View Royal Surgical Centre provided me with the most incredible care during my day surgery. I was definitely nervous for surgery, but everyone from the booking clerk to the nursing and surgical staff were amazing, professional, kind and honestly warm which was extremely calming and reassuring. Healthcare can be a fast-paced and unpredictable environment and it is easy to just feel like a number, but at this centre the staff make you feel comfortable and like a priority. Wonderful staff and incredible patient care, I feel very grateful that I got to have my surgery here.

Check-in first person, elder lady was very cold and rude. Not a great welcome or comfort for my daughter who was about to go into her first surgery. People skills training required. The rest of my daughters experience after her was A plus.

I highly recommend this centre to anyone who has the option to get their procedures done here. Not only does the location have wonderful views and friendly staff, it is clean and well organized. My nurses Amelia, Jennifer and Tia were fantastic, helpful, friendly and caring making my time in Centre recovery easy and comfortable. As someone who has had previous bad experiences in hospital this is was the perfect place to ease my anxieties. If I ever have to have an operation again I will request this facility if at all possible.

Had surgery yesterday morning. And this is some of the best treatment and care I have ever received. The entire staff from front desk, to nurses, anesthesiologist, doctors, were absolutely professional and so courteous. Highly recommend them also it’s a beautiful facility and the rooms have amazing views! Thank you all for making my day go smoothly and making me feel so at ease. Top Notch all the way.

Intake staff was very rude. Inadequate information provided pre-surgery, even when asked a week in advance about approximate length, home preparations for patient return. NO details given upon discharge - could or would not tell what drugs patient had been given or when. Overdrugged patient put in car then driver given a list of 7 prescriptions to go get - said pharmacist would answer any questions. Pharmacist beside them had no idea when to start these, as no one knew what had already been given or when. Had no idea what had actually been repaired or where on shoulder, when asked discharge said "talk to doctor" - right!? at 5 pm? good luck. Sling put on incorrectly. Shown proper positioning 2 days later at local hospital. Could not get any answers from them even the next day re: drugs or surgical report. The only positive is the nurses were pleasant to patient once inside.

I had a procedure there yesterday and all the staff was very kind, helpful and personable. They run this clinic very efficiently and were on time which was so appreciated! I had an excellent experience here and I highly recommend this facility. A big thank you to Dr. Emmerton-Coughlin, the nurses and the front desk staff.

I was at the VR Surgical Centre for the first time earlier this week and was very impressed with the process and service provided by all involved - from the admitting staff, to the prep Nurse LLona (and others) through to Dr. Pai. It was an excellent experience in what's usually an anxious moment for patients for a variety of reasons. I highly recommend this facility for patient care.

I was so incredibly anxious today when I arrived for my procedure. From the check in desk, to the nurse who called me in, the IV nurse, and the prep and sedation nurses and lastly, Dr. Loomes....Top notch! All of them! They were all comforting, kind and funny! They assured me from the start they were all going to take good care of me, and they did just that! Thank you!!!

I had foot surgery one week ago, and feel lucky that I was referred to this Centre for the procedure. It was so clean and bright and state of the art. The staff, everyone from check-in through to the operating room were most professional, while still very friendly and reassuring. One small hick-up, my original surgeon had her baby unexpectedly the night before, but ,again, all was handled very professionally, and went ahead on schedule. The staff made me fee so cosy and comfortable, they sat me in a big comfy lazy boy chair with a beautiful view ...while I waited..moved me to the operating room where they quickly removed the carcinoma from my face ,stitched it up and then helped me find my way out of the building.
