A lovely young lady working as customer concierge made me feel so relaxed and welcome, she was very sweet and brought me tea while I waited. I have 2 micro needling and one fractora treatments to treat my scars. After my second microneedling treatment when i didn't see even 1% improvement i decided to give fractora a try. I mentioned them my time line and concern. i told them that i am completely depending on their expertise rather than my choice of treatment. I repetitively ask them questions as they seem least concern. After the third treatment there is no single improvement that i can see. It is such a huge disappointment for me as i went to them with lot of expectations. For me it turned out to me a wastage of money.

I have had a few bad experiences in the past with medi spas and Cosmedica and their staff were understanding and went out of their way to make me feel more than comfortable. All of my treatments were thouroughly explained and the staff were extremely knowlegable and careful when assessing my needs when deciding what is best for me personally. Love this clinic! I fly from Vancouver to go here a few times a year. Dr. Lupin is a highly qualified dermatologist who is excellent at his trade. I have done a number of laser treatments, botox, thermage and filler. All with wonderful natural results. The staff is terrific, helpful and kind and the clinic feels very refreshing and relaxing. They take pride in their work, and their machines and their environment. I won't go anywhere else.

Amazing service with Cara at Cosmedica I had my coolsculpting treatment with Cara at Cosmedica today. I have not gone through any treatment yet but the consultation went very well! She made me feel relaxed and very encouraged about the outcome of my procedure I’m happy ???? I had filler on my frown lines and lines on either side of the lower lip! It was painless and saw immediate results! I’m looking forward to seeing the results in a couple of weeks after the swelling goes away! I know I’ll be so pleased!

Saw Dr. Lupin and his wife 22 years ago and they were fabulous. This time I was referred to Dr. Lupin by my physician that I had specifically requested and Dr. Lupin's office booked me with Dr. Morrici (sp?)....she has the personality of a pill and didn't appear to have absolutely any concern for my skin whatsoever. Her comments were rude, short, she gave me a Rx and sent me on my way. When I asked about recommendations for my rosacia and skin tightening...she frankly said "No, you'll have to talk to those other girls in the office"....I would NEVER see this doctor again. Dr. Lupin needs to get rid of her.

I got in without waiting and was able to make a appointment with a less then 24 hour wait time. The lady who did my botox was very informative and explained everything that she was doing and why. I have had botox done at other clinics and this one lasts the longest. Different companies mix their botox at a different strength to increase profits. They have good quality botox and don't over mix it with saline.

First I want to say I have been a customer at Cosmedica for about 20 years. I had an appointment scheduled for photodynamic therapy consultation, and met with someone whom I think, seemed to have very little experience or knowledge. She kept going back and forth to ask questions to some other person as she couldnt answer my simple queries about the treatment. She also said to me I would need a referal from a dermatologist and a prescription for the metvix(?) cream needed for my face. I said why would I need that, Dr Lupin is a dermatologist and he should be able to do this since they are offering the treatment. Anyways after some back and forth it did not make sense to me to go through all the trouble of doing that. You have a dermatologist doctor and you offer the treatment, so make it happen right? I decided to go to port coquitlam to another dermatologist and they had no issue getting everything in order for me to get my treatment. I think that this place has gone downhill and Dr Lupin just doesnt seem to be involved anymore. My Advice to Cosmedica: do not offer treatments you cant do from start to finish!

The staff was very kind and patient with me and had no qualms answering my many many questions! I was nervous as it was my first treatment like this but as soon as I stepped inside their office the calm ambiance and friendly and knowledgeable staff soothed me. The treatment was very fast, under 15 minutes and so easy! And the tea they serve is divine!

Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication. I have not been going to cosmedica long but in that time I've gotten different information from seperate laser tech specialists since I didn't just have one person working on me. Due to all the mix up in information multiple times I mistakenly came into an appointment unprepared. I was annoyed that I kept getting different advice and when I brought this up to pam the laser tech she tells me I dont get to be mad because its my fault and because I get free lidocaine cream? Which I didn't realise that people didn't usually get that, but I dont feel that makes it ok that I'm being given contradicting advice... She didn't even acknowledge what I said about getting different advice than what she was giving she just repeated her opinion and when she asked if I would be rebooking I said "I dont think so" she then walks out of the office and into another room without even looking at me again. I did not yell, I did not swear I was frustrated for good reason but I was not impolite. I will be bringing my business else where, this was a big disappointment.

I’ve had great results at Cosmedica from the Enlighten laser for tattoo removal. My tattoos are both black ink only. With having 4 or 5 treatments now complete, one tattoo is almost completely gone and my other has faded substantially. The area where my skin has been treated looks great - no scarring whatsoever. The treatments have been tolerable pain-wise and the staff have all been very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend Cosmedica for Enlighten.

My GP suggested Cosmedica to me and since then I have had two procedures completed by Dr. Lupin and on both occasions he and his staff were professional, knowledgable and very kind. I was so impressed by how they explained everything they were doing before and during the procedure. I came for a consultation and felt like my visit was a waste of my time. When i called to book my consultation, i explained what my concerns were. My expectation was to meet an aesthetician or dermatologist who could give me professional advise but instead I was met by a patient care provider who couldn't give me any concrete treatment plan and upon hearing my concerns, advised me to go to a walk in clinic first and then get a referral to see the dermatologist. I could have been told this on the phone when i was booking my consultation. I was honestly disappointed.

I had some broken blood vessels on my face removed here a year ago. It is a very professional and friendly clinic. I was a bit disappointed that I did not get to talk to the doctor - only the laser technician. Now, I have many more broken blood vessels to remove - in a large band across my nose. Cosmedica wanted wanted $850. So I went to MD Aesthetics in Colwood, where they have the same lasers. I met with the doctor himself for over half an hour, and they quoted me $195. I opted to buy 3 laser sessions for $495, that I can use as I need, since this is a recurring problem for me. The office threw in doing both of my cheeks for no extra charge. This was less noticeable, but it actually ended up being a bigger job than the nose. Bottom line is Cosmedica is good, but very expensive. I'd shop around before choosing.

I'm a healthy women in her early 50s with experience in using a little filler / Botox here & there to improve my appearance. I moved from Ont. where treatments are done by a Dr & a follow up appt scheduled within 2 weeks to ensure everything is fine & if more is needed. Dr Lupin is strangely rude, condescending and shows no respect for a woman's knowledge of her own experience. I chose to ignore this behavior because the staff seemed always empathetic after his behaviour but now see it was a red flag.. I had my first treatment & a canula of filler was injected under one eye and it immediately filled what looked like a pocket/bubble & when I politely addressed the immediate issue Dr Lipin was extremely rude, blamed my expectations - walked out the room. I sat there dumbfounded. I called the clinic weeks later as the strange swelling has not resolved, was told it was "normal ". A dr who doesn't make any time for follow ups & is making mistakes is a Dr women should not be giving our money to..

I went to Cosmedica to find a solution for my saggy face and they recommended to get cheek fillers. I did and my face turned aweful and looking deformed when I smiled. I asked them to get it removed and I lost $1,400. This bad result was either a bad product or bad application. All they did about it is giving me 6 sessions of "complementary laser hair removal in my upper lips, valued $300 that was not enough to remove my hair in that area. I am very disappointed of this place. And that is not all, one my friends just had the same results with cheeks fillers at Cosmedica and unfortunately I couldn't warn her on time. I do not recommend this place at all.

I was reccomended a series of the "Laser Genises" treatments for my redness from acne scaring. I did my first treatment with Lindsay who was so kind and professional. I was also provided adequate samples of some products that I could try. I look forward to my other sessions and excited to see my results !

Before this experience I was a happy repeat customer, In late August I was booking a treatment they had on promotion and the nice girl on the phone suggested I get an add-on and what the extra charge would be. It was sold as a wonderful deal and I agreed to it. Then at the consultation the amount was significantly higher than I was originally told over the phone. After her looking into it, and her learning there was some pricing miscommunication amongst them, to my knowledge, the first amount was what I would be charged. I understood it as settled. Then on the day of the treatment, the higher amount was still on my file. The office manager stated she was not going to honour the amount I was originally offered. Really? And suggested that the first amount was unheard of, implying I was lying. She took some money off but it was clear she was not happy to do that. I let it go, and paid for their mistake. I am reviewing late because as it turns out, only about one month later, I see the same treatment and add-on are now being offered for the special promo price I was originally offered over the phone, and it is not unheard of. It was too much for her to ‘honour’ the price one month early. Unbelievable. Honour is part of maintaining good customer relationships.

I was very very nervous to go to see Dr.Lupin as I have never had any injections done. I was handled with care and excellent information was given to me so then I felt secure in making my decision.
