My son crushed the tip of his thumb at work causing him to lose the tip and nail. We were sent to Dr Williamson. His bed side Manor was the worst we have ever had. He looked at the X-ray, tested his thumb in 2 places, and tested for mobility, then was going to send him home with just a referral to a hand therapist. He wasn't even going to re-bandage the thumb, until I demanded it. He would not listen to what I was telling him the ER doctor said or answer any of our questions. We will not be going back to him again.

Dr. Williamson performed major reconstructive surgery on my face after a vicious car accident in 2000. The surgery involved 15 steel plates and around 100 screws. I have never once had an issue with any of it and to come out looking the way I did I would say is a testament to this man's skill. Thank you Dr. Williamson.

Outstanding surgeon, did a great job on a complex reconstruction of my jaw with part of my fibula. Bedside manner is just fine.

Unfortunately I am one of the ones who have had an absolute HORRIBLE experience!! After waiting over two years for my consultation I finally had a date for my appointment, I ended up waiting in the waiting room for what seemed to be over an hour, once I was actually in the room he asked if I had any questions but before I could ask any his cellphone rang about a minute into our first interaction and all he said was "my nurse will be in to show you a video in a minute" said nurse came in handed me a tablet and I watched a short video... unfortunately NONE of my questions were heard and I was left in the dark (should have been a huge red flag but hey I gave him a chance) I was then put on a waiting list for a surgery date, a few months passed and I was given a date in August of 2017...... Surgery date came and I was at KGH waiting to speak with him, he and his student came in and every time I asked a question he brushed it off and would only really talk to his student. Upon waking up the nurses were looking for him so he could give me after care instructions but his poor bedside manner continued and they were surprised that he left the hospital without saying anything and his office was closed for the weekend. I ended up having a panic attack while attempting to change my own dressing for the first time and ended up in the ER as I was still bleeding pretty good. Two weeks passes and I go in for my follow up... well his nurse ends up taking the rest of my steri-strips off and tearing my scab forming a puckering hole under my breast that ended up opening to the size of a quarter leading to horrible scarring and sore scar tissue.. I called his office multiple times with no help and no offer to come back in to get checked up.... I ended up back at the ER with a staph infection, thankfully the nurse I had there had a reduction and previously worked in his office and knew how poor his bed side manner was and helped me with so much information. Fast forward to a year when they are supposed to be the size they will be..... Let's just say I am SO unhappy.. He ended up giving me what they call a "dog ear" because he failed to pin the side up properly and my bra's rub none stop causing me major pain and discomfort and it's not even worth it as my breast are still VERY large.. I also do not think he preformed any liposuction on the sides causing me to have this awkward chunk or "bra roll" what ever you wanna call it and I am 100% sure I did not have it before this surgery. I am also not sure if his student was just sitting in on this procedure or if he did it because the work I had done sure looks like someone was learning... and I was definitely not informed a student would be completing my surgery...... I ended up going for a breast massage to have some of my scar tissue broken down and the first thing my RMT said to me (she specializes in post op breast massage)was " HOLY you were sure butchered". In my opinion I suggest you don't waste your time with this doctor as in my experience he sure won't waste a second of his time on you and doesn't really care about following up with any of your concerns.

I had surgery on my hand last March. Dr Williamson and his staff looked after me in a very professional manner. I didn't think my hand would ever be normal again with the operation and after surgery. With the help from Julie in Physio after the recovery went very good. My hand is back to normal and I can say it was well worth the experience. I haven't had the chance to thank Dr. Williamson yet but I will.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I had a horrible experience with Dr S . Williamson. Before I continue I want to note that his staff and clinic were excellent. However, Dr. Williamson's bedside manner was awful. He belittled and pressured me into doing a procedure that was inappropriate for my body and lifestyle. I reluctantly continued with the procedure and ended up with a lopsided and painful result. Unfortunately it has taken me 10 years to save the money and find a reputable and amazing surgeon to correct the mistake.
