No matter what time of day you call, the automation always says that they’re experiencing high call volumes. So frustrating, it’s almost impossible to speak to the receptionist!!!!!

I have been going to SMG to meet Dr. Renee Aversano and did not experience any issues. However, she left and I had to switch my primary care. I went to meet Dr.Doan yesterday i.e 29th Dec 2021. I was traveling from Framingham to Watertown and experienced more than usual traffic. My appointment was at 3 pm but due to this unexpected traffic my arrival time was 3:12 pm. In order to avoid any issues while reaching the centre I had given them a courtesy call that I will be arriving by 3:12 and they said as long as it’s not later than 3:15 pm it should be fine. The moment I arrived at the clinic at 3:12 pm they immediately said that they will not allow me to enter and I will have to reschedule. Traveling for more than 30 mins to reach the clinic I wanted to meet the doctor. The doctor communicated that she does not take patients later than 10 mins of the appointment. I mean seriously?? I reached at 3:12 and they argued with me for 2 mins late arrival and had no intention of making that appointment work. I was extremely disappointed at this behavior. The doctor said that she has started seeing a new patient. How is that even possible when I had an appointment with the doctor. Please don’t fall into this trap which I did by booking an appointment in advance, being late by only 2 mins and still not being able to meet the doctor after traveling for more than 30 mins. I would highly NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC. The receptionist was not helpful at all by communicating my situation to the doctor.

I love my PCP in the Newton office! She's awesome and it's so easy to make an appointment and get seen almost right away. She works so hard to get it right every time. It's a good team they have in that office.

I was told a visit for a cough and routine tests would be covered under my insurance which was not the case. Should not mislead patients.

I drove a half hour, waited 15 minutes in the lobby, and then 10 minutes in my room just for the doctor to tell me I needed to make another appointment. You couldn’t of just told me that over the phone instead of my wasting my time?

The worst experience!!! The woman of the service in watertown, who answering the phone is extremely rude! The same woman of the front desk service in watertown make me feel discriminated. Never patient answering the questions!. Never really helped the patient! Please do not come here if you see these comments.

Still receiving a past due bill from july2021 which I paid. I sent a copy of the check they endorsed for proof of payment. I have called numerous time with no satisfaction. In the future for medical attention I will request Lawrence General.
