I chose not to book with this clinic as they charge a consultation fee of over a $100. I think this discourages people from looking around and finding a doctor that they match best with. When you are selecting someone to perform an elective procedure I think people should be encouraged to meet with multiple doctors, and not feel locked in by a consultation fee. The procedures themselves cost enough and there is no need to be skimming these extra few dollars off of people.

The staff and doctors do everything possible to make your experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The doctors have an eye for esthetics and will help negotiate an approach that suits your needs and brings you closer to your goal, all while minding your budget.

I have been to the clinic on two separate occasions for Mohs surgery required on my face.. I experienced extremely professional care and was impressed with the results ie no scarring on my face. I was told by the referring physician this is the only doctor he would trust. I plan to go to the Youthful Image clinic for a consult on skin issues since losing a lot of weight over the last year. The doctor was very good dealing with all my concerns but I still would sacrifice bedside manner for skill, knowledge and experience. I have no hesitation returning.

She asked me to send photos and then called me back to say she thought it would be better if I went to a plastic surgeon... So if you need me I'll be looking for my crushed self-confidence.

I went for a consultation for submental liposuction to correct the adverse effects of CoolSculpting. Dr. M Sapijaszko was not the most approachable and after consultation he had left the room and asked the coordinator to speak with him privately. Then the coordinator came back in to relay the information on the procedure and the risks. I don't feel it is right for anyone else other than the operating surgeon to explain the procedure to a patient. On top of that, the coordinator kept reminding me that I had previously had a consultation with them 5 years prior (before CoolSculpting) and that if I had decided to go through with liposuction at that time I wouldn't be dealing with the after effects of CoolSculpting. As a health care provider myself, I would never in my practice place blame on a patient which is not helpful in any way. What therapeutic purpose would it serve to say "5 years ago if you had done this then you would have saved yourself the cost of CoolSculpting"? There is being honest and transparent with the necessary information to help a patient make an informed decision and there is blaming the patient. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure where rare complications can happen. what's done is done, at the end of the day, you can't change the past. I'm here for a consultation on what can be done now, not what could have been. Mind you the consultation was also not free. That aside, I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and I needed a quote to provide to the insurance company for CoolSculpting that will be covering the procedure. It was the most painful experience trying to get this. I'm not sure what exactly is complicated about a written quote, you list the client information and then the procedure and the cost. They insisted that this will cost $350 to get a written quote. After several phone calls and even saying I would pay for this, months later I still did not get a quote. So shady that they are being so difficult about providing a written quote. I have had it with this clinic and had gone to another surgeon who didn't charge a dime for a piece of paper with a few lines indicating a proper quote. Apparently to Youthful Image, a quote is rocket science. What's a quote?

I've been seeing Dr. M Sapijaszko for 5 years now. He put me on Accutane which did wonders for my skin! The bad review is consequent of how horribly he treats his staff. Each time I visit the clinic, he is degrading, insulting.. he is so unbelievably rude to the poor girls that work there. I will not be returning, enough is enough. Sending praise to all of those who work underneath him ❤

I got a lip injection and it was horrible. I asked to talk to a doctor the day before the procedure, having read the other review, and they didn't let me, because they said that I needed to sign the waiver first! On the day of the procedure, they put a needle in me before I could ask about anything! It was terribly painful, and when I tried to stop the procedure halfway through, (I asked them to just stop and wait for the drug to stop its affect) they said that the doctor would make it all better, in those exact words. He in turn, gave me another drug that put me to sleep, and when they were finished my lips were bleeding like mad, and I asked if someone would drive me home or something, as I live literally 2 minutes away. They said that they would, then walked out of the hall and never so much as looked at me again! DO NOT GO HERE! IT IS TERRIBLE!

Very pleasant staff and the location very convenient. I like downtown so I just walked to the clinic. Dr. Sapijaszko offers the services that I want like lasers and face rejuvenation so I had botox and facial lasers. The clinic is very professional.

I had my lips done and I am just thrilled. They look natural and soft and the doctor did not even use needles to make them happen. I am so happy and I will be coming there for more. I love the results. My lips are mine and they look fantastic. I was totally new to face treatments but whenot my birthday was coming my find suggested that I visit Dr. Sapijaszko at Youthful Image clinic. The consultation went well and when I was ready I was numbed so there was absolutely no pain when my lips were done. I couldn't wait to see them and the results were immediate. Naturally beautiful. I would give this place a 0 if I could. I saw Dr. Sapijaszko regarding my acne and he gave me medications to treat my acne and he said to follow up with him in about a year or so and see how it was going. I did exactly that and when I called the clinic to book an appointment they said since I wasn’t seen in such a long time, I needed another referral from my family physician so I got another referral. I still was not booked and when I called to ask why she said, “oh sorry, we actually do not need a referral, but you need to come back and book a consult first then you can see the doctor” to which I had no problem with, everyone makes mistakes. They transferred the call to book me a consult and the lady on the phone said I needed to pay $100.00 before my consult appointment because I was being seen for acne and apparently if you get seen twice for the same problem you need to pay $100. Is that a joke?! I’ve never heard something so ridiculous in my ENTIRE life. Why would I pay $100 for a follow up that the doctor requested and especially if it’s for the same problem. The issue clearly was not resolved so why is it my responsibility to pay $100 when clearly the medication and treatment plan that the doctor ordered was not good. I will never pay this silly operation a dollar and will never step foot in this clinic again.

I saw the doctor only once and then had some treatments with the staff. I went to many places before but never saw dermatologist. It is so much worth it. Don't wait for other creams to work. Dr. Sapijaszko did my Juvederm lips and Botox and I feel great about it. I had a consultation with Dr. Sapijaszko and his nurses. He analyzed my face like no one before. I was surprized what he discovered about my face and made me feel good about it. The treatments was almost painless. Dr. Sapijaszko used cannulas and numbed my skin a little. The results are awsome and I lready taold my firiends to see this clinic. Dr. Sapijaszko is a dermatologist so he can help you with your skin issues as well.

I went to youthful image to see Dr. Sapijaszko and had a pleasant interaction with the doctors assistant who prepped me but was turned off by how Dr. Sapijaszko treated his assistants. I felt uncomfortable when the doctor started verbally abusing his staff and complaining to me that they are idiots and calling them other names which I found unprofessional, rude and sexist. Although treatment results were great, I will not be returning to Youthful image because I cannot support such mistreatment and disrespect of another human being.

They looked great so I decided to give them a go. Consultation was going thorough and I just trusted them. They delivered what they promised and more. I was reading some of the reviews and I decided give them a go. I like customer service but I like results more. I got wonderful customer service and results.

Youthful Image is the best in Edmonton. They are extremely professional and knowledgable. I just realized that they have been in cosmetic business for 20 years. That is a lot of experience. I already had treatments there and this was my new consultation. It was superb and my questions were well answered. There was no rush. I already decided on my treatments and I am so looking forward to getting going. I feel that I found my place again. It was worth the wait.

Don't go to this clinic! I called to book an appointment for a skin tag removal. She refused to book me in because she said I had to get a referral from my family doctor that clearly stated that what I had was just a skin tag. I asked her "isn't your doctor a dermatologist?" She said yes he is. I said then he should be able to tell if it is a skin tag. She said that he still needed the referral because he refuses to remove anything he doesn't know what it is! Are you kidding me???!!!! What kind of a dermatologist needs a GP to tell him whether it is a skin tag or not???!!! If I could rate zero, I would!!!

Dr. Sapijaszko helped my acne. My acne was really bad and Dr. Searles treated it in the past. What I was left with were acne scars that covered most of my face. I thought I could just live with them and was really happy when my acne was gone but I was not really 100% happy. Dr. Sapijaszko suggested lasers and chemical peels and the treatments were done over few months. Now my skin is clear and he face looks beautiful. You would not know that once I had bad acne. The staff and Dr. Sapijaszko were excellent.

It is about a months wait to get an appointment, so when I went in today for my 5:00 appointment, I was eager to meet the dr and have my consult/procedure and showed up at 4:40ish. I watched as 6 people who arrived after me, one of whom did not have an appointment, the others with appointments at 5:15 (after mine) all get in before me. At 5:30, when the receptionist finally came back to her desk, I mentioned I had a 5:00 appointment and wondered how much longer I would have to wait. She rudely informed me that the appointment was actually at 5:15, they just tell people to come at 5:00 to fill out paperwork. I checked my voicemail message they had left for me the day before, and sure enough, they tell me my appointment time is 5:00. They don't mention anything about paperwork. The paperwork I did complete, took no more than 2 minutes. I was angry at this point, and waited another 10 mins, while the walk-in patient was invited in, before I told the receptionist I can't wait any longer. I'll take my business elsewhere. What an absurd policy, to lie to patients about their appointment time. I'm the type to ALWAYS show up early, I shouldn't be lied to because other people show up late. Even if the appointment was for 5:15, waiting a half hour past that time is unacceptable. Except, I was waiting an hour. Not to mention the long drive there and back, and I even left work early to make this appointment on time.

I only had excellent experience with nurses and doctor at the clinic. the treatments were well explained and very effective. No miracles but just great results. I am happy I found them and already recommended to my friends.
