He is so precise with his surgery & obviously an incredibly talented surgeon. I had a squamous skin cancer on the very visible tip of my nose, no doubt from many years of weekend boating & sun worshiping. My regular dermatologist talked me out of having a biopsy due to the location. She was afraid of leaving me with a hole in my nose. Unfortunately she told me not to worry about it and did not do the biopsy. For a year and a half, the red spot on my nose continued to remain there, which concerned me greatly. When I visited Charlotte Plastic Surgery with my neighbor for her skin cancer, I met Dr. Nyame & witnessed first hand his surgical skill watching him do surgery & sew up my friend. I saw it in the operating room 3 times & was blown away at how precise and talented he was. I decided to discuss the red spot on my nose with him and he agreed to do a biopsy. Thankfully. It was the right decision since it proved to be Squamous skin cancer. He called me himself to tell me the cancer news, and made room on his operating schedule for surgery the very next day. I got a call yesterday from Dr. Nyame to say he got all of the cancer! Such good news. I will see him again in 3 months to see how my nose has healed. I appreciate his talent, his personal attention, and his wonderful positive & happy personality. I am so thankful to have found him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nyame.

It’s been less than 5 hours since I woke up but I had to write a review because I’m very emotional lol. I’ve been waiting seven years for this surgery (rhinoplasty) and have been putting away every penny along the way. To say I’ve been dreaming about it would be an understatement. I’ve imagined it a million times and had butterflies in my stomach but even with all the happiness I was very nervous. What I hadn’t expected was to be so incredibly taken care of. August 12th - I wanted to provide an update to my original review. Although I had a poor experience with customer service, Dr. Nyame took it upon himself to personally reach out to me to apologize for the experience I had and to explain why that may have happened. I found him to be honest, kind and thoughtful. That goes a long way. I greatly appreciate his followup. I'm impressed! The office has extremely poor communication or lack thereof. I called for an appointment with Dr. Nyame. I was sent to his coordinator, Isha, and got her voicemail - this was on three separate occasions. I have called three different times, left three separate voicemails and have not received a response back not even once. I am not sure what the office's challenges are but it really looks bad not return inquiries of potential patients...not to mention losing out on business. I thought about trying once more but concluded that I had already had a negative experience so it would be best for me to move on. I am very disappointed and consider the office unorganized with poor customer service. I will take my business elsewhere.

Not the place to go for injectables. They charge by the area, which if fine. I had my forehead done for 550$ and had to come back because I still had a lot of movement in the furrow between my brows. When I called to tell them I needed to come back the lady who answered the phone said” Well you’ve already had 35 units, and you need more”?. Wait a minute. I paid 550$ for 35 units of Botox? That’s a rip off. Then when I came back they put in 10 more units, which still didn’t do the trick, and tried to charge me another 100+ dollars. I repeatedly told the lady who did my Botox that my brow muscles are strong and always take extra to get the desired effect, but she wouldn’t listen. Very disappointed in the experience and that I wasted my money.

Dr. Theo Nyame is truly the best!! I am little over one month out from my breast augmentation and I’m in love with my results. He gave me a new confidence. I knew after my initial consultation with him that he was the surgeon I would choose. He has great bedside manners. He took the time to get to know me and asked question’s to know exactly what I was looking for. He even took the time to speak to my mother who accompanied me to my appointments and listened to her concerns and what she thought. He truly knows how to make you feel important. Dr. Nayame is my surgeon for my breast lift. (Also booking a mommy makeover for my mother, sister, and Aunt with him) I will update after the procedure but I have the utmost confidence in him and his work as I have been to consults in Florida, Texas, and California over the past FIVE years. I was most comfortable with him and I felt he was the best for me. do your research on what you want an ask who may be the best fit for you, don’t be afraid to express your personality and the type of person you WANT to be working on your body.

Went there upon a friends recommendation. Very unpleasant experience with non effective treatment for hyperpigmentation. Talked to office manager ( had to call 4 times to even get a a call back), also unpleasant conversation . Nurses and facialists there ‘sell’ packages of treatments based upon false , misleading information and they don’t stand behind their products. Going back to previous office at Waverly. Not as close or convenient but more transparency about treatment, better educated staff and better customer service. Maybe surgeons are good there but the skin care department certainly isn’t recommended.

I worked with Dr. Scheuer & His Nurse Assistance Ashley and Oh My God they are AMAZING! I absolutely love Ashley! Both of them make you feel comfortable and answer any question you possible can think of and even ones you don't think of. They show you lots of examples of pre/post surgery photos. *I had breast augmentation surgery* I had never had surgery before & I was nervous but they all rest assured me and made it a super easy process. I am SUPER happy with my results I'm still only 10days out on my surgery and got about 80 more days of healing to go but I feel like a new woman. The first few days of recovery were hard for me and I was uncomfortable & I would not have been able to do it without My boyfriend with me. so make sure you have someone who can stay with you for at least 48 hours, but Dr. Scheuer called and their office called the night after surgery make sure I was okay. if you do decide to get any breast augmentation done I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scheuer. Him and Ashley really listen to you & no question is a dumb one and they DO NOT pressure you to make decision right away either, which is great I've heard horror stories of plastic surgery places that are just money hungry this place is definitely NOT one of them! If your considering any type plastic surgery go by here first for a free consult! you'll get the best experience you can think of!

Wow, where do I begin? Choosing Dr. Nyame as my plastic surgeon was hands down one of the best decisions I could have ever made. From my first consult to my most recent post surgery appointment, he has made me feel like I've known him my whole life. Dr Theodore Nyame is one of the most wonderful surgeons and people I have had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment I had my first appointment, I knew I would be in good hands with him. My 4 year old son had an accident and had a really bad lip injury while playing at a kids gym that required immediate attention & surgery. We took him to the nearest emergency room, which happened to be in Matthews. It was such a complex lip injury that required 'lip reconstruction', that the doctors suggested a plastic surgeon, but unfortunately, there were none at the hospital at that time. This situation was unfolding so quickly and you don't really have time to research who "good" plastic surgeons are, which was nerve-racking, when you kind of have to make a 'game time decision." Thankfully we lucked out because Dr. Jack Scheuer from Charlotte Plastic Surgery was available. There were several things that Dr. Scheuer did to bring confidence and calm to a scary situation. First, he went out of his way and drove from uptown Charlotte to Matthews to perform the surgery. There is something about kind acts like that, that often go unsung, so I wanted to call that out. Secondly, it was clear he knew what he was doing and had worked with many types of similar, yet complex injuries like this. When he explained the injury, how the lip would be reconstructed and that he was going to take great care in ensuring that the line of the lip would be aligned post-surgery, I remember feeling like that was the turning point; going from a really difficult situation to feeling like "everything is going to be okay." It was a relief. Lastly, he told me that he was one of the team doctors for the Charlotte Checkers. This may sound funny, but that also gave me great comfort since I used to play hockey and know hockey players get bad cuts all the time. Knowing that, there was no other doctor I would have wanted for my son in that situation. (After the surgery, he had to leave for the Checkers, game...) Dr. Scheuer performed the surgery and all went well. Even after the surgery, one of the nurses told me that she had never worked with Dr. Scheuer before, but that we should feel really good because he did a comprehensive job and apparently re-stitched my son several times to ensure the best outcome. She made it seem like that was not the norm. Most importantly, my son's lip looks fantastic, is healing well and will not likely require additional follow up procedures. While I hope nobody has to go through a similar type of situation like this, if you do end up with Dr. Scheuer, rest assured, you are in great hands.

This was a second experience with CPS and first with Dr. Nyame who recently performed my abdominoplasty and liposuction. In short, the experience and results were phenomenal. The entire team from Aisha, patient coordinator, to the nurses, and nurse anesthetist were truly exceptional. This is quite a long review, but please read! If you decide to trust Dr. Nyame and his staff at Charlotte Plastic Surgery with your procedure, you'll likely understand why it can be difficult to write a short review; the experience you'll have will be life-changing. I am one month post-op and in absolute awe of the results of my reduction! If you are even slightly considering a procedure, do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Dr. Nyame. I am 29 years old and wish my path would've crossed with Dr. Nyame years ago, but I am so thankful that everything aligned when it did. After my first consultation (first ever for a procedure like this), I had absolutely no doubt that I was going to move forward with Dr. Nyame and Charlotte Plastic Surgery, to the point that I cancelled all other consultations. I brought my friend with me for support and she also plans to move forward with CPS and Dr. Nyame (in the future) based on the consultation that I had with him- he's unbelievable. In addition, the entire team is incredibly helpful and worked patiently with me through pre-surgery questions, natural worries and "should I/shouldn't I's?" Each nurse was so supportive during every appointment and also helped to answer any questions I had after the doctor left the room. The procedure and goals/expectations were very clearly reviewed in my pre-op appointment and the calming presence of Dr. Nyame and his nursing team truly took the overall worry out of the surgery for me. On paper, I had some risks due to a blood clotting issue and I never once questioned anything that Dr. Nyame shared with me or even felt at risk, honestly. The precautions he took during the procedure and post-op guidance were incredible - you can truly feel that he cares for you & your overall health and well-being as you take this journey with him. On the morning of the procedure, the staff welcomed me with smiles, a MUCH needed hug once the nervous tears started to flow, and positive words while prepping. Each post-op appointment has been an equally wonderful experience mixed with guidance and support from the doctor and the nurses. It's honestly amazing how quickly your body can bounce back from things, but there is no question that the skillful techniques that Dr. Nyame used during my procedure are a main factor in that. Dr. Nyame's bedside manner & overall disposition, articulation of goals/expectation, skills, and attention to detail are all impeccable. I cannot recommend or suggest that you call for a consultation enough!

He was very personable but the procedure was very expensive and After consultation for profound treatment I decided that was the best option. I had the procedure for my arms and not only did it burn but my arms blew up like Popeyes arms. And then when they profound my face it grew and burned for days. I spent a tremendous amount of money and have has zero results. This treatment is not worth the 10000 dollars and no results and uncomfortable burning and discomfort. Do not go here and get that treatment. They sell you on a concept that may or may not work and continue to say well it takes a year to show up where collagen works - mine has been 9 months and no results actually it made my arms and face look worse. So disappointed. And they won’t call me back.

If you’re scared like me and looking for someone to administer injectables, such as filler and Botox she is definitely the person for you. She knows exactly how much you will need, but will let you decide and take baby steps and go back and forth 91827625124xs about it !!! I finally listened to her and decided to just trust her judgment and it was exactly the amount I needed all along for my personal wants. I have had lip filler with her. Again super scared, ahhh!!! On 8/7/2020 I had lower blepharoplasty surgery. I know the most common emotion before surgery is to be anxious, but I honestly wasn’t. I had the best experience with Dr Nyame and the whole Charlotte Plastic Surgery team for my breast lift and augmentation. As a young women in my late 20s I was unhappy with my saggy breasts. At my consultation, Dr Nyame made me feel completely comfortable by getting to know me personally. He explained what the surgery would do and answered any questions I had. From beginning to end, my expectations were continually exceeded. I had been considering having a breast lift and reduction for years, but having never had surgery before, I was apprehensive. I actually went into my initial consultation expecting to leave with my mind made up not to go through with it. I was wrong. I felt at ease within minutes of meeting Dr. Watterson and his nurse, and I called within 24 hours to schedule my procedure. Dr. Theo Nyame is the best surgeon in all of Charlotte. I had recently moved to Charlotte and was looking for a good surgeon for a possible “Mommy Makeover”. My first thought was to google best surgeons in Charlotte, so there it was Charlotte Plastic Surgery. I immediately went to the website and read their reviews (which were awesome) but then also read outside reviews; Yelp& Google all gave the same information (awesome reviews) The majority of the reviews all said one thing about Dr. Theo Nyame "He is a Perfectionist". I met with Dr Finical after interviewing multiple surgeons for a tummy tuck, I liked him right away!! Others seemed to be in a rush to get me in and out, but Dr. Finical was very patient and listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions ( and I had ALOT) he even told me that some of the things I was thinking about doing were not necessary (to know that he would not do ANY procedure I was thinking about doing made me trust him, no other Dr I consulted with did that) I even booked 2 appointments with him before the procedure just to go over everything and ask more questions and he was more than happy to meet with me. The day of the surgery I was nervous like any other person I assume would be.. the nurses are AWESOME!! they got me right in, made me feel very comfortable and at ease.. before I knew it I was on the operating table, the nurse that gave me my "cocktail" as he called it was super nice as well and the next thing I knew I was waking up.. I don't remember much of the ride home and I had wonderful support from my husband and daughter (the nurses made sure they were well informed about all the post op care and medication) 3 days after I went for my 1st check up, I was very sore and hunched over which is to be expected but they got me in and out, checked my incision and gave me instructions on after care with the binder and shower and scar gel, ect... Any questions I had during my recovery I would call and either have an answer right then or they would call me back very quickly!! I had my 3 month check up yesterday where I got to see my before pics... HAPPY TEARS!!! it has been an up and down journey and I am still healing, but the results are AMAZING!!! I am so glad I chose Dr Finical and the team at Charlotte Plastic Surgery I absolutely adore them!!!!

Called this office for a consultation on buccal pad removal. $5500 buccal pad removal, they are out of their minds in greed! This office only does it under general anesthesia. I bet this has to do with this fee going directly to the office. Their doctors only do it under general with zero consideration to the fact that they are putting this unnecessary cost on the patient. They drive up the cost and put the cost on the patient even though it’s completely fine to do this under local. Zero consideration to patients. Update: I am not looking for a favor, I’m looking for practices to deal ethically with people local to the area. No wonder people are putting themselves in unsafe situations. They would like to improve themselves and feel better. And here the practice feels charging you unnecessarily because they have free time in their surgical rooms is the business model you deserve! Choose wisely! I use an alias for reviews! So I felt really set up when they called me from a blocked number! One of the doctors from this office assumed I was the one who left the review and decided to called me under a BLOCKED number. Apparently it’s okay to block their number and freely use mine. The doctor says he’s calling to help me but I’m no longer seeking their services, asks me a bunch of information about myself and proceeds to blow the risks of the procedure out of proportion, likely to justify the use of general and it being for the safety of the patient hence putting the cost on the patient?! They use general because the operating rooms are in their office so when it’s free from procedures that actually require general they use up the free time to do buccal pad removals even though it is not necessary. They think you have disposal income so they want to take as much of it from you as they can, they are entitled. Never mind that you feel uncomfortable with your appearance and want to improve yourself and maybe you save up and then you do it! Yep, they are entitled to rob you blind with unnecessary expenses! Many board certified, reputable doctors perform this procedure and do so under local because they don’t use a machete, they use a scalpel and make very very small incisions. They don’t cut through your cheek to hit a blood vessels or run the blade along your jaw to hit the nerve. But somehow this man is talking about blood vessels and nerves that are far away from the incision site. The way this was done is highly inappropriate. HIPPA needs to give you guys a review! You are way too comfortable violating people!

Very disappointing experience with Allison Hogge - AKA Allie. She seems extremely lack in knowledge of administrating injections. She was moving rapidly without a strategic placement of the injections), she literally injected me in the same place twice, which was very disconcerting. When I told her that she “jabbed”me in the same “hole“ twice, instead of admitting her error she chose to be defensive, defiant and rude. It gets worse. After allowing the injections time to take effect, I noticed that my eyebrows and eye area are off-kilter. My overall structure changed in an unflattering way (the idea is to change in a more flattering way not the opposite). I am extremely disappointing. Looking forward for the effects to wear off so I can go back to my natural state or to my previous injector. To be fair, I spoke to the administrator regarding my concerns. She was polite, courteous and she listened.

10/10⭐ Dr. Nyame and his team are truly AMAZING! Nothing but 100% professionalism from start (consultation) to finish (procedure and continued post op care). Dr. Nyame is extremely personable, caring and very honest with what it takes to achieve (in my case EXCEED)your desired results. The pre-, intra-, and post- OP care exceeded my expectations. There were (initial) daily follow-up phone calls (incl. from out-of-state, over the weekend). Talk about ABOVE and Beyond! This is Service in EXCELLENCE!!! I am exactly 3weeks 4days Post-Op (abdominalplasty w/ lipo). I am well pleased with my current progress and can NOT wait to see the FINAL results! I've experienced ZERO COMPLICATIONS, with minimal pain and swelling. I didn't even finish half of the Narcs provided). I have encountered some discomfort but nothing of extreme PAIN, that IB or extra strength tylenol can't handle. Week 2 was most frustrating for me (A type personality & I have things to do. ????). At this point, I (again) am 3wks/4days postOp and have resumed normal ADL (except of course strenuous exercises & heavy lifting). My next follow up appt is Feb 2020! After 10years of research, indecisiveness (postponment)--- EVERY thing happens EXACTLY when it's supposed to! Blessed to have FINALLY taken the leap... and entrusted my care to Dr. Theo Nyame!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I will recommend Dr. Nyame and his team over and over AGAIN! Should I need to any future "nips, tucks, tweaks, or enhancements ," he will forever (yes, EVER) be my go to.
