dr. Tortstensen replaced both my knees.. no problems whatsoever. i am back walking golf course 3 times a week after quitting for 5 years.

Cycle Life

I would not recommend seeing this doctor if you have the choice. Dealing with Rebalance, and his receptionist was pretty easy, and effective. Kudos to them. It was a bit suspicious how my MRI wasnt booked for many weeks, but once i played squeeky wheel with them, I was booked in right away. All in all that portion of the experience was good. Anyways, on to my experience with Dr. Torstensen. Upon meeting him his demeanor and questions of my ongoing injury were very nonchalant, and Laise faire. He didnt seem to care at all, and wasnt immersing himself in fact gathering and problem solving of my injury. Even though there is lots of swelling and pain. He didn't even bend down to look at my ankle. After MRI, he did listen to all my questions which was professional of him, but that is where my compliments end. He didnt have 1 useful suggestion other than to stretch my muscles, and use topical anti inflammatory cream. (Which I have been doing for 6 years already). He completely copped out of giving any useful insight, suggestions, or referrals. Basically said that MRI is good, and I'm fine. Even though im in much pain (and swelling) daily for years. No apologizing, or nothing. In conclusion, I DO NOT recommend this guy if you or your injury requires any problem solving or care. Or if you want to surround yourself with a quality human. Dr. Tortensen, you should hang your head in shame, and refund me for my wasted time.
