sketchy place, wish I never went. Had Dr. James Newlon. Overall terrible experience. Had breathing problems, primarily from one side of my nose. The dr first prescribed me nasal sprays. I told him I was doubtful they would work because I suspect the structure of my nose was the problem. He said he agreed that they probably wouldn't work but that it was required for insurance purposes to at least try them.
After no luck with the sprays.
He ended up looking in my nose and saying I had a deviated septum. So we went ahead with a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. After the surgery my breathing was just as bad as ever. I didnt want to believe it at first that it was for nothing so I tried to convince myself it was better. I told the dr that my breathing was still poor and he said "welp... I can't fix allergies with surgery". I then asked how allergies would only affect one side of my nose, to which there wasn't a good answer. He said he could have given me a rhinoplasty, but "you wouldn't want that". He said my septum was now straight as an arrow. (I later checked with other ent's who said my septum was indeed still deviated). I said I still felt there was problems in the structure of my nose, he then took me under the scope again and said that he could see what I was saying but all he could do was attempt another surgery.
In conclusion. Had a surgery that left my nose worse off than before(now I just have scar tissue and my septum feels looser and leans to one side) and breathing just as bad as before. To the dr, this was probably just a joke to him, to me it was a serious cause of suffering in my life.
