Needed an emergency extraction on Sunday evening and Dr. Chan was the only dentist in all of Fort Mac that we could get a hold of. He did a fantastic job, very little pain, was professional, and did a thorough job. Cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I recently got my wisdom teeth extracted here. As someone with high anxeity towards any kind of dental work to begin with; the doctors and staff were so accomidating and ensured I was as comfortable and relaxed as I could be. I was walked through the process to ensure I was comfortable with everything. The process was quick and thorough. I felt I was taken great care of from the pre-op, to the procedure, right to the post op. Not only are the doctors great here, the front desk staff are amazing as well, espically ashley who went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. It was greatly apprecaited ! Highly recomend!

I will say it's the best dental experience, I have ever had. I hate needles, Dr Jackson gave me three or four needles to numb my gums and I didn't feel either.

Anyone looking for a dentist in Fort McMurray, I can not tell you enough how great this clinic is....Our whole family( family of 5) goes to this office and the service we get is outstanding....I am a have anxieties about going to the dentist and this is the first time in my life I have no issues at all with getting work done....Great with our kids as well....my kids love going there..There is even a huge bouncy castle for them. The service you receive is fabulous from the front desk, dental assistants and Dr Jackson ....They work with you and explain everything so its all easy to understand...Also its has cost us much less at this office than any other office we have gone too......I cannot recommend them enough!

I can recommend this dental office! The dentist and the staff are amazing - especially with children. There is usually not much of a waiting time when we have an appointment and everything is very new and modern. My boys (4-6years old) enjoy going there and are not scared at all. I am sure the bouncy castle in the waiting area, the kid's show they get to watch during treatment, and the prize they get to pick after every visit has something to do with them constantly asking me when we can go back to see the dentist ;-) My little guy had to get some work done on his teeth which I was very nervous about. They were amazing with him and he let them do it without any hesitation.

I had dental work done somewhere else (they said I needed a crown to cover an old filing) and was experiencing excruciating pain afterwards. I went back to the other place 3 times complaining of this pain and how I had to be on Advil day and night to get through. Each time I was told I was fine and it was my bite that needed to be filed. After the third time getting no relief from them, I listened to my friends and got a second opinion. I went to Stoney Creek Dental and the ladies at the front desk fit me in very quickly and were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jackson and the dental hygienist we're very helpful, explained what was going wrong, talked me through it and were gentle. They gave me the option to have a pulpectomy in order to relieve the pain quickly and come back for a root canal. During this procedure they were very thorough and gentle. The last procedure at the other place was so painful it gave me very high dentist anxiety. This procedure did not bother me at all and I felt at ease. The next morning when I woke up, I felt there was something wrong with my gums and called Stoney Creek right away. They fit me in immediately just to be safe and talked me through what was happening and how everything was fine. I was very pleased with my treatment and will be returning there to have the rest of the procedures finished.

The ladies in the front are exceptionally kind and friendly and the dentist and assistant were kind and gentle and genuine. Such a good experience here and I never thought I'd say that for a dentist. The ladies also called my benefit company and broke down my plan for me so I knew exactly what I was paying and how much I had to work with. The best dentist. I'm so happy I'm going back!

I like the fact that its open on weekends and that they take emergencies because Dr. Alan understands how a painful tooth can affect somebody's day which is what exactly happened to me. He took me in right away and fixed my toothache and made sure that I understood what happened and what procedures he was going to do. During the procedures, he was very gentle and i never had a tooth ache after the freezing was gone. Robin, the reception was very friendly and always with a smile. My favourite dental office I've ever been to! I had my two front teeth filled in at another dental office here in town that I chipped pretty bad. They told me my teeth were turning grey and suggested I do extensive work on them so I went to stoneycreek dental for a second opinion and I am so glad I did. Dr. Jackson assured me my teeth were perfectly healthy and did not need the unnecessary work the previous dentist was suggesting I do. I will not go anywhere else from now on! From fillings to having my wisdom teeth removed they have been incredible.

This Dentist has been extremely dishonest. They have overcharged me for dental services and have lied to me about not charging me when the "fillings" fell out!!! I'm still paying for it... in the thousands for a temporary job... my new dentist is still shocked. They are not honest and I recommend going somewhere else that will EXPLAIN or atleast TELL YOU what they will do, how much it will cost BEFORE going ahead with the treatment!!!!! Save your money and headache. They don't even live here. Just want the money????.

People with kids the bouncy castle is awesome. My kids love going to the denist! On other note for the people who hate the dentist....like my other half she loves this place. I can't say enough about these guys.

Wouldn't Recommend. I had full dental coverage via my work union, i was told i had to pay half of my crown regardless (600$), which i did. I then called my insurance provider in which they stated i have full 100% coverage and told me not to pay the dentist office. After waiting 2 months after they" mailed" my information to my provider in BC i was in fact correct that i was 100% covered for dental work in which they had to issue me a cheque to pay me back what i had paid. After fighting telling them they're wrong ( in which my coverage should be on file as i provided it) they insisted i didn't know what i was talking about. 2 months later i have been sent a cheque over something i knew i was correct about, after leaving the doctors office during my appointment i was told by the dentist i've used all my coverage for this year (3000$). I believed him but found it odd then contacted my provider of insurance once again. AGAIN they informed me that this dental office was wrong and called them to tell them this in which they were again proven wrong. i would NEVER recommend anyone to go here. The staff should have knowledge on how to properly see patients coverage. HIGHLY unprofessional, luckily i could get into a better dental facility in time before i lost 2200$ of FREE Dental care for this year.

I decided to try this clinic instead of waiting for my next trip home and I'm so glad I did! The office manager who took my impressions refused to use my name, and repeatedly called me dear, lady, and girl despite my requests for her to call me by my name. She expressed ageist sentiments and was very rude. I should have left when she did not take my complaints regarding the gross error in the scheduling of my appointment seriously. I have many more complaints about my experience here, including that the dental hygienist was blatantly watching the tv while scraping my teeth, causing her to pull hard on my gums repeatedly. The customer service here is horrible and I will not be returning.

Dr.Jane and his helper are both amazing with my kids, and the other dentist is equally great. Ive also never had a better teeth cleaning than here. Was visiting a friend from out of town and did some biking. Ended with a few scrapes and a VERY painful chipped tooth. Didn't know who to go to so my friend suggested his dentist, Dr. Chan. Their office was extremely accommodating and booked me on the same day. When I saw Dr. Chan he and his assistant were very friendly and sympathetic to my pain and made the procedure as pain free as possible. I went for my first visit at a dentist in Fort Mac with my family (only 3rd month in the region). The dentist was knowledgeable and the staff was great. Technologies is top notch which helps the patients clearly understand the doctors explanation. The dentist took pictures and xrays and used that material to explain the issues and what he wanted to work on which I thought was great. My 3 years old loved the bouncing castle and the dentist was very patient with him during examination. My little one kept biting the dentist tools. I can't compare with other clinics in Fort Mac because I didn't try any other ones, but all I can say they is that did not give me any reason to go elsewhere.
