I went to NewDermaMed to get rid of my huge keloid scar on my cartilage from a piercing, with several treatments the scar went away with almost no visible marks on my ear now. Sold me products and facials on the side promising it will help with scar healing. What a scam! They took pics to show me when the program would be over , I never got to seem them. I live in Niagara and today I had an appointment, they never called me to cancel the appointment because of the covid nor did they send me a message where I communicate with you (instagram), I left the data, they did not call or leave a message, today I arrive at their offices and they tell me that there are no appointments, the lady who attended me at no time apologized for this, on the contrary I felt as if she would not care, then she tells me that virtual appointments can be made, when I request one virtual appointment and they told me that it could not be only in person, they contradict what you say with the excuse that on Monday in Toronto they gave an alert order for the covid, if I do not know they could communicate, because they did not write to me on Instagram that it was where do you request the appointment? Because now if there are virtual appointments and when I request it there weren't? Why is the customer service they have in their offices so lousy? After I put this message, there they communicated with me to excuse me and tell me that someone could tell me, only after my inconfirmness, because they did not do it at the time and now they tell me that if they called when I have no call and no Voicemail, do you think that if you had called me, I would drive an hour and a half and ask for permission from my work for nothing?

I have received IPL treatment due to my uneven skin. Especially some big sun damage spots on my face. It was incredible to see even after first treatment how my spot faded away. Now I am thinking to get IPL for my shoulders. I love the environment and workers as well.

I've been a long term client of Newdermamed. I love the way the staff treat their clients. They do care by providing post-treatment services such as calling you directly if how your last treatment is going and give you advise on what to do. Other skin care centres doesn't bother to ask their clients on how the treatment went but Newdermamed is really customer-oriented specially Chrystabelle. I have been having treatments with Chrystabelle and the results have been remarkable. I had 2 sessions on a salicylic peel which really helped me a lot on controlling my acne and removing dead skin cells making my complexion brighter. I will be having the 3rd one really soon. I have also done laser genesis and I love the way it produces new collagen formation which help reduce my pores significantly and make my face more elastic. On top of the treatments I always get their product Youth Eye Complex. This is the best eye treatment cream that I have ever tried so far and I don't look for another one. It really help reduce my wrinkles and adds volume on the under eye and mostly it reduced my dark circles significantly. I also recently had a tear trough filler with Catherine and the result is remarkable! Great job newdermamed!

I love this clinic. They never try to over sell me, and they make sure I know the costs of whatever procedures we do as we discuss them. Very conservative with the filler, my lips look wow! but natural. Also, the botox application is great, I still have full expression in my face, but less harsh and without the wrinkles. I even get botox in the large jaw muscles to stop teeth grinding (and the ensuing headaches). I always come back here and I recommend it to everyone.

I am still in the process of completing my laser hair removal treatment, but have so far had a wonderful experience here. I think it’s rare to give a five-star review to a place that literally burns the hair out of your skin every time you go in. However, I’ve really enjoyed my appointments at NewDermaMed and think they deserve it. Laser hair removal is by no means painless, but the equipment they have been using on me reduces the pain incredibly, and sometimes hides it all together. I only notice a small pinching/burning sensation in some areas and otherwise eventually barely notice the laser. Today when I went in I almost fell asleep in the chair! The front desk staff are lovely human beings and are so friendly and accommodating. They are always ready to assist when you come in or call and are just the sweetest people, which is lovely. I see Sydney and she is seriously the sweetest angel. She tells you what’s going on so you’re not in the dark, talks you through the painful parts, and makes laser hair removal a pleasant and professional experience. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is nervous or still considering whether or not to go through with the treatment. I have personally had a great experience here and can’t wait to see the results!

Worst waste of money, NO RESULTS at all, seems like a fraud to me I spent a total of 1800 CAD for the full package of 1. Laser Hair Removal underarms 2. Laser Acne Treatment in combination with Chemical Peel Each for the recommended amount of repetitions (e.g. 3 full cycles of laser and 3 full cycles of chemical peel, etc.) My skin has not improved in the slightest, not even 0.5%, nothing. My underarms have the exact same hair growth now than they did before. There were a couple of weeks inbetween the laser hair removal sessions where the hair growth had slowed down, but now about 5 months after the last treatment, everything is back to square one. I would have been better off literally throwing that money out the window because I would be exactly where I am now but have saved myself the effort of going there so many times and suffering through the pain of the laser and peels. Very disappointing, I would not recommend this to anyone.

NewDermaMed is honestly the best investment you can make! I used to have terrible issues with ingrown hairs that caused ingestion and scarring. In my initial consultation, they weren’t pushy and were realistic about how many sessions it would be, they were hopeful that the laser would also reduce my scarring and it did! All of the nurses are super professional and kind, nothing ever feels awkward or uncomfortable and despite it being a little painful, it’s not an appointment you’ll ever dread. I can’t believe what a difference it made in almost entirely removing the hair, any little amount left is now sparse, thin and hardly noticeable at all. You can even request to book for a certain nurse if you build a relationship and a certain level of comfort, I always see Olga because she’s precise, quick and gentle, but I’ve never had a nurse rush through a job or be rough. I had consultations at a few other clinics like Bellair and I found them to be very pushy, like calling nonstop to see if you’re going to purchase a package. It can be a sizeable investment but it’s totally worth it and depending on the area you’re getting done, it sometimes costs less than you’d think! Five stars all the way!

Really unprofessional. I had numerous questions which needed to be followed up by a dermatologist, I never got a followup. Even followed up with them twice, and they said they would call. I just don't understand how a clinic this expensive and high end could be this unprofessional with my case. EDIT (Sep 20): They finally followed up with me 4 weeks later. They saw my review apparently they somehow forgot to followup. They offered me a facial to make up for it. I see another reviewer has mentioned that they also contacted her after her bad review. The real problem here is, I posted my review 3 weeks after my appointment, more than enough time to followup.

I've been a client of New DermaMed for a few years now, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. After moving to Toronto I was looking for a good laser hair removal service. I first visited NDD because of the convenient location by the subway and late evening and weekend hours, and excellent online reviews. The clinic is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. The equipment seems top-notch. The best part is the staff, who are experienced, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, discreet, and fun! I actually really enjoy my visits here. Since I've had good results with laser, this year I've also tried a few other services. Microdermabrasion, then the oxygen and chemical peels. Each has been different but great! I would do them all even more regularly if I had a bottomless bank account. I initially stayed away from buying any products as I didn't want to be pressured or "upsold", but did eventually cave and bought a cleanser, then moisturizer, then more and more from different lines. The products are pricey but very high quality, and now they are all I use. NDD is a bit pricier than some other clinics, but still reasonable and they have good packages and promotions/sales. I've never really questioned the value that I get from the service... I can't even remember or imagine my previous life of daily shaving, and I've had people mention that my skin is "glowing". Something must be working! I've been a client for a few years now and am so happy that I discovered this place. All of my treatments to date have been great. Some areas are more stubborn than others and need more sessions, but overall it has been very positive. Have referred friends and family and will continue to do so! I realize that this review is so positive that it sounds fake, but I promise it's legitimate and real - I just wanted to share my very positive feedback as I think this is a great place with great people, and I want them to survive and flourish!

the facility was always clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. i had to reschedule many appointments due to school and they were always accommodating with that. i got my Brazilian and legs lasered at newdermamed and although it was at times painful it was effective. I went just for a free consultation and I can tell that I am not going to purchase a treatment there. the environment is cold, white, not a warm environment , it makes me feel uncomfortable ; the medical skincare consultant did the analysis on my skin, she is nice but not very greeting She has recommend me some laser treatments. I don't like the fact that she said that there is a promotion right now for a package knowing that the special promotion is always available on the website. She just pushed me to buy now otherwise I would loose the special promo. But most importantly the environment and the team don't help me to willing to buy a treatment there. I understand that it is not a spa but a clinic but I prefer somebody who really cares about my concern and skin instead of somebody who just explain the difference types of treatments that I can find on their documentation.

Really lovely people and quite helpful, but it's been over two (almost three) weeks since I went in for botox and I am not seeing results, sadly ($400 later :( ) - I'm editing my review to add that I was requested by New Derma to remove this review. Unfortunately that leads me to believe that there may have been other, previous, semi-negative reviews of New Derma that were subsequently taken down so as to bump up their overall rating. My recommendation? If you go in curious about treatment x, make sure the technicians expressly tell you it is the correct solution. In my case, even after a 30 minute Q & A treatment x (botox) did not work, and in my email correspondence with the company where I expressed that, while I had an enjoyable time at their clinic the results were less than satisfactory, New Derma states that I should have instead received treatment y (e.g., fillers, etc). Of course, this is not something I (not a trained professional in this field) would know. While I don't have much experience with clinics, all I can say is please make sure you find a company that will not simply take your money, but properly advise you on the best course of action. You and your wallet will be happier for it!

If ypu have icepick scarring or boxcar scarring DON'T go here! They only care about $$ and will tell you that all you need is fraxel lasering to get rid of it. I believed them because I didnt do my research on the different types of scarring when I first came to them. Bought 3 sessions and after 2 sessions my scarring is deeper and bigger. I didn't even bother to go for my third treatment. Go to a board certified dermatologist instead of the scammers. While certain lasers will help rolling scars, if you have icepick or boxcar, subcision with tca cross works best to treat those. Wish i could've left -stars instead of 1 star.

The main purpose I went the second time was asking questions on the results of Botox of the last visit to the " Lady who does the Botox". I ended up doing touch ups because somehow she tried to do what I asked for and again same result. I have done botox so many times the way I wanted it to be and I got the results I wanted. I do not know why she insisted that it doesn't work the way I asked for. Another thing, the botox i done with them didnt last for even two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't recommend going to this place, I had three sessions of laser resurfacing, after the second sessions, there was no reaction on my skin, so called in and they redid the entire session. they called while ago regarding some sort of promotion and I told them I wasn't happy with my first treatment they offered a complementary treatment, called again this morning and they said they already offered me two complementary sessions, ( which was not complementary) they also charge way more than other centres. I don't recommend them at all

Prior to booking an appointment they gave me a price for half a filler of Juvederm volbella for touch up ..saying it’s available. ( even though they charge more then other places thought they would do a good job so I booked the appointment anyway) When I went there the nurse lied saying she doesn’t carry that brand and that they usually use full syringes as opposed to half. Horrible second experience! I’d been there before and had an amazing experience with Gretchen to remove a mole. I came back earlier this year to remove another spot on my lip. I was assigned to Alin - stoic lady Eastern European lady who did the procedure. She had cashed me out but did not provide a receipt and promised she would email which she never did. I called to do a follow up as it didn’t seem she didn’t remove anything. I called the receptionist who could not confirm I had paid which I did! I would never go back again! Once Gretchen left, the place went down.

It's been around a month now since I've last got my nose fillers done by Marco and I've got to say that he did a fantastic job! He was conservative with the Juvederm and made sure that it looked natural instead of overdone. A little goes a long way and such a small change made a big difference in how I look, I finally have a nose bridge! I also got botox done on my enlarged masseter muslces to slim done my face, Marco set my expectations straight and informed me that it doesn't always work on all patients. We decided to try out 30 units on each side of my face to test if I was responsive to the botox or not and he offered a 2 week follow up session to check up on my jaw and nose. To my delight 2 weeks passed and my face slimmed down considerably, and my nose looked even better once the swelling went down. I would highly recommend this clinic and also Marco!

Their terminologist recommended me a laser treatment set (6 treatments) and a product kit (1 cleanser, 1 cream and 1 serum). Following the terminologist's instruction, I tried their products and I got skin irritation from the cream. So I returned it back. They refused to refund me. I had negotiated with them for many times. Sometimes they said their managers were off work, sometimes other excuses. Another terminologist was pretty confident that my skin is allergic to one ingredient, and then one male manager gave me another product's sample. He said if I feel ok with this product, they could exchange my product. Unfortunately, my skin got irritated again. This time, they told me that I could choose another product on their shelf near the front dest for a replacement. I didn't make a decision. They said they would keep $50 credit in my account and I could use it in the future. Last week, when I went to do my last skin treatment, I asked them to use my credit for a product. However, I could afford any product by using this $50 credit, I still have to pay extra! This is a trap, I feel they have ripped me off. If you are considering experiencing their skin treatments, please don't let their terminologists persuade you to buy any products!!! Their products are not worth buying at all!!!

When I walked in the facility is white yes lol but it is modern and clean not cold and unwelcoming like someone else suggested. Also I was not upsold at all... I went in for my appointment she asked if I wanted to remove it right away I said yes and signed their waiver and then she did the procedure, I even brought up other stuff I said I wanted to have done and she did not upsell me on that either... she just said to make an appointment and she could def help me... Great service and great treatment results. Have gotten several rounds of Laser Genesis, Microdermabrasion and Photo Rejuvenation (over the span of 2 years) and have seen noticeable results. Microdermabrasion is great for clogged pores and clears the skin instantly, feel like my skin can breathe again. I saw instant results with Photo Rejuvenation and kept coming back. Results from Laser Genesis were not immediate but after 2/3 treatments the results became more noticeable which kept me coming back. Staff are great and very knowledgable and offer treatments that are great for your skin, they do not push products on you which is wonderful. Highly recommend Olga, Christabelle is wonderful as well.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Now I have permanent scars for life! I went in for mole removal for 5 moles I had on my neck and chest. They assured me that they were mole experts and that the area would heal Nicely based on my skin type. Instead I am left with indented white patchs on my skin that are more noticable than the moles! I never saw a doctor. They said the nurse did all the mole treatments and it wasn't necessary. Aren't moles potentially cancerous??? Shouldn't a doctor check it before they remove it??? Shady practice to say the least. Beware Newdermamed!

I have been going here for years for laser hair removal and have finally decided to stop going. Over the years the management and people have changed a lot, the prices keep going higher and the service keeps getting worse. The last time I went in, they told me I hadn’t paid for my treatment even though I had prepaid and this was my last session. After a lot of time doing back and forth and convincing that I paid them and wasn’t going to pay again, they finally checked the back to find the receipts and confirmed I had indeed paid already. This whole ordeal was so unnecessary how it was handled. After coming here for years and having to deal with that was not fun. In terms of the actual laser hair removal, each time the area gets smaller and smaller of the coverage but the prices keep going up. It’s not worth coming here anymore, everyone is very pretentious and not a great welcoming atmosphere.
