Wow! Where to start.. From the time you walk in, you are welcomed and treated with such kindness. The staff is amazing! Very down to earth ..In my opinion you need to be comfortable and feel like you can ask any and all questions .. after all, it is about you right? I LOVE Dr Chan! I went in having done my homework.. I consulted James Chan at Reviance and another well-known surgeon before deciding where to have my lower face and neck lift performed. Here is what I especially liked about James Chan and his staff: 1. They were unfailingly courteous, competent, and responsive to all questions and concerns. Remarkably, they were quite willing to speak with me as well as with my friend (in Atlanta!) who was helping me make the decision about surgeon, procedure, etc. Even he was impressed by their responsiveness and competence- and he is seldom satisfied with customer experiences. 2. They worked around my schedule and made every effort to fit me in to accommodate other commitments I had. 3. The surgical experience was top-notch: great staff, no pain during the procedure and little pain afterward, and outstanding results! This area is difficult to treat and I felt that great care was taken during my consult and appointment. I saw Dr. Chan in November 2019 for 4 procedures on the same day. I am a 50 year old woman who had liposuction on my neck/chin plus ultherapy to help lift and tighten my sagging skin after the liposuction. I also did the IPL laser treatment to help with my brown spots and broken capillaries. Lastly, I had the CO2 laser treatment to remove a large, brown flat mole from my temple. Full results for the liposuction and ultherapy procedures are definitely somewhat noticeable immediately but total results are 6 months to a year. The best part is that the liposuction is PERMANENT (unless you gain weight)! I have already received compliments from people who noticed something more youthful about me but didn't know what I had done. THAT'S the sign of superior results!! I am SO excited to see the full results in time! Besides my complete enthusiasm for the procedures, the staff are amazing, friendly, professional and accommodating! Dr. Chan is one of the ABSOLUTE BEST doctors I have ever seen! His bedside manner is ABOVE AND BEYOND! He is so kind, patient, caring, empathetic, and he is EXCEPTIONAL at what he does. My husband and I have also seen him for ENT issues (Mt Scott ENT) and for the first time since he was a teenager, my husband can breathe out of his nose again! I had a second opinion by dr Jameson. He had me lay flat on my back. When I did my sagging jowls disappeared. When I talked to Dr Chan he recommended I have fillers for $5000 more money. I’m disappointed that my sagging jowls were not corrected with my first surgery. Apparently I did not ask enough questions or state my expectations during the first appointment. Dr Chan said there would still b fine lines around my lips which I expected but not sagging jowls to the point of needing $5000 more in injections after already spending $10000. In my opinion $10000 should have covered the entire cost of one third of my face lift. The lower third of my face. I spent $10000 to get my eyes done. I had no complains and my eye plastic surgery completely took care of my drooping eyes without any more treatments. And that was ten years ago and the eye surgery is still holding up. So I’m disappointed in the outcome of my lower face surgery. I still think $10000 should have covered the entire cost and just two thirds of the cost to complete the job.

Would not recommend for eye-lid surgery! If you need a blepharoplasty (eye-lid surgery), I would go to an oculoplastics specialist and not Dr. Chan. He is not specialized in eye-lid surgery, and is not able to help you if any complications arise. Dr. Chan gave me some botox injections for a forehead muscle tic. This resulted in some ptosis (eyelid drooping). Dr. Chan then suggested doing a blepharoplasty to correct that drooping. After he did the blepharoplasty, I had significant blurred vision that Dr. Chan was not able to diagnose or treat, requiring me to be seen by an ophthalmologist and subsequently by an oculoplastic specialist. I also ended up with a persistent frowning appearance that I am now getting regular shots of botox for. Dr. Chan has a good bedside manner. His background, however, is in ENT and not ophthalmology. If you need eye-lid surgery, I would not recommend going to him.

Dr. Chan rocks!!! If you want results, seek him out. My road to air has been long (three surgeries in three years); and I have Dr. Chan to thank for getting me here. Growing up, I never really paid too much attention to my breathing. Into my 20's and 30' s, it started weighing on me (no pun intended). By the time I reached 40, I had enough of my nose collapsing on inhalation; so I decided to do something real about it beyond breathing strips. And after two failed closed-nose procedures by others to address these issues (first in late 2010 and then early 2012), finding Dr. Chan who performed an open-nose procedure in March 2013 has been a Godsend (I can finally breathe like a normal person!!!). Surgery 1 included deviated septum repair, medial turbinate reduction and the installation of alar battens to address the nasal valve collapse. About six months into recovery, the left side passageway partially collapsed leaving me unable to capture enough air on inhalation. Any surgical option was a year out from the date of the original surgery. When scheduling the one-year follow up, I discovered Surgeon 1 had relocated his practice to another state; and I was left to consult with Surgeon 2. Folks, if you have any reservations about a doctor when consulting with him/her, seek another doctor. I regret I didn't do this. But then maybe I'd never met Dr. Chan and got the ultimate results I now have achieved. Surgery 2 included removal of the alar battens and the installation of a butterfly graft (a so-called permanent breathing strip) using harvested cartilage from my ear. Almost instantly out of recovery, there were issues: A severe lack of air coming into my nose and the reemergence of nasal collapse on inhalation; my snoring had returned; and, most debilitating, my inability over the next 14 months to sleep for more than 1-2 hours at a time without waking up because of the sheer weight of the graft on my nasal passageways â this really wreaks havoc on your body and psyche. Aside from my horrible mood, I put on 35 pounds in that time changing nothing else. Basically, Surgery 2 wiped out any success of Surgery 1 and left me with more issues I had to begin with. Follow-up appointments with Surgeon 2 were less than reassuring; and I could tell I wasn't going to get anywhere staying on that road. In reconnecting with Surgeon 1, he recommended I consult with his colleague, Dr. Chan. Desperate by this time to get relief, I set up the consultation. I can fully appreciate any doctorâ s angst in being approached by a patient who's complaining about two failed surgeries and seeking out your help now; but Dr. Chan never showed any. He took me on as a patient and, in collaboration with my Surgeon 1, developed a work plan for addressing my issues. Surgery 3 was an open-nose procedure that included removal of the butterfly graft, repurposing of a portion of the butterfly as a spreader graft, left-side maxillary antrostomy to open up the sinus, the discovery and reshaping of a concaved left side alar cartilage and the installation of sutures to pick up the alars with suspension anchored into the bone just below each eye socket. I couldnâ t be more happy with the results I've achieved from Dr. Chan. My snoring is gone ; I can lie on my right side and gaze into her eyes without choking on my breath; and I am sleeping throughout the night again. Iâ ve already lost 10 pounds, too! Itâ s amazing what air and sleep will do for your body. On the subject of bleeding or pain, Surgeries 1 and 2 resulted in some bleeding over a day or so. There was no measurable bleeding with Surgery 3. On pain, either I have a larger threshold than I think I do, or there just isnâ t any, a true credit to Dr. Chan' s abilities. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chan to anyone who is either approaching their decision to find nasal relief or someone who has had a less than desired result and requires additional work to achieve their desired result. Dr. Chan is a true credit to his profession.

A facelift with Dr. Chan has changed my life. I am so happy I chose Dr. Chan. From my initial consultation I felt comfortable with him. I asked to speak with former patients and he gave me the names of several. I even met one in person. She looked great and very natural looking. One thing I am happiest about are the incisions. I was so scared to have surgery because I tend to scar. I knew this would be a risk but Dr. Chan did such an amazing job you cannot even see the incisions. Not even my hairdresser can find them.

I did procedures with Chan M.D. 5 years ago. It cost me about $9000. A year later, the skin sagged again. Despite what the doctor promised make a free correction he refused to do for free. His technique is that he simply cuts the skin and tightens it. While advanced surgeons worldwide engages the muscles for same price. Botox is the most expensive in town in this clinic, even with all sorts of discounts. For example in Cosmetiq medicine dr.Arwa Salti makes a wonderful procedure for $10/unit. So, I think dr.Chen is not enough qualified doctor.

Do not go to Dr. Chan for blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). It will bring you nothing but stress and regret. Dispite his vague claims to be a specialist in “everything related to facial rejuvenation” he, to put it plainly, is terrible at and unqualified to do eyelid surgery. My close friend went to him and left her with visibly uneven eyelids. Seeing my friend so miserable upset me so much that it drove me to write this review! Please stay away from this fraud.

From the initial consultation, to offering his own ideas and expertise, to actual treatment/procedures, I give him 5 stars across the board. Sure, he's not the cheapest priced in the field, but when it comes to your face, your skin, or your looks, do you REALLY want the cheapest? It simply comes down to: "you get what you pay for." Whatever they lack in fitting budget terms, they make up for in experience, quality, and most importantly, RESULTS. I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about him. If he offers something, and it's not the direction you wanted to go, it feels easy telling him, and some ideas he has for treatment are even better than what you had in mind. Main Summary: He's easy to voice concerns to, and always makes sure all questions are answered, and all tension is eased. His attention to detail is impeccable, as is his bedside manner. Dr. Chan is a miracle man. He definitely knows what he's doing, and I'll never stop singing his praises!

I had a facelift with Dr. Chan and would choose him again. He came highly recommended and deservedly so. He is straightforward, realistic and very kind. His work is amazing and his availability afterwards was truly a Godsend. I called, emailed and texted him and his staff and they were very responsive. I feel like I finally look as good as I feel. Elle immediately tried upselling me claiming that to see results in an IPL treatment I would need to be coming in for them monthly. I’ve had several done over the years at different places and have always seen positive results after one treatment. This leads me to believe that they turn the intensity way down on their machine for minimal results. She then refused to do the treatment after I told her that I had used a sunless tanning lotion on my face within the past 2 weeks which is apparently against their policy. (Of course something that was never mentioned over the phone). I spent my entire day, got a babysitter and drove 240 miles round trip for this appointment! I will definitely not be recommending them and will stick to the more reputable places I have gone in the past.

I too have had procedures by Dr Chan and they have turned out beautifully! I have been nothing but pleased with the results. Part of these procedures included injectable's and I have no lumps, but perfectly smoothed out skin. In fact, within the last 60 days I have been told that I appear to be aging in reverse - by people that have no idea that I went to see a plastic surgeon. (that is a HUGE compliment!) I was deeply concerned about marionatte lines around my mouth, that were pretty intense. The procedures that Dr. Chan recommended (and carried out) have all but erased the lines completely. Dr. Chan and his assistants have been incredibly friendly, curtious and helpful. I am still a very willing participant in any new refreshing facial treatment that they may have to offer and would recommend Dr. Chan to anybody interested in improving their facial appearance. My daughter had surgery with Dr. Chan and I could not be happier. He is a kind, patient, and skilled doctor. She broke her nose playing volleyball, and had it fixed several years ago but it was never the same. She couldn't breathe, and it was very crooked. Dr. Chan fixed it and now she breathes well and it looks great. As an update, my daughter injured her nose again, and we again saw Dr. Chan who helped her fix it. Can't say enough about how professional and talented he is.

I saw Dr. Chan for bags under my eyes. He talked to me about fillers and laser. I thought I needed surgery but he informed me otherwise. I started with the fillers and immediately noticed a difference. After that I got the laser-- not a bad experience. Face lift at 84. Dr. Chan not only has a terrific bedside manner about him and is also a very warm, friendly, caring and gracious person. Often, the more accomplished and prosperous a Dr. becomes, many can seem to also become arrogant and unfeeling, this is in no way Dr. Chan. My 84 year old mother had a full face lift, eye lift and laser resurfacing by Dr. Chan in 2018. We were concerned about the eye lift turning out even and did note the one negative review, but hoped it was a fluke, or maybe a person difficult to please. We prayed for Gods blessings on Dr. Chan's hands and definitely believe Dr. Chan was the answer to our prayers. He and his staff were all incredible from start to finish and my mother at 84 has had no regrets whatsoever. She did say any discomforts she felt during the approximate 2 weeks of healing, were more than worth it and would do it all over again. She continually receives compliments from her family, strangers and many longtime friends of how beautiful and incredible she looks. Yes we can definitely recommend Dr. Chan without hesitation.

I was recently treated with Botox and fillers by Dr. Kristi Slater. Her attention to her patients, her kindness, and her skill set are top-notch. She goes to great lengths to give an accurate and realistic assessment of the treatments that would enhance you – not ones that would make you look like you have had work done. The result of Botox and/or fillers would often leave my face with bruises that were almost impossible to conceal. After Dr. Slater’s visit, I did not have any bruising and minimal swelling. I recently had a temporal brow lift with Dr. Chan and am very happy. I am so pleased with the work that Dr. Chan did. He helped hide the incisions near my hairline so they are not very noticeable. I wear bangs anyway so they get covered. But what I liked most is that my brows are appropriately raised and not too high. I also do not have that angry look. I saw Dr. Chan for Asian eyelid surgery. I had a minimally noticeable crease that I could enhance with special eyelid tape. I wanted something permanent, but subtle. I found Dr. Chan on the internet, and after doing research, called to make an appointment. His online reviews were great, but from the moment I called, to the moment I met Dr. Chan, the experience far exceeded what I expected. My only concern initially was that I did not see a lot of photos of eyelids like mine. However, Dr. Chan showed me many more when I met with him. Apparently many people decline to share there photos online. The procedure was almost painless, and the recovery was a breeze. The results are amazing and I have no scars. Dr. Chan is a kind, and compassionate doctor. His artistic skills are extraordinary and he explains everything in a very no-nonsense way.
