I recently had a partial amputation on my middle finger due to a wakeboarding accident. When I came into the hospital emergency, I was told by multiple professionals that my finger was too far gone, and amputation was necessary. I slept on it for the night, and I spoke to Dr. Miller in the morning about my options. He had mentioned that the finger was really bad, but if I wanted, he would give it an honest attempt to save it, despite its condition. They wheeled me in to the OR and down I went. Here I am, 19 days later being discharged from KGH with a healthy finger, about to embark on my path to recovery and my eventual return to work with all of my fingers. Thank you so much for stepping up and giving it your best when the odds were against me!

I had a mole / bump on the edge of my nose for months and it wouldn't stop growing. It was uncomfortable and made me feel self conscious. It was complicated but I tried calling every dr in Kelowna two or more times. No one would take me due to 'having bigger projects'. It took about 9 months of calling before we called Dr Miller again and explained the situation. He had me in for a consult and helped me get it removed within 2-3 months. His team was amazing and supportive, I have medical anxiety so I know I am not the easiest. They talked me through everything and ensured I was comfortable the entire time.
