Dr. Nuveen is the real deal! From the very beginning of making my consultation appointment, surgery day, post and pre op. The staff was super nice! From the front desk to scheduling, the nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr. Nuveen and his fellow. What I really liked about Dr. Nuveen is he is very truthful with you from the very beginning at your consultation. He doesn't come straight out and tell you what are the negatives. Dr Nuveen and Staff are absolutely amazing!!! I had a breast lift with augmentation. I did all of my consultation online so when i first met him i was very nervous. I had a tummy tuck in November of 2017. The office staff was very professional and helped me with the hundreds of questions that I had. Dr. Nuveen and his intern made me feel very comfortable the day of the surgery. They msfe me feel as i was the only patient had all week. Prior to choosing Dr. Nuveen and Dr. Caplin at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates to perform my breast lift and tummy tuck, I visited a physician in Louisiana that was said to be, ”the best.” After consulting with the Louisiana physician, I was quoted twice as much for the same procedure. It was also recommended by the Louisiana physician that I have the procedure done at two different times which would have further contributed to an increase in cost and recovery time. On 4-25-17 I took one of the largest leaps of faith into Dr. Courtney Caplin's hands! I had a consultation for a Tummy tuck a few months back and absolutely fell in love with how professional, caring and concerned she was about my comfort in choosing her for my procedure. Which meant so much to me as well. I decided to pay my deposit and set my date! 1 week before my surgery I got "cold feet and emailed Dr. Caplin my concerns. Right after the office closed she called me from her personal cell phone and discussed all my fears with me for about 30 minutes! I didn't even think doctors still did that! I was so much more confident and set on her being my doctor for tummy tuck and Lipo. When I arrived everyone was so friendly and hyped me up for the changes I desperately dreamed of! From prepping me, to waking me up, the office team was amazing friendly and kind. I'm now 4 days out from my surgery and couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Caplin has kept in touch with me to make sure I've been comfortable and everything has turned out like I imagined. Of course I have a road of recovery ahead but I have the confidence I need to get through it from picking the best doctor I could have for my journey! I highly recommend her for her knowledge in her field and for the love she has for what she does!

I would rate a zero but I’m not able too. Instead a one star. Never again will I ever have Dr. Nuveen perform any type of surgery on me. The worst surgery ever. Left me scared and I still have a tiny hole after implants. After he saw me with this issue I never got a call for a check up concerning this matter. The staff was horrible after surgery. There’s so many things I have complaints about cosmetic surgery just don’t have the time to type it all out. Please stay away from this place. All they want is your money. I was talked into getting the gummie implants by Dr. Nuveen when it should’ve been my choice. Once again it was due to money because they cost more. It has left me depressed on a daily basis because of the outcome. I trusted these people to perform the best surgery after a friend recommended me to them but I received the worst surgery ever. Now I’m trying to save up my money to have someone else redo my implants after a horrible experience. I just can’t believe they never bothered to do a follow up with my situation but then I was the one calling with this bad experience and still couldn’t get a call back. Please people stay away from this place. All they want is your money!

I had gastric weight loss surgery in March 2008. After a dramatic weight loss of over 150lbs, I had a significant amount of sagging skin that I wanted removed around my waist line and buttocks. Dr. Nuveen and his staff are impressive. I felt comfortable from the time I walked in the door. His knowledge of cosmetic surgery was far superior to any of the other 7 surgeons I visited with, and I gladly chose him as my surgeon. Dr. Nuveen on the initial appointment spent nearly 40 minutes explaining the procedure, discussed possible side effects and recovery. He had pictures (proof) of his work on other patients and was concerned about my well being more than just a quick sell. I elected a procedure called a Belt Liptecomy, aka 360' Body Lift. The costs were extremely reasonable for the procedure, and were all inclusive. It has been 2 years now since the surgery, and I couldn't be more pleased. I look and feel great, for such a major surgery I was in great hands. I was impressed that Dr. Nuveen himself called to check on me, and the follow-up from his staff was impressive as well. I highly recommend his practice and have been nothing but pleased.

Dr Nuveen has been amazing to work with over the past 13yrs. He did my first breast augmentation with silicone after my 2 kids. The size was exactly what I had asked for and I loved them! Meeting with over 8 surgeons across Oklahoma Nuveen was the one I felt most comfortable with talking to and he actually listened and understood exactly what I wanted. Then I decided to get pregnant again, was able to nurse with them which was a blessing. Having them for almost 13yrs I decided to have them redone, we decided to go with a lift and new “gummy” implants. I am a month in post opp and EXTREMELY pleased with them! Dr. Chaplin is AMAZING! I was a bit apprehensive since she was a woman surgeon but I was so pleased with her and her talent. She takes great pride in her work and has a unique woman's eye for aesthetic beauty. I had a full body lift with fat transfer to the buttocks. I was 310 before WLS and 165 stable for a few years. I never thought I would have surgery but it was one of the best decisions I've made. If I am lucky enough to have another procedure I will definitely use her again. I am so pleased with the surgery I had with Dr. Nuveen. I was a patient in 2010 and again in 2021. The entire team at CSA was a pleasure to work with last month! Dr. Nuveen and his nurses (I interacted most with Tracy and Lauren) are exceptional in how they made me feel heard during my consult and in the discussions we had prior to surgery. I always felt they truly listened to my goals, concerns and what was important to me going through this process. The level of care and concern before, day of and after surgery was above and beyond! After surgery, the level of communication I was able to have with Dr. Nuveen was comforting and I felt that my patient experience was at the top of his list at all times. The follow up process has been seamless as well. When doing an elective procedure, it was important to me to have expertise, knowledge, and someone highly skilled at what they do in addition to a great ability to interact with me as a patient. To be heard, listened to if I had questions or conerns, and work together to reach the desired outcome is what I was looking for. Having surgery feels very vulnerable to me in general and I never once felt uncomfortable. The detail and attention of care I experienced while at CSA was amazing!

Strong advice not to go to this provider. I paid my $100 consultation fee and never saw the physician. Spent almost 3 hrs there and still didn't find out the cost by their recommendation. I had no idea it was going to take that long and had a previous appointment for a prior 8 weeks wait I had to leave this consultation in order to make previous appointment. I could not afford to miss as they were booked 3 months out. I had requested email me, or call me, which ever worked best for their schedule, in order to let me know what the recommended cost was. Be warned at your consultation, you don't see the physician. They take pics of you, leave the room, and you're left to presume the physician sees these pics and recommends the surgery. I wouldn't know, I never saw the physician. Be warned you are simply a dollar sign to them. You are on a conveyor belt in which you only talk to to people barely above minimum wage. Yet, they are oh so happy to take your $100. This is by no means a cut down for the staff albeit Jamie Never got back with me as to the cost of surgery despite my calling back and leaving a message. Do to the lack of any professional presence. I am looking elsewhere. I feel strongly about this as I don't leave many reviews, enter at your own risk. This is a review that you had responded to with concern... but you need to read it more carefully. I was referring to Another appointment that had I of stayed in your office while awaiting to finish, through the shuffling, to see Jamie again. While hearing her on the other side of the wall with the shuffling of which I thought was being redused to chattle my almost 3 hrs late was going to make me miss my previous appointment with a Physician that had I of stayed there listening to the almost social conversation, waiting my turn, I would have had to wait 3 months to see the Physician I felt I had plenty of Lee way I felt I had plenty of time to see both. Furthermore, if I'm remembering right, the "nursing practitioner" referred to herself as nursing assistant who weighed me took pics i presume talked to the physician as to what surgery i should have. Spent two minutes describing the surgery surrounding muscles and staples around the neck. When i left, i had to leave for my other appointment, i related this to the nursing assistant standing in break room,, asked that i e contacted on results of consultation. I repeated as to receptionists as I walked out,, i then followed up with phone call as i didn't hear anything from anyone, hence this review.If this is your way of doing, I question everyone judgements that chooses your facility and you should be concerned.

I went in to have Botox done with Jessica. I was so nervous when I got there, and especially nervous about the needle going in my face. Jessica talked me through the entire process, assured me it wouldn't be a bad experience, and even stopped through the process to ask me how I felt, and if I needed a breather break. I am very frustrated this cosmetic practice is unprofessional dishonest and lack of care for their patients. I call to schedule a consultation for breast implant and fillers to correct eye aging with Dr Nuveen, never got to meet the doctor and was told that I’ll meet him in our consultation they request $100 that will go towards any treatment I ask if Doctor Nuveen was the one preforming the the injectables if I decide to do them as well and they say yes he will be there on Thursday , I went there last week on Thursday 4/22/21 my appointment was at 3:30 and they did not see me for over an hour later then a young girl in scrubs stated that the manager will talk to me about quotes and then the nurse practitioner will do the consultation! I stated that I was told the Doctor was going to be the one doing the consultation they stated that he was out of town until Tuesday following week so I feel they deceived me from the beginning! I was worry because the nurse practitioner that did the consultation did not look over 23 years old she stated they will send pics to the doctor he will make the staff to print a quote for the treatments desired. decide to do Botox the nurse practitioner say she will do the Botox the same day she left the room I was waiting for her to do the Botox in the room and was 10 min before 6 I need it to go so they say they couldn’t print the quote and say they will send it over email “never got it” and stated they will call me to set time for the Botox they did not call l... I sch over the phone they say I need to pay another $100 to schedule the Botox I pay another $100. They charge the Botox and did not discount the other $100 I pay over the phone on the initial call they say it will only go towards surgery because was the charge for the Dr consultation they say the doctor never do fillers and is the nurse practitioner who does it and that the constitution is with the nurse not the doctor. They totally give me wrong information over the phone. I never got to meet the doctor and it was not at all what I was told over the phone the doctor was not there he is not the one doing the fillers he is not the one consulting with patients for surgery they do not care about the patient or their needs they care about getting the money so their numbers go up in surgery records and rates, the stuff is unprofessional and insensitive I will not ever go back there and certainly do not recommend anyone to go there. I did talk to the office manager April Lanman and she supported this kind of dishonest dealing of the office of Doctor Erick Nuveen and Dr. Courtney Caplin

I have always had insecurities with my body and I haven’t been the easiest procedure. Back story, I use to be 300lbs and very unhappy with my hips. The way my body carries its weight it has caused many back issues. Dr Naveen is making sure to fix the weight pulling on my spin. It has been almost two years since my great augmentation surgery and I am still extremely disappointed with the results. My scars are larger than I was told they were going to be. He took it into his own hands to put in larger implants than we had discussed and what I had told him I wished I wanted. After the surgery he said " I went larger than we had talked about because everyone wished they would have gone bigger". That was not his decision to make. The implants are too large for my chest and frame and one is now protruding out from over my pec muscle near my armpit to form a bubble type bulge. I can feel my implant on the side of my chest. I am extremely unhappy with how things turned out and if I could I would go back and never get them done.

10 Stars!!! I had Breast Augmentation a month ago (M2F) and my experience at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates was like being spoiled with a day at a Luxury Spa. Everyone from Kayla S. at the front desk (who made me feel very comfortable, relaxed, and excited) to Courtney (who went over every detail, answered questions, and helped me get my surgery financed, and was also very friendly) to the Nurses who prepped me for surgery, to staff throughout the beautiful facility was just better than anyone could ever ask for. If I could afford all the surgeries I wanted... Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates would be the ONLY place I would go. My Surgeon, Dr. Caplin, OMG AWESOME, she is truly Gifted, Sincere, Caring, Experienced...I could go on and on about how Amazing she is. There is something about her that just instantly makes you feel like "She is the one I want doing my surgery". I had 800cc Silicone Implants, underneath and under the muscle. At 1 month post-op I barely notice the scar. As I said, truly a remarkable Surgeon. I also want to thank everyone for recommending the Silagen scar cream. It's worth the money. Bottom line is i have Beautiful Breasts that are Perfect. I first visited cosmetic surgery affiliates when I was 25 years old for my breast augmentation. It went very smoothly and I absolutely love my results. It gave me the confidence to start working out more and taking better care of myself. A couple of years later I’ve decided to go back and address the issues I was having with my stomach muscles… I was trying to work out and anything having to do with my core hurt. It turns out that I had two different places that were herniated from having children at such a young age. Dr. Neveen fixed me up and gave me the perfect waistline! I had an online consultation, arrived the day of surgery and met the whole crew, and was home and recovering shortly after the procedure that same day. No doubt having found Dr Nuveen was a blessing, a great professional, kind, sensitive and committed to his profession, I came to see several doctors who made me believe and lose hope of seeing me again, I suffered breast cancer, I went through a double mastectomy and the other doctors the options they gave me were not good, I felt totally mutilated, finished as a woman, after fighting a hard battle against cancer and running into doctors who do not have apathy for what happens to you depressed, but thank God I found dr Nuveen who restored my security and my essence as a woman, he did a wonderful job, professional and above all everything was always kind and human, I live in Austin Tx, I had to travel several hours but without doubt was worth it and I would do it again, hopefully there are more doctors like Dr. Nuveen and his team, eternally grateful, they have made me feel complete again thanks to Nuveen

There are so many positive things I could say about Dr. Courtney that I thought it would be best to write a review considering reading other reviews before my procedure is how I came about choosing this place. Beforehand, I had went to several Doctors for consultations and all told me that they wanted me to split my procedure up into two sessions. One for the lift and then to come back six months later for the implant. I personally thought that was too expensive and secondly two recoveries. Now I’m already heavy chested but I still wanted an implant along with a lift. As soon as Dr. Courtney walked in the room, it was literally love at first site. She did reserve the right that safety does come first and that if in the process, she felt that it wouldn’t be safe to add and implant than she would not do so. I was ok with that. When I would up from my procedure, I saw that she gave me exactly what I wanted and more. I am VERY pleased with the excellent customer service provided and will definitely come back again soon. Better than expected! Dr. Caplan and Dr. Nuveen are truly top notch in my book. I went in with a very disfigured lip and wasn't expecting much more than a slight improvement. Dr. Caplan and Dr. Nuveeen "nailed it" on my lip reconstruction. Almost 20 years of mental anguish is gone and it has only been a month since my procedure. Before the surgery, about 90 percent of my day used to be focused on my lip appearance and discomfort. I couldn't event see what was going on around me most days (that is how bad my lip bothered me). As cliche as it sounds, I feel that I finally have my life back and can finally focus on the things in life that are important without feeling "beat down" anymore They are very welcoming and professional as well as the WHOLE staff which made my experience all for the better. I can not began to express my gratitude for Dr. Nuveen and his wonderful staff. I began my journey with them in October with brachioplasty and breast lift/augmentation. I was scared and the wonderful staff he has answered all my questions, emails, and made time for anything I needed or questioned. I researched Doctors for a long time and no one compared to Dr. Nuveen. I didn't meet him till the day of surgery and he made me feel 100% that I was in the best of hands with his mannerisms and a joke to break the ice of my nervousness. I also, had a tummy tuck in march and another procedure in June there was no way I was even thinking about anyone else for it . If I have a concern or a question Dr. Nuveen is just a phone call away and he always is available to you as a patient. I have never met a Dr. who loved his job and patient's as much as this kind hearted man. Doctors are suppose to be about money, rush you out so they can move on to next one, and never care again once you leave. Dr. Nuveen personally calls to check on you and gives out his personal cell if any need or concern arises. He never thinks any questions you have are dumb answers them all and isn't about money, but what's best for you as a person, your body, and your safety. Until I awoke up in recovery the nurses helped me get dressed and they took me to my ride and helped to me load up into the car they gave my care giver all the information as needed .. it was a great experience working with them I don’t think I would had gotten the royal treatment any wear Else I was able to travel home the same day with easy and when we left the clinic we went to Walgreens which was right done the road maybe a mile my prescriptions were ready I will definitely go back in the future if needed pa my husband was very pleased with the out come .. And they do offer insurance on the implants there prices were very reasonable but he’s gonna over all I’m love hop they look and as of day too I’m not in that much pain I would definitely recommend friends and family Thank you for such a wonderful staff

I would not recommend this facility. I was very sick had to cancel surgery. Told I could re schedule WITH an additional $500. My Dr sent fax saying surgery not appropriate at this time. Still held to their policy. I needed to reschedule before two weeks of surgery. I got sick one week prior. Could not have surgery. Receptionist had absolutely no empathy or compassion for my situation. Told me their surgery Dr said I would be upset at their decision. I’m 74, have fixed income. $500 extra out of question.

I had breast implants that were over 30 years old. I was concerned that there could possibly be something wrong with them. Three years ago, Dr. Caplin replaced them. It was a difficult surgery apparently because of scar tissue on the right side. She had to remove a lot of tissue because of that. Dr. Caplin did a fantastic job of making them look the same size and was able to also do it without a lift. I am 60, and they look fabulous. I would recommend her to anyone. Looking forward to hopefully a face lift sometime soon there at CSA. Awesome staff, the nurses made me feel very secure.

My healing process has not been as fast as I would like but I am also a very tiny women but I did not go with big implants I went with a more natural look. 330 ccs. I also went with Dr.Caplin and she was a wonderful dr to work with and has answered all my questions/texts. She is really great. The office is amazing too although I was suppose to get a one week phone call check up and did not receive that nor did I get a two week phone call check up with me being about of town patient. Dr.Caplin has been amazing about returning texts/calls from her personal cell phone. I would recommend this place if you live closer to them so you can actually go in for your checks up other then being about of town patient because I had so many questions and concerns at times I wanted to see Dr.Caplin in person to ask them and her see me the days/weeks after. But me living in dallas and driving 4 1/2 hours home after surgery was not so comfortable for me. Dr.Caplin is defiantly worth going too. The staff is awesome as well. I went to see Dr. Nuveen for an Asian blepharoplasty. I called in 3-4 months ahead and asked whether he was experience in Asian double eyelid - the answer I got was vague, but the gal on the phone praised him and explained to me how the surgery would be done. I had a same day surgery and consultation - when I went in - I had no idea what would be done - I was hoping Dr. Nuveen would know more about Asian double eyelid surgery and explain it. But, he came in and asked me what my goals were - I told him my expectations - that I wanted bigger creases - obvious results. He placed a paper clip on my eyelid and when I asked him if that was how high it would be, because I was concerned - he didn't say much and drew on them - once he was done he asked me if his intern could draw on my other eye - I allowed it only because I didn't want to doubt their expertise. After that I looked in the mirror and realized the markings were uneven, but I didn't say anything, again I thought Dr. Nuveen would see this and fix it during surgery - but I was wrong. After surgery all I remember was waking up in my Mom's car and heading home. I was shocked when I was aware that they had performed surgery on the uneven markings. 3 weeks into the healing phase - one eye looked sunken and hollow - the other had multiple creases from scarring. I was appalled and depressed by the results - I contacted his nurse via email and was informed that these were the expected results at this time and any other concern must be addressed in person. When I texted Dr. Nuveen about how high my creases were "mm" after I consulted second expert opinion - he told me that he gave me 10 mm creases. Second opinion by other facial and eye specialist stated that 7 mm and under was the preferred crease height because it keeps the Asian features. Second expert opinion also agreed by my pictures that my left eye had more fat taken out causing it to look sunken and hollow. I was informed that if I wanted revision I would need to wait 6 months to a 1 year to heal completely. I been told that my eyelids looked hideous and unnatural - this experience has left me emotionally and physically scarred - I am scared to trust people to make permanent changes to my face and body now fearing for a worse outcome again. However, I know revision will need to be done and I will do more research to find the best specialist to fix what Dr. Nuveen has done. I would not recommend him to anyone - he spends less time explaining and I absolutely believe that he does not have any experience in Asian double eyelid surgery. Looking over the internet and comparing my results to other Asian double eyelid surgery mines are nothing close to the desire results I wanted and not natural looking at all - you can clearly see the scars and poor results from the surgery obviously. I hate having to look in the mirror now because I just hate the results and feel like what has been done took away my ethnic features.

This place is dishonest is a ripoff I do not recommend this practice I had the most horrible experience doing Botox with this cosmetic practice they charge me $525 for 34 units of Botox that did not have effect in the middle of my eyebrow, I talk to the manager she stated they do not guarantee the service and if after 2 weeks is not taking effect I can schedule to buy more units the nurse practitioner was about 23 years old and did not seam to have experience in this field. I am not ever going to allow any of their stuff to work on my face or any part of my body for any treatments

I made my deposit to get on the schedule and LESS THAN 24 hours later - They had not even charged my card yet! - cancelled Bc I was told by a local that they wouldn’t send their own daughter to this office. They billed me $500 and April, the office manager, refused to refund my $. The office might be more successful if the doctors would hire professionals who know how to deal with people. You don’t bill someone $500 when they cancel within 24 hours. Unless you want a bad reputation. Legally you have 3 days to cancel any contract. Also, the reply to this review is bogus because I did as requested and phoned April back but she has not responded to my phone call.

my most recent visit was really discouraging and quite unprofessional. I was told for a 4th surgery that I would need something done that has already been done from the 2nd surgery.. meaning my chart was not referred to. After 3 surgeries (a simple breast augmentation at 18 y/o going from a 32 A cup to now a double D and D cup.. when I know I asked for a C) and not fixing the problem, as well as being told it would be at no charge and I ended up paying an extra $2,000 for a "better" implant with the hope that it would help the major issue (pretty sure that's what Dr. Nuveen had suggested) and then paying for a nipple reduction which should have been waived because it's not corrected at all! (it's way worse with the scarring and with the future work/money I'll have to have done on it) I would have to say that this is hopeless and a huge loss of my time and money. Even with being given a complimentary lotion to help my scars that values around $40-$60 it doesn't make up or come close to the huge lack of confidence, lack of trust, and lack of respect from this practice. At this point, with all the things I've been falsely told by his staff and himself personally, I would never recommend this practice. Go to someone that is certified through the board of American Society of Plastic Surgeons (do your research!) I'm not the only person that has had bad results from this practice and I'm really upset at this point with the constant pain and irritation I have, and the total amount of money I have spent on 3 separate surgeries, doctor visit, pain meds, vitamins, and visiting other surgeons to find out how to correct this. Botched. (reach out to me if you want to know more - I have major scars to prove) EDIT : If you want real reviews, ask other medical offices if they have heard of him. I can tell some of these reviews are by the same person boosting him up.. I posted a "bad" one and within the same week, 5 more popped up that were 5 star. I moved back to Oklahoma and work for a doctor now, and the nurses have warned me about him. Unfortunately, I already experienced his services for the last 5 years and the 3 corrective surgeries have been let downs. He isn't trustworthy at all and he gets nervous under pressure. Beware. I have been in the cosmetic field for 4 years now and minored in Biology, where I have questioned my problems that he has caused and his solutions never have matched up.

CSA went above and beyond to make my experience great! We were in the midst of an ice storm and the majority of OKC was without power but the OR is fully powered by generators to continue with surgeries. The office staff had lanterns lining the hallways and exam rooms. Dr Nuveen is amazing and listened to what I wanted while also suggesting what he felt was appropriate regarding size of implants.
