I'll never know...waited in the office for an hour. Realized it had been an hour and asked the women across from me -who were there before me- how long they had waited. They said they'd been there for 2 hours. That's nuts! When I asked them what time they had available for the appt. the receptionist said 2:30, 3, 3:30, 4. Clearly the afternoon was not free! Just say the dr. is not available until ___ unprofessional bs.

The doctors work is good. The procedures outcome is as expected, however the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I did not feel like they "walked" me through the process. A lot of critical information was not given to me regarding what to expect and things that I would experience. No personal touch at all. The doctor wasnt as available as i needed. I would not use this facility again.

Doctors not as available as you would want and the most annoying part to me is when you go for a consultation why cant you talk in private with the dr?why must the dr bring their minion into the room with them to hear your whole list of insecurities and while you have to stand there with all your cellulite on display hanging out everywhere, the minion is just standing there watching every jiggle like i’m a circus act. They need to change that practice like now dude. Give the patients some private time with the dr. Just because a lot of us are fat doesn’t mean we’re going to EAT the doctor sheeeesh

My experience at DPS was wonderful from start to finish. I decided to go through with my surgery for a breast lift and augmentation on the day of my initial consultation. After having visited other plastic surgery offices, I found that DPS not only offered the most reasonable price for the exact procedure combination I wanted but also I was the most comfortable with Dr. Cohen. During my initial consultation, Dr. Cohen explained the procedure thoroughly and made sure all of my questions were answered to the point that I had zero nerves walking into the surgical suite a month later. Two weeks post op and I have healed wonderfully and am incredibly pleased with the results.

My experience in that clinic was very bad. results of the fatal surgery, the suture was like suture an animal, the scar is horrible and very notorious. I pay a lot and my breasts look one more fallen and smaller than the other. now I demand that they answer me but the clinic tells me that the doctor does not work with them and that I sign something that they never told me or explained that the doctor did not belong to the organization. after signing almost a book of things. Now they are simply not going to answer for my money or for my surgery.

If I could, I'd give them a zero. I had been planning a tummy tuck for over a year. Visited this office in Oct 2018. Visited other surgeon offices to compare services and costs. Concluded that DPS was the one for me. Revisited DPS in Dec 2018. Notified the surgeon, Dr. Michael Bruck, of my diabetes and smoking status. He told me to quit smoking, because it impedes healing. No nicotine should be in my system leading up to the date of surgery, which was scheduled for Feb 8, 2019. He also informed me that I will be tested three times leading up to date of surgery. I paid for the surgery in full in Dec 2018. Stopped smoking. Aced my nicotine test. Got clearance from endocrinologist for the surgery. Took blood tests and submitted lab results to Dr. Bruck. Took an EKG and got clearance from cardiologist. Submitted cardiac report to Dr. Bruck. I complied with EVERY. SINGLE. PRE-REQUIREMENT. Bought the prescribed meds for post-op care. Boyfriend had to take time off to care for me. I had to file FMLA papers for the extended medical leave for work. Scheduled to take three weeks off from work. I'm an adjunct professor and took the semester off for this surgery. Lost income. Boyfriend lost income. DAY OF SURGERY--two hours before right as I'm about to get on the Long Island Expressway to their facility, I get a phone call from Dr. Bruck that my tummy tuck was cancelled because the anesthesiologist deemed me too risky for the surgery due to my diabetes A1C. Mind you, my endo cleared me. I was angry as hell. DPS make patients sign and initial a pre-op doc regarding cancellations and lateness. If a patient cancels less than 24 hrs prior to surgery, they charge the patient $250. If the caretaker is late in picking you up post-op, they charge each hour the caretaker is late. DPS fully refunded me all monies I paid for the surgery but they refuse to follow their own cancellation policy that they impose when a patient cancels last minute. THEY cancelled last minute...where's my $250?? Sorry for the long post but please beware and read the documents. Make THEM sign something that says if THEY cancel, that they will be punished too. What ticked me off the most was that at no point did Dr. Bruck consult with the anesthesiologist about my condition. Why did he schedule the surgery if he didn't talk to the anesthesiologist? Furthermore, because the anesthesiologist was never involved in the conversation about my health condition, it seems that it wasn't discussed until the last minute. Do you want to use a facility that waits until the LAST MINUTE to discuss your surgery? Do you want to spend your hard earned money on medical providers who deems your health and LIFE as LAST MINUTE? Do you want to patronize a practice that will penalize YOU for cancellations and lateness but won't accept their own faults and punishment? I wouldn't. Go elsewhere, which is what I have to do now.

I had my procedure done at Doctors Plastic Surgery almost 5 years ago and still tell everyone that my only regret was not going there sooner! The staff made me feel like family and the doctors are all wonderful. The place is very clean and follow all safety guidelines. I think it’s amazing that you get to actually meet with the surgeon on the day of your consultation. Not all practices offer that. I also love that every doctor at DPS is an actual plastic surgeon as opposed to another specialty. I’ve found that in many other practices offering plastic surgery, the doctors aren’t always plastic surgeons but dermatologists, pediatricians and gynecologists. Apparently you don’t have to be a plastic surgeon in order to do plastic surgical procedures in the state of New York but I love that at Doctors Plastic Surgery I can be at peace knowing that the doctors who are performing procedures are all trained in plastic surgery. Thank you for doing things right!

ABOUT 2WEEKS LATER I STARTED TO NOTICE ONE BREAST WAS NOTICEABLY LARGER AND LOWER THAN THE OTHER BREAST AND THEY WERE BOTH HANGING LOWER THAN BEFORE THE SURGERY AND FELT VERY HEAVY. TOLD DR BLAINE ABOUT MY CONCERNS SHE DISMISSED IT AS SWELLING BEING THAT I WAS ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS POST OP. I WAS ABLE TO LIVE WITH THAT UNTIL MONTHS LATER THERE HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGE. TERRIBLE SCARRING.COMPLAINED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASSION AND EACH TIME SHE HAS AN EXCUSE AS TO HOW IT ISNT HER FAULT AND MY BREAST WERE VERY LARGE FROM THE START. YOU BEING THE DOCTOR SHOULD HAVE WARNED ME OF THE RESULTS OF NOT HAVING A LIFT WITH THE IMPLANTS. I had a 360 lipo with DR Delmauro. It’s been 3 weeks and so far I’m loving my results! This doctor is fabulous and he treats his patients like family or friends, he is very charming and caring. I’m loving his work and I enjoy the consultations. He understands the female body and beauty. I was surprised because he is young and this aspect plays in his ability to create a body that fits today’s beauty standards. He made me look like a Spanish guitar. I believe he loves his career and it shows on his great work and attention to detail. A 360 lipo is not an easy procedure but I’m glad I choose this doctor. FYI I also got a breast lift done at this location and it was good but my best experience was with DR Delmauro. Dr Sha did my breast lift.

Very unreliable don’t go there, I had my appointment for November 7th then the day before I get a call the day before that the doctor had an emergency and my appointment has to be canceled. They rescheduled my appointment for November 14th. I get there on November 14th to my 1 pm appointment, fill out paperwork and they put me in the room and asked to to undress and wait for the doctor. Waited 1 hour and 15 mins and when finally the doctor came in he said “I need to reschedule appointment because it’s late and I have to cat my train to Maryland, I don’t have time to see” not even a sorry just that he can’t see me. This has been the most unprofessional to treat patients. I was told that the owner was going to call me due to the inconvenience and reschedule my appointment for 12/12 not sure I’ll be going back as I rather go with a more professional office.

I wish I could give 10 stars. I began my journey of breast augmentation back in October. Upon meeting Dr.Shah he was very honest with me and let me know I also needed a lift. He explained that he can do it without a lift but then my implants with sagg. So I added the lift. Fast forward to my surgery, It took all of 4 hours but it honestly felt like a nap. I was happy with my results from day 1. I got a lift and up to a full D. It's been a month now and I'm back at work, I'm constantly complimented, my scarring is almost completely gone, no anchor scar ladies. I'm more do happy that my nipples don't look like they were just glued back on, my areolas are mixing so well with my skin complexion around them.

Had surgery there with Dr. Torambe in 2006 ended up with a huge amount of fat again. Im vegetarian and gluten free. Went back about 3 years later met with Dr. Everett and it was not good. He basically insulted the previous work and then charged me so much more than advertised. I wish I can give zero stars. Don't go to this place. I did with Robert Tornambe liposuction to my arms back in June 2011 "that was in his practice, MADISON CARE, and another liposuction and arm left in May 2015, and that was at DOCTORS PLASTIC SURGERY". I know most of you will be surprised why I have waited that long to write this review. But believe me, this is the first review I'm writing, and that because I'm looking for a doctor to do revision surgery to the terrible work, Robert had done to my body. While looking for a doctor, I can only see a positive with five-star reviews, and they are without any real photos of patients or with advertising photoshop photos. I was thinking about why we don't help each other by doing an honest review so we can save others from suffering from these unprofessional doctors. My story, as I said, I did my liposuction surgery with him in June 2011, and my left arm was bigger than the right one. I went back to him, and he said you have to wait one year to see the result after one year he said it's normal, so I believed him. So I saved some money, changed my lifestyle diet, and lost a lot of weight, then I decided to do arm left in May 2015. In the consultation, I was surprised that it was him again, and guess what I believed him that what happened back in 2011 was normal. Michelle Link, who was working at Doctors Plastic Surgery as a coordinator, was rushing me to do the surgery and convinced me by say it normal what happened. She told me that she did her arm lift surgery with him and my arms look great "I believed her because she was wearing long sleeves shirt, and they looked slim and great." Now, after telling you my story, I would like to share images of my arms before and after. The after pictures look terrible, and these pictures were taken after one year and two months from my surgery date. I was more comfortable and confident way before I did the surgery. I cannot even go out in public wearing sleeveless tops. If you look closely, you can see that my left arm is bigger than my right arm. There are lumps of fat above my elbow and near to the top of my armpits. The surgical cuts aren't even in a straight line, and I also feel a hardening in the incision line itself, which could be spotted very easily. I honestly regret doing the surgery and going through all of this pain to end up with these horrendous results. In case you didn't know, I am a student, and I have paid all of my savings for this surgery, and I cannot afford to pay again. I deserve more than this because the money I paid took longer for me to save than heal after undergoing this surgery. I went back to show these results, and they put me with a different doctor, which ask me to pay more. I did ask them for a revision to their bad work, "as Michelle said; when I asked her during the consultation before the surgery what if I didn't get a good result, she told me it would be free." They refused my request, and I met with their manager, he said we cannot do anything if you don't pay. The last word, please please take care of yourself because not all doctors will accept to revise missed up work by other surgeons. Please do your research, read all the reviews, and consider them. I learn my lesson. I wish this review help at least one person.

Doctors Plastic Surgery New York is definitely the place I want to have my breast augmentation done. I felt safe and welcome from the moment I walked into the office. The staff made me feel really special, and Dr. Altman was fantastic. He was super thorough when he answered all of my questions. I have always wanted a breast augmentation since I can remember, but contemplated the idea because I was too scared to go under the knife. In 2020, I decided to make my dream come true and started to research the best breast augmentation clinics in NYC (for personal reasons, I didn’t want to leave the state or country). I met doctor DelMauro in January 2020 for the first time and his bedside manner was great! The place is clean and the staff was so nice, that I decided to go with Doctors of Plastic surgery for my BA. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and I decided against the procedure once again. I revisited the idea in November of 2020 and had a virtual consultation with Dr. DelMauro and again he took his time with explaining everything I needed to know about the procedure. I had my surgery on April 7th 2021 and I am healing beautifully! I had the best coordinator Amanda, she took care of all of my needs and answered all of my questions in a timely fashion, she made this experience smooth and put any fears I had at ease. Dr. DelMauro is a wonderful doctor and don’t let his baby face fool you, he knows exactly what he’s talking about and he helped me to achieve my dream.

This place is horrible. I wish I could give negative stars. I went in for 360 lipo but was pushed in to a tummy tuck instead as that was supposed to get rid of loose skin from lipo and remove more fat. I was assured my belly button would look great and my stomach would be flat and my sides in to part of my back would receive lipo. The areas that I was told would be getting lipo, were not fully done at all and I was given excuses, I was left with extra sagging skin flapping on my sides from day one, my belly button looks deformed and my stomach looks absolutely horrible. I have to pay significantly more at another place to have this damage corrected. They lie to take your money and pretend recovery is not as bad. I've been in pain and discomfort for over 9 months. I've consulted with other doctors in other clinics who have commented this place is "low cost and low service." When requesting my medical records, they were sent incomplete (they don't note down all the complaints you have from day 1 and then pretend the issues you have with the surgery are due to anything else or recent complaints). My medical records were also sent with incorrect information/errors. The manager Yelena is not responsive at all. I was told my file would be sent to the board for review and would take a few days and followed up for weeks to receive no response. My "muscle repair" in this tummy tuck was more like muscle damage. I have no kids, just wanted to remove some fat for a bit more shape/curves and I look ridiculous. My stomach pulls outwards and then separates to each side in a strange way. I had a small frame and my stomach has somehow been widened. I want to warn people not to use this facility or Dr. Delmauro. The clinic is highly disorganized and even during my first consultations, my paperwork was lost and I had to resubmit them. I was given one quote and when it came time to pay and I was booking the date they had "forgotten" to add something in and charged me an extra 600 last minute. My stomach looks like there is an alien trying to rip out of it. I highly regret using this facility and want to warn people not to book their procedures here. I've been given the most ridiculous excuses and they pretend this looks good and doctor will tell me I'm looking hot when I'm looking deformed. You can literally see the absurd look. I've also gained a ton of stretch marks that were quite painful as my skin rips and stretched out further when my stomach pulls outwards on the sides (and I've lost some weight so the new stretchmarks are due to this muscle damage that I was left with).

From day 1 they have been amazing! Originally I wanted to go to Miami to have my procedure done, because it was the most “popular” & least expensive place to go. But, Miami offices lost me with their horrible customer service. After doing some research, I was blessed to come across DPS! The 1st phone call I was sold. What really made me comfortable was the fact that I was required to have an in-person consultation where I met with my actual surgeon before even booking! Dr. Shah performed my BL/BA. His staff was absolutely amazing. A big thumbs up to Yuri (spell check) the anesthesiologist!! He made me feel most comfortable. I was a nervous wreck, but it was him that made me feel safest. I am 3 weeks post op, with amazing results. I am very happy I chose this office. I would highly recommend having surgery here. All members of staff are very professional and welcoming - I felt at home from the very first minute. My counselor Yajaira answered all general questions I had and introduced me to the surgeon, Dr. Altman. I highly recommend my doctor(Dr. Michael Cohen), you better off taking the long ride to his main office. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. After searching for doctors in NYC, I finally found a place where I felt comfortable getting my procedure done. Dr. Bruck is the best! During our consultation he went into extreme detail of what would happen before, during, and after the procedure. During my first exam he even took the time out to draw a detailed diagram of what he'd be doing to my body during the surgery. Most importantly he prescribed me medication during the operation that left me with a PAINLESS recovery! His staff are very welcoming and friendly, Jenny and Kim are amazing! These two ladies were so professional yet down to earth.

This is going to be worth the read. Look a if I wasn’t for the doctor that I really wanted to see Dr. Cohen because of his great reviews I wouldn’t go here. I wish I did more research before settling on a surgery clinic and paid more attention to how aftercare would be and the office experience. Let me explain in detail my review has nothing to do with my results. I love how my procedure turned out and I actually trust that I will continue to heal nicely thanks to Dr.Cohen. But the office experience is less than acceptable. First, I had a pre-op appointment without an actual coordinator, they even forgot to take my payment. Warning sign of the disorganization that followed me with this place. Second, actual surgery day was 12 PM I was told to show up one hour early which I did. They seem to think everyone’s time isn’t something to respect as I was kept alone without anyone checking on me for three hours straight from 11 AM to around 2 by then I was starving frustrated and just wanted to get it over with - a feeling someone should never have. The nurse who saw me around 10:50 gave me a Tylenol.... mind you the surgery didn’t actually happen for me until 3PM I woke up in exacerbated pain. Third, my first post op appointment I scheduled for 3:30 and yet 5PM comes around and I still didn’t get seen. The lack of punctuality in this clinic is unprofessional, lousy, and down right unacceptable. Patients time is important and should be treated as such. Having a great surgeon is one thing, having an overall good working cohesive office is something that this place surely lacks. Look elsewhere you can find better I’m sure of it.
