As a first time injectables patient, I had a lot of questions and Dr. Clarke-Pearson took the time to answer ALL of them in an easy-to-understand and reassuring way. I never felt pressured to have a procedure done and she is honest with what you can expect with your results. Samantha and Erica who greet you when you arrive are kind and helpful and her medical aesthetician, Lauri, is knowledgeable and takes the time to provide a comprehensive (free) consultation. Having surgery in a different state and then popping my stitches here was bad enough without clinic after clinic being cold and dismissive over the phone. I was upset after being ignored with a quick glance at the local ER, and left in tears. There aren't words to describe how much my day turned around in one phone call. I showed up to Charm City and immediately warmed up to the knowledgeable and charismatic receptionist Erica. The aesthetic of this office is divine, and every room smells great without pumping perfume into the air Emily Clarke-Pearson was indeed the highlight of the whole day! She was personable, down to earth, passionate about her craft, driven, and incredibly intelligent. I know it's easy to talk the talk, but did she walk the walk? Yes! My stitches were perfectly sewn and continuous to cinch the wound closed. They were neat and fast, extremely professional! I just got the new stitches out today and my wound is closed, healed, and clean!!! With diligent scar management, I doubt I'll be able to see much of anything in a few months... TLDR: There really aren't enough words to describe how competent and capable Dr. Clarke-Pearson is. I've been struggling with my scar for years and this is my second surgical revision because I do not heal well. I would 100% be headed home frustrated and angry once again if not for her closing the wound. Instead I'm struggling not to smile. Thank you so much for all that you do.

What a welcome addition to Fells Point & The Inner Harbor. This little gem of an office recently opened and now you don't have to go to Towson or anywhere else for that matter. The Charm City Staff and Dr. Clarke-Pearson offer a warm, hospitable and welcoming environment in this chic sleek warm and relaxing boutique office, parking is also available which is another wonderful added feature, especially given the lack of spaces in Fells. Besides being new, cool, friendly and accessible, Dr. Clarke-Pearson's (Dr. Emily) approach to aesthetics is a very "new-school" approach. She is tremendously knowledgeable and skilled with an objective of keeping things natural and not overdone. I would call it "less is more". I went to see Dr. Emily for a consultation and felt an immediate sense of trust. I ended up having injections tat day. There is a major difference having injections done by a skilled surgeon. I then went to another local surgeon for implants and was so much happier with him.His many more yrs of experience were priceless. I interviewed with 3 doctors before making this very important decision. I’ve had other plastic surgery over the years and used other doctors in the past. All doctors including Dr. Clarke Pearson had excellent credentials. But I chose Dr. Clarke Pearson because she took her TIME with me, explained the process, all the options and most importantly made me feel completely at ease. She had also been referred to me by several others. Her attention to detail coupled with her friendly, authentic and confident demeanor was the winning factor. The day of my surgery she and her staff were awesome. They were attentive and professional. I literally felt completely comfortable in their hands. My surgery was a complete success and after 1 year I’m still incredibly happy with the results. I would 100% recommend Dr. Clarke Pearson - take a minute to meet her and you will know.

I suffer from chronic tension headaches and have had very little success with relieving them, even with medications. While researching online I discovered Botox has been found to help with headaches. I wanted a doctor who administered the shots, not a nurse or PA. I was pleased to find Dr. Clarke-Pearson was a Harvard trained plastic surgeon who did the injections in her office. I booked my appointment and soon met Dr. Clarke-Pearson. She was very welcoming and I was impressed with the office. It did not have the feel of a Botox factory. She asked me questions about my headaches and suggested 30 units of Botox around my brow and forehead. The injections were barely perceptible and she completed them within 5 or 6 minutes. There was no rush while she was working. I had no discomfort afterwards and no bruising the days following. I followed up with her a week afterwards with improved symptoms. It has now been a month and my headaches have significantly improved. Dr Clarke-Pearson suggested a follow up in 3 months...the typical length of an injection. I will be returning and have not hesitated to recommend her to friends and family members for a variety of services. As a male there is a stigma attached to getting Botox. Dr Clarke-Pearson helped me realize there are alternatives to pills, and I am glad I made the decision to visit her and her office.

I have been getting Botox for 5+ years and have been to many doctors. I've seen dermatologists, other plastic surgeons, and even one man who I later found out was a physical rehab doctor who decided to make money doing injections. There is absolutely no comparison between what Dr. C-P does and what I've experienced before her. First of all, her office staff made me feel as if they were waiting just for my call, and when I went to the office it was as if I were both a princess and their long-lost friend. I instantly felt comfortable enough to talk to Dr. C-P honestly about how I felt about myself. Not, "oh, I hate this wrinkle," but truly how I saw myself and how I felt like my face and body were getting farther away from that idea. Not once did she say the word "fix." When I've had consultations with other plastic surgeons, I have felt like a collection of parts: have to update this part, swap out that one, tighten this. Dr. C-P saw me the way that I do: a whole person with a face and body and personality that all go together as one thing. Anyway, after a long talk, she did my Botox. Dr. C-P is technically brilliant. In the past, when I've been Botoxed, the doctors have injected in six or eight places and I end up looking like I've been attacked by a swarm of bees. Dr. C-P treated about sixteen different spots on my face and at the end of it there were no huge lumps and she had actually used less Botox than I usually get. A week later the results were amazing. When I got treated by other people, I would have an expressionless, mask face for a couple of months afterwards. This time - the wrinkles and lines were gone, but my expressions were totally normal. I was totally myself - just a version of myself that didn't have any creases or lines. I can't imagine there's anyone as good as her on the East Coast, let alone in the DC/Baltimore area. On top of which - she's just a good person with a good heart. Her staff is wonderful. I can't say enough about her. Discovering this practice so close to my home is, so far, the best thing to happen to be in 2019.

My overall experience at Charm City Plastic Surgery was wonderful. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and responsive. I called on a whim and was able to get an appointment for a Botox treatment that day. Dr. Emily Clarke-Pearson is knowledgeable, personable, caring, and gentle. My 10yr wedding anniversary is approaching, and in anticipation of a vacation and vow renewal I went into Charm City Plastic Surgery for a "refresh." Dr. Clarke-Pearson did botox as well as lip/cheek filler (lip filler was a new experience for me). I was a little nervous, both because I was new to Dr. Clarke-Pearson and because I had never gotten lip filler before. Other people have talked about the comfort and warmth of her office and her staff as well as her personal charm and charisma, and I completely agree. I was relaxed and happy within fifteen minutes of walking in. The results are fantastic! Dr. C-P is extremely talented. I am a physician myself and all of my girlfriends, most of whom are also doctors, are jealous. Everything looks so natural but so good that they couldn't decide if I had gotten a really quality facial or a mini-face lift. When you've had injectables and your friends can't decide what you've had done, only that you look amazing, you know you've found a brilliant plastic surgeon. Dr. C-P has herself a patient for life.
