REVIEWS OF Elliot Hospital Emergency Room IN Elliot Lake

Austin Mitchell

Almost 7 hour wait to not be seen. Nurse at the front desk was extremely rude when I asked if there was any idea how much longer. Not once did staff come through during that time to check on patients. Single worst hospital I've ever gone to (and I'm ex-military which says something).

People sitting in waiting room over 8 hours. If they have your results and the findings are non urgent but no rooms avail they should tell you to follow up with your doctor and they will send your tests results to them. Total breakdown in customer service.

Courtney Colson

I had my daughter here, my doctors were amazing

Ricky DiCillo

Absolutely the worst ER I've ever been to. You'll be in the tiny tiny tiny waiting room for hours and hours, with their TVs blaring at full volume, and you won't even get a room. Super inhospitable. They will flat out refuse to give you your test results over the phone, too. This is not the place to go if you're having an emergency, as you simply will not be treated.

Freddy Oliver

If your dying they will help you out

The staff in intake are the worst.. If you can manage to get by them The Doctor's and nurses are usually very cool. I've seen better care in 3rd world countries and I am absolutely appalled at what is going on in this trauma center

Very poor service . They don’t care who comes first . I had my baby waited for more than 6 hours at ER . They said they had four kids rooms but I was only with kids waiting out but never called out . The lady at front was very rude and inhumane . This was on October 21st 2021 at 8 pm through 1 am . I never recommend this place for ER . Third world country provides speedy and quality care . This is ridiculous Service . Eliot has to do something . It’s shame and inhumane to keep kids to wait that long .

I'm writing another review. This time with so much rage that I can barely hold it in. My father is 67 years old, he began to show symptoms of Sundowning. It took them 10+ hours to get him out of the waiting room. How pathetic does a staff have to be to make a senior citizen who barely understands what's going on, scared, and wanting to go home, wait 10+ hours to be seen. And what's more even after he got back into the ER it's been ever LONGER, almost 24 hours and my father has still not be tended to. I cannot fathom how a Hospital can function this poorly. How many people have left, and ended up worse because of Elliot's inability to function.

Sosanna Folz

Extremely long wait times in a cramped waiting room with no attempt at social distancing. Bathrooms were filthy and I didn't see anyone clean during our six hour wait. Only reason I went was because my daughter was sent over from urgent care. Doctors were good once we got to see them, but they were actually less aggressive with treatment than the original provider wanted who sent us. I know they are working on remodeling to address the overcrowding, but I can't forgive the waiting room and restrooms not being cleaned and the lack of communication while waiting. I'll go anywhere else first. Miserable experience.

Lobstercoco

Never had a bad visit on the many times I've had to go to the ER

Taylor Mitchell

If you like incredibly long wait times (4+ hours) then by all means this is your place. Staff was nice however.

This is by far the worst hospital in New Hampshire. Waited 6 hours for a bed another 4 hours to get my test results back . That was done 6 hours ago . Basically bring ur charger snacks and a blanket . It’s going to be a nightmare

Jessica Langer

If I could rate them a 0 I would. I sat in the waiting room for 7.5hrs for them to tell me I was fine. Did bloodwork in 30 mins and then it toom 7.5 hrs for them to tell me I was fine. AWFUL. NEVER COME HERE.

Bruce Tinker

Went in with a deep cut under my knuckle and swelling. I was told by staff basically I should have picked another day Mondays are busy. FYI soo sorry I picked the wrong day to get injured. There were people who literally had been waiting 12 hrs before giving up and walked out. 4 people did while I was there. I also did after another was saying they were tired of waiting and the staff said the Waite is about 12 hrs for some. I'm sorry but I'm not going to sit there that long. Just ridiculous

Philip Swan

My mother was admitted to the emergency room on Friday evening and I called for an update on Saturday morning and they had no record of her. They evidently sent her to another facility without telling the family. They had no record of admitting her even though I spoke to nurses in the ER Friday night and they had no record of discharging her today. If you are admitted to this hospital I wish you luck because they seem to be making it up as they go.

Anyah Merchant

I went to the Er today for a head injury and arm numbness. I was told from Urgent care you need to go to the ER. The secretary from the ER told me oh itll be a short wait we usually get the patients that come in from urgent care in the rooms immediately 3 hrs later i still have not been called in or treated my head and arm getting worse by the minute!!!!! NEVER AND I REPEAT NEVER GO TO ELLIOT ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THEY THINK A HEAD INJURY ISNT IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! I got to the point i gave up and left because it was ridiculous

Brooke Ashley

Place is ridiculous. The wait is entirely unacceptable. There are people suffering around me everywhere who have been waiting 9+ hours to be seen. I just moved here from Boston and never in my entire life have I ever waited in an emergency room for longer than 2hrs for either myself, kids, or clients’ whose care I oversee - and that was also in a high population area. Do better Manchester.

Sam B.

My grandmother was there with Alzheimers while they got her medications in check. Amazing! Messes were cleaned immediately, upon visiting her we were put in a private room, the staff is so patient and accommodating, and they did an amazing job of redirecting other patients while talking to my grand mother.

Billy Streight (Your Favourite Killjoy)

Fiancee went to UC and was told to go to ER. Waited 2 hours. Did some tests and waited another 4. They sent a letter 2 weeks later saying to call them to discuss test results. They were confused and said they'd call back. 14 hours later they say there's a prescription at a pharmacy we could pick up anytime. They hadn't even heard of it. We call again and they were extremely rude. Terrible place to go.

Kaylie Meacham

PLEASE READ REVIEWS. They are not wrong!! You have to babysit these people just to get them to fax over paperwork to another hospital because they couldn't bother to have someone who is in the fetal position, in pain seen within 4 hours of waiting. So when we try to find help for her, they make it just more impossible! Busy, absolutely, but the structure is disgusting of this place. Rather have junkies be priority than someone who has stroke symptoms. At what point does a change need to be put in place.

M Ribak

Unreliable. Long waits, unpleasant and uncaring staff.

Lucy Lulusoa

I made the mistake of taking my dehydrated, burning with a fever, vomiting, appendicitis suspect child to this ER. After the valet gave us a non-sanitized wheelchair, since my daughter could not stand, we entered to see no one to triage at the door or ensure social distancing, no accessible visible alcohol gel/wipes. When you register the entire room can hear all your information, HIPPA violation alert. I knew I had to leave that place the minute I walked in, but my car was done being parked about a mile away. I literally felt like I was in a 3rd world country! A very small hot and smelly "carpeted" space with about 30 people crammed in there sitting 5 inches away from one another, some vomiting on said carpet. So when we were called to be triaged, after 3 minutes trying to get the wheelchair into a tiny triage room with 0 help from the nurse. At least that explains the horrible scuffs on the door. Finally I had to lift my daughter and get her in. The lady before me took 5 minutes to get out with her double baby carriage again with 0 help from the nurse, but another patient went to the rescue. We were then told the wait would be very long and that the pediatric ER would probably close before we were seen and would have to wait with the adults. (What? An ER with a closing time?) I ran out of there as fast as I could with my daughter and we took our business elsewhere. Smartest decision I made! If this is how you are handling a pandemic, you looked completely unprepared and disastrous! A scene from an underdeveloped country! A shame! After we left and while we were being properly cared for at another different hospital, I heard the Elliot ER had started to flood. You know what they say, always trust your motherly instinct!

Chad Laurent

Over 3 hours waiting with a sick infant. Rude reception staff. Should have went to a different hospital. So angry with elliot.

Katherine Richey

Friendly staff on a late Thursday night. Wait was long (2+hrs), but it was expected knowing COVID is at all time high in NH. Once admitted into the pediatric area the examination was swift and treatment straightforward. We were very happy with our visit once everything was said and done.

Robert Kuhl

Went there at 3 am with severe ear infection. Waiting area had TVs blaring some 10 minute late night infomercial, no quiet place anywhere. i turned the volume down on the one closest me & the Manchester cop doing security starts hassling me big time, threatens to eject me for tampering. Of course the hosp admin person took his side, not caring i was in pain & more from the tv noise. Effing joke.

06/09/19 - around 1:00 pm If I could give zero stars I would. There is no fast way of getting in and out. Took my daughter in for an allergic reaction. Went in at 12:45 pm, an hour later and we still had not seen the doctor. Ended up walking out without seeing the doctor because obviously there was no apparent urgency in her situation. Seems like there are way too many nurses doing nothing, or paper shuffling, or "going on break" and not enough help trying to get people seen and out the door. Lack of compassion is also an item I was not happy with. In the future, I rather go elsewhere for "urgent care".

Jeniffer Oxford

Got extremely lucky with timing and had an almost empty waiting room. Was taken to be seen is less then 30 minutes. Every person I encountered was great. The lady doing the ultrasound was the sweetest. Made a painful time for me bearable.

Alicia Egloff

Nothing but horrible experience anytime I have dealt with Elliot. I have only been to their urgent care a few times but in those few visits they have done so much appalling disrespectful things l couldn’t possibly write about all of em without making my review so long no 1 would bother to read it. Stay away is all l can say! Fortunately Manchester is a city with several other options and l suggest that you go anywhere but Elliot. They lie, they sceme, and do everything possible to get appointments they can bill insurance for, but they never get around to actual treatment! There only goal is to see and process as many patients as possible but never do they concern themselves with treatment. They don’t want their patients to get better they just want em to come back. Then once you are there it’s like they take pleasure in keeping you there all day without ever taking a single action that might help you get better

Christina Cormier

The nurse in maternity Idabeth is so rude and she doesn’t even have empathy at all.She was my nurse in the morning but never came in the room she came when I called at 1400hrs when I was out of pads, then she came to remove the foley at 17:30pm left me in the bathroom all along and she said I have another patient I’m rushing to. I was really hurt and disappointed all other nurses I met were amazing except for her.

Katie Jardine

I know the nurses and docs are doing everything they can but the wait time is ridiculous. This needs to change. ER visits are absolutely the worst.

Scott “Macgyver46”

In the heart of a pandemic the ER had way to many people in a very small area.

Lorena Isza

The hospital itself is the reason why I give it 2 stars. But there are amazing people working there, and there’s a specific person I’d like to thank, Lee Ann. Very positive staff, and helpful, always nice and willing to do anything to help.

Jackie Ramos

If you want to die quick? Come here they will let you die!! This place suck

Jeraldini Santana

6-9-19 1 pm. My son had a possible clot in his arm and he laid in the emergency room bed for an hour and a half before anybody made any contact with us (which I initiated because we needed someone to acknowledge us). At an hour and 40 minutes waiting time, someone came and registered us. Still no contact from any other authorized people to tell us what was going to happen. After another hour and 45 minutes, someone came to take my son for an ultrasound but didn’t know why no one had spoken to us. “We are busy doing our job.” Was what she told me. There is little to no urgency in the 10-15 employees walking around or sitting. We were told it was a slow day. Others came and went, apparently our situation wasn’t serious enough for someone to come talk to us. 3:50 pm, doctor has come to see us and is pleasant and knowledgeable. Waiting on results of ultrasound.

I was born here 10 years ago, thanks for the doll u gave me right after the times I still have the doll! <3 - lana

This is the worst care I have ever seen my father get at the Elliot hospital with chest pains for over 2 hours sitting in a waiting room is ridiculous who cares about the patients not the Elliot Hospital now I'm going to my attorney because this is negligence on a patient and negligent care for a heart patient my father's name is William Turner and I am jealous to the hospital for his care that you are not supplying him is the worst care anybody could get if they go to the Elliot Hospital better off be ready to die and go to the Elliot Hospital his death is better than the chair at the

Shania Marie

Definitely don’t come here if you need immediate assistance. My poor grandmother has waited over 12 hours just to receive her test results and be seen by a doctor. Ridiculous. No one should have to wait that long, no matter what you need to be seen for.

cedric carrier

Worse emergency room around

David Gamel

Place is a joke. If you are going to the E.R. You would expect faster service. Arrived over four and a half hours ago and we are still sitting in the waiting room. Even after being sent from the Elliot rivers edge urgent care. This will be the last time I ever step foot in this place.

christina dubuque

Absolutely the worst care in Er.for our 98 year old Grandmother. Many nurses were rude, compassionate, uncaring..bordering on abuse..neglect. she was shoved in a back room left with no call light screaming for help. She requested a priest. Some witch who claimed she was the charge nurse rudely told her you are not actively dying you do not need a priest. Our sweet Gran knew she was in her final days she only lived 2 weeks after the worst treatment ever. They should not be employed here...rude, incompetent , no compassion at all for patients or their families going through devastation. They deserve minus 20 rating.

I've been here a number of times for medical emergencies that Urgent care or a normal doctors visit could not handle. Every time I come in here the waiting room reeks of cigarettes, urine, and it's always packed. I usually wait about 2-8 hours depending on how they're feeling. In fact I'm currently sitting in the waiting room 3/15/2019 and was checked in at 2:05PM. It's now 4:05PM. It's like they have no sense or urgency or adequate staffing to handle their high volume of patients. You'll unfortunately die before you're even seen here. Went to Derry Parkland Center and was immediately taken in. They didn't bill me for a bunch of unnecessary tests and I was out within 2 hours with no wait time.

Alex Bartholi

Was here for 6 days it wasn't fun they were they rude to me i waited for 9 hours one thr 1 st day

Cheryl Taylor

was rushed by ambulance in severe abdomn pain put in waiting room waited 2 hours before i left they had people in hallways getting medical treatment very unhappy

Brienne Burbank

If there was a way to give less, I would. This hospital is the worst, and I have bern in the hospital system for 7 years. They have messed up a spinal tap before which caused me to go to another hospital for 8 hours, for a blood transfusion patch. Not only will you wait hours, for possible sepsis, you will find most nurses could care less if you come or go....like die. Its an awful, awful place.

corduroy a

Its a trauma facility so the emergency room is always backed up. They always play the news which is the worst when youre sick. Waiting room is always full of people waiting too long, packed full, and all miserable. Nurses are very mean. I went here during a mental health crisis and could hear nurses whispering about how bad of a condition I was in and that I had been at a high heart rate for hours, in a tone like they were expecting me to die. Many people have had similar experience in cases of overdose or suicide attempt. Like wheres the compassion? These nurses do NOT follow the hippocratic oath. Got dismissed as "smoking too much weed", twice, upon seeing a gastro I have been diagnosed with 3 stomach problems and there was 0 imaging done. Do not go here if you have chronic pain, mental health issues. Actually, in any case, dont bother going. I would rather drop dead in the parking lot than step foot in this place.

John Dibert

Treated awesome and wait wasn’t long. Very happy with my care. Mornings are best if going to ER. Recommend going to Urgent Care if you’re sick.

They deserve a zero. I think the reason they can never give you an answer is to generate more testing to run up the bill and you leave and the problem was never resolved. Just a vicious circle. *Certain members of the ER staff should be fired for violation of HIPPA policies. They talk negatively about their patients to the Dr.'s and other nurses loud enough, so that the other patients can hear what they are saying about them, which totally violates the patients confidentiality* Go to Boston and save yourself! I'd rather see my dog's vet! At least my veterinarian has more compassion and caring then the joke of certain nursing staff members working in the ER dept! And you're never going to get a straightforward answer, just like the revolving door, you find yourself right back in there because they can't seem to fix it right the first time. Perhaps, they should lose some of the kids working there and get a diverse, tenured staff to watch what the children are doing behind the desks. I'd rather take my chances of dying before I ever step foot in that place ever again!! Look at their ratings and reviews, enough said!

Mama

I’m talking about the mental health area,,, Er staff not educated on working with people with these kinds of issues that vary. I myself had traumatic experience I can’t go into detail however I was treated like a convict not by the helpers called angels who watch you and take time to make sure your needs are met but the top staff are I can’t even explain it....... they take the mentally ill and outcast them if your having a breakdown security comes and attack you instead of the docs giving the ill a sedative very sad ????

I was at the emergency room Wednesday. 6 hour wait with multiple back and forth trips. The Majority of the STAFF were great and pleasant, except for a few. The Doctors were excellent. Not happy with the Elliot. My last trip there.

jacob brown

After sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours it took another 4 to figure out what was wrong with me

Katie Rivera

Very helpful, kind, generous, and empathetic during my food poisoning and panic attack. I don’t understand these bad ratings ????????‍♀️ maybe it was before my time. But this hospital is great. I had my baby here a year ago and that was an amazing experience as well.

Lisa Maple

I would rate zero if I could. There's no reason to have to wait for 6 plus hours in the waiting room. Seems like unless you OD you won't get a bed here. Absolutely BS! Worst hospital ever and don't bother with CMC either. With all of the ridiculous ODs other people have to wait. Great job Manchester. You now cater full time to junkies.

BE WARNED: Insurance doesn't cover a non-free standing urgent care center. If you just need to see a nurse or get an xray, go elsewhere!!! I sprained my ankle, called ahead to confirm they accepted my insurance, and got a friend to drive me for an xray. They told me they accepted my insurance, and they were in fact an urgent care center, so I assumed my urgent care co pay applied, or that insurance would cover most of the bill for an xray. I waited for several hours to get an xray (confirmed a sprain), see a nurse, and get a set of crutches (took all of 5 minutes). I got a bill for $720 - and that's after insurance covered their share: $64!!! When I called and spoke with my insurance, they said they (and almost all other insurance companies) do not cover urgent care centers connected to hospitals because the majority of the costs are "facility charges". My bill was $562 of facility charges and $120 of doctor's fees. The facility charges are only because the urgent care center is attached to a hospital, so they can charge the hospital usage costs the same way, even though I wasn't seen by a doctor or use any of the hospital facilities! They won't tell you up front that they are a hospital, and not a real urgent care center. Both they and my insurance company told me I would have paid 4x less had I visited a "free-standing urgent care center". I made the mistake of going to get an xray at the wrong urgent care center, and it cost me $720. BE WARNED! Go elsewhere!!!

Becky Kix

Zero stars. I wish I had read these reviews before I took my 5 year old. Everything is true: rude staff, people puking, people w chest pain, all just sitting for HOURS in pain and discomfort. I’d be so ashamed If I worked for this place. I am disgusted that this is “emergency care.” It’s dangerous, stay away!

Krissy Darling

This place sucks can't breathe but been waiting in the ER for 5 hours I should just walk out n die they don't care why should I?

SJ Holmwood

My husband died at this hospital from alcoholism and they treated us very well during this horrible time.

Wilfredo Cruz

You will literally die waiting at this place, it’s unreal, they make you wait so long that you’d rather just go home. I’m talking 4-8 hours

Jules D

The absolute worse emergency room I have ever been in. Was there for 6 hours waiting just to never be seen. They literally don’t treat anything like it’s an emergency. Don’t go here unless you want to waste your time!

zoe b

The woman at the reception desk in the emergency room was so rude. As Soon as I told her why I was there she rolled her eyes and her tone changed immediately I felt discriminated against. Then the nurse that checked me in when I was answering her questions honestly she repeated one of my answers in shock and was rude the whole conversation. They did absolutely nothing for me instead of them telling me from the start which they could have done, that I was safe and okay they left me in the bed and did not check one thing. They didn’t do an ekg when I told them my heart beat felt rapid. They literally just did not treat me with respect bc of the nature of why I was there. The doctor however was extremely nice and helpful and one nurse was compassionate and helpful as well. As for those two women who treated me that way I would never go back to that hospital due to their discrimination and unprofessionalism.

Bonnie McConnell

Took abulance in. Waiting game had me in a wheelchair in front lobby. Way too many patients not enough staff. Highly unorganized. Worst hospital I have ever been in. I ubered home after 2 hours. Don't go here. Stay away!!!!

Lorenzo Kopp

Mollash Campbell

Don’t even bother coming here, your only gonna be treated as just another patient. Too many staff not enough doctors, the staff seem like they don’t care and treat you as if Your here wasting there time ( that’s why your going to the hospital) I felt absolutely uncomfortable with every single staff not one of them treated me according to the pain I was feeling. If I could give this lees than 1 star I would.

Sanel K

Absolutely awful went in there for something simple as removing something that fell into my eye, the doctor doesn’t know what he was doing! paid the co pay and they billed the insurance for nothing just to get sent to the main Elliot hospital never going here again waste of money and time I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here ever again

Dominic Silecchia

The worst emergency room experience in history totally incompetent. Not one professional spoke to me in 3 and 1/2 hours just waiting to be evaluated if you advocate for yourself you get arrested the most horrible people I've ever dealt with in my life

mandykins Krist

Don’t believe them if they tell you over the phone you can make payments. They’ll agree and happily take your money every month then send it to collections to get more money out of you. Get it in writing! Unorganized billing department.

Jon Mitchell

The emergency department is not sized for the demands of the community. Cramped waiting room and long (multiple hours waiting) queue. No one seems to care, they are burnt out and stressed. People yelling and harassing staff, cops keep showing up. I am almost ready to see if one of the emergency vet clinics can see me at this rate.

Naomi Jeys

The nursing staff are mostly great people and are attentive. And then other times, they don’t answer call bells, turn off alarms, or take your requests seriously. Compassion fatigue has made the doctors here terrible. Dr. Raymon So is the worst doctor I’ve ever had. I had a pulled chest muscles from severe asthma, and he refused to give pain medication. I was up all night crying and wailing. This place is notorious for waking you up every hour on the hour for vitals; and don’t care how little amount of sleep you get, and they get realllll uppity if you happen to be in a sour mood because of it. There are quite a few catty nurses here. Don’t be surprised to hear your alarms going off alllllll night and no one will do anything about it, because they are too busy joking around VERY LOUDLY at the desk all night. And let the old people leave their TVs on all night. Another time, the nursing staff let a dementia patient scream ALL NIGHT for TWO DAYS. No one got any sleep. I have seen them ignore people in serious pain. But you know if it were them in the hospital, they would be demanding to be given the strongest drugs possible. Not child sized OxyContin. Except the old people, they dope them up to the gills so they don’t have to deal with it. They botched my gallbladder/ovarian surgery, and scared the hell out of me. Sent me home with no pain management. I had to spend extra money and time to see a pain management specialist to get proper treatment. Food here is okay, but they mess up the orders a lot. Like a lot a lot. I once got placed in a bed in ICU where they didn’t change the sheets before placing me in the bed. It had blood and various stains all over them. I asked them to change the sheets, and it took them several hours to do so. Overall, it’s the better of the two major hospitals in Manchester. But if a hotel charged this much and gave this level of service, it would get shut down.

Absolutely horrific experience there! I brought my daughter in who was experiencing kidney stones. On multiple occasions I walked up to the window begging them to see her because she was writhing in excruciating pain on the floor in the waiting area. They ignored my request. They told me there was nothing they could do. She vomited multiple times in their waiting room while onlookers watched her suffering. I asked him for pain meds to help her comfortably wait in the waiting room and they refused. One nurse did finally bring out a Zofran for her but that was literally all they did for her. We sat in the waiting room for four hours with not a single person helping her through the pain. Five minutes before she was called back and after they emptied out the entire waiting room and we were the last there, she passed the kidney stone on her own. When we got back to a room with a doctor his response was, “Well you don’t look like you’re in any pain now. There’s nothing we can do for you now.” He did offer her some pain meds if she wanted them just to be safe - whatever good that was going to do. Absolutely disgusted with the treatment we got at the Elliot Hospital emergency room. I will never ever bring my child back there! To be clear, my daughter was 18 so she did not qualify as pediatric. And then I got a bill....as if they did anything for her. Very very disappointed...and more, just angry. There was no need for that treatment whatsoever. Go to any other emergency room besides this one.

Jennifer Plourde

I wish I read these reviews before I brought my 14 month old daughter here for 4 hours!! She was diagnosed with the flu elsewhere and they told us to go to the ER due to possible dehydration and told us how serious it could be. We waited and waited and waited and watched other kids get seen as my daughter was crying in pain. I finally asked how much longer “yeah, time wise she is next, but someone more critical could come in”. And another hour passed. We finally decided to leave. Before we left one of the nurses said “If it helps, she is next to be seen time wise”. ???? nope, that doesn’t help at all. Don’t go. You’ll waste so much time! We went because the clinic we visited earlier recommended it for their pediatric center. Never again.

Bobbi B

Third world ER. Shortness of breath developed with flu. Londonderry annex to LAZY to initiate a breathing treatment before sending you to Manchester. Once in Manchester, 5 to 7 hour wait for treatment or admitting. Absolutely SHAMEFUL. Watched an ambulance driver take a child off stretcher and sit him down in waiting room. That was my 3hour mark. After seeing that, I left. SHAMEFUL!

All Dick'd Up (All Dick'd Up)

Rude piss poor service. Do not trust any of the services the offer or the billing. Nothing is correct.

Janet Forino

Worse place you want to be if you’re sick or injured. I had a head injury that was very painful, bled a little, headache, and feeling woozy. My primary care told me to go to the ER because I’d need a CT scan to check for a fracture. 4 hours later, I went home crying after the care that I DID NOT get from the ER doctor. He walked in the room and before examining me said that he was tired of seeing patients that should be seen by their physicians. When I asked him why my doctor would send me there if I didn’t need a CT scan, he gave me a lecture of how we live in America and it’s all about protecting ourselves and my doctor was protecting her liability by sending me to the ER. He also said if I wanted a CT scan, he’d order it and it was up to me. By this time, my headache intensified and I put my hand up and asked him to stop. He was talking so fast and confusing me as it was easy to do with my head hurting so badly. He said “I’m sorry I made your headache worse. Do you want me to order your some Tylenol before you leave?”. He also asked me when the last time I had a tetanus shot, I told him it’s been ages ago and he left it at that. Didn’t order a tetanus shot, didn’t tell me how to care for my injury when I go home, he was no help at all. Only thing I felt I was leaving with was abusive heath care because I was feeling worse at this point. I told the nurse how I was treated and she said it was because Elliot Hospital is making a big effort to instill that doctors see their patients before sending them to the ER so quickly. I asked her “so that’s how you instill this with doctors? Abuse their patients and don’t give them adequate care?” She didn’t have an answer for me.

Daughter needed a few tests, Doctor was good to my daughter in admitting the tests. Getting the results, O that's a another story call and was aggressively informed that my call would be forwarded to a voicemail (no mater what)and (someone) would call be back, I said I had already left and she very rudely said leave another. Still waiting, what a joke, how do you even know that someone is going to get you the result?

Terrible experience in this ER. The only reason we went to this hospital is because they have pediatrics in the ER. I googled this hospital on the way there and they have terrible reviews and I regretted why I still went there. Waited, waited and waited and we saw a nurse and she told us they were discharging another kid and we should have a bed within half an hour. But no bed in an hour after waiting for 3 hours in the waiting area. I wish I could give this negative 5 stars. Do not go to this ER, completely waist your time!

Grim Reaper23

Worst ER I've ever been to. Possibly I have a hernia and been waiting for 4 plus hours just for my name to be called for vitals not even caring about the massive pain I'm in. Great job!!

Caro D

I see Elliot orthopedic surgeons for both shoulder injuries and because I need my knee replaced. Dr. Mack operated on the through and through rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder, turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, two tears, the operation was a complete success, it's taken time, but with the wonderful care from Dr. Mack, Misha Sullivan and Theresa at the physical therapy center, I am almost at one hundred percent in my range of motion, outstanding for a 65 year old after this type of surgery. Every step of the way I have had excellent care, and they listened to me. All in all, a wonderful experience

Michelle Spadafora

My daughter who is 6 months pregnant arrived at the ER today at 1230. She had immediate EKG and bloodwork and sent to waiting area. She has still not been seen and the baby has not been checked. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. I have advised her to go anywhere else for future emergency care.

Tiffany Kagel

This is mixed and I will tell you it goes two ways. First the staff I saw were extremely nice, quick, and hard working. One older nurse was mean to everyone lol I guess you get them in each place. I never saw an MD just ODs which have a very similar background. There were too many patients it was elbow to elbow and no seats and you stand where you shouldn't. It was an over 10 hour wait with four people ahead of me for extremely bad chest pains. I never saw anyone qfther my labs were taken and I left to go home, read my charts, and doctored myself. What I can say is that they will rush to get labs done and this is good because if they like what they see you have to wait but that's good news for your health but they did prioritize the wrong people. One young girl in scrubs had minor symptoms and was taken back and never came back into the waiting room. Another man turned gray and was non responsive and they finally brought him back. I hope he is ok and that is unacceptable!!! I didn't feel safe there and I thought I heard gun shots when I was in my car. They have a ton of security and a couple of cops. There were some violent people who had to be escorted out of the ED. Its not a great walk without security if you park down the hill. Bring snack/food and clothes. So there were really good things about Elliot and also very bad factoids too. I hope if you have an emergency that you can be seen and treated.

Lily Reyes

Worse time of my life! Staff incompetent. My dad waited for 8 hours to be seen and the staff was hanging and fooling outside. No enough doctor and a bunch of staff who just add to the budget. I am going to file a claim for negligence. Please pay more, but don’t come here to suffer more.

My daughter was shifted to Elliot NICU as soon as she was born. The treatment was very good and specially nurses were so kind and took good care of my little one. All she needed was right treatment with love and affection and she got everything that’s needed. I was also taught on taking care of baby and it was very much useful when my cutie pie came home.

Sandria Savage

I think I am done with Elliot. Went to ER couldn't breathe severe asthma excerbation left in waiting room over an hour. Begged for a Neb was told gasping for breath that I had to wait. Tried to decide between driving and call 911 from a hospital parking lot which I told them this as I left. I drove to Catholic Medical Center. Now am so flared up looking at an ABG 1st time in life. I asked 3x for help couldn't complete sentences. I was told I had to wait wasn't even triage. I am a nurse and I will be reporting this. I am now being admitted now at CMC.

Michelle Husband

4hr wait so far and still waiting no up date no one keeping you informed just wait and wait and wait so more glad I'm not dieing I understand with covid wear buzy but what the heck

Justin Pond

Where do I start.... I was one of 5 people waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours before being seen. Then they sent me back to the waiting room for another hour. Brought me back to been seen by a doctor and my mom did a better diagnosis than the doctor did. I went in because I thought I had mumps and the doctor refused I had it when I suggested it. They kept me in "Rapid Care" in the back and let me tell you it was not even close to rapid. They might as well call it the "Rapidly forget about everyone in this room Care". They took my blood and came back 2 hours later and the doctor told me they're testing me for mumps. DUH...I have a baseball size swollen thing on the side of my face. Little to find out after the 6 hours I was there when I finally got to leave this dump they told me "Well we didn't know how to run tests on your blood for what you might have and we had to call the labs for them to tell us." Then...they told me they would call me the next day with results and I didn't hear from them so I called them and the lady told me it takes longer than 24 hours for this specific test. When I was there my phone was dead and I live out of state but go to school nearby and I didn't have my insurance card with me so they told me it wasn't problem and to just call the next day and they can update my insurance information before it goes to billing. So I called the next day and guess what...you're right they were wrong again. Now I have to wait to get the bill before I can update my insurance information. Not to mention the doctor I had was cocky and judgmental to every patient I had talked to in what they called "Rapid Care". Some of them have had him multiple times and requested not to ever see him again but they still did. It's a good thing my nurse was hot because that was the only positive experience I had at this dump hole they call a hospital. So shout out to Sierra for doing a stellar job drawing my blood and keep up the good work #Sierrathenurseforpresident. All of this being said I would have been better off on WebMD than going to this hospital.

Rachel Seward

I’ve never encountered a company that cares so little about their own employees until the Elliot Hospital. Ridiculous.

Morgan Van Lier

Miriam Maldonado

Wish I could give 0 stars. Place is terrible. Staff is rude, obnoxious and they don’t care about the patients. Terrible experience both times I have been there.

Jaydogg Doggydogg

Wish i could give zero stars for Elliot. I have had chronic pain for over a year. They can never figure out what it is and simply tell me to be on my way. I don't want pain pills. I don't want ANYTHING other than A DIAGNOSIS!! Do i have some strange Virus? Do i suffer from Cancer? Is there something wrong with me? I think they have chalked me up to a hypochondriac but this PAIN IS REAL!! Its a constant ache. It doesn't require any narcotics i have never requested them!! They treat me like that's what i want though and have no problem offering morphine like its candy, but i always refuse. Opiates make me sick. Maybe that's why they hate me? I refuse their opiates??? But im working hard to find out this mystery diagnosis. Its probably the Big C and all these incompetent doctors ignore my symptoms and try to push you out. Once i had to sit in a room FULL of other patients. Hearing one had an enlarged Spleen. The other had Chlamyida. Total violation of privacy. They deemed us "non-urgent" and placed us all in the same room. Very strange practice. ZERO STARS!

Kenneth Cournoyer

2 hour of waiting. Well i hear dDrs talk about rhere day thay have with the clerk. Wow #doyourjobs

Christine Govoni

Beware....and always get a second opinion. My son was taken there immediately after a sports injury - they completely mis-diagnosed and sent him home. 2 days later he had emergency surgery at Children's in Boston for a life threatening injury. I plan on notifying them of this as well in hopes this does not happen to anyone else.

Charlie Gendreau

I had my leg amputated a few months ago . The staff was very good about informing me throughout the whole process. I already have my prosthetic leg. They have helped tremendously with the quality of my life.

Christopher Mendez

I’ve been in several times and to be someone serving my country and giving my services to the flag. It was horrible once I was waiting 2 hours in the ER in uniform being a first supporter injured for 2 hours while people were getting front loaded, I was waiting on a patient for more than 1 hour and no one passed the information until I asked for it. To be a hospital it could use a lot of improvements and professionalism.

Libby Haidemenos

I just come Elliot hospital Manchester nh a week ago for my kidney surgery ,doctor and nurse they’re doing great work Thankyou Elliot hospital

Derek Muir

I looked at most of the reviews and said how bad can it be? O it’s bad we arrived at 5:30 pm emergency room at 9:30 still no visit from anyone other than vitals that were done at 6:30. We’re told their busy? I see a lot of doctors and nurses walking around talking, stay away this place is has these reviews for a reason already called into work tomorrow probably be here most of the night at this pace.

Took my son in for Covid positive related chest pain and problems breathing on the advice of urgent pcare doctor for possible admission to the hospital. He's asthmatic, had 103 temp, dizzy, and diarrhea. He said in a chair with other COVID patience for 4 hours. They did blood work and gave him Tylenol. He was getting worse and I called them because he texted me that he was not feeling well. We went home and when to Parkland. He has moderate pneumonia in both lungs. Never will go to this hospital again.

Kristen Charette

Bradley Couture

I'll keep it simple: if you come in at 2pm today don't plan to leave until 6am tomorrow morning...… if even that.

Emergency room is a joke so is the staff. The Med board for this hospital should look into how things are handle. Certain situation should take priority over someone having a stupid cough. If you Can Travel to Mass hospital because this one will NOT take you serious regardless how severe your condition is.

Brad Schrank

Been waiting since 12 now 532 keep being told we're next. Done with this place

Leroy Martin

If you are trying to live, dont go there. Been waiting to have an x-ray for 3 hours. I will never come back here. You could die in the waiting area. Also, they say they clean the rooms after each person, thats a lie. Rooms are so dirty you can see covid 19 in them. Stay alive and go somewhere else.

Hannah Lyn

I gave birth to my son here. Great doctors and nurses.

david kumar

Beern in the room for 4 hours. No checking on me other than radiology and registration. BP cuff not working - just keeps inflating. Hit the call button twice in the last 30 minutes- no visit to see how I'm doing Going to call the front desk to see if anyone can check on me!

Brendalie Marchand

The waiting is ridiculous. A doctor never see you, just an assistant and they just guessed.

Aillean Anaithnid

People who are complaining need to realize that an ER always takes patients by virtue of who’s condition is more urgent. Part of the problem is that people use the ER when it’s something they can go to a Walk-In clinic for. Waiting is not the fault of the staff. The professionals are making certain that the the very sick are getting the care they need to stay alive. If you don’t want to wait - go to a Walk-In Center and avoid use of the ER for things like cold. Or the flu. Not only do you get everyone around you sick, you add to the long wait for everyone else.

B

AWFUL. I went here for chest pains after being told by an urgent care doctor that I needed to go to the ER immediately. I waited over 5 hours and was never seen by any doctor. When I told the lady at the front desk I was leaving I was appalled that she told me it was my own fault for having to wait because everyone knows the ER is always busy on a Monday. First off who plans to go to the ER and 2nd who treats patients in this manner? I would NEVER recommend.

G

We come in at 12pm and we are here still they have a small waiting area and plus a small ed room they need to make a new hospital to help there patient's .

Susan bellt

Don’t go here if you care about your self

Nildariz Bracero

Worst place to go when sick. I've been in the waiting room for 4hrs in the er they suckk

Kelly Warren

If I could give this place and staff a ZERO, I would. Hours upon hours of waiting!! They are terrible. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!! There are people in the waiting area who have been waiting for 4 + hours.

Andrew Brum

Lori Milton

5 hour wait for a potentially life threatening issue? I'm not usually one to complain but this is absolutely ridiculous. My Dr sent me here after seeing her first. How many people use the ER as a regular Drs office?

Laura Dennison

I went to River’s Edge urgent care when the right side of my face suddenly drooped and the right side went numb. They told me to go to the ER for tests. At the ER, I got a bracelet and was seen within maybe 15 or 20 minutes and brought back to a room. From there I stayed overnight in the clinical decision unit, and the doctors, nurses, imaging techs, and LNAs were all so kind and helped me feel as calm as I could. They quickly got me MRIs, an EKG, labs, and a CT scan, and I got to see a neurologist in the morning. This hospital has really good record keeping and a really good online portal that makes it easy to view your labs and send them to other doctors. When I was there, I didn’t have a primary care doctor yet, and they even worked with me after to help send all the records over and coordinate follow-up care. ERs have got to be incredibly difficult places to work, and that it’s probably so easy to feel burnt out. I was so grateful for the dignity the staff treated me with, the speed of their care, and their thorough investigation to try to find out what happened. They made a really terrible, scary day of my life as OK as it could be. I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me that weekend!

Ed Smith

If I could give this hospital no stars I would. Went in for an urgent care visit, which they determined I should come in for my issue. When I was there, all of 25 minutes, they ran one lab and then sent me home saying if the issue persists to come back. Well it came back but I went to my regular doctor, same Elliot hospital network, and they ran the same lab again. The issue went away on it's own by itself a few days later and then the bill came. It was over 800 dollars for two 25 minute visits and two labs! I couldn't believe it, and of course their financial assistance dept isn't at all helpful as they asked me if I wanted to pay everything off at once but offered absolutely no assistance as I stated I was laid off due to covid-19. Nope, they wanted all the money up front for everything. It made me sick to my stomach the lack of empathy shown from a place that is around to help people. In my case, they did not do anything for me, neither labs bore any fruit, I got a huge bill, and the issue ended up going away on it's own without their intervention. To me, the price was ridiculous and the fact that they did nothing for me has me feeling like they are just crooks who care only about getting paid rather than solving medical issues. I'd stay as far away from this place as humanly possible!

Susan Thiboult

Sebastian Gaglione

Went to the ER and needed emergency surgery to remove my appendix. Nurses are awesome, know their stuff, and are even joking with what is going on right now. Doctors very reassuring and got me in and out the SAME day! Thank you for all you do, and for all those that complain, I thank you for how you deal with that was well. Thank you during these very difficult times.

Denise Penta

Jeremy Bamford

Arrived with my girlfriend due to complications during pregnancy and were seen right away. The staff was incredibly friendly, quick, and helpful. Dr. Brandon and Nurse Kathleen were amazing and really helped us during a stressful time. We were nervous coming to a hospital where we didn't know anyone and everyone made us feel right at home. Would not have any concerns about delivering here!

Michele Juza

Brought my 81 year old mother in by ambulance due to extreme dehydration among other issues. Upon arrival was asked to get off the stretcher, sit in a chair and lab work drawn. She was then asked to sit in the waiting room. Imagine how surprised I was to see mom in her robe walking very unsteadily due to dizziness all by herself to come sit in the waiting room. We waited for over three hours until she was called. By now she is exhausted and lethargic. After being admitted, the staff were all very nice, but the care I was trained to provide never happened. She was never offered a wash cloth and towel to wash up for her whole stay. No one ever straightened or changed her linen, never saw a housekeeper, and items on her bedside table sat there for the entire day. What has happened to the Elliot?

JJ G

Okay so realistically most emergency rooms take hours. The reason I have three stars because the Doctor, surgeons I had were awesome! Out of all the nurses two were professional, attentive and very kind. The other nurses forget it. Lazy and wanted to be praised just for their title! I was on the surgical floor and I have to say alot of those nurses need to be retrained. The LNAs were great and very attentive/ helpful. It's sad to see and hear when nurses can't help you out of bed and have to wait for an LNA for that. Nurses just talking in the halls about random stuff well your call light is on for help. Three stars for all the medical staff who were kind, attentive and caring. Too bad 60percent of nurses are just TERRIBLE. So if you can ignore that and get your surgery done do it. I was lucky enough to have a great nurse after my surgery to take care of me and not neglect me. Yes you will be waiting in the emergency room for a while.

Nicole Snow

Worst ED anyone can go to. The unprofessional and lack of regard to their parents is off the charts. I would never recommend and living species to every go there for treatment.

Shannon Thomas

Learn about this horrible place before going! Horrible service at Elliot please do you research before placing loved one here. They treated our loved one for days on year old documents stole her food ,mistreated our family member and disrespected out enire family as a form of discrimination. Valling ceo they woyld allow me to talk with them or my loved ones nurse( I'm poa &HCP) Social service department Stephanie and Melissa HAVE NOOOOOOO SOCIAL SERVICE SKILLS TO WORK WITH elderly FAMILYIES, THEY DISCHARGED HER STOLE HER FEEDINGS THEN SAID YHEY ATE SENDING HER TO THE ONLY PLACE THATVWAS AVAILABLE IN THREE TRIPS , E ONLY TO HAVE TO BE SRNT OUT AGAIN FOR ANOTHER HOUR DRIVE OVER AN HOUR SENT HER TO A FACILITY WHO WASNT PREPATED FOR HER ARRIVAL. SO THEY HAD TO SEND HER BACK AGAIN BECAUSE ELLIOT SCREWED UP EVERYTHING FOR DISVHARGE INCLUDING NOT FEEDING HER OR GIVING HER MEDS AND SHE HAS SEIZURES .NEVER USE THIS PLACE. IM POSTING THIS AND CREATING FLYERS TO ADVERTIZE THIS NEGLECT AND THEFT AND MALPRACTICE FOR OTHERS TO BE aware OF THIS HORRIBLE horrible ELLIOTT PLACE THEY CALL A HOSPITAL THE STATE SHOULD SHUT THIS PLACR DOWN!!! ASAP! DONT SRND YOUR LOGED ONE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEM... I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH DO YOUR RESEARCH PLEASE!!!!

Ashley Porter

In the NICU, babies cry with no attention from nurses for quite a while. Don't even think about showering without your belongings, people or nurses tend to go through your things and when you ask about it, no one knows who was in the room or what happened. Short staffed in NICU and over hauled with babies who need tending. If you have a child here, please make sure you have the ample amount of time to spend there, to get your baby home as soon as they're healthy!

Katy Bernard

I love Elliott Hospital. I want to say that, but, I was sent to the ER from urgent care in Londonderry NH. I was having pain due to a diverticulitis attack. After checking in, I was told to wait in the " waiting room". Are you kidding? No social distancing. This is a hospital ER. Aren't there protocols for covid? Needless to say, I didn't stay. I didn't feel safe. I went elsewhere for treatment. Shame on you Elliott ER. DISAPPOINTED

James Estrada

The nurses and staff were very polite and very overwhelmed so ty to the hospital staff for what they dothats the only reason I gave 2 stars or it would have been zero I was there for hours for what I thought mite be blood pressure problem after a few hrs I decided to leave I was very uncomfortable due to the fact people who were there for covid test and symptoms and people who are there for issues like I had are all sitting in the same small waiting room I'm sorry I believe the hospital should try to separate the patients with covid symptoms should be separated from the patients that are there for other reasons so there is no chance of spreading this horrific virus I will say it looked like everyone was wearing a mask this is not a big waiting room and there was alot of people waiting for covid test and they the patients were talking about that fact they were there do to covid issues that made me get out and just deal with what is going on with me my visit was the day of this post Worst hospital I have ever been to in my life

Abby H

I would give this hospital negative stars. I brought my friend here around midnight and I have been here for over 3 hours and it’s adding. I asked the wait time and the nurse told me that there were worse people off then my friend and multiple people overheard the conversation and soon after 3 people who were waiting longer then us left. One woman who left had appendix problems. There is a woman who made a bed out of chairs. The nurses are extremely rude, the wait time is terrible, if you have a serious problem DO NOT come to this hospital. You won’t get help and the nurses will talk sh*t about you.

NasTe Ronin

I don't know about the staff. I am sure they're great, but I haven't seen them yet. Wait times can be long but it is a nice hospital and it's been there a long time.

Laura Parsons-Marchione

Safe practices are in place for COVID, Staff is awesome-patient, friendly, attentive, caring-everything you would expect/want having to go to hospital. Food was not bad either....

Ophelia Cummings

Waited from 6:50-8:45pm just to be called in to intake, only to be told that he was fine and to go home and follow up with the pediatrician on Monday.

Miss B Jeffries

????????very sad ,needless to say the review talk for it self

This place is a joke. STAY AWAY!!!! Wait Times for the ER are outrageous. The nurses lie and say you will be seen right away. That's accurate if right away means 4 hours later.

Philip Allen

They were extremely slow and unresponsive. This visit took 7 hours for a damn ultrasound only to be told that nothing could be seen and we should follow up with PCP. This was very poor quality of care.

Gap fam

Had my second baby at the Elliot and got excellent medical care. From all my nurses labor and delivery and recovery to doctors and anesthesiologist everyone was terrific. Thank you for such a great birth experience.

Karen Parsons

The worst hospital in N.H I will never ever use that place again I got charged 12, 464.30 to ONLY BE CHARGE OBSERVATIONS SITTING IN A WAITING ROOM FROM 9 TO 2 N GETTING. IN A BED TO ONLY GET TOLD ONLY ONE DOCTOR IS ON AND AGAIN BE CHARGED OBSERVATION!! WHEN I SAW NO NURSE OR DOCTOR!!! TILL 7AM AND ASKED IF I WANTED FETANAL!!! THATS !!! HORRIBLE CARE!!!! 9 hours waiting after I was told it wouldn't take long. Watching plenty of other people leaving without treatment or complaining about the service. I was surprised to see that I was right as pretty much every other review is negative. Maybe time to get a new Dept Manager.

Alexias Brasfield

To call my experience unpleasant would be an understatement. I didn't feel welcomed upon my arrival and the receptionist was extremely rude and uninviting. After having my vitals taken I sat in the waiting room for close to five hours without any updates. When asked for an estimate for when my lab results would be ready the receptionist failed to provide any updates. Despite my lab results being ready (Per MyChart data) no one one kept me updated and I never met with a physician. After approaching the 6th hour I left as I had just worked an 11 hour shift that day. Additionally after reporting that I was having pain in my lower abdominen I was not given a urine analysis which should be standard procedure. I had to follow up at ConvenientMD which was a much better experience. Highly recommended. Please avoid this place by all means as they are not very concerned with the well being of their patients.

Surgical Technician openly advocating against the usage of masks to protect against COVID-19. What is the meaning behind this? Reading between the lines, I see a person who openly does not care about doing the right thing during this pandemic then going to work the next day standing around vulnerable patients that are being operated on. Given this hospitals horrible rating, next to their nurses openly protesting against the mask mandates/vaccination is absolutely horrendous and something needs to be done. Sad to see this happening while also knowing so many people who’s lives were affected from this virus. Shame on Elliot Hospital for allowing this behavior.

Connor Phelps

Probably the worst hospital and urgent care I’ve ever been to. They required a second referral to get paid by my insurance agency but never told me about it OR my insurance company. I had to call them for them to then tell me they were sorry they forgot to tell me about the additional referrals. They also billed me twice for the same service and somehow had to triple check their system that I paid my copay when I first went. 100% do NOT recommend.

Lori Bryan

As I sit here on my 5th hour if I could give minus 5 stars I would. Now on hour 7 and have realized that no one has cleaned the restrooms that the people in the waiting room use and yes they are gross. Would say something to the front desk girl but she would probably yell at me again like whe I asked how much longer. On hour 9.

I was taken in by ambulance today and I can not say enough good things about my care and treatment , my nurse Jay was awesome kept me in the loop on everything that he / they where doing and was out of here in a few hours . keep up the good work Jay and the whole Elliot staff .

I recently took my baby here because I thought she was having drop seizures. The nurses and intake process was great and we were taken right in which was a plus. When the ER doctor came in, he essentially asks me “Do you even know what seizures look like?” And told me to “stay off the internet, stay off of Facebook groups.” He also decided it was his job to start talking about politics “...that’s what happened in the last election, people trusted Facebook instead of the news.” We followed up with a neurologist the next day, and it turns out my daughter could have a very serious emergency condition that if not caught has a very poor prognosis. Imagine if I actually trusted doctors and took the ER doctor’s word, brushing off something that could be potentially serious for our daughter? Shaking my head.

marcus sharp

the wait in the ER was 7 hours for me. and when i finally got in only 2/6 nurses/doctors/staff were nice. i got an iv drip and the nurse benjamin who put it in seemed so annoyed to even be doing it, and was not concerned about how he put it in or if it was comfortable/painful. then proceeded to gossip about pay to other staff like patients can’t hear. not happy won’t be returning.

Alex B

I got my jaw surgery here two days ago. Everyone involved with the surgery was competent, efficient, and kind. From the anesthetist (anesthesiologist?) to the doctor, to my wonderful nurses, to the lunch lady, and the clean up crew. They made this surgery as painless as it could be. I have to say I noticed some people gave this hospital 1 star. I think that it might be possible that those patients are comparing this hospital to a utopian hospital where everyone is immediately taken care of no matter what. Caretakers are always trying their best and sometimes they can't help you or your loved one first. Bottom line, I highly recommend the Elliot and its staff.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I brought my daughter in because she has a life threatening condition. She was in agony and had to wait 4 hours until I finally gave up and had to go to another hospital. When I asked about how they manage their list of patients they said it was by priority so apparently my daughter who has a life threatening condition is a low priority. I will NEVER come here again.

Rebecca Caron

If I could give negative few views I altars I world wAited over 5 g Hours never got called in abs I was on the floor rocking and crying loud in severe pain. This place isn’t fit for pets let alone people and was the equivalent of a torture camp. Went to cmc abs the nurses I. Triage were SO MUCH BETTER DO NOT GO HERE.

Lisa Villacorta

If I could give a negative star I would. My husband went to er at 4pm per orders from his PCP to get a CT scan for severe pain in lower right stomach. PCP thought it might be appendicitis and wanted results asap. Even called ahead to er to set it all up. He was triaged at 7pm then sent back to lobby awaiting CT scan to be done. While in lobby waiting at least 6 people left because they waited over 8 hours for test results and got none. He finally got called for his CT scan at 12:30am. Over 8 hours later. This place is a joke. Definitely no COVID precautions in place while waiting. Packed like sardines. Do not go here.

What exceptional care was given to my wife who was under treatment for a stroke. Nurses Riley, Stacie, Rachel and Krystal along with their assistants was outstanding. Their concern and care extended to our entire family and made us as comfortable as possible. The small mementos prepared by Stacie as well as the hand made shawl made by the Elliot Hospital Associates will be treasured for years.

Was brought to the er on 10/21 for sepsis by amr as a status 1 patient I was brought in at 1130 pm running a fever of 102.6 difficulty breathing, tachycardic and waited on the ambulance stretcher for twenty minutes then was transferred to a wheel chair and brought to waiting room it is now three thirty am sepsis kills fast we will get you in a room very soon this hospitals level of patient care has rapidly gone from ok to absolutely horrible a young lady was miscarrying and she has sat in the waiting room since 8 pm Elliot either figure a way to treat the people seeking medical equipment or shut your doors permanently what a joke so many patients including a possible stroke have just walked out thanks for the lack of medical care

Tyler Sanborn

My son was admitted to the NICU shortly after birth (at a different hospital) for complications. My wife and I couldn't thank the staff of Elliot hospitals NICU enough for everything they did for us. They made sure they did everything they could to help and make a stressful situation better. We highly recommend them.

Regina Marie Sanders

Once again the Elliot ER makes us wait over four hours to see a provider. If there are not enough providers in house call in another provider. Figure it out and put the patients first and the budget second. Thank God for the nurses and support staff that tried to make my daughter a priority. When your nurse tells you the provider will be in any minute at 3:39am but that provider doesn't show up until 5:01am there is miscommunication or the provider is just trying to get the nurse to leave them alone and saying what they want to hear. The worst. Avoid this place at all costs. They provided me no help forced a bunch of blood tests and things on me I didn't want and now are trying to stick me with a $3,500 bill when they made my situation worse.

Awful experience, staff works with no sense of urgency

Apollonias Overbite

I spent the evening here with my sister and her infant son. The staff: Dr Emily, Nurse Nathaniel, and the EKG technicians (sorry I didn't grab your names!) were patient, compassionate, kind, and considerate of my sister and the baby. They put us in a room with dimmed lights and a door that blocked out noise--what a great, appreciated touch for my exhausted sister and screaming infant. They made sure to explain everything they were doing and why. They took their time to REALLY listen to my sister's experiences with her baby rather than dismiss her with "we know best--we are the medical professionals!" They took their time to answer her questions and never rushed her or made her or her poor suffering baby feel like they were an inconvenience. Thanks for the patient-centered care, guys. We appreciate your hard work and true care.

Very poor services experienced by a family member who was was seen recently. A nurse lies to the patient that the provider seeing him has left and on insisting, she brings the same doctor in for clarifications on his exams. Nurse takes oxygen Sats reading 96%and writes 100% in records. Nurse walks into the room and administrators IV injection without explaining to the patient or even telling him what meds she was giving or even without asking about allergies. This was a sick client who was too fatigued to advocate for himself. Furthermore he is a nurse who understands this things but was seen alone at the time. It's very unfortunate.

Tatjana Austin

Came from urgent care to do ultrasound on a leg, 3 1/2 hours in a waiting room and another 2 hrs to be seen by the doctor, another 1 hr for ultrasound person to show up. Yet million and one nurse, assistant, etc working. No sense of urgency, longer they keep you, more $ they make off of you. This hospital no longer runs properly. It feels like how hospitals ran in third world countries and communism. Unless you are on a dying bed, don't go to Elliot Hospital.

danielle berry

6 hour wait time, nicely asked the young man at the window for a ETA to be seen... his reply “you have 5 people ahead of you”... I understand this is a emergency room, but this establishment is completely unorganized, and has a complete lack of professionalism...More security guards working than Dr.s and nurses... at least 10 walkouts while I was waiting. Get it together Elliot, this is Flu season!

mr mister

WORST HOSPITAL EVER !! Was referred here by the VA for upper Endoscopy diagnosing acid reflux. The original consult was fine, the Nurse instructed to call back to get a date for my procedure. I called 3x within 10 days and left messages. NO CALL BACK! NOTHING! Informed the VA what happened and they immediately found me another hospital. STAY AWAY FROM HERE !! L@@K at their rating...........it matters!

Cameron Joyce

Sorry excuse for a hospital girls been waiting 4 hours throwing up in the waiting room bathroom waiting to be seen for alcohol poisoning. Absolutely pathetic. Should have just left.

Jennifer Robinson

Some of the staff have no manners. They genuinely don’t care about people who come in. Seem to automatically assume people with life threatening symptoms must be on drugs because they want to brush it off and carry on with their night after only three different tests show no results. Going here probably has and probably will cost many people their life. I don’t recommend at all.

Brise Angel

They don’t care for their patients u have to wait and wait for hrs

Caryssa Propfe

I had an awful experience here. I was having panic attacks due to pain and stress, and the nurse as well as the tech were very rude to me, saying things like “this is a very busy hospital and you need to just calm down”. When they took blood it was extremely painful, and there Was bruising, but when I said something, they just seemed frustrated and walked out without a word. They had terrible bedside manner, and were very rough with me when doing things like giving medication or checking my temperature. They had nasty attitudes and I’m really glad I was able to go to a different hospital for the rest of my care.

Waited for 4.5 hours for my one year old and NEVER got seen!!! Worst emergency room EVER!!!

George Dovas

My sister, my girlfriend and I took my 86-year-old mother to the ER. We spent over 13 hrs there. It was the worst experience I ever saw. Very disorganized, no system just poor all around. The reception staff was rude and curt. Some patents left because of the wait times. It was horrific and hectic. It was like being in a 4th rate country. I looked around and saw people suffering and distraught. The hospital should be ashamed at their delivery of services or lack of. I am appalled at the service and lack of professionalism. This hospital doesn’t deserve even one star.

So before I went for my surgery, I was home waiting until it was time. I went online looking for the contact number of Elliot. I just had a question I wanted to ask if I could have sugar in my coffee. And I saw the reviews. I couldn't believe how bad and low the reviews were. I felt a little disappointed because here I am about to have surgery in a few hours. I just didn't know what to expect. So.. fast forwarding the time, I went in with my husband. When I got to the ICU waiting area I guess the receptionist could tell I was a little nervous. My husband was doing most of the talking for me. And she looks at me and assured me that everything was going to be fine and that the team there is a a very good team, and they're going to make sure I'm well taken care of. She said it with such assurance and warmth that I believed her. So at this very moment I'm writing this from my recovery room. I had the surgery yesterday and yes I'm in pain but it's part of recovery. needless to say that receptionist kept good on her words. My experience here has been so far really good. The nurses, Dr's and all the staff I came across with were excellent. I was well taken care of especially during my stay here last night. They treated so nice. They were so sweet. I just finished eating the breakfast I ordered from here, and even my husband said, you know what? They were right, the food here is really good. And he's kind of a pocket eater. I'm going to rest now but before I do, I want to say.. If you're visiting this hospital especially after reading the other reviews, come in here with an open mind and don't expect the worse. Have your own experience. I'm not saying that they're reviews aren't true. But sometimes people are already annoyed for some other reason, (life possibly) everything or anyone they might come across is already blah I guess. Or maybe even one of the staff, I don't know but they're people too, and we all go through things that life brings. But for whatever reason for the dissatisfied reviews ,their experience is theirs. Thanks

I was taken by ambulance to Elliott ER to be checked for a possible stroke. Upon arrival, I was put in a wheel chair and sent to the waiting room. An hour and half later I was triage and returned to the waiting room. I inquired twice about the wait and the young woman was very rude and cold. Ten hours later I was finally brought into a room to be seen. Horrible ER service!!!

Selena S.

Not sure what happened to this ED but the new staff are horrible. The checkin in for ED is just some judgemental lady that has no etiquette nor customer service skills. She looks at you without asking what brought you in. She turned off her mic and was talking about us not even aware we could still hear her. Seems they don't train staff. The doctor my daughter got, Dr. Brown looked confused the whole time like he didn't understand or know if what he was doing was accurate. Next time we will go the extra mile to cmc at least they would have done a chest xray to make sure she doesn't have pneumonia. Should have known the last time I came here I had anemia and almost lost my life. They should have caught this considering they withdrew blood and told me my blood count was down. I decided to go to CMC because I felt even worse and they gave me the care I needed. This hospital has definitely gone down hill within the past 4 years.

Heloiza Manhoni

Elliot has the Best NICU and maternity ward around. Spent a few weeks at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and a few days at Boston Childrens, but the Elliot nicu was superb! The medical team are so proactive! The nurses are the sweetest.

Bill Dufton

My wife waited 6 1/2 hours before she was seen. That is unacceptable

Janessa Roberts

I had the most positive experience at Elliot Hospital! My hats off to Dr. Hogan my orthopedist, the nurses, and all the staff in the OR. I currently was admitted for a total hip replacement and was treated with respect and dignity and the most excellent care. I realize that constructive criticism is something that we all learn from but I have not one single complaint about my stay at the hospital. I was greeted from the receptionist, to everybody in pre-op and all the nurses with nothing but smiles and positive attitudes. I truly was amazed because I’ve had many stays at many different hospitals and this was by far my favorite. It’s a tough surgery and they made my experience an excellent one. Thank you to everyone your time and patience and compassion. It is appreciated more than you’ll ever know! Best regards, Janessa Bielawski

Marshaun Mason

We've been here since 11 pm and have yet to be seen. They did triage and then we've been sitting here ever since. I have NEVER in my life spent almost half a day just sitting in an emergency room waiting to be seen. It's so ridiculous that SEVERAL people have walked out during the night and we're still waiting. There's a U.S. veteran that's been here since 930pm and hasn't been seen either. I will not be coming back here for service unless forced to and I don't recommend you do either.

Margaret Becirevic

Brought in a family member they thought was having a heart attack and waited about 5 hours to see a doctor. A girl with a bleeding head wound has been waiting over 2 hours. A sobbing woman fell out of a wheelchair onto the floor and after a bunch of us told the nurse to do something it took 3 minutes for them to even go over to her. 1 man is still waiting over 10 hours. This lack of care is inexcusable and negligent.

Janice arel

My mom went in by ambulance today October 7th 2021 to the Elliot hospital emergency room . she is a stage 4 cancer patient . age 90. Weak. Frail. Once she arrived was put in a wheelchair and put in the lobby with everyone else covid positive people. She was triage 3 hours later so 3pm and put back in the lobby . she h a d blood work at 430 pm . by 7pm she still was not in a room or seen by anyone we left as she needed meds food . I would say the worst experience for anyone who goes there there is no value to your life at this hospital . Manchester . NH

I really don't understand the E.R at Elliot. I get they're dealing with a big city and have overwhelming problems they need to deal with. But when you have people who have serious life threatening issues, who are waiting 4-8 hours to get treated why is there not a better system set up so that people get help when they need it. I knew someone who had to wait 9 hours, while people with colds were sitting there, who shouldn’t have been there in the first place. If you need to go to the E.R because your sent from Urgent Care to have an ultrasound/blood work done for a serious issue that could be life threatening because they can’t do it, why is there not an area set up for those people? More importantly, why isn’t U.C not able to handle that? That was the point of opening up U.C was to take the pressure off the E.R. Elliott Hospital has fail this city in implanting a better system of care. People have died because of the lack of care in this hospital. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here. I don’t know if CMC is any better, but I certainly don’t hear horror stories from them like I do of Elliot. I would be really afraid of having any major treatment here.

Wife went to parkland with intense stomach pain, was told it was muscle spasms and anxiety and to relax, charged 15k. Came here less than a week later for same symptoms and within 2 hours they found out she had a gallstone causing issues with her liver, cost less than 1/10th for diagnosis and gall stone removal.

Benjamin Williams

Waiting over 4 hours still waiting while nurses sit ignoring the people waiting when needing things

thomas dutil

1:30pm waiting room is full.this is our 2nd visit in 3 years 8 hours last time.will go to exter from now on

American Shaman

This place sucks , hours and hours and hours and hours of watching the staff sit on there asses doing nothing these people are lazy and don’t give a crap if u wanna die of old age before getting care this is the place to go . Believe it or not your way better off going to parkland in Derry nh they are so much faster and they actually move with a purpose , if they can’t fix u they will send u to Boston . So no need to go to Elliot’s slum hole emergency room , as far as a business goes they should be ashamed they could actually make some money if they could treat the patients before they died in the waiting room .

Nana NH

The 5 star is for the way they handled my granddaughter, but I do agree on all these reviews the wait time is unacceptable. The bathrooms where gross not cleaned or stocked, I think there is not enough beds available in this ER as they transition with construction but they do need to be a more friendly to the patients and relatives :) overall pediatrics ER is amazing!! the staff and doctor thank you for everything!

Jake Vafides

I spent 8hrs in the waiting room and never even saw a doctor. I went to the Elliot Emergency room at 1pm on a Friday for severe abdominal pain in the area of my appendix, nausea, vomiting, and fever. It was hours until they even took my information and vitals. Around 5 or 6pm, after telling the front desk my pain was increasing and I still had a fever, they told me I still had 10 people in front of me. Then a couple hours later they told me I had 11 people ahead of me (???). I left at 9pm, never being seen by a doctor, and went to Parkland in Derry. Within an hour at Parkland I was in a room, IV and antibiotics hooked up, blood work and CT scan done, and diagnosed with perforated appendicitis. This was my first time ever at the Elliot and it is the last.

Over the wonderful two weeks I've been stuck in this facility I have had 4 Pneumothorax's, 3 separate chest tubes in 3 separate sites, and surgery to remove air filled blisters from the surface of my lung. Most recently I have had talc powder injected directly into my chest cavity for the purpose of scarring my lung and chest cavity and causing the two to adhere together. The standard pain control method for these operations is a bedside morphine pump to address the excruciating levels of pain that are expected. However as a 23 year old male I'm at a high risk for opiate addiction and am instead being given oral tablets that are well documented to be ineffective. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who would like to be treated like a convicted felon by surgeons and physicians alike while also paying them upwards of $1500 a day. The so called "Patient Advocacy Program" is an absolute joke as they are unable to do anything to supersede the surgeons discretion. I have spoken with the American Lung Association who have assured me that what is being done to me is tantamount to literal torture. I have never felt this helpless in my life and the source of my distress is a medical professional who blatantly refuses to give me the only medication that works. If I could give this facility 0 stars it would be infinitely too many I would rather stitch myself up then ever set foot through these doors again.

Worst hospital ever waited 3 hours with a leg fracture. Ended up giving my bracelet back to the reception and dragged my leg to another hospital never again people laying on the floor try walking around them very unorganized .... never again

I would give it a zero but it’s not an option! My step sons mother just got her leg amputated she is not with it yet any means and in so much pain they did the surgery 4 days ago and released her today with nothing no game plan for rehab no assistance what so ever ! I’m am going to make sure this gets out to the public as I was told she was not going to be released but they did it any way! In real you are medical professionals that are bonded to care for all patients and you failed miserably how dare you!!!

DO NOT GO HERE, MY WIFE WAS BROUGHT HERE BY AMBULANCE AND THEY DRAGED HER TO THE WAITING ROOM AND LEFT HER THERE. THERE ATTITUDE IS YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM. I am calling the state and filing a complaint. Dont believe the fake 5 star reviews. I was seen buy gastroenterology here as well for a autoimmune disorder, and when I told them I could not afford 800 a month for medication I was told to "figure it out". I can understand having to wait long periods in a ER but EVERYTIME I have been there for the ER its been hours. Find another hospital

Kevin Rondeau

I was treated very unprofessionally by the staff at the Oral Surgery Department. First, I was asked to sign three separate times on an electronic pad and not allowed to review the electronic documents. I was also not provided with a copy of these documents. I was not asked to provide my NH Medicaid information in order to ensure proper billing to ,my insurance. This will very likely cause me to be wrongfully billed instead. My six year old needs surgery. She was seen on the 12 of August, 2019. As of today (08/30/2019) she has not been scheduled for surgery. Last, I have telephoned the department for over two weeks to express these concerns but they have refused to answer their phone. This is completely unacceptable.

A Dawn Toothaker

Absolutely horrible wait times in ER and they could care less.

James Quinn

Waiting for hours...over 6 just to get an ct scan and the results....was transfered here from the VA....THIS IS THE MOST ABSURD HOSPITAL IVE EVER BEEN IN.

If I could give less then one star I would this place is a joke got taken in by ambulance waited over 4 hours never saw a Dr so done with this place

I had a very positive experience at Elliot Hospital Emergency room. My treatment was fast and the vibe there was very positive. This will always be my go to place for emergency care. Kudo's to all the staff.

I delivered my daughter here July 2019, I am so happy I did! That experience was life changing!!! She ended up in the NICU for 6 days, they were so kind to treat us the way they did. Informative, on time, friendly! I will never thank the Elliot NICU enough for the way they treated our little girl, Harper Louise! The entire team! In July 2020, I ended up back at the hospital with gallstones... This time I came via ambulance! I did not have a fun time in the ER... sadly the nurse I had, made too many assumptions. I could tell she thought I was faking the pain, it felt like contractions... I was moaning. Luckily they got me down to ultrasound quickly, my husband by my side by that time! Ultrasound tech was very nice, as well as the doctors & surgeons I came into contact with! Due to Covid-19 I was upstairs on the pediatrics unit (empty floor!) peaceful & quiet for a full 5-6 days! Yes, Elliot thank you for that! Then, come September.. my daughter had a fever of 104, I chose Elliot! They have a special Pediatrics ED.. She had a UTI. We were in&out, quicker than any hospital.. She did throw up last minute due to the meds & the infection.. They gave us the option to stay or wait an hour to see how she is doing.. I couldn’t thank the Elliot enough! People should really know to go here! I will for now on keeping Elliot my main hospital!

We took my son there on two separate occasions- both times at the urging of an on-call nurse/doctor with our pediatrician. At six months old, our son had RSV, pneumonia, and a double ear infection. They gave us ibuprofen, told us to come back if things got worse, and sent us home. They had already gotten worse- which is why we were there. At fifteen months old, our son had a fever for four days. On the weekend, his fever broke, but he still wouldn't eat, wasn't balanced, and wouldn't stop screaming. After explaining our situation five different times, to five different people, two doctors looked him over and said he was upset because he had a sore throat. He was actively developing a rash while we were at the ER, but the doctors said they weren't worried about it. They gave him ibuprofen (after listening to him scream for 4 hours between the waiting room and the room they took him to) and sent us home. Once again, they told me to come back if it got worse. I actually laughed at them. If we ever need to take our son to an ER again, we will just drive to Boston. This is ridiculous. One quick google search explained that his rash was Roseola- one of the six most common ailments of kids his age. Instead of relieving my concerns, they implied that it could get worse and gave me no resolution. When I asked about the ibuprofen dosage, I was given units of measurement that mean absolutely nothing to me, are not on any of the syringes I have at home, and are not easily convertible.

Wait time is absolutely horrendous.

If anybody is going to have their children here I highly recommend it! My fiancé and I welcomed our little bundle of joy into the world on 20th and I just wanted to say how truly amazing these people are! They make you feel so comfortable during your labor delivery and maternity journey. ❤️

Sarah Gaertner

Some of the nurses were pleasant, but my experience at this ER was overall terrible. At least 4 hours of waiting, during which another patient came up to the window complaining that he felt like he was ready to collapse. He was sent away, and less than a minute later someone else came up to report that he was on the floor in pain. Was finally seen by a doctor who told me "you don't look like you're having trouble breathing." Next time I'll go to my cat's vet.

The treatment I received at the Elliot ER was Second to None. I felt absolutely cared for. A special shout out to Nurse Stacey for her bedside manner and kind words of encouragement. I felt like a real person rather than a number attached to an insurance contract. I sincerely hope the staff in the ER at the Elliot Hospital are blessed and highly favored moving forward as they continue to care for people in need :)

My fiancé had to have a minor surgery at Elliot Hospital. She needed teeth extraction and due to her medications her dentist felt it was necessary to have it done in a hospital with an operating room. She went to a preliminary appointment well I’m advance to deal with everything that needed to be done prior to the surgery. Well on the day of the surgery they brought her to what we thought was an operating room. Around the time we thought they would be finished they informed us that they couldn’t preform the procedure in a dentist chair and would have to reschedule so they could do it in an operating room. So we once planned her surgery. This time in an operating room. The appointment was scheduled for noon time. We were asked to come in an hour and a half ahead 1030 am. That morning we were asked to come in yet another hour early 930 am because they had changed the surgery to 11am. We rushed around all morning and just barely made it at 930 am. At that point they brought her in and hooked her up to an IV. We waited patiently for 2 and a half hours. Around noon time we asked when her surgery was. They said it was scheduled for 1245. After producing paper documents from the hospital and playing a voice message the hospital had left that morning they admitted to lying and claimed that a different operation had run 1 hour and 45 minutes past schedule. They assured us that at 1245 her procedure would finally begin. The time now is 117 pm and the last nurse told her it was still too soon to give her anything to calm her down so now more than 2 hours and 15 minutes after scheduled surgery they are not even close to ready to move her. If we could give 0 stars we would

Marc Laprise

We came to emergency room via ambulance with my father.. No one actually in waiting room. Took over an hour before we saw a doctor . That was at around 8 this morning. It is 3:30 now and have been waiting for a room. We were told room was ready about 30 min ago and still waiting.

Heather Bell

Great experience in the Pediatric ER. Dr. Roy was awesome and the nurses Casey and Colleen were pros. IV inserted on the first try.

I am so mad that there isn’t a word to describe the level of how mad I am. My infant had to wait over 6 hours to be seen in the ER. We asked the paramedic that was registering us “is the ER busy tonight?” he said “not really”. We were relieved to hear that, thinking she wouldn’t have to wait too long. She had a severe stomach virus, fever a little over 104, very weak, did not have a wet diaper for hours … we’ve never seen an adult vomit the amount our infant produced. She vomited on the lobby carpet and all over us … luckily that sped us to registration. She looked so miserable/lifeless. After registering, the paramedic said “how honest do you want me to be?” we looked at him utterly confused and he said you are the #12th in line … ok … “you are looking at about 4-6 hr wait”. You just told us it was not busy. It was 12:30am when we arrived. You want my infant to wait 4-6 hrs to be seen and she can’t keep 1 thing down? I asked is there a room in the pediatric section of the ER available at least to wait in there … “No they close at 1am”. I am 100% sure children have emergencies after 1am. ISN’T AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT 24-7? We went to wait in our car and she fell asleep. I said lets go home this is torture, by the time they will see us we can go to urgent care. This hospital is a disaster. I’ve seen and heard enough from other experiences … don’t get me started about my delivery experience a year ago. This hospital should not be considered an MGH affiliate! This has always been the issue with Elliot even prior to the staffing shortages. Oh but they are quick to bill and contact you for collections.

Wednesday night I went in with severe stomach pain. Turns out It was my appendix. From start to finish every member of the Elliot was amazing. They were all very thorough in their work and at the same time, made me feel like I was surrounded by friends. It's not very often you come away with great memories from having to have surgery. Thank you to everyone at the Elliot.
