Dr. Joe was very informational and patient with me when I saw him. I went to several other doctors to get consults and finally decided that Dr. Joe was in fact the best and most experienced in the metro area. HE has done more surgery's and is very specialized in the trans-auxiliary (arm pit) incision. The scars for my large 400cc implants are very very minimal which was one of my concerns. After only one month the scars are very minimal and discrete. I am so glad that I went with him! I had a friend recommend him to me and I will do the same to my girlfriends. If i have any advice it is FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS TO GO A LITTLE BIT BIGGER! You will thank your self after :) Great at the follow ups and provide all the info I needed to make my decision from the start with no pressure. This was more pleasant than going to my normal doctor!

I had a breast augmentation and lift done by a competitor approx a year and a half ago. Although I was pleased with the results, I had a “waterfall” effect going on with my implant and I also wanted to go bigger. Dr Joe made that happen for me. I went from a 250cc to a 700 cc, I am approx 1.5 weeks post op, and I had a very enjoyable experience (although my experience isn’t 100% over yet. I go in for my 2 week post op in a few days) Dr Joe isn’t the cheapest place but this is your body and you’re gonna have to live with it forever, why not go to the best in the biz. Dr Joe made me feel comfortable and heard for exactly what I wanted. He was very open and honest about what my results would look like and although his work is flawless, from the beginning, he made sure I knew the risks and that when you deal with the human body, everyone is different. This is not a blank canvas & you have to work with what you got. I appreciated the honesty as I had not heard that from other surgeons. You can’t guarantee anything in life and from my initial consult that really stuck with me. His work is incredible and my recovery time was minimal. My previous surgery, I couldn’t get out of bed for about 4 days. After this surgery, I was up moving around the next day. Highly recommend, can’t recommend enough. Amazing! So thankful! Beautiful job! I had broken my nose in such a funny way that it really required being repaired cosmetically. I searched the internet and found Dr. Joe. I kept finding articles he'd written about rhinoplasty and I was very impressed with his expert skill level - he teaches around the world! He has a book that he's written about cosmetic procedures that included rhinoplasty as well that I found extremely informative and I knew I trusted his expertise. Top that off with the office experience, the team really is exceptional! Dr. Joe spent time with me and made me feel like there was no rush, he was only interested in knowing me and what I was looking for and hoping for him to accomplish on my behalf. I was really impressed with him, he was so friendly, calm and sincere. I really just wanted him to fix the bridge of my nose, I had a small splintered protruding bone ... I just told him I trusted him with the outcome and appearance of my nose. The surgery went really well. I was further impressed that Dr. Joe came to see me before the surgery to discuss my expectations with me again. Then, immediately following the surgery, he visited with me once again and reassured me that my procedure went perfect! My nose is so cute! I love what he did/created for me! My nose is not a lot different, yet much improved! I love the way he lifted the tip and improved my symmetry and even improved my breathing!!! I am SO happy!! I'm 6 weeks post-op right now and really feeling back to normal. I'm back to smiling my natural smile. For me, the first 2 weeks were recovery - I had a couple days of down time and then needed to return to my daily activities. I wish I had had more time to rest. Other than that, everything went really well and I couldn't be happier. Also, every correspondence I had with the office was always immediately returned. I very much appreciate that level of professionalism. Dr. Joe's office clearly aims to please and that's apparent from every interaction.

My previous implants were done by another doctor that was a huge disappointment caused me pain, trauma, depression, anxiety. But the moment I got out of that operating room and surgery with Dr. Chopra I felt no pain stress, anxiety anything a huge weight was lifted off of my chest literally and figuratively speaking. I'm about 7 weeks -- almost 2 months -- post-op from a rhinoplasty (and chin augmentation) with Dr. Gryskiewicz and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I went in to get my dorsal hump straightened and some deprojection done. I think part of the success is that I went in with realistic expectations and no 'one' set version of how I thought my nose should look; I simply wanted improvement (but I did bring multiple idealized photos). The other part is that he knew what he was doing... The procedure itself and recovery was very easy for me. I'm not sure how common this is, but I could breathe from my nose right after surgery (slowly it became more congested as it healed, then got better). I used minimal pain meds. When the cast came off, I liked the results instantly -- even with the swelling, which is how I knew it was a job well done. The only semi-painful part of the experience was removing a few stitches around the inside of the nostrils. I should say I noticed some asymmetry from the front view of my nose -- more so at first -- and now it's straightening more as the swelling subsides. I'm looking forward to more/improved changes within a year. I would 100% recommend Dr. Joe. I'll try to add update(s) later.

Dr. Joe was wonderful! I had a friend who had previously used him for breast augmentation and gave a great recommendation on him! Dr. Joe was able to help me with mild breast sagging and wanting a fuller chest. He recommended doing a dual plane procedure to do an internal lift with an implant. I am beyond happy with my results! My breast lifted and filled out perfectly! I didn’t have much pain at all following the procedure, just some pressure feeling for a couple days! Dr. Joe is such a kind person and I would recommend him to everyone!

I had quick recovery breast augmentation (high profile silicone) done with Dr.Joe in May of 2018 and am very happy with the results. I chose to do a transaxillary incision (through the armpit) for minimal scarring. My surgery was on Friday and I was back to work on Monday - with pain pills and normal chest discomfort for the next few weeks. I was able to pay for most of the surgery out of pocket and the rest I was able to make monthly payments through CareCredit. Best Decision I ever made. I am VERY happy with my results.. (sometimes I wish I had gone bigger.. maybe next decade!). I am 5'7", 160lbs, was a 32B and am now happily a 32DDD.

Dr Joe is the worse plastic surgeon you could possibly ever get surgery from. Go with Edina plastic surgery because you will be in much better hands! Dr Joe gave me a crooked nose and now I have horrible breathing problems because of it! When I asked him to fix it, he refused. Oh and my stomach looks horrible, like large curd cottage cheese because he did a very poor job on liposuction! Do not, I repeat, do not go to Dr, Joe for anything! I’m so disgusted with him!

I got a BA from Joe a year ago, and I mentioned how I believe one side needed a bigger implant and how I want them the same size and I know they won’t be exactly alike but close enough if I’m spending almost 8k on a BA. It’s been a year po and one implant is noticeably bigger than the other. And I even mentioned to him how I’d want a revision after a year and he denied me because he didn’t think he could give me what I wanted when all he needed to do was give my smaller implant a bigger implant to even them out better. So therefore I’m not happy with my results.

Based off of reading initial good reviews, I decided to consult with Dr. Joe Gryskiewicz office for lip filler. I had my first consult in Burnsville. The office was very outdated, compared to other offices and medical spas I’ve been to. I do not remember the women’s name I consulted with, but she was blond, and very cold. Throughout the consult, she kept looking me up and down, which was very uncomfortable. The whole consultation seemed rushed; as if she didn’t want to be there.. or wasn’t taking me seriously. I let her know about my concern with the lips- I won’t go to much in detail here. She suggested what is called a “lip flip” prior to doing the actual lip filler first. Basically, just injecting 4 units of dysport into the problem areas on the lip. She insisted this would solve that problem I expressed to her, this and that. This being my first time receiving injections, I trusted her. A few weeks later, I did the lip flip as instructed. Very quick, it took a few seconds. The nurse injector was friendly. However, I went through about 2 1/2 weeks of bruising/swelling on the sides of my lips- all for nothing. The bruising went down, the swelling went down, for no result. A complete waste of time. Very untrustworthy. I do not recommend this office, especially the Burnsville office. I’m glad I didn’t continue with the additional services, I cannot imagine how that would of turned out after this disaster. I highly recommend you do your research.

Dr. Joe goes above and beyond for his patients. I had unwanted results from my first 2 breast augmentations (this was solely due to my muscle structure and body) and Dr. Joe has always been there to listen to my concerns and to try to fix the issue. I am now 2 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier. I just had liposuction, abdominoplasty and my breast implants removed and replaced with larger implants above the muscle instead of underneath with a lift. My results are amazing, even though I of course am still healing and swollen. I've had a lot of pain (I did have alot of work done) and Dr. Joe and his staff have gone above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable. Amber is the best and very caring. I highly recommend Dr. Joe!

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr.G at a young age. He gave me multiple options and explained everything to me fully. He was very sweet and calm about everything. Day of surgery I was nervous and he put me at ease. Procedure was great and mine personally were difficult to get me what I wanted from what I originally had. He got me exactly what I wanted, he is an artist! Follow up appointment after surgery to make sure your happy and healing well and even went in a few years later with concerns and he consulted me quickly free of charge to make sure I was good, which I was. I get compliments on his work all the time and everyone thinks they are natural despite they are a larger size. Dr. G is awesome!
