I have been going to Jen, the aesthetician at WCPS for 2 years now. I've had regular facials, coolsculpting (with incredible results), hydrafacials, laser hair removal, and microneedling with her. I appreciate her warm and friendly demeanor each time I see her. I haven't had a treatment that I wouldn't recommend but what makes it a 5 star rating really is Jen and her professionalism, kindness and ability to educate you regarding each service treatment. Highly recommend!

I was in a vehicular accident almost 2 weeks ago. After leaving the hospital, I was to make a follow-up appointment with Dr. Nguyen. It was my understanding that we'd be taking new x rays or scans due to concerns of the fractures in my face becoming worse or shifting once swelling had gone down. However, once i got there, I had to pay my co-pay before the appointment. And once we sat down with Dr Nguyen, i voiced some concerns of my teeth shifting once the swelling in my face receded. He told me "Maybe you dont know your teeth and theyve always been like that" and jerked my tooth around to see if it was loose. In the first 3 days after my accident, my tooth shifted counter clockwise. I had braces when i was younger so I think i would know whats going on with my own teeth.. No new x rays or scans were done or refferred. My concerns were not addressed and I was not taken seriously. I was sent away with no new knowledge, and highly disappointed with my visit. Over all, very friendly staff, but Dr. Nguyen was unprofessional and kinda rude..

I've been to Dr. Tenenbaum and Emily Weinhaus on multiple occasions for consultations and procedures, and I'll never go elsewhere! The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors go out of their way to make it easy to get in for an appointment. Nobody here tries to push services, but they do a great job of explaining what different procedures and products might do (with both advantages and disadvantages). Before any procedure, costs are very clearly stated up front -- as are recovery times and potential issues that might arise. I have nothing but the highest praise for the doctors, the staff, and the kindness and professionalism of everyone who works at West County Plastic Surgeons.

Jennifer was very thorough, made sure I was comfortable through the whole process, and paid close attention to my problem areas! Following the treatment, my skin has been baby soft, glowy, and my acne scars have significantly improved. I came to West County Plastic Surgeons because they have the best price in St. Louis for SkinPen microneedling. My only regret is not purchasing the package!!! Highly recommend.

Beware of Marissa Tenenbaum. She is a terrible surgeon who did an unbelievably bad post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Chronic pain and disfigurement have been my experience with her. To add insult to injury, she was completely unsympathetic for damaging me. Thankfully, I have found a doctor who is going to attempt to rectify the damage she has done.

I had breast revision surgery with Dr. Tenebaum on 6/4/2020. she replaced implants and some other minor revision. I am 78 and have had breast surgery several times after breast cancer and mastectomy 31 years ago. I look better today than ever. Dr. Tenebaum is the best!! I went home the day of surgery, had very little discomfort and am so pleased with the result.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Myckatyn based on my personal experience. After 3 procedures (and several thousands of dollars) my breast are uneven, and still have way too much excess skin . In addition, after the 3rd procedure which was to correct uneven nipple size, they are still vastly different with one being much larger. I expressed my concerns at each visit and was dismissed each time being told “they are not going to be perfect” and “your case was challenging”. While I did not expect perfection, I expected everything to be symmetrical! As far as challenging, that is the reason I came to the office for surgical intervention. Had I known he felt my case was too challenging for him I would of never proceeded. As emberressing as this is to admit and share, I feel it’s only right if it saves one other person from the outcome I now live with.

I was skeptical about Coolsculpting. Was it really effective? Would I be happy with the results, the actual procedure? The advertisements painted a rosy picture, but would I see the same changes? My initial appointment for an assessment was with Jennifer McGoogan. she was so professional and thorough, and her analysis of what I needed was spot on. I think I was her most skeptical patient, yet she was always patient with me and stedfast on how and what Coolsculpting would do. Yes, I am thrilled with the results. Jennifer is incredible and so is everyone I have met at West County Plastic Surgeons. I recommend them to my friends and most importantly I trust them. Last but certainly not least, Jennifer introduced me to the Alastin skincare line. Phenomenal products that are so gentle yet effective. My skin looks cleaner, brighter and more toned. Oh my goodness do I absolutely love this place! I have been getting laser hair removal for almost a year at this point and I really can't express how happy I am. Jen just does such an amazing job with what she's doing and makes sure you fully understand what to expect and how to care for your skin after treatment. I'm already onto my third body place to getting the laser hair removal because I really don't want to stop! Jen is very good at what she does and the entire time I feel very relaxed and comfortable like I'm just talking and hanging out with a friend. I wouldn't want to go to any other place simply because of how personable and friendly Jen really is. If I were to say anything bad, it would definitely be that Jen is too good at her job! I mean seriously!! The amount of hair I have left after each session gets so much smaller and smaller each time, like girl is a miracle worker with how effective and amazing her skills are! Even when she is lasering very sensitive parts, Jen is able to adjust on the fly with any and all flinches I may have. Jen goes as gentle as possible, being super understanding and caring during the entire process to make it as painless and pleasant as possible. The real tragedy here is that not all of y'all have experienced how professional and incredible Jen's treatments are and that needs to change. If you are thinking about getting laser at all then I highly, highly, SO VERY highly recommend West County Plastic Surgeons to work with Jennifer Mcgoogan. And I know that pricing can be a little scary/worrisome, but they have different packages with different prices so I still recommend this place. Hands down, 10/10 I recommend Jen to all of my friends, family, coworkers and really anyone that I talk to. Please check them out and give them a chance, you won't be disappointed (unless of course you don't go and don't get laser hair removal by Jen, then I'd be disappointed as well!)!!

The Team at West County Plastic Surgeons is the best. I have received treatments that for a guy can sometimes seem uncomfortable. They approach every interaction (from the front desk to direct patient care) with compassion and incredible knowledge and experience. I think being a part of Washington University School of Medicine is a huge benefit you can’t get anywhere else. Knowing the team is involved in and passionate about evidence-based practices is priceless. The results and patient experience are exactly what I hoped for.
