Just had a final treatment with PicoSure on Tuesday with Kay. I am so amazed with the results. I had a lot of sun damage mixed with melasma and was a bit skeptical at first. After the first treatment I noticed there really was a difference. What I liked about Kay was her honest, realistic approach. I suppose with any treatment like this, every person responds differently and after researching PicoSure, I decided to give it a try. Really glad I did. Kay's explanations of sun damage vs. melasma were very much appreciated. Melasma, unfortunately, is a battle, but thankfully the PicoSure helped to lighten it enough that I'm not really that self-conscious anymore about it. Kay wasn't kidding when she said we were going to "walk back the clock". All smiles here!! Thank you, Kay, and everyone else at Dr. Shatkin's office!

I've been to the office for multiple appointments for tattoo removal. My esthetician, Kay, is fabulous! She is always very positive, excellent bedside manner, and very thorough. She makes the experience quick and as "painless" as possible. My only complaint, however, is for the front desk staff. I'm not sure of her name, but every time I arrive for my appointment, the front desk person has her back to the window, and is on facebook on her computer and very intently looking at her phone on other social media. Each time (including my very first visit) I have to make my presence known after waiting for quite some time. Each patient pays a decent amount of money, out of their pocket, to be there for these appointments and that level of disregard/lack of professionalism as a first impression of the office? Pretty unacceptable if you ask me.

I've tried botox other places and its never lasted as long as it does from here..they have tons of services that you can choose from according to what you want or need.. Last time I visited it was a little bit longer of a wait than usual..but always worth it.. For 5 star service..I'll wait as long as I have to.. In summary: best plastic surgeon's office around..I've referred tons of very satisfied friends and family.. Over the course of the past seven years I suffered back pain and was extremely self aware from sagging breasts. I was blessed with two children that both breastfeed. Because of this, it took its toll. In November of 2015 I made the decision to have a breast lift and reshaping/size of nipples. Dr. Shatkin and his team was outstanding... not only did the surgery turn out wonderful, but the pre/post appointments I was treated with respect and always felt like I mattered. Before I go deep into the review, I want to make one thing clear. If you are at all thinking about having any cosmetic procedure done, whether it’s plastic surgery or a facial, it is in your best interest to meet with the team at Aesthetic Associates Center. As the leading provider of all aesthetic treatments, your experience will be absolutely unparalleled. I had three treatments done at the office. Dr. Sam Shatkin treated my gynecomastia with surgery in October of 2018 and performed abdominal liposuction in March of 2019. I am also undergoing three rounds of microneedling treatments to treat facial scarring and discoloration. Before meeting Dr. Shatkin, I had consultations with five plastic surgeons across North America. While all were top, board-certified surgeons, none of them had the ethos that Dr. Shatkin and his office carries. He and his staff hold the top trait none of the others had – they actively and empathetically listened. When I met with Dr. Shatkin for the first time, I felt by his clarity and caring nature that this was the person I was going to give my complete trust to. During the course of our conversations, he never wavered from his authenticity. Dr. Shatkin is a true professional who knows himself and his industry. There is no façade as I found with many of the other doctors who treated plastic surgery as pretentiously elitist. Dr. Shatkin wants to get to know you and work hand-in-hand to find your best path, settling for nothing less. I had both surgical procedures done at St. Joe’s Hospital. He and his team coordinated the most comfortable and efficient experience from pre to post-op. Important to note, my results after both surgical procedures have been astounding. My confidence has always been fairly high, but many times it was masked by inner qualm. He is the most caring, sensitive, and empathetic doctor there is. He reminds me of what doctors were like years ago when they made house calls. To this day, All have to said I haven’t had any mayor pains only a minor discomfort , but never had I have Any bad pain , I still have more that half of the pain medicine the dr prescribed me because I was never on a really in pain. At 4 weeks my scar it’s healing nicely and I look so much better than I thought it will be . If you been thinking about this for a while, just do it . I called in his office to make an appointment for pre consultation about my symmastia. The lady on his office whom I talked to ask who was my previous surgeon. She talked to somebody and told me they are going to call my doctor. And didn’t hear from them. The next day, I received a call from Dr. Shatkin’s office that he cannot accept me. I felt discriminated. I am willing to be seen and be checked by a top surgeon here in Buffalo to ask for help and advice how I can fix my problem. But this is the treatment I got from him and from his office. I do not recommend this doctor specially to those who have pre existing conditions. There is nothing he can do. He didn’t even bother to give me time. Don’t waste your time.

Tellingly, his receptionist, Julianne, would not answer a basic, non-proprietary question about scar minimization for lipoma removal, after leaving me on hold for over 10 minutes. (What's with the phoney mystique?) I was then aggressively brushed off the phone before hearing the receiver slammed in my ear. Very professional. Contrast that with the total transparency of Dr. David Hansen on Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills, who gives exact, step-by-step details ON THE WEB for his non-scarring technique for lipoma removal. Dr. Shatkin and his staff might excite and impress the locals, but if you have had anything done out of town, it is obvious that these people are bush league.

A couple days ago I had lip fillers put in for the first time. I did not want to change the shape of my lips but I did want to add volume. From beginning to end the nurse answered all my questions. We decided together which filler to use and the pain was minimal. She used a numbing gel all over my mouth before doing the procedure. After using a quarter of the syringe she asked me to look in the mirror and decide if i wanted more on the top. She used a bit more and then did the bottom lip. After she was done i looked in the mirror and they looked so beautiful. I was so happy with the results. I went home with some swelling and after about 12 hours my lips were huge. It didnt go down for a full 24 hpurs but now my lips are beautiful!!! Im so happy i will definitely be going back when these fillers wear off! Thank you for my new full pout!!
